A human soul wakes up in the abyss sea of Hallownest with no memory of how they got there. Undeterred, they embark on a dangerous journey to defeat the powerful Radiance. Armed with only their wits and strength, they navigate the treacherous world of Hallownest, determined to overcome any obstacle. Despite the overwhelming odds against them, the soul refuses to give up or give in.

The Knight is gone, Hallownest's citizens wake from their seemingly eternal slumber. Hornet is unsure of what to do with her birth cursed sibling, while she and the rest of Hallownest are bilssfully unaware of an unfamiliar, yet extremely familiar 'threat' that skulks around the Royal Waterways.
