1] The Gist of this Fic

Today's the day. My friend dragged me to play it, oh well, so be it, I got the new VR headset as a Present from my parents, and the game is very Casual friendly, Thank you anti-Aggressive Microtransaction Laws of last Year (Yeah, They fucked many Games and devs who simply Bailed off the country tbh, hooray for needed government intervention causing a Free market mess) for making Buy to Play games prohibited from adding anything past good old Horse armor DLCs as Paid content. The game I bought after I got a weirdly generous Money gift from a friend of mom, from her Times in Germania.

I'm Adelaide Degurechaff, a Hafu daughter between a Japanese Father and a Germanian Mother. Father was a Succesful Salaryman, currently retired and usually the one keeping House, Mom, Tanya von Degurechaff, seems to do Work for a Germanian Huge company, as well as some Mangaka stuff as a Hobby she earns money with as well. Thankfully Akitsushima has such great Ties to Germania and OZEV, the economic Bloc that Europan Superpower is leader of for so long, that Hafus with Germanian descent are hardly Ostracized and Bullied here. My Dear friend however wasn't as Lucky, since she's Legadonian by her Dad's side. Our Friendship began in the unusual way honestly.

We met during Elementary school years, and her Brown Hair and clear Nordic traits made her the Odd one of the class, I couldn't care less for her looking like a Foreigner that had once been Enemies with Germania-Chan, Me protecting her was the start of our Friendship. Mary Shiroyuki, plucky and a rather one note ditz, but once she gets set on her Target, good luck PRYING her off your ass if that's her target. Well, at least, I also managed more than one friend, but for now, it's time to start, NWO launch has been a day or two ago, starting up is a must if I want to manage getting into the grind soon.

Once I made my character, the Deep immersion VR nature of the game meaning that changes were nothing but Hair color and such Minimal Cosmetic Details, so to my dismay, I will have to be the Small waif sized Girl instead of Mom's still petite but well developed physique, curses you VR game restrictions! I hardly made changes, I kept my Blonde haircolor, but made my Hairdo a bit more Like one Pamphlet of a Starry eyed young Girl, shoulder length and with a nice Silky feeling, Blue eyes and more or less that's it.

Starting with a damn INT and MP focused Schwabuckler seems stupid, more so if I am using the Short swords that are Initially available, I was tempted pulling an Idiotic move of MinMaxing one stat like VIT and going along the ride, But I will do that on a sub character for the Lols, not to Play with Mary, or what she decides to pick as her In-Game nick. Mine is Pixie.

Sure, Starting Layer, starting field, full newbie haven, how many of these damned Fruit looking Rabbits I killed? Probably enough, to get to the Point it was Yielding reducing gains already due to my Level. But I don't want to rush deeper without either updating from starter weapons slash armor or getting a Skill, NWO has Skills one can earn via achievements right?

This is awfully stupid but also nice. Who knew the Devs of this game had some Weird sense of Humor? Odds are even fucking Players have a Flavor attached to the Avatar code data.

It only costed me Buying all I could in HP and Anti-Poison Potions of the NPC shop, but I managed it.

Now I notice one thing where that Field Boss breathed its last as I chomped it down. A recovery Ring? Neat. Knowing and being a Good Evasion surely made keeping my biting on point. Some Passive HP recover would be welcome.
