A/N: Okay folks, the KagurAyumu fic is finally here! I originally wanted it to be a one-shot but after some consideration, I made it a two-part story of love and sorrow.

It was the first day of the second year of high school, and Ayumu was in her seat in the classroom. Sure, the first part of the school didn't go so well after the realization that the entire school now knows her as "Osaka", but she forgot about that and continued to say "Get it together" to start the school year. But when she got to her 29th "get it together", her eyes then shifted their gaze to a girl entering the classroom, though she's different from the rest of the class. She has short, wild rudy brown hair, a muscular body for a teenage girl, and the most different thing about her: Her dark skin. The girl's skin was so dark that it looks like the bean paste inside of a piece of anpan. Ayumu then started to drool a little bit, though it wasn't because of the new girl, it's because of anpan.

"Ayumu-san," Chiyo said, which caused Ayumu to snap out of her trance.

"Oh, Chiyo-chan," Ayumu said back, "Ah got distracted by the new girl dat Ah forgot 'bout ya. Also, did ya call me 'Ayumu-san'?"

"Indeed Chiyosuke did call you by your real name!" shouted Tomo, who came to Ayumu's desk along with Sakaki, Yomi, and Kaorin, "We all decided that maybe continuing to call you 'Osaka' was a bad idea after Yukari-chan decided to make that nickname your official name."

"I have to agree with Tomo here," Yomi agreed, " At first, I thought that nickname was somewhat of a cute thing, but now that we realized that it's going to replace your real name, we thought that the best thing we can do is to remind people of your real name."

"We're so sorry for calling you 'Osaka'!" Kaorin apologized, "We didn't know that Yukari-sensei would take that so seriously!"

Ayumu was shocked. Sure, her friends had been somewhat mean to her in the past, but for them to show some regret for what they did to her.

"Y'all…" Ayumu was about to continue her statement before Yukari came into the classroom, "Ya know what, let's talk about dis after school."

After school, after Ayumu talked to her friends, she started to pack up and go back home. On the way out, she stopped at the pool and saw the same dark-skinned girl she saw in the morning, now in her swimsuit. She saw the athlete swim in the pool, showing off her strength and power. Ayumu then got a weird feeling in her chest. It felt like something is trying to get out of her chest. But she then forgot about that feeling and then started to walk back home, before Nyamo would shout at her.

"What was dat feelin' Ah was feelin' back there? " Ayumu thought to herself, " That anko-skinned girl looks friendly and nice, but ma and pa told me to never get into a relationship with another person, especially a male person or somebody who looks like a male, and dat girl looks like a male. Oh, Ah'm so confused right now! Ah need a nap!"

The next day, Ayumu was reading her English textbook, trying to not look at the girl next to her. Those feelings from yesterday were still present in Ayumu's heart; she wanted to let them out, but if she did, the other students will give her the weird look on their faces. Ayumu then decided to keep those herself, but that caused her to fidget a lot, so much to the point where she started to sweat a lot and shiver. Soon, class was over, and Ayumu can sigh a sigh of relief. Then, she felt a hand on her shoulder, and she turned around to that it came from the same dark-skinned girl she encountered yesterday, only she can now see her face clearly.

"Who…" Ayumu paused, her face turning a strawberry red, "Who are ya?"

"The name's Kagura," The girl answered, "Kagura Katawagawa!"

"What a nice name ya got there, Kagura-chan."

"Thanks, dad gave it to me. Say, what's your name?"

"Oh, mah name is Ayumu Kasuga."

"Wow, that's a beautiful name! Though, why did Yukari-sensei called you 'Osaka'?"

"Oh, that's mah old nickname, though only mah friends abandon it. Everybody else calls me dat, even the teachers."

"Well, at least your friends are much better than Yukari-sensei and especially Kimura-sensei, and Kurosawa-sensei did call you "Kasuga" a few times before."

"Yeah, mah friends are pretty good, 'cept Tomo-chan, she's a little crazy."

