Authors Note.

Im sorry for such the long break. I had just burnt myself out on this story.

But im back now hope you enjoy the chapter.

Asya looked at the wreckage as the people of SHIELD removed Captain America from the ruins.

"You okay?" Wanda asked, slipping her hand into Asya's.

"The Tesseract isn't here. It should be here." Asya replied, doing her best to keep her temper.

"We will find it," Wanda said, trying to reassure Asya.

Asya looked out into the crowd before seeing the man in charge. Some suit that showed up a few hours ago looking very excited.

Asya walked over to him, with Wanda following after her.

"Ring me the moment he wakes up," Asya said to the man.

"He will need some time to get his bearings. It will be a shock for him to wake up 68 years later." the man replied stoically.

"I don't care the moment he wakes up and has calmed down. I want to know immediately," Asya said as calmly as she could.

Asya didn't wait for the agent's reply before she turned around and slipped on the Sling Ring and opened a Portal to Kamar-Taj, and walked through it with Wanda letting it close behind her.

She would have said goodbye to her sister, but she had left a few hours after the rest of SHIELD had turned up.

After all, Natasha was a spy, not a rescue worker, so there wasn't any reason for her to stay there.

"So, do we wait now?" Wanda asked.

"Yes, I don't think it will be much longer than a month. In that time, we learn as much magic as possible and become as strong as we can.

The last few fights that we have had did not go our way." Asya said, remembering her fight with Herpo.

"Oh boy, I love stumbling around in the dark," Wanda said begrudgingly.

Asya felt her lip twitch at Wanda's comment, but she also knew where Wanda was coming from. Since her magic came from being a witch, she couldn't learn the Magic of the Mystic Arts.

And although Asya had written out all the spells, she knew the truth was apart for a select few of them. Most of the spells were very weak, at least compared to the Mystic Arts.

Or at least for combat, they were. In utility, nothing could match the charms, runes and wards that Asya knew. The Mystic Arts didn't even have many healing spells.

They may work wonders on humans, but what about when they were aliens or other powerful magic users? What good would the stunning charm be, then?

Even she had stopped using them in combat.

After all, Herpo was able to swat away her banishing charm, and the lightning spell wasn't a low-ranking spell and was like all powerful spells dangerous for the caster to use.

Wanda was able to create lightning, but it wasn't very powerful at the moment.

"Practice with the lightning spell. Maybe see if you can perform the firestorm spell and see if you can alter it to make the fire hotter?" Asya suggested.

"What are you going to be practising?"

"I want to see if I can gain anything from the Time Stone, and then I will try and see if I can infuse my magic with the energy from the Death Stone," Asya replied.

The powers of the Infinity stones were the strongest powers in the universe, after all. Asya hoped to learn about time magic by studying the Time stone.

As for the Death Stone, it had shown on a few occasions that it was very powerful, even scaring off Herpo the Foul.

The problem was she had to summon the stone every time she wanted to use its powers, costing her time, and she could only shoot beams of power out of the stone.

Asya didn't believe that she had to summon the stone in order to use its power. She also wanted to find a way to blend the energy of the Death Stone into her normal spells as well.

Asya walked into the main room of the Sanctum, which had a magic projection that showed the status of the shield that was covering the Earth as well as indicating if there was any large magical disturbance.

Ignoring the display, Asya walked into one of the side rooms. There on the pedestal was a metal eye that Asya picked up before walking and sitting down on the floor.

"I will practice outside. See you in a bit," Wanda said, leaning down for a kiss that Asya happily complied with before she left the room.

Asya took a deep breath before she opened the Eye of Agamotto. A green light filled the room as the energy from the stone flowed through her body, sending a tremor through her body.

It was strange that the energy of the Time Stone was both familiar and strange to her. At its core, it was somewhat the same as the Death Stone but lacked the feeling of death that made her body feel ice cold.

Asya started to rewind and forward time in a very small area, hoping to feel the mysteries of time. As the hours passed by, Asya didn't even notice until Wanda entered the room.

"How long has it been?" Asya asked, looking up at Wanda.

"You have been practising for 13 hours," Wanda said, looking a little worried.

"Okay, shall we go get some food?" Asya said as she closed the Eye of Agamotto and stood up.

"The Ancient One wanted to talk to you when you were done."

Asya wasn't sure if she should be surprised. The Ancient One no doubt knew she was using the Time stone and hadn't come to warn her not to use it, so Asya didn't think she wanted to talk about that.

Okay, let's go," Asya said, walking back over to the stand, placing the Eye of Agamotto back, and leaving the room holding Wanda's hand.

They both walked towards the main room bumping shoulders before she saw the situation in the main room.

The Ancient One was there, but surprisingly so was all the Master of the Mystic Arts, even the three people that were in charge of the other sanctums.

