" I still can't believe Professor Snape 50 points!" groaned Ron. Harry and Sirus were sitting in the main living room of Grimmauld place. Harry sipped his drink while giving an agreeing look.
" That one was on you Ron you were not paying attention and nocked over your Condron your potion melted your table and his shoes and end of his robe if he didn't quickly fix it who knows how much trouble you would have caused." Hermione scolded as she entered with Remus behind her.
" Hermione dear it cant be all Ron's fault clearly Snape was not being a good Professor if such a thing happen I wouldn't be surprised he put something in the cordon to make it happen just so he could remove the points," Sirus said standing to refresh his drink. Ron and Harry nodded in agreement.
"Yeah see Hermione it probably wasn't even really my fault someone clearly set me up," Ron said excitedly.
"YOU MELTED HIS CLOTHES RONALD AND I SAW YOU, YOU PUT TO MUCH PEPPER RAT POWDER IN WHILE YOU TRIED TO LOOK DOWN LAVENDER SHIRT" Hermione yelled in an exhausted voice clearly tired of his constant complaining of the event that was his fault her table was right behind his during class and her bag almost got destroyed luckily she swooped it up fast enough.
"Your lucky he didn't take more and instead just gave you detention to clean and fix the damage table and stools," Hermione said taking a sip of her drink.
"Your lucky he's not making you replace his shoes and robes iv only ever seen him in the one, you think he fixes them or that he just has a bunch of identical ones," Harry asked smiling.
"He must have a lot, remember when Neville was worried about his Spring cold cactus cuz it was raining too much and they get sad and sick if there's too much water and humanity in the air the dame thing leaked glue all over causing him to slip and send the plant right at Snape he was covered. Ron laughed with everyone joining in.
"It still not right though for one to damage school property or professors," Hermione said not being able to remove her smile from the memory Remus shrugged in agreement but also still wore his smile.
"HERMIONE you set his robe on fire first year how can you talk you even did it on purpose. Ron said accusingly.
"What" Sirus and Remus both said looking over at her smiles of surprise on their faces.
'That was different we thought he was trying to hurt Harry" Hermione said quickly trying to explain herself.
"Oh and the second year when you stole from his private storage cabinet of ingredients" Harry piped in.
"Hermione" Remus scolded with a smile still on his face.

"Not another word Ron, both of you if either of you says anything more I hex you so bad you won't be able to go back to school at the end of break" Hermione almost yelled. Sirus slipped into the seat next to her.
"My dear Hermione aren't you just full of surprise, Harry you plan to marry her right?' Sirius said glancing over at Harry. The three young wizards and witch shocked were unable to say anything at Sirius's question.
"NO"! Both Ron and Hermione said in unionization Harry shook his head Sirius gave Harry a confused look.
"Why she's a lovely young witch clearly brilliant and despite her loyalty to school and rules has that special edge to break all the rules and still stay in her professors' good graces… Remus, is she your secret child"? Sirius stopped praising Hermione when the thought popped into his head.
"NO," both Hermione and Remus said Sirius shrugged and looked back at Harry.
"Don't you agree Harry she would be just perfect for our family I know James and Lilly would simply love her?" Sirius was happily talking as he swung an arm around Hermione giving a little hug.
"Sirius no Hermione offense and me Hermione your Brilliant " Harry quickly said glancing at her.
"What Harry is trying to say is that we are FRIENDS JUST FRIENDS, right Harry," Hermione said in a tone that one adopts when they have said it more than once.
"Yes," Harry happily sighed Ron just started nodding his head in agreement. Sirius took a sip from his drink and looked at them over the rim of his cup.
"Well are any of you dating right now?" Sirius asked
"I am " Ron raised his hand excitedly Harry and Hermione roll their eyes
"No, but maybe soon". Harry said with a little blush on his cheeks
" Who?" Ron asked not recalling being told of any new crush that Harry had mentioned.
"Oh well …I" Harry tried to think of what to say when Hermione saved him
" Really you boys are more obsessed with who's into who than the girls in the bathroom, really why must everyone need to know about others' relationships they don't even get it right half the time, which causes trouble for those actually in the relationship". Hermione complained.
