Titans Vs Grimm
Various Huntsmen and Huntresses find themselves in a world where monsters of a different kind are the threat to existence. Using their abilities to transform into monsters themselves, can the young heroes survive long enough to make it home? Let's find out.

Author's Note: In this, Blake will feel more comfortable without her bow on around her friends and those among the staff who know she's a Faunus. Also, in this Beacon never fell, Teams RWBY, JNPR, and LEMO (my OC team) are in their final year, and Salem's only allies are Watts, Tyrian, and the Grimm
Ah, Beacon Academy. The most prestigious of all Huntsman Academies. Only the best of the best are accepted at this school to continue their training. But most have come for more than just training to be Huntsmen and Huntresses. These select individuals were here also to learn control over a unique ability they had: They could turn into something similar to the monsters of Remnant, the Creatures of Grimm, but instead of the bony plating the typical Grimm have as armor, the forms these warriors possess had crystal armor. Students from every year with this ability were eligible for a special class created for them to learn to control their powers.
Currently in the amphitheater, four such students were training in their Grimm forms, each one different. One resembled an Ursa, a quadrupedal/bipedal bear Grimm, with yellow citrine plating as its armor and its claws, another resembled an Acinon, a bipedal cheetah Grimm, with small rubies as its spots and claws, the third resembled a Pantera, a bipedal panther Grimm, with amethyst plating as its armor and claws, and the final one resembled a Beowolf, a bipedal wolf Grimm, with blue sapphire plating as its armor and claws. Each creature's eyes were glowing the same color as the crystals on its body.
The Beowolf swiped at the Pantera, which blocked the attack then slammed its head against its opponent, sending both stumbling back a bit. The Acinon charged at the Ursa, which caught its opponent and threw it to the wall.
The lights soon turned on and Glynda Goodwitch, a teacher at Beacon, walked to them.
"Well done, students." She said with a small smile. "Now, revert to your normal selves."
Black smoke rose from all four creatures' rear paws. When the smoke was gone, three girls and one boy stood in place of the Crystal Grimm. One girl had black hair with red tips, fair skin, and silver eyes, another had long blonde hair, fair skin and lilac eyes, and the third girl had long black hair, fair skin, and yellow eyes, as well as cat ears on her head. The last of the girls had blue hair to his chest, fair skin, and silver eyes, along with wolf ears on his head. These four were Ruby Rose, her older half-sister, Yang Xiao Long, Blake Belladonna, and her adopted brother, Lapis Lazuli.
Sitting in the stands watching were their friends Weiss Schnee, Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos, Lie Ren, Ember Gold, Magenta Magnolia, and Onyx Black. Among these eight spectators, Weiss, Nora, and Magenta were others capable of transforming in Crystal Grimm.
A man walked to them. He had gray hair, brown eyes, and glasses. This was Professor Ozpin, headmaster of Beacon Academy.
"Very well done, students. You and your friends have progressed since first coming to this school. And with graduation around the corner, you'll be able to not only become Huntsmen and Huntresses, but you can use your abilities however you wish to." He said.
"You're dismissed, students." Glynda said.
The three teams left the amphitheater in time to see the sun begin to set.
"Just one more week then we're set for life!" Yang said.
Blake smiled and kissed her cheek. The two have been a couple since the second semester of their third year and have become something of a power couple around the school.
Lapis smiled at his sister. His Scroll buzzed and he pulled it out then smiled when he saw the text from his girlfriend, Velvet Scarlatina.
"And how is my handsome wolf today?" The message read.
"Pretty good, but he's missing his beautiful bunny." He replied.
Lapis and his teammates, along with Blake and Velvet, were part of a species of Remnant called Faunus. Faunus looked like an average person, but what set the Faunus apart from humans is that the the former of the two species have one animalistic trait.
"One more week then you'll be able to see me again."
"Graduation Day can't come soon enough."
"Well, maybe I can ask Professor Ozpin if I can come by to see you."
"He may go for that."
"Texting Velvet, little brother?" Blake asked.
"She may be coming by to see me tonight, depending on what Oz says." He replied.
"I think Magenta should be glad she's deaf." Ember said, her tail moving to scratch an itch on her back.
"Which means, Ember and I will likely need earplugs tonight." Onyx said, smirking to show she had shark teeth instead of human teeth.
"Shut up, girls!" Lapis said. "Velvet and I are not that loud!"
"Yeah, and Ruby's not the best marksman in our year." Blake smirked.
"Well, there's the pot calling the kettle black. You and Yang are loud enough to wake the dead!"
Blake and Yang blushed like mad, the former glaring at her brother.
Later, Lapis was waiting for his girlfriend, who had been granted permission to visit. She smiled at him and he smiled back.
"I'm happy you're here, babe." He said.
"I'm happy to be here too, luv." She said to him.
The two then headed to the dorm room Team LEMO had. When they arrived, they saw the lights were off and Magenta was reading a book while Ember and Onyx were a racing video game with headphones on, the dead Faunus with wings using the light from the screen to see.
"Some things never change." Velvet said.
Lapis chuckled softly as the couple laid down in his bed. He immediately pulled her close to him as they cuddled close then kissed each other, passion quickly being added. The blankets were already over the Faunus as they slowly got each other's clothes off.
The room next door to Team LEMO's was the dorm room of Team RWBY. Unlike the rest of the rooms at Beacon, the bed in Team RWBY's form were positioned as makeshift bunk beds. Ruby and Yang had the top bunks as theirs, leaving Weiss and Blake with the bottom bunks.
Currently, Yang and Blake were laying under the covers naked in the latter's bunk. Yang was brushing her hand through her girlfriend's hair, resulting in Blake literally purring like a cat.
"I love hearing you purr." Yang said.
"I love it when you get me to purr." Blake said then the two kissed before falling asleep.
