Clove P.O.V.

It was raining very heavily for District two; everyone was being ushered inside because there was thunder and lightning too, but instead I decided to make my way to the meadow on the outside of the fences of District two, because in needed to think about things. I had a weird day at training today. I was on my own – as usual, because no-one else was a high level 70 in the girls training like me – when suddenly a boy, I think his name was Cato Stone or something, he was the same level as me, just in the boys training, came in and stared at me all day, for no reason what so ever. He was tall and muscular, with blonde spiky hair and light blue eyes. He was very handsome and muscular; all of the girls liked him. I was thinking about things when I heard a rustling in the bushes. I quickly snapped my head around 90° and saw the very same Cato Stone, who I was thinking about earlier, standing in front of me.

"You know you really should be inside, since there have been flood warnings and all." He says. "Nah," I tell him "I like it here." I tell him. "Why?" He asks me. "Well, there's freedom to do and have the things you want. I know people that come here to be with a certain person that they love for 'feelings' or 'love' and stuff, some people come to think about things. I only come here for the freedom." I reply. Suddenly a blast of lightning to a tree makes me stand up and realise what time it is. "Why do you come here?" I ask him. "I guess you could say to think." He tells me. "Why? I mean about what? Training? Nah, you're already good at that." I laugh "Well, you see," He starts off "there's this girl I like. She's beautiful, with long, dark hair, green eyes and is very skilled with weaponry." That's it I couldn't take it anymore. I didn't want to listen to him rambling on about some other girl that he 'liked' just to rub it in. It was probably Prady, a girl his age who was good with spears and who I often got in fights with, because she was jealous of my great skill with knives. "I'm sorry I have to go..." I tell him, walking away quickly. "Oh...well...see you..." He says. He sounds disappointed. I thought of our conversation as I walked home 'She's beautiful, with long, dark hair, green eyes and is very skilled with weaponry.' Wait... Prady doesn't have green eyes... I'm the only one in our whole school with green eyes...
