A.N. All the Pokemon have been chosen. Naruto will be specializing in fighting types. He will be starting with Chimchar and Riolu
All Pokèmon, much like my other Pokèmon story, will have specialized sets, all based off a single move.
This story, unlike the Whirlpool Trainer, will be a whole lot less dark like the other is about to become.
Anyways, Onto the Story.
~
'Any sailor worth their salt fears the Whirlpool above all else. It's an unpredictable force of nature, it is unpredictable, unchanging, unrelenting, and if it has you in its grasps…
'Pray lord Arceus shows you mercy, because the Whirlpool will not. Whirlpools don't believe in any God.'

'Motherhood was not all it was made out to be, ' Kushina dully thinks, watching her son drool onto the pillow they had brung onboard. She sighed as a droplet landed on the head of her son's newly gifted Riolu from his aunt, Cynthia.
The other Pokèmon, a Chimchar gifted from Professor Hiruzen, watched the both of them in was grabbing onto her son's head, drool dribbling out onto her son as well.
She shook her head. Those three were so similar, if the other two weren't Pokèmon, she could have sworn they were triplets!
"Hello, everyone, this is your pilot speaking, we are about to arrive in Paldea." This made her son instantly sit up and look out the window.
The mother snorted at the Pokèmon, especially the Chimchar, for having the same reaction as Naruto at the same time, without pushing the others out of the way. Forget what she said about them being triplets, they were practically one entity!
"Woah, mom, look out the window! There's large, pink birds!" Naruto said excitedly. "They look like they have Knots around there necks! I can't wait to battle them!"
Kushina deadpanned at her son's words. "I would if you weren't blocking the view…" she muttered.
"Whatcha say, mom? / Char? / Lu?" All three asked at once, all three heads turning at as well. Kushina sweatdropped at the reaction, entirely unsurprised.
Rolled her eyes in mirth, the single mother rubbed his son's head. "Nothing, sweetie. Just keep soaking in the view while you can."
~
"Oh, sweet Ground, how I've missed you!" Naruto cried. "I will never leave you again for so long!"
Kushina simply picked up son up back the of his shirt, done with his antics. "Okay, that's enough of that, let's get going, we have a house to see!" She said happily, thankful his Pokèmon were in there Pokèballs.
"Wait, just a sec-"
Naruto began to sweat at the look in his mother's eyes. "You want to run that by me again, bucko?" She challenged, cracking her other hand with her thumb.
Shrinking in on himself, he shook his no. "Good, cause we need to get going."