" And who are you dating dear"? Sirius asked Ron dropped a biscuit that he was about to bite into Hermione went a little pink and looked down at her hands.
" NO ONE I'm. I'm not seeing anyone " Hermione grabbed at her drink to put it in front of her face too scared to take a drink to incase she choke on it.
"Mmmmm you sure it's just" Remus put his hand on Sirius's shoulder to stop him from talking.
"That's enough Sirius let's leave the children alone I'm sure they have enough problems without some old men probing for information who's up for a game of wizard chess, Ron how bout you?" Remus walks across the room to the old chess board getting it ready Ron stared at Hermione for a minute before getting up to walk over to the board before turning back to her.
" Are you dating someone"? Ron asked with a bit of a sour face Hermione looked up annoyed.
"Go play your game Ronald" she commanded Ron pressed his lips before turning to join Remus.
A month after winter breaks everyone was happily enjoying their quiet school life. Hermione was in the great hall with the rest of the school for dinner Professor McGonagall was the only one missing but few noticed they were all too excited that instead of the normal grand feast that appeared for dinner it was all deserts and very grand deserts at that, not just a few basic pies, cakes and biscuits no there where peached pears with hokey pokey custard, pumpkin, and chocolate éclairs, salted honey pears and chocolate torte tatin and so many more. It was almost an hour into this enjoyable surprise that the doors to the great hall burst open with a happy-looking Sirius strutting through.
" Good good looks like everyone has been enjoying the deserts, has anyone not gotten any? Sirius went on his tiptoes to scan the great hall making sure that everyone had enjoyed the special deserts.
Sirius Black was it you the one behind this how kind but knowing you a lovely jester-like this has a price." Dumbledore called with a twinkle in his eyes Snape looked down at the lime and cream Polvorones he had been enjoying as they had just turned to aced slime.
" My dear headmaster the price of these treats are but a simple game you see a past conversation made me remember how confusing things at school can be and how nice it would be to just have the thing out in the open.
" You want to expose people secrets," professor Flitlick says confused
"We will not be playing your games Black" Snape snarls as he jolts his body as if trying to stand but remains seated Snap glares at Sirius.
"What did you do Black" Snape yells Sirius smiles at the room itself.
"Well you see the game kind of already started and you all Kind of already agreed to play".
"I did no such thing" Snape hiss at Sirius "ME NEITHER, " yells half the hall
"Sirius please stop this" Harry pleads Sirius walks over to Harry cupping his face.
"Harry when you came to live with me I promised to make up for all the time we lost… And that includes embarrassing you and I'm not just making up what the two of us missed out of what your parents would have wanted ." Sirius says in such a loving voice you would think what he was doing was sweet Harry's face is as red as Ron's hair.
" I don't believe you," Harry says looking Sirius in the eyes. Sirius presses his lips and shrugs.
"Well not Lilly but James, James would have loved this don't worry I'll do something that she would approve of later. Harry grabs Sirius arms pleading him to stop Sirius pulls away and claps his hand together " now then " before Sirius can finish talking Snape yells stupefy Sirius only just blocking it with his wand Sirius and Snape kept their wands pointed at each other.
"Now to be clear none of you will be able to get up until the game is done and I'm sure some of you would like to return your regular schedule sometime tonight, so please let me explain the game and rules." Sirius smiled not putting his wand down Snape looked like he was trying to swallow a pokey pine.
"So the game is basically truth I ask a question and if it applies to you raise your hand I get to ask ten questions and note no you can not lie or you are unable to lie I should say after the question are complete you will all be able to move again, so who's ready." Sirius looks around the great hall.
"If you think you're going to get away with this wait till my father hears about this" Draco yells he would have stood up if he could to add to his threat.
"Malfoy your Malfoy ants you" Sirius squints his eyes over to the Slytherin table Draco turned his nose up.
" How's Narcissa, well I can imagine. I see you inherited your fathers' ability to come off as a tosser on a first meeting" Sirius shrugged Malfoy's face was red from both embarrassment and anger Malfoy grabbed his wand but before he could say a spell his wand was flying across the room.
"Now now let's all settle down Sirius we will play your game but do please remember that there are children present and we will be having a talk after," Dumbledore tells Sirius and the rest of the hall as he puts his wand down and picks up his lemon de pot crème.