Asya frowned at the situation. "Ancient One," Asya said, bowing to her.

"You have been using the Eye of Agamotto all day," Master Mordo said accusingly.

Asya looked over at Master Mordo as the Ancient One just sipped her tea.

"Yes and?" Asya asked, looking at Mordo.

"Playing with time is dangerous and goes against the Natural Law," Mordo said as if she was already guilty of a crime.

"There is no rule against using the Eye of Agamotto," Asya simply replied back before ignoring him.

"You are correct, but some of us are worried about it being used," Master Tina said in a more gentle voice, free of accusation in her voice.

"I am aware of the danger that comes with manipulating time. I wasn't doing anything large scale, just slightly slowing down time around me," Asya responded.

"Is that everything, Ancient One?" Asya asked, annoyed that the other masters of the Mystic Arts were questioning her.

Asya saw her lip twitch at her question. "Yes, that is all. If you need some help, my door is always open," the Ancient One said before any of the masters could comment, and Asya grabbed Wanda's hand, leaving the room.

"Ancient One?" Mordo asked, looking at the Ancient One in confusion.

"Yes, Master Mordo?" the Ancient One asked.

"The Eye of Agamotto is a forbidden artefact that is very dangerous, There is a reason only the sorcerer supreme uses it," Mordo stated.

"There is no danger in Asya using it," the Ancient One reassured the group of masters.

"If you say so, then we have no problem with it," Master Tina said, bowing to the Ancient One.

The Ancient One gave another look at Mordo before she dismissed the masters in the room and went back to drinking her tea and thinking.

"Where are we going first?" Wanda asked as they left Kamar-Taj.

"It's been over a year since we last saw your mom and brother?" Asya suggested to Wanda.

"Yes, let's go," Wanda said excitedly and started to pull Asya down the street.

Wanda let go of Asya's hand before opening the door and shouting out. "Mom? Brother?"

"Wanda?" a surprised voice asked back before an older woman walked into the room, looking shocked to see Wanda and Asya.

After a few seconds of being shocked, she ran over and pulled Wanda into a big hug making Asya smile at them both. But she felt a small amount of envy as well. After all, she had never had someone hug her like that.

Asya just smiled and walked over to her and Wanda's room and took a seat on the bed before laying back and closing her eyes.

She had many thoughts running through her head and needed some personal time to sort them all out. Her first and most important thought was her younger sister.

Asya was completely lost on what to do. She knew that she couldn't really use the Time Stone to go back over ten years. She wasn't sure if the rules of time travel from her original world applied to this world.

She could only wait for Captain America to wake up and hopefully be able to tell her where to find the Tesseract or ask Professor X to use his power to search for her mind.

She didn't really have much faith in either of those two options. If the Tesseract wasn't with the Captain, then it was most likely at the bottom of the ocean.

From what she knew of Professor X, he wouldn't violate the minds of billions unless he really needed to.

Then there was the problem of how to get stronger. Asya knew that she and Wanda were already more powerful than 99% of the people on Earth, and the ones that could actually fight them were other masters of the Mystic Arts.

There was no way that she and Wanda could fight their allies in life-and-death battles. She would have to ask the Ancient One for advice on where they could find enemies to fight with.

There were all kinds of beings in the universe. Asya was sure that the Ancient One would be able to give her pointers on where to look. Asya took a seat on the bed before closing her eyes and focusing on the Death Stone.

Asya wasn't sure how much time had passed before she opened her eyes to see that, at some point, Wanda had come into the room and was sleeping on the bed.

Asya let out a yawn and walked over to the bed and crawled onto the bed, being careful not to wake Wanda up and pulled her close and closed her eyes to go to sleep.

Asya stretched her arm as she woke up and smiled to herself as she felt Wanda lying on top of her.

"Morning," Wanda said without lifting her head from Asya's shoulder.

"Morning, did you have a good catch-up with your mom and brother?" Asya asked, knowing that she missed them when they were travelling around.

"Yep, Pietro has finished his first year at university and has done quite well," Wanda said happily.

"Im glad. How is your mom?"

"Lonley, after all, I don't live with her, and Pietro has to stay in accommodation closer to the university due to the distance. I tried telling her she should try dating, but she won't hear anything about it," Wanda said with a sign.

"So let's just buy a house near a university or buy two next to each other so Pietro still has his own space and can go around to meet whenever he wants?" Asya suggested.

"They won't like it if we spend so much money on them," Wanda warned.

"Why money can be made with a wave of our hands, we don't care about it," Asya said.

"It makes them feel as if they are taking advantage of us," Wanda said as she slowly sat up.

"So we can just pretend that they will pay us back later," Asya said with a shrug as she rolled out of bed.

"Fine, but you're telling them," Wanda said, smirking.

"That's fine. Shower or bath?" Asya asked Wanda.

