Leonard and Penny

Chapter one – Naughty Carrot take 2

Leonard and Penny Hofstadter were married. They had met years ago when Penny had moved into the apartment across the hall from Leonard and his then roommate, Sheldon. The apartment was vast. It was a good thing that they, and Sheldon, had relatively good jobs because the rent was not cheap, plus, Sheldon being 'one of god's special little people' as his mother had put it meant that Leonard was not allowed to move out and therefore Penny was still paying rent on her apartment.

One of the features of the apartment was that the kitchen was part of the living room. There was a breakfast bar too, the setting for a lot of chats between the girls, date nights, breakfasts and lots of other things over the years. This morning was no different. Penny walked out of the bedroom and over to the coffee machine. She turned it on and grabbed two cups out of the cupboard and put them on the side. Thanksgiving was over for another year and it had been one of the most embarrassing ones yet.

It had started as a lovely day. Amy had gone with Sheldon to the aquarium, Bernadette, Howard, Raj and Emily had volunteered at the local soup kitchen, and Leonard and Penny were alone. Cooking thanksgiving dinner ready for everyone to enjoy together. Then, due to Penny forgetting her own husband's birthday, came the embarrassing part. Leonard had gotten changed into the orange 'baby doll' night dress that he had purchased for Penny the previous valentines day. As the other's walked in, Leonard had been dancing for Penny in that exact outfit. Talk about embarrassing.

Now, as Penny made the coffee, she thought back to the previous afternoon, the meal had been lovely, it always was when the five of them got together, and Raj's current girlfriend was good company too. But what was taking over most of her thoughts was Leonard, generally that was the case all the time, but today seemed different for some reason, she thought about how he looked in the nightie and laughed out loud. Yeah, it had been embarrassing, but it had also been funny. If there was one thing about Leonard, he would always make her laugh. Maybe being a 'sexy carrot' wasn't the end of the world after all. Today was Friday, but they had both taken the day off, they always did. Maybe Leonard would appreciate her dressing up in the 'carrot' outfit, especially as it had been a present for her.

"I've put the coffee on" Penny nudged Leonard who was still laying in bed dozing in and out of sleep "can you make it?"

"why can't you?" Leonard teased her, he knew he'd be the one to do it, he always was, in fact it was out of character of Penny to put the coffee on, so he already felt a little bit of a win "you started it so you can finish it"

"it's your job" Penny teased him back, pulling the covers off of him and jumping back into bed in one full swoop. "you always do it"

"okay, okay" Leonard heaved himself out of bed, put on his dressing gown and went to pour the coffee in the kitchen.

Penny quickly found the nightie and pulled it on. Leonard had stretched it slightly, but it still looked pretty good on her, she went into the kitchen and crept up on him "hi lover" she said, mimicking what he had said the day before when he had come into the room in the same outfit.

"ah" Leonard laughed "now who's a naughty carrot?"

"guilty" Penny cooed, giggling more and more as the same absurd situation from the night before replayed in a slightly different way "was thinking maybe we could do more of the dancing from yesterday"

"really?" Leonard was pleased he hadn't gotten dressed already

"yeah, but maybe go a little bit further this time"

"sounds good to me"

Leonard pulled her into one of the most passionate kisses they'd ever experienced both together or separately, as he did this they could both feel him getting excited, his baggy boxers may have been looser than the tighty whities he'd worn for years before, but they didn't mask his growing erection anywhere near as well. Penny didn't mind, she already wanted him and rubbed her hand across it as it straightened out, getting itself ready for the moment they had both been waiting for.

Penny hopped up onto the breakfast bar stool and slipped off her orange knickers, the ones that had come with the set Leonard had purchased from the dirty store in san deigo, and threw them on the floor. Leonard responded by hitching up the skirt slightly and tried to enter her. Penny used her hands to guide him in and gasped as he found exactly where to go, he gasped in response and started to make love to her. They kept going for a few minutes, both moaning as they got closer and closer to climax. Suddenly without any warning at all, their front door opened and Amy walked in.

"can you believe Sheldon doesn't want to go…" Amy looked up at Leonard and Penny in a rather compromising position. For a few seconds they all just stood still in silence staring at each other, Leonard in mid thrust, unsure what to do, it was like someone had pressed pause on the world "I'm so sorry"

"Amy, ever heard of knocking?" Penny wasn't sure what else to say, even now Amy didn't really respond to what Penny was saying it just seemed like Amy was soaking in the situation trying not to laugh and both not being able to look and not being able to take her eyes off them at the same time. "AMY GET OUT"

"I'm so sorry" Amy snapped back into reality and left sheepishly. Leonard had gone floppy and the moment had passed. They both walked silently into their bedroom ready to get dressed, almost unable to look each other in the eye without laughing. In the end they couldn't hold it in any more and just started giggling and laughing until they couldn't laugh anymore because their bellies were aching too much.

Amy got into her car and stared ahead, unsure what to do, or say. She didn't know what would happen next time she saw them, she didn't know if she'd be able to look them in the eye again. Amy was still a virgin, her mother hadn't let her go out and do anything, she only knew what whoares did because she read a book when she was in school. Amy wondered if she would ever have that type of connection with anyone, even in the split second between Amy seeing what was going on and it registering exactly what was going on she saw the love between Leonard and Penny. A love that had been there since they first met, that both of them, at some time had denied, Amy wanted that and she knew she had to have it. It was obvious Sheldon didn't want her any more, she'd have to give Dave another chance.