"Yep, I dealt with Tomo before. She's very rowdy, but she has a good heart."

"Ya think so?"

Kagura nodded, "Welp, I think we should hang out after school, maybe at the shopping district!"

"Dat's great! Ya can be properly introduced to mah friends, and Ah can introduce dem to ya."

"Well, it's settled then. After school, meet me at the shopping district along with your friends!"

"Okay, but one condition."

"What is it, Ayumu?"

"Ah wanna see ya in a dress."

"A dress?"

"Yeah, a dress. Any color, any type. All Ah want ya to do is be in a dress for our hang out dis afternoon."

And as the conversation ended, the next class started, and Kagura and Ayumu got out their textbooks.

After school and after swim practice, Kagura just came back home after talking to Sakaki. She lives with her grandparents, for she was born and raised in Okinawa before moving to Tokyo after her mother's death when she was 12. The death of her mother was such a traumatic event to her, but it reminded Kagura to stay strong no matter what happens to her. But now the only thing she needs to worry about is finding a perfect dress to wear. She looked into her closet to find a dress, but there was no dress in her closet.

Just as Kagura was about to give up, she saw an orange dress in the clothes pile. " Oh yeah, I forgot about that dress, " The tomboy thought as she puts on the dress. She then looked herself in the mirror, twirling around in her dress and smiling to herself. She then grabs some boots and a jacket and went outside to meet with Ayumu.

At the shopping district, the other girls were waiting for Kagura to show up, especially Ayumu, who was turning pink as she thought about Kagura.

"Ayumu!" Tomo shouted, "What are you thinking?!"

"Oh, Ah'm finkin' about Kagura-chan," Ayumu answered, "Why ya asked?"

"Well…" Tomo was about to continue, but she instead dragged Ayumu to a corner in the area.

"Tomo-chan, what's goin' with ya?" Ah haven't seen ya act this way before."

"I'm sorry for calling you 'Osaka' for an entire year. I thought that it was cute and funny, but after seeing how much Yukari-chan is abusing it. I'm sorry for dehumanizing you! I'm sorry-"

"Ah understand ya. Ya was tryin' to make me more comfortable in a foreign setting, but yer intentions were misguided."

"So, you're not going to-"

"Nah, I ain't doin' dat to ya. After all, nobody's perfect."

"So, aren't you two going to make out or something like that?" Questioned Kagura, who was behind the two girls, "With the way you're looking at each other, I have a feeling that-"

"Kagura-chan, ya are here just in time," Ayumu said, " And Ah like yer dress."

"Thanks," Kagura said as her face turned red, "Dad always said that orange always complements my hair."

"Uhm… are you going to make out?" Tomo asked, "Cause at this rate, Madam Big Boobs is going to-"

But the only response Tomo got was a black eye on her face.

In the shopping district, Ayumu and Kagura were chatting about some random stuff and getting some bonding time from doing stuff like going out to the arcade to play some games, eating some ice cream and taiyaki, and looking at some clothes at the local store. They then decided to sit on a bench next to the cherry tree, looking at the pink and white blossoms.

"Ah… them sakura blossoms are so pretty…"Ayumu commented, " As pretty as you, Kagura-chan."

Kagura then blushed, and then she wrapped her arms around Ayumu's chest. But then, she felt something hard in that area. It wasn't soft as skin, but rather stiff as duct tape. She has a feeling that something's wrong with Ayumu.

"Say Kagura-chan, " Ayumu said, "Ain't ya goin' to join me and mah friend to mah house?"

"Uhm, sure thing, Ayumu," said a flustered Kagura, "In fact, I never been to any of everybody in this little group's houses."

"Then you'll be in awe when you get to-" Tomo was about to explain to Kagura before Yomi smacked her on the mouth.

"Tomo, too much information!" Yomi said to Tomo, "Besides, let her figure that out herself."

"But Yomi-"

"No if's, and's, and but's!"
