"And so our story begins. Albion is in ruins when the Monarch King Adam. The Hero of Brightwall was captured after the War in Samarkand, taken by the Corrupter forces, and killed, and a chain reaction began. Theresa knew a hero would be needed to defeat the Corrupter forces but did not foresee the evil that remained in the world. Her hopes to end evil once and for all could not come true, the evil was stronger than anyone could have imagined. The Nightmare was taking Albion for himself, even with the powers I had, I could not vanquish the evil or the forces he created. With the last of the Hero Bloodline lost forever, ended with Logan and Adam all hope seemed lost and our story begins with me. A Dweller made into a hero and then into a blind seer like my predecessor before me and even with the powers I gained in the years that passed I never foresaw this outcome and this story begins in a forest with me, running for my life, just like Theresa had so many centuries ago when my life was forever changed."

"Huff! Huff!" Gabriel panted holding his bleeding arm jumping over a fallen tree and took a quick glance back to see dark red corruption quickly following behind, "LIGHT!" he yelled throwing the spell watching it burn some of the corruption but not stopping it from chasing him.

"Come on!" Gabriel growled running on before seeing a pack of Corrupted Balveriens blocks his path, "get out of the way!"

One Balverine then roared and pounced at Gabriel who quickly used Force Push to slam it back, "Light!" Gabriel yelled burning off its corruption and forming a Shard spell in his hand, "SHARD!" he yelled sending shards stabbing into the Corrupted Balverine and destroying it in the process, making the others back off and allowing Gabriel to pass on.

"Gotta keep going!" Gabriel panted reaching a broken bridge and turned back to see the darkness approaching and looked around spotting a tree and ran towards it, "FORCE PUSH!" he yelled knocking it over and making a makeshift bridge that he quickly ran across.

Gabriel then tripped and end up rolling down the hill with a few grunts before quickly getting back to his feet and running towards the ruins of what was once Miremoor and collapsed in front of a Stonehenge where he quickly propped himself against the cold stone surface turning to see in the dark clouds beyond the forest red eyes began to appear.

"HAHAH! Nowhere to run now Seer," the Nightmare laughed in a mix of several voices.

"Damn you," Gabriel panted seeing five masks appear from within the Corruption the generals emerged the first being the leader of the Generals the Vexator who exited in a humanoid disguise form, his mask hidden under the mask.

"These games have dragged on long enough old man," the Vexator spoke holding out a clawed hand as threads began to move towards Gabriel.

From the Corruption another of the Generals emerged this one being the Graidicator who resembled a hooded masked executioner, "hand over the heart of the Spire blind one, our master grows tired of these games, as do we, look around, Albion belongs to us, surrender and die with some honor."

"You're wrong," Gabriel said with a smirk, "as long as we believe there will always be hope."

"Hope? Have you not seen your current situation, old man? You're outnumbered, Albion belongs to the Nightmare now," the Vexator spoke pointing his strings that made their way to Gabriel's body.

"Well then, take a good look around then gents, your future is about to change," Gabriel smirked touching his hand on the Stonehenge, the stone reacted to his touch creating blue will marking on it and the arch glowed creating a gateway that Gabriel quickly jumped in before the gate closed behind him.

Fable III-2: The Retold Journey

"Fix the chains that were once shattered. Correct what was wronged and restore what was stolen before time runs out. The road to redemption has begun; the Race to save Albion's Future has begun."

Chapter One: To Save a Future

"AHHH!" Gabriel screamed as doors in a room in the Sanctuary blew open and Gabriel flew out and hit the ground with a loud thud, "OOOF! Ow...well not one of my better landings but can't complain about the fact that I'm alive."

Upon looking up Gabriel looked to see Jasper also in the room with a duster in his hand and wide eyes.

"...uh hi there?" Gabriel said grunted pushing himself off the floor watching a frozen Jasper drop the duster to the ground.

"You're hurt! My goodness! I knew this room was rumored to lead to other Universes but never did I imagine others could use it to enter here!" Jasper said rushing over.

