Last time(Ice Dragon slayer: Chapter 1[2nd version]):

"Woah..." Setasuke glances at how huge it is, "What is this place?"

"This is the guildhall for the guild name, Arkobolos." The man reveals.

"Arkobolos..." Setasuke utters the name, seeing that he might find his answers here.

Present:

Walking into the guildhall led by the black suited man, Setasuke looks around his surroundings to see it was pretty lively in here, but there was only about 6 people here.

"For a guild, there's not much people here." He said.

"That's because most of them are out on jobs and won't be back to either later this even or tomorrow." Raburn replies, "There's way more guild members than what you see now."

"Hey master, you're back." A member notices.

"Yep. My little outing went fine." He replies.

"Master?" Setasuke narrows, not expecting a guild to have one.

A few guild members noticed Setasuke and gave him glances, which he ignored.

"Correct. I am Raburn, the master of this guild." He introduces, "What's yours?"

The ice boys speaks in reply, "Setasuke Ryuta."

"Setasuke Ryuta? It's nice to meet you." Raburn smiles, "You'd fit in perfectly with everyone else here in Arkobolos."

"Why's that?" The boy asks, narrowing a little.

"Because this whole guild is filled with only Slayers." Raburn reveals, with a finger point up and smirks proudly at that.

"Wait... are you serious?!" This totally surprises the Ice boy, like dramatically shocked.

"I knew you'd have that reaction, ha ha!" Raburn cracks a laugh, "Everyone who joined had the same reaction and it never gets old." He continues laughing, which Setasuke scoffs away in a small blush of embarrassment.

"Oi! Master." Came the voice of a young boy with light-orange hair that for some reason, has only his shirt off and sweating non-stop.

"Ah, Limmjow, you're done with your little workout already?" Raburn greets sarcastically.

"I am, and it's not "little"." Limmjow pouted with arms crossed, which Rayburn finds too amusing.

The shirtless boy notices Setasuke next to the master and question, "Who's this new kid, master?"

"This is Setasuke Ryuta. I just met him before coming back here." He replies while glancing down at the Ice boy.

"If he's another member of the crew, then he better not be a weakling." Limmjow smirks.

Getting a tick mark, Setasuke knew that he wasn't going to like this boy and replies in annoyance, "First off, never said I was gonna join, and two, you don't look that strong in the slightest so go take a shower somewhere. You reek."

"What was that?" The former gets mad.

"You heard me, you reek and you don't look that powerful at all." Setasuke remarks.

"Okay, that's it!" Limmjow begins gathering magic in his hand, "Fire Devil's: Fist!" He forms fire that looks to be purple in right hand and goes to attack Setasuke , but the Ice slayer easily side steps, much to Limmjow's surprise, but he doesn't have anytime to process the rest as he's punched in the face from a right hook and is sent flying to the ground.

The few other members of the guild turn to the commotion and are surprised to see Limmjow on the ground and turn to see how that happened, which leads them to their answer as it was Setasuke who punched due to his right arm being extended, "Oh great, we got another powerhouse in the guild." One of the them whispered simultaneously, but was impressed by Setasuke 's strength, even Raburn.

"What the...?!" Limmjow slowly sits up in a stunned expression, seeing Setasuke's glare at him, "Damn you..." He sneers.

"Alright, that'll be enough for now." Raburn calmly holds his hand in a halt sign.

"But master, he-" Limmjow tries arguing but,

"It's only fair since you started the commotion, limmjow." Raburn replies, "Plus, he's a new member of the guild starting today."

"Wait! Hold on, back on topic!" Setasuke shakes his head dramatically and back to what he said before, "I have no interest in joining a guild right now. Besides, I still need to find Icigoneal."

"As I said before, don't be anxious and with help it'll be easier to find him." Raburn reminds, "There are other sources to finding him, for example, taking on missions where someone might mention a dragon."

Setasuke thinks about it for a few seconds because Raburn did have a good point. He then replies, "Okay... I'll take it easy on being anxious and join the guild, but this better work."

"Perfect, come this way." Raburn leads the way.

"Geez, he did a number on you, didn't he? Limmjow." A kid with green eyes and messy dark-brown hair stands next and over Limmjow, with a taunting smirk too, "That's what you get for throwing the first blow in picking a fight."

"Tch! Shut up, Jetoal." Limmjow scoffs, getting up and glares at Setasuke walking with the master, muttering, "This isn't over." He swears to it.

