Nagisa Shiota was an ordinary kid in junior high when they came to earth. Those known as the Galactic Empire. They united earth under their rule and forced people into servitude. Nagisa was a Stormtrooper. TK-1263. In the imperial Army, he was forced to kill women and children. In the barracks of the Star Destroyer where Nagisa was stationed called the Deadly Fury, Nagisa was in his bunk when two of his friends, Tomohito Sugino and Karma Akabane, TK-1262 and TK-1264, walked in and sat at the table talking. Nagisa had no love for the empire since it took him from his mother.
That was when Nagisa heard Tomohito say, "... defect…." That got Nagisa's attention and after getting off his bunk, he sat next to Tomohito. Nagisa asked them, "what are you guys talking about?" Karma looked to make sure no loyal Stormtroopers were around and he said, "We've been hearing reports of A rebel fleet in nearby systems. The battles this ship has seen I bet they think they can stand a chance. So if they attack, Tomohito and I are defecting to their side, Yukiko and Manami too." Manami Okuda and Yukiko Kanzaki, two of Nagisa's friends from earth as well. They were TK-1260 and TK-1261 and had no love for the empire like they did. In fact the only people who enjoyed being imperials were Ryoma Terasaka and his gang, Kiara Hazama, Taisei Yoshida, and Takuya Muramatsu. They were formerly known as TK-1256 to TK-1259.
"What about the others?" Nagisa asked them. Karma said, "they got transferred to other Star Destroyers. We're the only three left on board from our class." Nagisa sighed as he thought of his crush Kaede Kayano, she was made to be TK-1265 and was last seen at Tatooine. But before either one of them could speak, they heard the alarm sound and a voice said, "All crew to their positions! We are under Rebel attack!" Karma, Tomohito, and Nagisa got their helmets on, their stuff and made for an Escape pod. On the bridge, Terasaka was in his captain's uniform when a Bridge officer under his command said, "I regret to inform you sir that the Hanger has been taken out."
"Damn, focus all Quad turbo laser batteries on taking down those fighters!" Terasaka said with anger. That was when another deck officer said, "Sir! An escape pod has been launched!" But Terasaka was too focused on the Rebels. In the escape pod, Nagisa, Karma, Manami, Tomohito, and Yukiko all sat down as Nagisa looked at the Rebel Fleet and said, "That Nebulon-B frigate has to be the command ship for the Rebel fleet." That was when Karma said, "Patching us through now." After a while, a voice came in and said, "This is Captain Yuma Isogai who is contacting us?"
"Yuma, is that really you?" asked Karma, who got a reply of, "Karma? Yeah it's me man. Who else is with you?" The five friends smiled before Karma said, "It's me, Nagisa, Tomohito, Yukiko, and Manami." On the Nebulon-B frigate, Yuma smiled and said, "okay, give me a moment and I'll get someone to come get you." He then looked at his comm officer and said, "Get me Hera." The Comm officer nodded his head and contacted the person Yuma asked him to get. Soon a Green skinned Twi'lek appeared and she said, "Captain Isogai, what do you need me to do?" and Yuma said, "There's an escape pod that launched from that Destroyer, it has five of my friends on it. Get it and bring them here now."
"Copy Captain Isogai." Hera said as she piloted her modified VCX-100 light freighter, the Ghost, to get the escape pod for Yuma. Nagisa saw the Ghost move in and the five of them felt the escape pod get jerked a bit. Hera then told Yuma she had the escape pod and was moving towards the fleet. Yuma smiled and said, "thank you Hera. All hands, prepare to jump to Hyperspace, we are leaving." The people under his command nodded their heads and the entire fleet turned and jumped into Hyperspace.
On the Star Destroyer, Terasaka was told the damage to his ship and said, "Damn it, have TK-1260 to TK-1264 help with the Hanger repairs." That was when the Stormtrooper commander, Yoshida, said, "I called them but they didn't respond. Ryoma… I think they were in the escape pod." Terasaka growled and walked off to punch a wall. Back with the Rebel fleet, Nagisa and the others were let out of the escape Pod when a man walked in and said, "Welcome on board the Ghost, I'm Kanan Jarrus." Nagisa introduced himself and the others to him when Hera walked in and said, "Captain Isogai must be close friends with you five if he asked us to get you." Tomohioto smiled and said, "He's one of our friends from when we were kidnapped from our home planet."