"Thank you, headmaster," Sirius says doing a small theatrically bow.
"Who here thinks Malfoy is a tosser" pretty much the whole hall's hands fly up there's a bit of surprise and laughter breaks out through the hall Malfoy hits the few people in a distance of himself.
"Alright no more joking around" Sirius laughs
"Wait sir none of the professors raised their hands and well based on your question." Hermione trailed off making a couple of students agree Draco glared at her across the hall. Sirius nodded
"Well, you see based on the question I had in mind I decided not to include them this is just for the students". A relaxed sigh was heard at the faculty table only Dumbledore didn't seem to react.
" THAT'S NOT FAIR " Ron yelled.
"Ok enough I'm just going to start who here wants to date my godson Harry Potter"
A fair amount of hands rose Ginny being one of them.
"Really," Harry said across the table Ginny blushed Harry's smile grew Ron looked between the two and shook his head.
" I don't like this game," Ron said sinking in his seat Sirius ignored him though and instead looked at Hermione whose hand had not gone up.
"Who here wants to snog my godson Harry Potter" a few more hands went up Sirius stilled stared at Hermione.
"REALLY NOTHING, my dear girl… fine I will respect your choice not to date Harry. Sirius said in a defeated tone many of the students looked around confused was this all really just about getting Harry and Hermione to date.
"But they already told you that they had no interest in each other" Ron said Hermione and Harry both nodded in agreement.
"I thought we made ourselves very clear Sirius Sir back during the holiday break," Hermione said in a strained voice Sirius seemed to shuffle his feet a bit.
"Yes, but I had hoped you guys were just being mm mm shy I guess I just really want you in the family dear," Sirius said. Hermione smiled and looked up at Sirius.
"That lovely really but drugging almost the whole school to try and unveil some hidden feelings that although I do love Harry, not like that". Hermione told Sirius reaching for his hand Sirius took it and smiled back.
"Yes, I see that my dear" the room felt a slight relief at the feeling that this was over, but no.
"But seeing as you will not be with Harry I remember you being a bit dodgy with the dating questions back during the holiday and well I do feel that you are family and soooo" Sirius striated up as Hermione looked went from kind to terrified.
"Who here wants to date Hermione Granger" Sirius yelled through the hall and a fair amount of hands raised a few predicted such as Longbottom, Ron, a few raven claws and Hufflepuff's and Mcgallun and others not as predicted like but also not suppressed Ginny and Luna now the ones that did surprise were a few Slytherins ones being Pansy the other two being Nott and Malfoy. Now then at the sight of Rons' hand, Brown started hitting Ron and Crying about how she knew it. the Huffel Puffs just nodded in acknowledgment the raven claws looked amounts each other but then directed their attention to the Slytherins. Ron between Browns hits looked at the Slytherin table like it was on fire and he had to block Hermione from the flames.
"Well plenty of admirers I see my dear but which one have you been seeing, I hope it, not the redhead Harry seem to fancy her but I suppose that could work" Sirius rubbed his face. "Why I myself have played with the idea with a couple or two"
"No," both Harry and Hermione said. Cutting Sirius off.
"So who's has snogged Hermione Granger" Sirius called a good deal of hands went down the few that remained were Ron, Luna, Malfoy, and Zabini hand had gone up Hermione had buried her face in her hands not looking at anyone Malfoy had given Zabini a hard look before looking at the table were others who had apparently Snogged Hermione were Brown was making an even bigger scene while Luna didn't seem to have a reaction to her it was just a fact though she found other reaction confusing some thought it was great others hot and some wanted to know-how. She thought of how it was just during a game no big deal. Harry looked at Hermione with a little disgust.
" Did you really Kiss Malfoy I mean Zabini to but Malfoy really"?
"I believe it they're both hot so why not, ooooo so your dating one of them?" Ginny said with excitement.
"No" Hermione groaned Sirius looked down at the blushing girl.
"Well, my dear what do you say we end this game…. Who is"
"SIRIUS BLACK what are you doing" Professor McGonagall had entered the hall looking at the hall of intrigued and pink faces of students she cast a spell at Sirius but he blocked it.