"Give me a second," Gabriel said concentrating and feeling the threads of the past, present, and future come to him again, "you're Jasper, right?"

"Why yes...how did you know? Have we met before?" Jasper asked curious who this strange man with a bandage wrapped around his eyes was.

"I don't have a lot of time to give a full explanation," Gabriel said concentrating to heal his arm slowly.

"Will? Those gauntlets they look like...well the King wore some like those" Jasper said sadly.

"King Adam. He's part of the reason why I came to this exact point in our timeline" Gabriel explained with his arm almost healed up.

"Time? You're from the future? How is that possible? Will can only slow time not rewind it to certain points," Jasper asked.

"Well yes that is true Jasper, there are a few exceptions to this, let's say I exploited a loophole, I didn't have much of a choice. When Adam was taken the Hero bloodline died out with him, Theresa recruited me and made me a hero the Darkness that took your king during the war but that was just the start of something, evil will come this way. The war is still ongoing, yes?"

"Indeed, most of the King's allies have returned to rally and prepare an army to rescue the King as we speak. Our poor queen has never given up hope," Jasper explained sadden for Anna.

"Now that I am here, I must change the future. Albion fate lies in the last of the hero's bloodline, the Bloodline of William Black," Gabriel spoke taking a seat.

"What will you do?" Jasper asked watching the man start to think.

"Adam and Anna never had kids before his capture that is part of the reason why the bloodline died out the other is because of Logan, he never married or fathered children," Gabriel spoke thinking of a way to kill two birds with one stone.

"Logan? No one seen or heard from him in years" Jasper explained having not seen Logan since Adam's Wedding.

"I'll find him. He will be the key to rescuing your King and saving the future. Take me to the castle and summon all of King Adam's allies they all need to help, otherwise Albion future will be dark," Gabriel spoke looking up to Jasper.

Later that day Gabriel entered Bowerstone Castle looking around at the things that changed since the Crawler's defeat before hearing doors open and looking upstairs to see the Queen, Annabel coming down the stairs in a Queen's attire.

Her eyes gestured she hadn't slept well and behind her was her father August much older with more gray hairs.

"Jasper, what is the meaning of this? Who is this man? Why have you summoned me?" Anna asked approaching with a newfound regal presence, having been ruling in her husband's place.

"My queen, this man appeared in... ahem 'that' room in the Sanctuary," Jasper said as Anna looked at Gabriel and waved her hand in front of his face seeing the blindfold that Gabriel wore over his eyes.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Queen Annabel," Gabriel bowed respectfully, "my name is Gabriel, I come from a dark future."

"Dark huh? We have dark times here we're dealing with at present," Anna sighed rubbing her eye.

"Your Majesty, what if I said I had a solution that would not only rescue your King and also save Samarkand from its current tyrant ruler?" Gabriel spoke seeing Anna narrow her eyes at him.

"I would say you better be speaking the truth unless you want me to break your skull, I do not have time to listen to more false hope and lies in futile attempts to manipulate me!" Anna growled relaxing when her father touched her shoulder.

"Please Anna, let's hear him out, I doubt this man will try a coup like Reaver failed to," August spoke softly.

"You are Queen Annabel, your mother is Hammer also known as Hannah the Hero of Strength who aided King Sparrow in his quest to take down Lucien. You lived at the Warrior Monk Temple for 18 years before you left with your father August to aid King Adam in his journey to overthrow King Logan. You have a mole on your lower back that Adam thinks is cute. You also hadn't slept well since he's been taken. You were born during the winter and your mother almost killed your father because of the labor," Gabriel spoke using the threads of the past to gather what he would need to know to convince Anna.

"...bloody hell! Where did you get all that information?!" August spoke a little impressed by his knowledge.

"In my future, I'm a seer like Theresa, I can see the threads in this time and they show me everything, even things Theresa can't see," Gabriel explained.

"Okay you got my attention, speak," Anna spoke crossing her arms.

"I have a way that might help us rescue Adam before it's too late," Gabriel explained.

