Iris Oliver/Iliana - Anna Kendrick - Purple Dragon Shadow Ranger - The Darkness

A long time ago, There was a great battle in a realm. People fought off the approaching with magic. They couldn't save their world but were determined to save the human realm. Humans never knew of the battle to save them. And they continued to live their lives, as if nothing was wrong.

Long ago in the Magic Realm, A man was running away with 2 babies. In his arms a baby boy and a girl. Their names were Bowen and Iliana. He was running from an unknown force. But soon enough he was blasted off his feet. He dropped the two babies. He was taken into battle with a mummy creature. The two kids were picked up by an unseen creature. They were taken to The Human world. Where they were seperated and adopted by humans who loved them. They grew up never knowing who their real parents were. Right now they live in peace, until the great evil is set free again. And they find each other as The Light and The Dark.

Iris woke up suddenly from her dream. It was an odd one. Magic and Monsters.

Her parents would be proud.

Iris got out from her bed and got dressed for the day. A pink T-shirt, white jeans and a green leather jacket. She had a black leather messenger bag and her shoes were black leather ankle boots and her hair was in a low ponytail. She wore a Serpent necklace around her neck.

She walked downstairs from her bedroom. Her parents were downstairs in her dad's basement lair.

She went down herself. "Hey mum, Hey dad." Iris greeted.

"Hey Sweetie," Her mom, Katherine said as she went to hug her young daughter. Now, Iris wasn't their real daughter. She was adopted. She had reddish brown hair, but she had blue eyes, her adopted dads eyes were a dark brown, as well as his hair and her adopted mom had blonde hair and light blue eyes. She only had two things from her biological parents, her serpent necklace and a dark purple blanket with silver woven into it.

"Morning Iris," Her dad, Tommy greeted. "Are you all packed for later?" He asked.

"Yeah I am, I already loaded my bags and yours and mums," Iris told him.

"Thanks, that helps a lot," Tommy told her.

"Yup and now, I'm all set to go early on my bike," Iris muttered as she ran up the stairs.

"Wait! What?" Tommy yelled up to her.

"Mum said it was fine!" Iris yelled back. "See you guys there!" Iris yells grabbing her helmet and running out the door.

Iris hopped onto her bike and started the engine. Zipping out of the driveway and onto the road, she sped up.

She slowed down her bike a bit as she drove towards a sign.

Approaching Briarwood

So she continued to drive into the small town of Briarwood.

As she drove there was a earthquake that shook the ground and everything around her. She stopped her bike.

When it finished she continued on before noticing a guy on the side of the road standing up from the ground. She got off her bike and jogged towards him.

"Hey dude, you alright?" She questioned, taking off her helmet.

"Yeah, just fell off my bike," He responded, standing himself.

"Looks like it took a bit of a beating," Iris told him, observing the bike. "Oh, I'm Iris!" She added, forgetting they didn't know each other.

"Nick," The guy nodded.

"If you'd like, I can take you to town, you're heading to Briarwood, right?" Iris offered.

"Yeah, that would be great, but how do we get my bike there?" Nick questioned. Iris took off her backpack and dug around until she found a rope, showing it to Nick.

"You weren't planning to tie me up and murder me, were you?" Nick wondered, jokingly.

"Not anymore," Iris murmured, in a serious tone. Nick looked at her with a look of shock and wariness.

"What?" Nick asked.

"Jeez, chill, it was a joke," Iris grinned, and then gave a small creepy smile. Nick got onto the back of her bike after tying it to his own. Then they drove off to Briarwood.

After they had stopped, Iris gave Nick the tools in her backpack top fix it up, and she walked off to explore. She walked around and when she passed a store called Rock Porium, she was almost run over by a skateboarder in green flannel.

"Watch where you're going will ya!" She called, rolling her eyes and walking off again.

After exploring, she made her way back to the town, to see if Nick needed any help, and once she stood next to him, there was a commotion.

"Somebody please, help me!" they looked around quickly as an old man cried out. "Please, someone. Anyone! I need help," he pleaded, and Iris and Nick walked over to the man. A crowd began to gather as he looked around helplessly. "It's my brother! We were walking just up the road, and some creature grabbed him! I fear the worst!" everyone was frowning as he spoke. "It's just out of town! A creature took him into the woods," most of the crowd immediately backed up and walked away.

"Why isn't anyone helping?" Iris whispered to Nick, who shrugged.

"Won't somebody please help me?" the old man pleaded.

"I will," Iris volunteered, but found that her voice was not the only one. She turned to Nick, who had also spoken up. She also noticed that almost all of the small town was looking at them. "I could use a break," Nick shrugged, looking up.