"Yeah, we'll see about that." Jetoal states with taunting doubt before walking away.

Going to the left side of the bar, Setasuke notices that there are a few children, almost his age, here as well. His eyes then locked with a light-red haired girl, who was sitting at the bar a meter further, looked at him curiously, with a small blush.

His attention was brought back when the Stamp staff asked him, "What color and where do you want your guild mark?"

"Put it on the left shoulder, and black will be the color." Setasuke replies, which the stamp staff proceeds to stamp the mark on his shoulder, the cloud symbol.

"There we go, with that said, you're now part of this guild. Welcome again." Raburn introduces him in.

"Yeah, thanks." Setasuke replies, not caring that much, but proceeds to ask, "That guy that I punched before... he uses Fire Devil Magic. What's that?"

"That's an attribute for Devil Slayer magic." Raburn explains.

"Devil Slayer magic? Never heard of that." The ice slayer narrows a brow in surprise, first time hearing of that, "I thought there were only dragon slayers here when you said this was a slayer-only guild."

"Actually, you're the first dragon slayer to join the guild." Raburn said, surprising Setasuke, "And there's a few people here with two mores attributes, Phoenix Slayer Magic and God Slayer magic."

"Wow..." Setasuke opens his mouth in surprise, these new attributes are starting to interest him a little.

"God Slayer, Phoenix Slayer magics are Caster-types in ancient spell and lost magic." Rayburn explains, "Similar to how Dragon slayers gain Dragon magic? God slayers attain God magic and Devil slayers attain Devil magic and only slay their respective attributes."

"Woah... this should be on hell of a guild then." Setasuke glances around to everyone else.

"You're right on the mark. Feel free to go around and meet your new guild mates." Raburn recommends, "I got some things to take care of." He walks off after grabbing his waistcoat.

Shortly after his new master walks off, Setasuke remains at the bar since there's really nothing much to do around here. This is when the girl from the far side of the bar approaches and sits next to him.

"Hello, I'm Illyana Kotass. But you can call me Illa." She introduces in very friendly tone and smiles, "You're Setasuke, right? The first dragon slayer to join our guild? You're strong for sending Limmjow flying back like that. He's one of the strongest kid's here."

"Yeah..." Setasuke replies, not that much interest in conversating to be honest, "But I knew he wasn't that strong."

Illyana notices and smiles, "Not use to talking much, huh?"

"Well... aside from talking with Icigoneal, a dragon. No, not really." Setasuke replies, before curiously asking her, "What type of slayer are you? I mean, this is a slayer-only guild."

Illyana smiles widely this time, "It is and I'm a Devil slayer too!" She reveals.

Setasuke's eyes widen a little, He just got into the guild and he already meets another devil slayer, "Seriously? Then what magic do you use?"

"Night Devil Slayer Magic." She answered with a wide grin.

"The Night, huh? That's a rare form of slayer magic." Setasuke said, somewhat surprised.

"I know, everyone here says that." Illyana replies, not bothered in the slightest.

"Hmm... so does this mean you get more stronger when it's dark out?" He asks.

"Yes! It also goes for shadows and when a place or room doesn't have light." She adds.

Setasuke slightly narrows in a little amazement before his stomach growls. He pats it and says, "I forgot that I was hungry before coming here."

"Hold on, I'll make you something real quick." Illyana jumps down from her chair.

"Wait, but I don't have any money on though." Setasuke said with a hand out.

"You're a member of the guild now, you don't have to pay at all, it's free!" Illyana smiles widely.

"Wow, that's a relief." Setasuke sighs and gives her a slight smile, "Thank you."

"No problem." Illyana nods and proceeds in the kitchen to make him a plate of Spaghetti and a glass of Grape juice, coming out of the kitchen and sets it in front of him, "Here you go. Enjoy."

Setasuke thanks her and proceeds to pick up his fork to get to eating his meal, and after taking a slurp of the spaghetti, "Woah... this is good!"

Hearing this makes Illyana blush a little, "G-Glad you like it!" She nods and smiles.

He finishes the rest of the sauced pasta in quick past, clearing the plate completely, "That hit the spot." He sighs, after setting the fork down in satisfactory before drinking the last of his Grape juice and even crunches on the Ice inside the glass cup, "The ice tastes fine too."

"Wow, usually ice is only meant for sucking... but you're biting into them like it's nothing." Illyana notices in slight surprise.

"Because I'm a Ice Dragon Slayer." He reveals, before munching on the last ice cube.