"He did mention that he was forced into the Imperials." Kanan said as he crossed his arms. After the fleet exited Hyperspace, Hera piloted the ghost to dock alongside with the Nebulon-B frigate called The Hope's defender. Nagisa and the others got out of the Stormtooper armor before climbing into the Nebulon-B. They were then escorted to the medical bay where the five of them shouted, "KOTARO!" standing in front of them was a man their age in a medical uniform and big glasses. He smiled and said, "Nagisa! Karma! Manami! Tomohito! Yukiko!" he shared hugs with all of them as Nagisa said, "it's damn good to see you Kotaro."
"Likewise, you five must have been the Defectors I was told to check out." Kotaro said with a smile. That made Yukiko panic before backing up. Tomohito looked at her and asked, "Yukiko?" Yukiko slid down the wall and cried before a Rebel Trooper said, "The Commander wishes to see you five on the bridge." Nagisa looked at Kotaro and said, "Check her out please." Kotaro nodded his head and Nagisa led Karma, Manaim, and Tomohito to follow the Rebel Trooper while Kotaro had a Medical droid help him out.
On the bridge, Nagisa, Tomohito, Karma, and Manami saw Yuma and Nagisa said, "Yuma!"
Smiling at his friends, he shook their hands and hugged them all before he said, "Damn it's good to see you guys again. I thought Yukiko was with you?" Tomohito said that she was in the Infirmary. That was when a Hologram of Kotaro appeared and said, "Ah good, you're all here, we have a problem here." When Yuma asked Kotaro what he meant, Kotaro said, "Terasaka forced himself onto Yukiko… and she's pregnant with his kid." Tomohito growled and wanted to punch Terasaka in his face. But Nagisa kept him calm. Yuma sighed and said, "Thank you Kotaro, we'll drop her off at command." Kotaro nodded his head and ended the transmission.
"But onto why I called you guys here." Yuma said as he crossed his arms before saying, "I want you guys to join the Rebellion." Nagisa and the other three were shocked and he asked, "Is it a choice we make?" but Tomohito cut Yuma off and said, "I'M IN! For Yukiko." Then Karma said, "To help the enemy of the people who took us from our home, hell yeah." Manami was on board too. Nagisa was hesitant and Yuma noticed this. He told nagisa, "I don't need an answer right away man. We're on our way to Command so you can think about it." Nagisa nodded his head and they all walked out.
As the fleet traveled to Rebel Command, Nagisa was walking around as he thought about what to do when he bumped into a guy carrying a crate and the guy said, "Hey watch where you're…. Nagisa?!" Nagisa looked up and gasped as he saw another man from his class and home, Hiroto Maehara. Nagisa smiled and hugged his old friend. Hiroto then asked Nagisa, "How the hell did you get on here?" Nagisa told him what happened and Hiroto said, "Karrablast…. Oh hey. Come with me." Nagisa nodded his head and after helping Hiroto with the crate and dropped it off where it was supposed to be. Hiroto then led Nagisa to his quarters and showed him….
"HINATA!" Nagisa shouted after seeing the athletic girl from his school. She gasped and shouted, "Nagisa!" They then shared a hug but Nagisa felt a scar on her back and asked her about it. She told him, "After Hiroto and I got transferred to a planet, we were told to execute civilians. I refused… that was when I got hit in my back, not fatally. It was then we realized that the Empire was pure Evil. When we first came across a Rebel scout, we surrendered and declared our defection. Mon Mothma heard our case and allowed us to Join the rebellion and were sent here under Yuma's command."
