Summary: What if Molly Weasley decided to fight for Baby Harry against Albus Dumbledore? Completely AU! Partly OOC

It was very late on Hallow's Eve that Molly Weasley returned from Albus Dumbledore's office at Hogwarts home to the Burrow in absolute anger. She was a thirty-one-year-old witch, happily married with her husband and had seven children. The oldest, Bill, was already a first-year student at Hogwarts, while the youngest, Ginevra, her only girl, was just a ten-week-old baby. For Molly, family was more important than anything else in the world, and her profession was that of a mother.

"Arthur, you won't believe it." She glared at her husband, feeling thoroughly upset at the headmaster of Hogwarts.

"What happened?" Calm as usual, Arthur cast her a questioning look.

"Well, I told Albus that we'd like to take little Harry in, considering that I was good friends with Lily and often babysat Harry. You know how close he and Ron are."

Arthur nodded. He knew that their son Ronald had been playing with Harry at least once a week. "Yes, and what did he say?"

"He bluntly told me that we couldn't afford it and that it wouldn't be safe for Harry at the Burrow. It was always safe enough for him, when Lily brought him to me to play with Ron. I can't believe it. He told me he had just sent Harry to his muggle relatives."

"Oh, all right." Arthur nodded in apparent understanding.

"All right?" Molly all but shouted. "Nothing is all right. His aunt hates him with a passion, and her husband is even worse. Lily mentioned them to me more than once. Arthur, I'm going to speak with Head Unspeakable Croaker. Perhaps, he can help us."

Her husband did not contradict, probably knowing that she would not listen to any objections anyway. She was on the war path, and she would achieve what she wanted, as usual.

First thing the following morning, she made her way to the Unspeakables' office, knowing that she had to be back at home on time for Arthur to leave. He worked at the Ministry of Magic, a job which unfortunately was not paid overly well.

To her relief, Croaker indeed agreed to meet with her. In fact, she had met the older wizard before. Years ago, her twin brothers had joined the Unspeakables and had recommended the same for her. However, at that time, Bill had just been a few weeks old, and she had been too busy with her first child to do anything but care for the baby.

"Mrs. Weasley, what brings you to me?" Croaker smiled, as he offered her a seat on the only vacant chair in his office. All the other chairs were covered by huge piles of books and parchments.

"Thank you for meeting with me." Molly let out a deep sigh, before she explained about being friends with Lily Potter and wanting to include little Harry into her family, as his parents perished the previous evening.

"Actually, I believe that would be a good idea. However, we should go and erect reasonable wards around your home."

Sighing again, Molly explained about Albus Dumbledore's reaction to her offer. "Safety was one point, not having enough money the other. I was wondering if your offer for me to join the Unspeakables still stands. I still have to care for my children of course, but perhaps, I could do some research or come to the office once Arthur is back at home in the evenings."

Croaker nodded. "Yes and yes." He remained pensive for a moment. "At what time does Arthur leave for the ministry in the morning?"

"Usually at nine."

"Very well. That means that you can absolve training with Devil, our trainer, from six or seven to nine. During the day, you could spend some time doing research at your home, and once Arthur is back home, you can join your team colleagues if that's what you'd like."

"Yes please," Molly agreed, nodding in determination.

"I shall add you to Team 5. I believe that you already know most of the members."

"Who might they be?" Molly felt extremely curious, knowing that she was not aware of anyone being a member of the Unspeakables, after her brothers had been murdered.

"That is for me to know and for you to eventually find out. You must gain your colleagues' trust, before they will be willing to reveal their identity to you. As the head Unspeakable, I am the only one who knows everyone's identity."

Molly nodded in understanding. "May I tell Arthur?"

"No." Croaker's voice was firm. "He may know that you're an Unspeakable; however, you must swear me a witch's oath to not reveal any secrets of the Unspeakables to anyone outside your team."

"All right." Molly agreed and swiftly swore her oath.

"As to the matter with Harry Potter, please consult your team colleagues. They will be able to draw strong wards around your property, and they will help you abduct him from his relatives without Dumbledore knowing about it."

"Won't I be accused of child abduction if I do that?" Molly stared at Croaker in shock.

Croaker smirked. "No, dear. Your colleagues will do everything the proper way. Please discuss everything with them. Now, have you already thought of an Unspeakable name?"

Molly remained pensive for a moment. "Perhaps Calico. Would that be all right? It's my Animagus form."

Croaker's eyes widened. "You're a calico cat? That's a very useful Animagus form. Very well, Calico. Let's go and get some Unspeakable robes for you, before I introduce you to Team 5."

Fifteen minutes later, Molly was wearing similar robes to the Head Unspeakable. They covered her whole body, and the attached hood had charmed holes for the eyes, through which you could only look from the inside out but not vice versa.

Croaker stopped in front of a door with the inscription 'Team 5' and gave the door a sharp knock.

"Here we are. Are you ready?"

"As ready as I can be," Molly replied in determination that waned a little upon entering the room, which was occupied by four unknown Unspeakables.

"Good morning, everyone. This is our newbie for your team, Unspeakable Calico. These are Ra, Raros, Mento and Ganko."

"Calico?" one of them spoke up. "Our sister is a calico Animagus."

"I believe that you're in good hands here. I shall leave now. Please tell them about your problem. It should be solved as soon as possible."

"Yes sir. Thank you, Croaker," Molly replied, feeling even more curious now after hearing one of her colleagues speaking about his sister. 'Ah, I am stupid. It's ridiculous to get my hopes up. The twins are dead. Moody said so himself,' she thought, before one of her colleagues lowered his hood.

When Molly returned home through the Floo network at 8:30 in the morning, knowing that Arthur had to leave for the Ministry of Magic soon, she smiled in happiness. She gently hugged her children, who came running to the fireplace upon her arrival.

"Arthur, this is just amazing. I have the best team colleagues you can imagine. I can't tell you anything, but I'm very happy. They're going to come over to put up strong wards, and they will help me gain the guardianship over Harry without Dumbledore knowing about it."

"Congratulations, Molly. I look forward to having Harry here. It'll be good for Ron to have a brother of his own age, too."

Molly smiled, happily, as she gently lifted Ginny out of her crib and hugged her close.