"Wow! That explains a lot." She widens her eyes in surprise, "So the dragon you mentioned before is a Ice Dragon?" She asks, which he slightly nods while chewing and finishing the last cube.

"Ah, thanks for the meal." Setasuke says in gratitude before looking around atmosphere, "What to do next?"

"How about I give you tour the around guildhall?" She offers.

"Sure, let's do it." He nods and accepts.

"Hey." They turn around to see Limmjow walk up to them, along Jetoal.

"Oh, it's you." Setasuke doesn't sound pleased to see the orange haired fire slayer and only gives off a glare.

"Hey there, new guy. I'm Jetoal Hazeki, the Wood Devil slayer." He introduces with a smile hand wave and enthusiastic grin, "I'm already starting to like you after that nice right hook you gave Limmjow." He teases at the latter, who really starts getting annoyed with Jeotal.

"Um thanks... and it wasn't a problem at all." Setasuke states, with a frowned sweat-drop after that weird comment with the "like you" part, but surprised he now meets 3 Devil slayers.

"No problem? You may be in this guild now, but don't think for one second you're stronger than me after that one punch." Limmjow madly points at him, "And humiliating me in front of the master was uncalled for."

"Uncalled for? You're the one who started it Limmjow." Illyana berates him, "You can't complain about being retaliated back at."

"Tsk..." He looks away, mad.

"I told him that earlier, but the fool wouldn't listen." Jetaol shrugs in a sigh.

"Shut it!" Limmjow points dramatically at him, before facing back at Setasuke, "I haven't accepted you yet either so don't get the wrong idea."

"Limmjow-" Illyana was gonna defend again, but Setasuke puts an arm in front of her and handles this himself, "Are you done being all-talk yet?"

"Huh?" Limmjow asks confusingly and insulted.

"When I sent you flying, I didn't need my magic at all, while you used yours to try and see if you could stand a chance, but you failed miserably." Setasuke states with a frown, stating the truth, "Do the math. It's safe to say I'm stronger than you, and..." He smirks as he adds to this, "It's not even close."

This really sets Limmjow off, getting a fired up tire make and now angry, "Why you...!"

"Uh-oh." Jetoal utters in whisper to Illyana.

"I already sense a fight coming." She mutters back.

As Setasuke jumps down from his chair to face off at Limmjow, "Now, now there." Comes from a tall individual who looks to be in his early teens. He appears to have a calm smile and states to the too, "How about we stop it here and call it a night?"

"Katuro-san?" Illyana says.

"Who?" Setasuke asks and turns toward the tall teen.

"Oh yeah, we haven't met yet. You're our new guildmate, Setasuke Ryuta, right? I'm Katuro Saiba, the Spirit God Slayer. He introduces with a smile, "Great to have you."

"Yeah thanks." Setasuke replies with only a nod, on top of that, "You're the first God Slayer I met all day."

"Heh, yeah." He chuckles, "And don't mind Limmjow here." Katuro pats the light-orange haired boy's head in a playful fashion, "This isn't the first time he gets into fights with new guild members. It's just so he can get use to them."

"You're wrong this time, so guess again." Limmjow scoffs and still gives a glare off to Setasuke with a point toward him, "I'll get you back for that humiliation earlier." He states as a final warning before walking away out of the guildhall.

"Hmph, whatever." Setasuke scoffs.

"Off he goes, always having that heated temper like his slayer element." Katuro laughs a bit in teasing.

"No shit." Jeotal snickers.

"Don't you guys ever get tired of antagonizing him?" Illyana asks, sweat-drops while at it.

"Nope, it's too fun." Jetoal laughs, while Katuro snickers with a hand over his mouth.

Setasuke gets a little tired at here this yapping, letting out a yawn, getting their glance's attention.

"You must be tired after having a long day." Illyana notices.

"All right, it's official newbie, you'll receive a room by the time we get back to the Guy's dormitory." Katuro said.

"Just like that?" Setasuke asks, a little surprised, "I don't hav ego go through any sort of completion form or anything."

"Nope, nothing of that sort now that you're our new guild mate." Jetaol smiles.

"Remember? You're our comrade now and you won't have to pay for anything." Illyana smiles with a small blush.

"..." Setasuke glances in being a little taken back by the warm welcomes he's receiving, and he's starting to get use to it. He replies with simple gratitude, "Thanks, I might start to feel at home here." He lets out a small smile, with the three looking on in being happy for him.