"Thank you," the man sighed, grateful as the two teenagers walked up to him.

"Hey," A boy in green flannel and skateboarding pads, which made Iris glare, spoke up. "I'm Xander. You two are new around here, aren't you? Probably not aware of all the facts," Xander told him as the boy pulled on his jacket. "And there's just one. If you go into those woods you don't come out again"

"Really? Well now I must go into the creepy forest," Iris smiled, narrowing her eyes at the boy in green.

"I heard about it," Nick replied. "The guy needs help. No one else in this city seems to care," he glanced to Iris, who nodded.

"I'll go with you," A girl with a pixie-cut standing next to Xander, volunteered quickly, shooting Xander a frown. "Not everyone in this city is a coward," she growled as she looked to the rest of the crowd with a scowl.

"I'll go too!" A red-headed boy stepped forward, looking excited. "I've always wanted to go on a dangerous quest! This is a dangerous quest, right?" he glanced to pixie-cut with a small frown.

"Perilous," Pixie-cut replied dryly.

"Sweet!" Red-head cheered.

"Well, let's go," Nick decided, following the old man, Iris right behind him and the other two teens walking behind them.

Reaching the entrance to the woods where the old man had told them his brother had been taken.

"Are you sure you're willing to enter?" the old man asked as they stood at the entrance. "The woods are a very scary place," he told them.

"You ask a lot of questions for someone whose brother's in danger," Nick frowned at him.

Iris looked around, she saw a glinting of something shiny a little farther away, so she decided to go to it, vaguely hearing the tire screeches of a car.

"Everyone's in danger," the old man responded.

"Everyone's in danger? Oh, yeah!" Chip cheered, smiling widely.

"Wait...where's the old man?" Nick was the first to notice that the one leading his brother's rescue mission had disappeared.

"And your cute friend?" Xander wondered, pointing out that Iris had gone as well.

"Not my friend, we met just outside of town, she's probably fine. She didn't look all that scared," Nick waved it off, but he was looking into the trees in order to catch a glimpse of her.

Iris had wandered off into a deeper part of the forest.

Eventually, she realised she was lost, and decided to text her parents, but as she was taking off her bag in order to grab her phone, a shadow of a large, winged figure appeared. The figure swooped down in a mess of black and grabbed Iris.

Iris screamed, before the figure covered her mouth, all she saw was a dark, misty green as she was sped away, before the figure dropped her down a large pit.

She landed on the ground of the dark, cold cave with a thud.

She stood and looked around as she realized there were monsters and creatures, leering at her.

"Where am I?" She whispered to herself.

"You are where you belong! The darkness!" A tool-looking monster roared.

"Who are you, you wannabe-toolbox?" Iris asked, frowing at the monster.

"I am Morticon. And you are Iliana, the daughter of darkness, and you shall be our warrior," Morticon ordered.

"Sorry, not interested!" Iris hissed, backing away from the dark figure.

"I see being raised by two Rangers didn't do you good. You reject your dark mind. No matter, one look at the master and you will remember waht you need to," Morticon spoke, he moved his hand, as if to signal something, and Iris jumped as she was once again forced to move by the bat lady.

"Get off of me!" Iris screamed, attempting to fight off the bat.

She was pushed forward until she stood in front of a glowing red circle, and she looked in to see a glowing red eye. She stared at it while a million thoughts a minute filled her mind. Hate for the mystics. Love for the darkness. Her destiny to destroy The Light. To find him and to destroy the Rangers. To make Dark Magic the only magic, and only then will she be able to have her true role. Princess of Dark Magic. What her father had allowed her to be, before he was so mercilessly punished by the Ancient Mystics and the Mystic Mother.

"Mystic Mother, and all her precious good magic will pay!" She yelled, her eyes glowing. They glowed a vibrant green.

Iris morphed, into a Purple Ranger suit. The helmet had the outline of a dragon. white cuffs around her wrist, black leggings and a purple cape with black inside. She had purple gloves and boots, theboots also had white cuffs on them. There were white and silver outlines, up and down her legs and chest. As well as a silver belt and a wand/staff with a purple dragon outline at the top.

She raced out into the forest, and found that there was a village not to far away.

"Time to give them a little taste of the destruction I can cause." Iris smirked behind her helmet.

She pointed her wand at the small well in the middle, a coil of dark energy shot out and wrapped itself around the well. It went farther and farther, growing as it went. When the darkness got to the top, fully covering the well, she waited.

Waited as mythical creatures and beings huddled around the middle of their village.

Then she smirked, and said: "Tell Udonna The Darkness has arrived. And that her Light has no chance!" She cackled. The well exploded.

