Do you have a moment for me?
Because there's too much need for help, for help, for help…
Just a moment for me?
Because there's too much need for help, for help, for help…
Please, tell me, while the world cries, where's your God?
Long white hair of a woman clad in a black dress swung in front of the camera as she sang, her powerful voice carrying over through the microphone, and through the stage of the theater, and through every tv screen broadcasting the concert.
At her side, another white haired girl and her guitar, as her ponytail, and the elaborate veil on her shoulder bounced in rhythm with the song.
The camera moved on a close up of long and deft fingers moving on the keys of the piano, expertly played from the mysterious redhead whose face was hidden under the hood of her dress.
Behind them, the last member of the group and her trusty drum sticks lead the entire song, the bun of her black hair threatening to come undone so much she moved.
"They're so cool!"
"Daisy, don't move so much! You've almost knocked over the table and all the food."
"It's all right Dahlia, nothing happened." the big woman grinned at her friend as she reached over for more popcorn, holding out for Lily to share.
"These concerts are always an occasion to spend time all together too, so let's get along shall we?" Margaret laid her arm around Dahlia's shoulder.
For who doesn't care, I beg you, keep vigil and pray.
For every rebel who's right and doesn't break.
For who sits on the abyss, but looks down and says "no".
"I've never seen another band, especially not this young, that can be so versatile. These girls seem to be able to sing so well, and to master any instrument, and switch roles around when needed." Gerbera held her hand on her chin.
Even though, much like now, the standard formation seemed to be the long haired albino, well longer haired, A2 as the singer, the other albino, A4 as the guitarist, G16 the raven haired one at the drums, and S21, the redhead that always showed the least of her face, to the piano.
Or whatever other instrument needed, because she seemed to play plenty, even if the others did too, she looked like the most expert of the group.
She was as cryptic as she seemed good at what she did, and little was known of her, compared to the other trio of girls.
Safe to say interviews with her were more than rare.
Perhaps it was all part of the charm these girls wanted to have, with their dark clothing and pretty dresses, and most importantly, those blindfolds over their eyes, which brought the question, how did they see?
No one had ever spotted them without, ever.
Just as much as no one knew their real names either. A2, A4, G16 and S21 were just codes, for what? Also unknown. When live, they'd call each other just with the number, but that was about it.
They were best described as a mystery. And their management did a good job in keeping facts hidden as well.
For who does not use violence, but uses words.
For who does not give up at yet another hindrance.
For who is alive for a miracle.
For you, if like me, are alive for a miracle.
"It would be nice to know more for a change." Dahlia shrugged. "Most we know is that A2 and A4 are a couple."
Okay that they didn't keep to themselves, but it was pretty obvious as the guitarist and the main singer were often spotted in the backstage close, and even holding hands. And when interviewed they admitted it, A4 did, and A2 didn't correct her.
About G16 and S21 nothing was known about personal relationships people believed they were also a couple, for gossip reasons, but nothing was certain.
Little was also known about their songs, and their themes, but something about them, when they sang, made them sound heavy and real, resonating within the very cores of the people listening.
And to their hearts.
Look down, give hope to dreamers.
And the strength to build better days.
To whoever is cut out…
And looks at the sky like me.
"And once you know what would you do?" Anemone asked, casually taking a sip of her iced tea.
"Gossip, Anemone."
"I'm not interested in such things." but that got a snort out of Dahlia. "You speak as if your room isn't full of whatever you can find on S21. Come on, I've seen it."
Anemone growled, so much for inviting Dahlia over that one time when they've gotten out of the gym late, and it was dark outside so she offered to let her stay until morning for safety, since her apartment was closer.
She just had to snoop into her things…
Okay, her collection of pictures of S21 wasn't very well hidden, but still…
"She's exaggerating."
"No, I don't think I am." as Dahlia grinned, Anemone wanted to sink inside the couch. "You literally have every little picture available, from the biggest to the smallest thing ever, any kind of merchandise you can get your hands on, and every article printed out, and even recordings of her interviews."
"Someone is smitten here."
"I'm not!" Anemone growled back. "I'm just a fan all right?"
Just a fan, she was only one of her many fans, nothing more.
The aura of mystery the woman held so tight on her didn't help the case, she just wanted to know more, that's all.
That was all.
"Oh look, your crush is on."
And just to add to the humiliation, indeed S21 was the one at the front now, holding the mic with her usual poised grace, and that unlike the others, she was left handed.
At least that was known.
A soft and calm music accompanied her, calming, almost dreamy. A mixture of piano, xylophone and violin.