With that said, after leaving the guild hall to the guild's dormitory, Katuro shows Setasuke his new room, where he sets his things down and really starts to feel at home.

Next Day:

Setasuke steps around the guildhall, with Katuro, Limmjow, and Jetoal brining there already and doing their own thing.

"What to do?" Setasuke mutters to himself, looking at the Job request board.

"Looking for a job?" Illyana comes over.

"Honestly... I don't know." He replies honestly.

"Then, perhaps... you can take one with me?" She asks, picking a lower ranked job, while turning away a little in a small blush.

"I can? Well... I got nothing to do." Setasuke thinks about it and makes his mind up and replies, "Alright, sure." He accepts, much to her delight.

The Job Request:

Defeat a humongous Bear that is terrorizing a town! Please defeat it so we can travel out in the open freely.

Location: Neview

Reward: 5,000 Jewels.

"This doesn't seem bad at all." Setasuke approves after reading it, "Let's go."

"Great! We're off then!" Illyana said before telling Katuro that they'll be on a mission, which he would inform Raburn, which expresses a little surprise at Setasuke going out so soon on a job request without letting him know first.

The young slayers ask a couple for people on where Neview could be located. One tells them the direction on how to get there and Illyana thanks them before the two left. After 38 minutes of walking, they reach Neview.

"Excuse us. Have you seen any large bears around here?" Illyana asks one of the townspeople, showing them the request. The townsperson recognizes it and takes illyana and Setasuke to the Mayor's house immediately. By the time they get their, the Mayor comes out wearing a gray tuxedo.

"I am Mayor Tenta! Welcome to Neview!" He welcomes the kids, as the townspeople surround them.

"Hi, I'm Illyana Kotass." She introduces herself.

"Setasuke Ryuta." He introduces simply with hands in pockets.

"We're mages from the Arkobolos guild." Illyana adds.

Everyone gasps, surprised that these kids are in a guild, "Give us some room will ya? It's uncomfortable." Setasuke tells them with an annoyed expression.

"Sorry about that." Tenta apologizes for them and asks, "Will you two really defeat the bear?"

"Yea, we will." Illyana nods/smiles.

The two are lead to the town's forest and where the large bear appears and roads loudly at the small slayers.

"There it is." Illyana points out.

However, they aren't greeted nicely as the bear charges forward at them, "And here it comes." Setasuke gets ready.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of this!" Illyana gets in a stance and begins charging magic that's of night aura in her right hand, while the Ice slayer watches in a little surprise before she attacks, "Night Devil's: Hollow!" She creates some spiraling night energy around her hand and throws it at the bear, the impact causes a small blast and sends it rearing back, "That... outta do it." She powers down.

However, the bear isn't down and gets up to charge at them again.

"No way?!" Illyana exclaims, stunned a little.

"..." Setasuke isn't fazed and simply prepares his iced attack, "This is how he'll be out down!" He jumps at him, "Ice Dragon's: Diamond Fist!" His blow connects to the bear's square face, making it groan in a growl and slumps to the ground, unconscious.

"Wow..." Illyana utters with a surprised look.

"Too easy." Setasuke said, making the crowd cheer at their success.

Mayor Tenta hands him the 5,000 Jewels and happily thanks them before they leave Neview.

While on the road, "Setasuke..." Illyana utters, getting his attention, "That attack was amazing back there."

"He replies as they continue walking, "I've taken down giant boars and trained with Icigoneal, a dragon. So that bear was nothing." He adds, and now she understands why he's strong in amazement, "That Night devil attack back there wasn't bad either, just a bit more power into it and that bear would have been down in one blow."

She blushes a little bit upon the small encouragement and nods, "Right..."

After 35 minutes, they get back to Catafalco and go to the guild hall, walking to where Master Raburn is at the bar, "Welcome back you two." He greets, "How did the job go?"

"It was great!" Illyana said.

"And easy." Setasuke shrugs with hands in pockets.

"You guys should let me know before hand, since you're still kids that is." Raburn said, with a chuckle.

"Right." He nods, so does. illyana, "At least now I'll be going on jobs from here on out to make some money."

This is where Setasuke's journey begins with the Slayer guild.

With that said, the Arkobolos spin-off begins, the origin story of Setasuke and the other guild members before the main series. Also, Ice Dragon Slayer(2nd version), won't be updated till this 10 chapter spin-off is done. As for the people with OC requests, you can definitely expect to see them here as we progress and it'll be fun.