"But didn't you guys want to go home?" Nagisa asked them. Hiroto sat down and said, "we wanted to, but earth is too deep in Imperial Space, and we have no clear routes to go home. Until that day comes, we will fight for the rebellion using our skills." Nagisa nodded his head and was upset that he couldn't go home. Soon the fleet they were in arrived at Rebel Command on the forest moon of Yavin 4. After being taken down to the planet, Nagisa, Tomohito, Manami, Karma, and Yukiko were escorted by Rebel Troopers, Yuma, Hiroto, and Hinata to Rebel command. That was when they met them, The leader of the Rebellion, Mon Mothma, Rebel Alliance Starfighter Commander General Antoc Merrick, Rebel Fleet commander Admiral Raddus. General Crix Madine of the Rebel Alliance Special Forces and Chief of Rebel Intelligence General Airen Cracken. Mon Mothma was then told about their situation and She said, "I believe you all can serve the alliance gratefully."
They agreed, but Nagisa was still on the fence about it. As the others were getting their uniforms, Mon Mothma spoke to Nagisa and she said, "I am aware of your desire to go home Mr. Shiota. I too wish nothing but to be home with my family. However the Empire's actions have caused me to take action, to stand up for those who can't stand for themselves. Commander Isogai requested that anyone we find that he was with before he joined us be put under his command." Nagisa nodded his head and looked around before sighing and said, "I guess I have no choice. I'll join the rebellion." Mon Mothma smiled and thanked him for joining.
The next day, Nagisa walked out in his new Rebel alliance gear as Karma and Tomohito walked up to them with a familiar face for Nagisa. Nagisa smiled greatly and shouted, "MEG!" Meg smiled and the two shared a hug. Karma then said, "So Nagisa, Yuma told us we're going on a mission, supporters of the rebellion need supplies badly and our fleet's been tasked to go do it." Nagisa nodded his head and the four friends got on a transport to their ship called The Earth's deliverance.
As the days turned into weeks as Nagisa fought hard for the rebellion and while he looked, he was hoping to hear that Kayano was found, but he had no luck. But he also got in contact with his other friends from his class. He was happy, but he would be happier if Kayano was with them all. One day, he was doing a systems check in his X-Wing when Tomohito got close and said, "Dude we found her!" Nagisa looked at him and asked, "WHERE?!" Tomohito motioned him to follow and when they got inside the old temple, Mon Mothma was waiting there with a Bothan Spy.
"Ah Nagisa, this Bothan spy told us Kayano is on Lothal. We have a small team in the area if you wish for her to be brought here." Mon Mothma said to them. Nagisa nodded his head fast. Mothma nodded her head back and sent Hera a transmission. Nagisa got in his fighter as Tomohito got in his own X-Wing and they went on their Patrol. During the patrol, Nagisa's Astromech, G1-B3, told him that a ship was coming in and it had an Imperial signal. That was when they saw it, a T.I.E. Interceptor and it opened fire on them. Nagisa banked right while Tomohito banked left to avoid the incoming fire. The Interceptor was being piloted by Yoshida, they knew his flying style.
Nagisa had B3 contact command while he and Tomohito battled Yoshida. However Yoshida got the better of them and got behind Tomohito. AS Nagisa tried to save Tomohito, Yoshida struck his fighter's engines and Tomohito blew up. Nagisa was pissed and shot into the cockpit of Yoshida's fighter and destroyed him. That was when Yuma arrived with reinforcements and contacted Nagisa asking, "Nagisa we got the distress call, what happened?"
With tears in his eyes, Nagisa told his friends what happened to Tomohito and who did it. He then added, "I shot into the Fighter's cockpit and that Imp scumbag is dead." Yuma was silent before saying, "Understood, go to base Nagisa, Karma and Kimura will take over the patrol with some Y-wings too." Nagisa acknowledged Yuma and flew to the temple. On the surface, Nagisa was in the barracks when a girl in flight armor walked in and gasped before saying, "Nagisa?"
Nagisa looked up and his eyes widened. In front of him was a familiar girl with green hair and he said, "Kayano…" Kaede Kayano smiled and jumped into his arms crying tears of Joy as she said, "Nagisa… I am so happy you're here." Nagisa held her close as he sat down and said, "Kayano… we lost Tomohito." Kayano asked what happened and gasped as Nagisa told her Yoshida killed Tomohito. Nagisa then swore that he would find a way to help end the war quicker. That was a promise he made when Tomohito died, and it's a promise he plans on keeping.
