X-Men; An Unnatural Omega Part 2: Oh Father, where art thou?
Chapter 1: Split Personality Syndrome "Preview"
…
"One hour after kroako healed and the damage was repaired". "In Derrick's room".
Derrick was giving a blank expression to his poster as Mr. Rat squeaked in his little cage while nibbling on a chocolate chip cookie and looking up.
….."You lost control".
Derrick looked over at his backpack where the presence was resonating from while he rubbed his head with his gloved figures.
….."How long have you been holding back"? "How long have you been going without that one feature that gives you a thrill"?
"…..Too long….." Derrick replied. Not liking this particular voice in question.
The voice chuckled as it uttered its next sentence.
"How long till they throw you out after exploiting you"?
Derrick was hearing the familiar ringing of an all too familiar item in the dark of his backpack as he stood up and walked over to it.
"Things like us, even the so called gods can't handle, so how long till, "all", learn the truth about our nature".
For once derrick had a serious expression on his face as he reached down into the backpack.
"When will you finally let go"?
He pulled out a long black rectangular shaped monolith with rounded edges and corners that could fit in his palm.
It slowly shifted and changed in waves like miniature scales that lifted and flattened till a new item was in its place.
The item in question was shaped like a hammer on one side but had a pair of hooked axe blades on the other side that fused into a prying tool with a medium/short handle in the center that could be held by his hands plus another one and a thick pommel on the bottom. The head of the weapon spanned shoulder to shoulder in length and was almost seven inches in width.
It glowed in the air with a very real, very, "unnatural", "Power" behind it in the black material. Like something that wasn't supposed to be in this universe or plain of existence, like something from outside the spheres of realities.
"Something from outside the Multiverse", the voice said resonating more clearly now.
"And something that could damage it if I go all out".
Derrick said in a thoughtful tone.