"Come on," Nick led the way as they hurried through the forest, trying to find a way out. They slowed to a stop as they saw what seemed to be a small village, which had been thoroughly trashed.

"Look..." Vida breathed as strange creatures wandered around, cleaning up and tending to the injured.

"Who are they?" Xander wondered.

"I should have known you wouldn't stay at Rootcore," Udonna smiled as she walked over.

"What happened here?" Maddie asked curiously.

"Woodland Village was destroyed," Udonna's smile dropped as she spoke gravely. "Tomorrow it will be another village. The Darkness destroys everything within their path until they find what they want," she told them.

"What are they looking for?" Chip asked.

"Me," Udonna admitted with a sigh. "And then they will go after you," she warned them, and they looked alarmed at the thought.

"Hold on just a sec," Nick spoke up, seeming to becoming increasingly more irritated. "I never agreed to be part of this," he complained, before the villages seemed to notice them.

"It is them! It is them!" one cried out happily. "The protectors are here!" he yelled. "Hail the Mystic Force!" they bowed before the teenagers.

"Always wondered what it would be like to be worshipped," Xander commented. "It's not so bad," he grinned.

The ground suddenly shook, and they looked up to see a monster, so tall it towered over them.

"Ok...that's bad," Xander summed up as they backed away. The villagers all fled, screaming.

"Take out your wands!" Udonna ordered.

"We kind of left them back at the tree," Chip spoke, sheepishly.

"Alright, stand back. You leave me no choice," Udonna told the monster as she drew her own wand. "MAGICAL SOURCE, MYSTIC FORCE!" Udonna morphed into a white suit. "Flurry of Snow! White Mystic Ranger!" she chanted, holding her Snow Staff.

"Now that's cool," Vida grinned as she stared at her. Udonna ran to fight the monster as they watched.

Hidiacs moved towards them.

"Well, as I see it, we have two choices. We can surrender and be destroyed..." Chip started.

"Or fight?" Maddie finished for Chip, looking incredulous.

"We fight," Nick agreed.

"No, there's a third option," Xander stopped him. "Plan Xander. I'll just reason with them," he grinned.

"Hi, I'm Xander. We're not really from these parts, so if it's ok with you we'll just be heading off-" The Hidiacs made to attack. "Guess we fight,"

"Just remember!" Udonna called as she saw them all being thrown about like rag dolls. "To use magic, all you need to do is believe in magic!" she told them.

"Guys! The magic really works!" Chip yelled. "Just believe!" he yelled.

Vines shot out from the trees around Xander, taking out the Hidiacs.

Maddie caused water to burst up and take out the ones attacking her.

Vida became a tornado, sending the Hidiacs flying. Udonna took out the monster, before coming to Nick's rescue as he was thrown through the air. She demorphed, and everyone regrouped.

"Well, well, very nice," she nodded in approval. "You truly are the ones. Are you up to the task?" Udonna asked them. "Are you now ready to accept your legacy?" she asked them.

"Oh yeah! Bring it on!" Chip nodded.

"I'm in!" Vida agreed as she stood by him. "I kicked some serious evil back there," Udonna smiled at their eagerness.

"This is so unlike me, but I'm sticking with my sister," Maddie decided as she stepped forwards too.

"Someone's gotta look after these guys, right?" Xander grinned as he spoke up.

They looked over at Nick as he rubbed his neck. He looked up at them, and frowned.

"Me? No way," he brushed the dirt from his clothes. "I'm out of here," he told them with a scowl, making their smiles drop.

"Are you sure this is what you choose?" Udonna asked as she walked over to them.

"Look. The 'I believe in magic' thing, it didn't work for me," he told them as he fixed his jacket.

"Try believing again," Maddie suggested with a small smile. "Maybe it didn't catch on the first time?" she tried, but Udonna shook her head with a small smile.

"He is a non-believer," she told them sadly. "I can do nothing for him. Claire will see you out of the woods safely," Udonna said to Nick. "Claire!" she called for her apprentice as the others remained silent.

"Here I am!" Claire bleated as she came into view, still in sheep form.

"Oh my dear child," Udonna laughed as she saw her. "When will you get your spells right? See him safe passage out of the woods," she instructed the girl.

"Yes Udonna," Claire bleated, and led Nick off. A noise behind them made the remaining five turn around quickly to see a figure in purple armour.

"You may have defeated my Hidiacs, but you'll not defeat me," he spoke as he drew his sword. "Wolf Attack!" his shield opened and red light shot at the group, blasting them off their feet. "It is the end for you," he told them, and laughed as they looked up at him.