The School Principal could only blink of surprise, and a little shock as he saw he newest student get man-handled by his mother, and his likely to be newest teacher.
"Ah, Naruto and Kushina Uzumaki, over here!" He called out, drawing the attention of the two.
The Principal slightly recoiled his neck at the speed they ran to him. 'I swear, did they just use Agility or something?' He thought belatedly.
"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Principal Clavellof the Naranja Academy. It's very nice to meet you both," Clavellsaid formally.
"Your a stick in the mud, huh?" Naruto mumbled.
Slamming her fist into her son's head, Kushina said, "Hi, I'm the kick-ass Kushina Uzumaki, and this is my son, Naruto." Clavellhad to purse his lips, because said it as if her hadn't just delivered a haymaker to her son's skull, thoroughly knocking him out.
"Uh… will he okay?" The Principal asked uncertainly, a bead of sweat rolling down the back of his head. Maybe he should hire this lady.
"Oh, he's taken worse. I only deal out punishment that serve the statement. He's done this more than just a few times," Kushina said, still as if nothing happened. This was really starting to get to Clove. Just how does she treat kids?!
"I trust that you won't do this to any other student then your son?" Clavellasked hurriedly. He needed to be sure.
"Oh yeah, they're just kids. My son here, on the other hand, is a complete idiot that can't keep his mouth shut, even if Arceus himself asked him too!" She said in her usual way as Clavellhad, getting the last part out through gritted teeth.
The Principal sighed in relief. He had heard all about the Uzumaki's… eccentric ways. They weren't a well-known clan, like the Uchiha of Unova, the Senju of Hoenn, or the Hyuuga of Sinnoh, but they were called the most terrifying foe because of there namesake, the Whirlpool.
"Well… let's get going then. We have a lot to see show here."
Naruto got onto wobbly feet, rubbing his head and grumbling about an abusive mother, which made Kushina snort. She learn long ago that you could only fight stupid with stupid, just you fight fire with fire.
"Well, since this is your first here," Principal Clavellcalled. They both walked toward him, eyes widening at the scene, staged like it was from a movie.
The wind ruffled the Principal's hair, making it slightly waver. Leaves dances behind him, Hoppip floating with them. The sunlight made his figure a silhouette, hand held out to both sides in a grandiose gesture, like a hero showing the people the light.
"Welcome to the Paldea region, a region full of mystery, exploration, and, of course, Pokèmon," the Principal said proudly.
"Paldea is filled hundreds of Pokèmon, in the sea, land, and sky. Hundreds of new Pokèmon, unlike ever seen before," Clavellsaid grandly, throwing his Pokèball, reveal an odd mouse that Naruto knew was not a Pikachu.
"Hey, Watson, what's this Pokèmon?" Naruto asked the Principal.
Another skull-rattling Punch was delivered to his skull and the Principal could only furrow his brow at the nickname. "Pardon? / Pawmi?" The Principal and Pokèmon asked in unison.
"You'll have to forgive my idiot of a son. He likes coming up with informal nicknames," 2 3Kushina apologized.
The Principal's eyes softened. "Is that so. Well, if that helps him adjust to Paldea, I'll allow it as long as it isn't completely insulting." Both Kushina and Naruto blinked at his statement. "Ah, while we are a school and a place to learn, many students really only have our school as a home within our region. The comfort of the students is our top priority, right up there with their education.
"The students and teachers get there own room while at the school, which they don't need to use, but will always be reserved for them."
"What if the there are more people than there are rooms?" Naruto asked.
"Well, we just reserve the hotels within the city. The hotels have thankfully agree if necessary, but it hasn't happened yet," Clavellresponded in a matter of fact tone.
Naruto made a thinking face, but shrugged, look at his mother. "Hey, don't look at me, I'm not helping in whatever you're planning!" Kushina retorted.
Clavellnarrowed his eye. "If you even think about about pranking the school, I'll having you on nightwatch for all time you are at this academy."
The three began to walk down the road, Naruto seeing the many food, clothes, and Pokèmon related shops sprinkled around, mixed in with top housing.
"Paldea is filled with adventure and mystery," Clavell said, waving back to a waving student. "There are secrets in every nook and cranny," He continued, gesturing to some passing Fletchlings.
"But to get to all the exploration, you need to learn to be independent and knowledgeable. This world, as safe as it might seem, paths are carved for a reason. Yet, we wish for you to carve your own path to victory, whatever that may be.
"It could be the Champion Title, To be able to see everything this region has to offer, or to simply help a friend," Clavell chattered on, still walking forward, stepping into the shadows of an archway.
"All we wish for those who come to learn at this academy is to be able to forge one's own path," The Principal said with conviction. He walked up the steps in the archway, approaching the blinding light, as he stopped to look at Naruto. "I don't know what that will be for you, Naruto, but I hope you learn in due time."
Clavell looked away, and stepped into light, walking along. Naruto smiled, running up the stairs and entering the light.
His eyes widened when he saw the Plaza in front of him. Hundreds of People and Pokèmon, tons of shops.
"Okay, thanks Principal Clavell! Alright, Naruto, we need to buy some new clothes. Ours are a bit too warm for this weather."
"No! Wait, shouldn't we-"
~
"That… was a lot." Naruto murmured, struggling to keep up with his mother. He was carrying the bags with the clothes and food that they had bought, his mother calling it training. Like hell it was!
Kushina nodded lost in thought, walking down the road to the lighthouse. A bit of a hike to the school, but it would be good for Naruto. He's been needing to train his stamina more. Well, it wasn't like he already had a ton, but it wouldn't hurt to increase it.
Hearing a small cry of surprise, Kushina turned her head to see a Squakabilly, if she was right, and a yellow one at that.
She was told that the yellow Squakabilly were fairly aggressive by Principal Clive. Sighing, she grabbed a pokèball and threw it. It was going to be a long summer if the yellow ones keep coming around.
A large silhouette covered the suddenly frightened bird, as it could only shake in fear, eyes popping out of his skull.
(A.N. Think Enel when he learns Luffy counters his Devil Fruit [One Piece])
"Well, now we wait," Kushina mutters, swiping the explosion Squakabilly feathers out of her face. "To the next school year, I hope you come soon. For my own and my son's sakes."

A.N. This story will be a lot more wholesome than what my other Pokèmon story is about to become.
Naruto has a history of being expelled for various things, such as pranking, fighting, and various other things. More into that later.
Pokèmon Team:
Chimchar
Riolu
Naruto's Pokèmon are supposed to be well trained and powerful at this point, seeing how he got them 3 years ago during this part of the story.
Next Chapter: Flirtin' With Disaster
If you know the song, you should know exactly who you're about so meet, at least if you know the meaning of it.