Wanda rolled her eyes. "The bath in this house is a normal size one we can't both fit."

"Shower it is then," Asya said, pulling Wanda out of bed and towards the bathroom.

Asya ignored the looks that a few of the masters of the Mystic Arts gave her as she and Wanda walked into Kamar-Taj.

"Will you be training on your own today?" Asya asked Wanda.

"Yes, you going back to the Time Stone?" Wanda asked.

"Maybe yesterday wasn't very fruitful," Asya said, a little upset.

"Maybe you would have better luck if you knew what you wanted to achieve?" Wanda offered.

"Maybe I just not be suitable for the Time Stone," Asya said, thinking she should just focus on the Death Stone.

"Well, I shall see you in a bit," Wanda said as she left for the training field.

Asya walked into the library as she entered the library. She gave the head librarian a slight bow of respect and headed off to the collection of the Supreme Sorcerer.

Asya took the Book of Cagliostro from the rack and started flicking through the pages looking for something that would catch her eye.

"Maybe I could help you?" the Ancient One offered.

Asya looked up at her. "That would mean I would know what I was looking for?" Asya said.

"Given up with the Time Stone?" the Ancient One asked.

"It just didn't feel right using time magic," Asya said, and she flipped the page.

"Hmm, maybe you should use your own stone?" the Ancient One suggested.

Asya looked up, shocked at the Ancient One, before she looked back at the book. She wasn't sure how the Ancient One knew about the Death Stone, but she could have seen it in a possible future with her mastery of the Time Stone.

Or maybe she had sensed it. The aura of the Infinity Stones was quite noticeable, and Asya had used it a few times. Others may not have been able to work out what the aura was.

But the Ancient One had lots of contact with the Time Stone, something most masters of the Ancient Arts had only seen and never used.

"Other than shooting beams of energy out of the Stone, I have no idea how else to use it.

"Maybe you should just go with your feeling. You won't find anything in the books about fusing the power of the Infinity Stones into spells," the Ancient One said.

"I know, but more spells aren't bad either. If I wanted to fight stronger people, where would I look?" Asya asked.

"Hmm, I can spar with you every now and again. Other than that, you would have to travel outside of Earth to find stronger fights," the Ancient One said.

Asya was a little surprised at the offer of the Ancient One. It wasn't very often that the Ancient One would spar with the other masters of the Mystic Arts.

She did a few classes with the new students, but most learned to avoid her lessons. Lest they be stranded on Mount Everest.

"Outside of earth?" Asya asked.

"Yep, there are lots of strong species in the universe, like the Kree, the Zen-Whoberi, the Korbinite, and the Aesir are all much stronger than humans.

Or you could always try your luck in the Dark Dimension again," the Ancient One said rhetorically.

"Maybe after we have trained," Asya said, not wanting to go back into the Dark Dimension.

The Ancient One smiled and left Asya to read her books.

"You know, other than Greece, I don't think we have spent so much time in a single place before," Wanda said as they lay on the bed together.

"Are you going to miss it?" Asya asked back.

"I will miss seeing my brother and mother every morning. But I don't mind travelling," Wanda said as she wrapped her arms around Asya.

"We can come back every month if you want," Asya offered as she relaxed into Wanda.

"That would be nice. How is your training going?" Wanda asked.

"Good I have managed to merge a small amount of the power of the Death Stones power into my spells, and I have also learned some new spells."

"Good, my magic feels much stronger as well," Wanda said.

"Yes, I have noticed it also seems to have become a more scarlet red as well."

"Yes, the Ancient One seemed interested in the change as well," Wanda said, probing.

"I have looked. I have found nothing on the Scarlet Witch, and there was a witch that talked about a prophecy, but those aren't worth paying attention to."

"Im sure the Ancient One knows the prophecy," Wanda said.

"Maybe she thinks it's pointless to tell us. Or maybe she thinks telling us would lead to it being fulfilled," Asya suggested.

Voldemort had fallen into that trap.

"Well, let's get up. You are sparing with the Ancient One today," Wanda said as she rolled out of bed.

"Oh, you looking forward to seeing me be beaten up?" Asya asked teasingly.

"I get to take care of you if that happens," Wanda replied jokingly.

As Asya pulled on her jacket, her phone started ringing.

Asya picked the phone up and answered the call. "Hello?"

"Hey, he is awake if you want to talk to him," Natasha said from the other side of the phone.

"Where are you?" Asya asked.

"I will send you a location to meet. It wouldn't be a good idea to open a portal into a shield base," Natasha said.

"Okay, see you in a few minutes," Asya said.

"Guess the fight is going to have to wait till later?" Wanda said.

"Yes, come one, let's go," Asya said, slipping on the sling ring.

"You know he may not even know where the cube is," Wanda said.

"He should be able to give me a clue at the very least," Asya said.