"Professor the only Witch to make my heart race," Sirius said as if she had not just shot a disarming spell at him and instead had hugged him.
"If you would stop breaking rules and running away then you wouldn't have such a problem," McGonagall said casting another spell Sirius dodged smiling.
"Will you stop this Sirius? " Remus said coming out from behind McGonagall Harry looked like he had just been saved from demeanors.
"Remus, professor thank Gerdic you're here please help" Harry almost fell from his seat. Remus gave him a reinsuring smile before stopping in front of Sirius. " Really we talked about this you cant just cause trouble in Hogwarts you are responsible for kids not one yourself" Remus lectured Sirius was kicking the ground with his foot. " I just wanted to have a little fun, make up for all the fun I've missed with Harry while he was growing up" Sirius gave Remus puppy dog eyes. " That is no excuse for your actions Mr. Black and Headmaster how could you allow this I know perfectly well he would not have been able to do any of this if you had not ok it" Professor McGonagall had directed her attention to the staff table. Dumbledore gave a small smile "Mr. Black had insured me no one would be hurt and that he would keep things appropriate and well he had provided such lovely desserts for all of us to enjoy. McGonagall just shook her head " release the children Mr. Black, and I want you in my office Potter you will escort him" McGonagall turned and left the great hall Sirius let out a sigh smiling " who here thinks they love that Witch more then I do?" no hands went up though Dumbledore made a maybe hand gesture. Everyone was now free all jumping up just because they could there was so much chatter that no one could hear or understand anything two people down were saying.
"Mr. Black your actions were atrocious Hogwarts is not your playground". Mc Gonagall was towering over a sheepishly smiling Sirius as he sat in one of the chairs in her office Harry and Remus stood to the side. "So Ms. Weasley" Remus gave Harry a little smile. Harry returned an awkward shy smile not looking up. " Yeah, at least something good came from this" Harry watched Professor McGonagall scold Sirius before his mind drifted back to the reason why this whole thing happened. Who is Hermione dating is it really a Slytherin if so he could see why she was reelected to tell them. Thinking about it though he felt a little bad that she didn't feel comfortable telling her friends about it just because of that. He decided when he got back to the tower he would tell her that whoever she is dating is her choice and she doesn't have to worry about being judged just because of who they are. Though with the way things are going it doesn't look like McGonagall is going to be done anytime soon.
Hermione gave a heavy sigh face still red from the events that had happened just a bit ago she entered an abandoned classroom setting her bag on a desk before propping herself on the same desk. Her head shot up when the door opened to reveal a disheveled and pissed-looking Draco Malfoy. Hermione was about to ask what happen when he slammed the door behind him giving her a little start. " You've kissed Zabini" he spat crossing his arms over his chest Hermione raised her eyebrows. " Since when do you call him Zabini you've been buds since the third year hasn't you". "Since he kissed my girlfriend" Draco stomped up to her. Hermione hopped off the desk meeting his stance " that was a dare and it was before we really even started dating should I get angry about every girl you've ever kissed" she crossed her arms. " Yes, let us talk about kissing witches" Draco bent so his face was just a few inches from hers " ooo come on those were just dares a game just a game of truth or dare, it is not like I'm going around and just kissing people".
"And where was I during these games I wouldn't have allowed those blokes but I would have been willing to watch you kiss a witch or two as long as they understood that it ends with the game". Draco purred " oh really so you'd actually come to a House unity gathering if you get to watch a little witch on witch action" Draco eyebrows disappeared into his hairline " is that what happens at those gatherings, you are not going to one of those alone again" Draco stated firmly Hermione gave a little push of his chest " first of all I can go wherever I want, second although I would like to see you at the gatherings don't you think it would look a little weird for you of all people to start showing up although you've been better your still the one who is causing trouble amount's the houses." Draco just looked at her before smirking " well it wont look that weird if I'm going to give support to my girlfriend and her hard work of organizing such events" he gave her a small peck on the lips before heading to the door. " Two months of sneaking around is long enough tomorrow we go public Ill pick you up for breakfast go ahead and tell whoever you want tonight so it wont be as big as a shock to them tomorrow". Draco strutted out leaving Hermione dumbstruck at what he had told her they were going public the phrase out of the frying pan into the fire echoed in her head.