"Might?" Anna was skeptical about the words the blind seer spoke.

"I say 'might' because this requires the full cooperation of all the people who aided Adam to gain control of the throne. You see the only way to save Adam is to send a hero with his bloodline to bring Adam from the darkness he is being held in," Gabriel explained.

"But there are no others, Adam the only Hero," August spoke seeing Gabriel smile.

"Actually, there is one, we need to make Logan a hero" Gabriel explained seeing Anna scoff at the idea.

"You have got to be bloody kidding?" Anna growled.

"Logan? No one's seen him in years! Not to mention all of Albion still wants him dead," August sighed rubbing his temple, "Albion people have not forgiven him for his actions when he sat on the throne."

"What happened in the past is the past. The future is what is important; the blood that runs through Adam runs in his older brother too. With Adam, he showed the spark to be a hero at birth but Logan still lies dormant, waiting to be awakened. With training he can be ready to get his brother out of his prison before he dies" Gabriel spoke looking into the future of the current timeline to see how much time the Hero King had.

"Dies?! What do you mean?! How long does he have?!" Anna spoke grabbing Gabriel by the collar and lifting him off the ground.

'Bloody hell, no question she is the Hero of Strength daughter,' he thought before clearing his throat, "His Majesty King Adam is very strong your Highness. I would give him ten more years before the Darkness drains him of his life force."

"What exactly do you want to do with Logan? How can Logan save the Hero King?" August asked knowing better than to try and stop his daughter.

"We must show him the path of a hero," Gabriel smiled.

"The path? Like Mine and Adam's was laid out by Theresa?" Anna asked setting the seer down.

"Exactly, Sparrow left something for Logan too, he loved both his sons and he knew Logan would be needed when his little brother fell into danger. I will show Logan the path and from there all of you must help, some of you still have grudges but if all goes right Logan will redeem himself and save the citizens of Albion in the future along with bringing the king back to the throne and continuing the bloodline."

"You make it sound easy. You're never going to get Logan to help" August sighed.

"I hate to agree but Logan is beyond lost. Being hated by all of Albion he's gone into hiding, I don't think he'd be willing to come out to follow the footsteps his father left for his brother," Jasper said sadden for Logan who was set up to fail.

"I truly believe there is a way," Gabriel reassured with a soft smile.

"How are you so confident? Do you see a future where we can save Adam?" Anna asked.

"I see many outcomes, bad and good but I believe I can save Albion future and this past," Gabriel explained truthfully.

"Theresa should have taken a few notes from you," August muttered.

"Theresa's heart was in the right place. Even Seers don't know the outcome of everything, she just wanted to end evil forever and prevent others from suffering the way she did. Don't blame her she suffered close to 700 years with the pain and burdens she caused."

"I can't really be sympathetic for her, she manipulated the situation with Logan and Adam, she could have easily shown Logan King Sparrow hidden Treasure, she pulled the strings in favor of Adam, she hurt Logan and Adam, I'm willing to bet gold she also manipulated the events with their father as well," August spoke crossing his arms.

With a soft breath Anna closed her eyes, "Okay Gabriel, I will help. Just tell me what you want me to do."

"How did your and Adam's journey start? The answer is quests; little quests to big quests to train and prepare him. He needs to help the citizens of Albion again and feel the light in his heart again. The road will be long and very difficult I can promise you that but given time Logan will be ready to lead Albion forces into Samarkand and rescue the King," Gabriel explained.

"So, you want me to back off quests?" Anna asked having neglected the quests since Adam's disappearance.

"You have been slacking already Anna," August said as Anna glared at him making him hold up his hands, "it's not your fault! You have been trying to rally Albion."

"Every one of your allies has trials you can place him in, Kalin, Sabine, Page, Garth, and Ben. You will all come up with something in due time but for now, I will leave you to tell the others of my intentions. I will find Logan and set him on his path."

"Very well Gabriel, however, I can promise you some of them are going to hate this plan, some haven't forgiven or forgotten the past," Anna sighed.