If someone closed their eyes, they could imagine a green scenery, a lush forest, or so it did to Anemone. Such was the power of the voice of this woman.
And of course, that mystical unknown language that only she seemed to know how to sing, and what it meant, if it meant anything.
Or at least, besides choruses, it was yet to be heard by her companions.
"I wonder what she's singing about." Lily said.
"No one knows what this language means, I don't think they ever said what it is, didn't they?" Gerbera asked, but all she got were shrugs and heads shaking.
"Maybe one day we'll know."
"In the meantime we can just enjoy watching." Margaret nudged the others to look at Anemone, who was absolutely captivated by the performance of the red haired woman on screen.
Doing as much as reaching out with her hand to try and take the singer's one, as she held her own in front while those unknown words went past her lips, as the camera showed her slowly swaying with the music from different angles.

"So much for denying it." Dahlia laughed as the others snickered.
That brought Anemone back to reality.
"I was not… you're all insufferable…"
"You're just too easy to tease, Anemone." Dahlia shrugged. "Besides there's no shame in having a crush." Daisy added.
"She's famous, Daisy. It's not like I'll ever meet her in person." she pointed at the screen, where now the group of girls all walked towards the front to leave their goodbyes and their thanks for the people that watched them perform, as S21's song was the last one of the night.
"Well, Anemone's right, we never even manage to even get the tickets for their concerts." Lily sighed. "There's either never enough money, or when we do have them it's usually sold out."
"That's true, their concerts are always so expensive, and the tickets always sell so fast, even if there's some left usually it's not enough for all of us." Gerbera added. "Because either we all go or no one does."
Because they were friends, and they were all fans, so they all went to the concerts or no one did.
"At least Daisy here has a big screen and a cozy place to stay to watch on tv." Lily held her arms around the bigger woman, which responded in kind, careful not to crush her.
It was true, Daisy had a local where they often came to, where Lily worked as her helper, where whenever there was a concert of the YoRHa Girls, such they were called, they could all organize and spend the nights all together in company.
A nice change of pace spent doing something they all enjoyed, for once. Something where even Dahlia and Anemone found common ground in, despite all the teasing.
"One day it will happen." Rose's voice made itself heard, as she stayed quiet all night.
"One day we'll be able to go see them live, I swear."
"So Anemone can finally meet her big crush." Dahlia swooned over in a mocking way. "What are you going to do when you see her? Give her a big kiss instead of asking for an autograph?"
"And getting dragged away by security and looking like a crazy person? I'm not an idiot like you, Dahlia." because if she did that that would very much be an accurate depiction as to what would happen after.
Besides, she wasn't stupid, nor unrespectful. Something Dahlia had a hard time understanding apparently.
If that would ever happen it would be a miracle if she could even speak to her to ask her to sign something in the first place.
"But as I said, it will never happen."
"Don't be so sure, Anemone. Didn't you hear A2's song? Have hope, you dreamer." Rose smiled down at her.
Even though chances of ever seeing the girls live were slim to none.
"We all need something to look forward to, to keep us going, no? It'd be boring not to have a dream, even if it's small, don't you think?"
Not like it looked like a small dream to Anemone.
"We all want to meet them for once in our life, maybe one day it will happen, wouldn't that be nice?"
"I want to have their autographs and expose them on the wall of my place." Daisy said with a bright smile. "Just so I can say I met them."
"And brag about it?" Dahlia frowned, receiving a nod. "Of course. It's a rare occasion."
"As if you wouldn't brag." Anemone scoffed, knowing Dahlia she totally would. "I seem to recall you said you wanted G16's drum sticks too, signed of course."
"Yes I did, but at least I'm not going to hide it like you try to hide your obvious crush on S21."
Anemone gave a sigh. "Is it really that obvious?"
"Just a bit." Margaret replied, sheepishly scratching her head. "And by that she meant a lot." Dahlia grinned.
"Didn't know you were so much into redheads."
"It's not that, you idiot." she growled. "So you admit it?"
"Fine, yes, I admit it." Anemone raked a hand through her short hair. "I just… like the aura of mystery surrounding her, she just seems… different from the other three, if it makes sense."
It had drawn her like a magnet.
It was like there was something about her she couldn't place, but that she had to know.
"Maybe. But now we should all rest up, tomorrow is another day of work for all of us, and that doesn't wait, nor does it care for the support we give to our favorite girl band." Rose reminded them, bringing them back to reality after she had been the one to start the conversation in the first place.
Well, it wasn't like they would ever meet…
Right?