"I expect them to but you will see the outcome if all goes right" Gabriel nodded before disappearing in a beam of light.

Gabriel then appeared inside the Spire and looked ahead to see Theresa with her back to him in the center.

"What brought you here Gabriel? Come to ask me to leave you be in the future?" she asked turning to him.

"If things go as I hope the bloodline will live on but I still want you to go to me and tell the other me everything you told me, lead me on my path the same and never speak of this encounter" Gabriel explained.

"If you succeed the future can be spared but there is a price that must be paid. If you restore the bloodline before Adam destined death the Corrupters will still come."

"I am aware of what happens. When I succeed here, I want you to do what you had planned for me 50 years from now. The future you can't see that I've seen needs the Bloodline I am following my Destiny."

"Very well Gabriel," Theresa nodded, "how is it that you came to this point? In order to travel to points in time, you have to leave your body behind and have a body waiting at the destined location, you do not exist in this present."

"You shouldn't ask questions that could alter the events that need to happen," Gabriel spoke feeling his heartbeat and the Heart of the spire pulse in perfect sync.

"I see, so that's how you did it," Theresa spoke turning around, "I will carry on with my destined future, goodbye Gabriel."

"Goodbye Theresa," Gabriel spoke closing his eyes to locate Logan before vanishing.

At the Castle!

"Are you bloody mad?! You can't honestly believe this old git insane blabbering do ya?!" Ben yelled slamming a fist on a table.

"Forgive him for his outburst your majesty but I'm afraid I have to agree with his rude response. This does seem a bit...risky" Page explained hearing Sabine spit.

"Risky?! Bloody insane indeed! If Logan even sets foot near me, I will slaughter him! Right Boulder?" Sabine spoke looking at the giant who was distracted with a suit of armor.

"Er...?" Boulder grunted almost knocking the armor over.

"Every person deserves a second chance. Logan made mistakes like any living soul, I am willing to allow him to redeem himself but I will not entrust my people's lives in his hands again," Kalin explained looking to Anna who sat at the end of the dining table.

"It's not my place to judge his actions, however, if he is truly the Hero King brother then he could be what we need to save our King and free my home," a graying Garth spoke.

"Oi! Why are you all sitting here sucking your thumbs?! You want to rescue the King; I don't see any of you Hobbe Knockers coming up with a good rescue plan!" Ginjer spoke sitting on a ledge above.

"Remind me to kill that thing" Page sighed rubbing her temple.

"Everyone please!" Anna spoke calming her friends, "Adam is important to all of us and the future needs him to live on, if Logan truly is the key to save him then I will be damn if I let anything stop me from seeing my husband again!" Anna yelled slamming her fist on the table splitting it in half making some of her allies flinch.

Xander then whined and rested his head on Anna's lap, letting out a sad sigh as she petted his head.

"You miss him as much as I do, don't you boy?" Anna asked hearing the dog whine again.

A soft voice then drew their attention to the open doors to the courtyard where the dragon Percy peered in, "I can sense his will still holding out, the Empress is trying to break him but I fear even a hero will even lose his strength."

"Okay, I will give him a few tests when I see him again. People down in Albion still need help, that darkness that plagued Samarkand has found its way here, the people lost hope, when Adam was taken Albion faith in heroes was taken along with him," Page agreed reaching over and taking Anna's hand smiling softly.

"As much as I hate to admit it, Page right, Albion needs a Hero not only to cast away the Darkness here but to spark that light so we can return to Samarkand and save Adam," Ben spoke approaching Anna and placing a hand on her shoulder in comfort.

"If Logan can truly cast away the Darkness, then I will gladly follow that stuck-up bastard back into the glorious fires of war," Sabine spoke for his queen's sake.

"It's what needs to be done, Logan needs to first display himself and push the darkness back that has followed us here, then he must rally all of Albion and Aurora to Samarkand to vanquish that darkness once and for all," Garth spoke.

"Thank you, everyone, I pray this Gabriel can really make a hero out of Logan" Anna spoke looking out the window where Walter's statue stood proudly.
