So here is a reworked chapter one. I hope you enjoy

Remnant: Forever Falls

Forever Falls, known to the inhabitants of Vale, was a forest in a permanent state of Fall. The surroundings were permanently colored in a beautiful crimson red, the sun shining through its red forest gaps, with birds flying overhead, singing a song they only knew. On the crimson-colored ground was a youth around seventeen. He has blonde hair and dark blue eyes with soft features that show a hint of naivety, wearing a set of old white armor over a black short sleeves hoodie while wearing blue jeans with black sneakers. To the boy's right lies a sword with a blue handle and a golden cross-guard; next to it was a shield in white with gold trimming on its front displaying Two golden arcs

Awakening from his slumber, the boy takes In his surroundings. Moments prior, he was unconscious, and currently, he was confused; he took a moment to start questioning why he was there.

Why was he lying here? What was he doing before he awoke here? It took him a while, but he slowly remembered that He and Dante were fighting the primary roots of the Qliphoth, and they had left Nero to watch over the human world.

But that wasn't right; he didn't know anyone named Nero. Also, What is a Qliphoth? Still confused, Jaune kept trying to remember what had happened to him just moments prior; from what he could recall, he and Team RWBY were fighting a bastard of a cat that had taken over Neo's body. But that doesn't sound right to him either, besides he doesn't know a Team RWBY. If he thinks about it for a little longer, he might remember something else. Okay, It was finally coming back to him. He was going to Vale to attend Beacon Academy and become a huntsman, to be a HERO like his ancestors before him.

Still not satisfied, he tries to go over what he knows about himself. "Okay, let's go over what I know. I am Jaune (Vergil); no, it's Vergil(Jaune)." he was unsure of why he was second-guessing himself. Jaune knows who he is, but not relenting, he continues to think, "Okay, let's see, my family, I have seven(one) Sisters(brother). What the, I don't have a brother, no I do have one, his name is Dante wait, who's Dante, my brother? No, I don't have a brother; yes, I do. What's going on?" terrified at what was happening to him, Jaune started to sweat; he was confused at why his memories showing three sets of memories

But not relenting, he pushes forward further into his mind, "Okay? Let's see what else; I am in my forties. I have a son, and His name is Nero; wait, that's not right. I'm only in my mid to late twenties; I've never been in a relationship to even have a son. No, that's not right either; I'm only 17. What's going on? Who's memories are these?" Jaune doesn't understand what is happening to him. It was like the people in these memories were those he knew and was close to but also not.

Confusion sets in just the same as fear, three separate groups of memories plage Jaune, one of him from a different time long passed, one from a life not his own, possibly the him who has reincarnated and then the current him who was but a teenager in over his head about what he should be doing with his life.

'What is happening to me? What led to this situation?" Jaune kept going further until, finally, he remembered what had happened to him. "That's right. I should be dead. How am I even alive." Jaune, now remembering, quickly checked his surroundings looking to see the Grimm that had killed him moments prior.

After a glance at his surroundings, he saw what seemed to be some black mud with a mixture of black and dark violet steam coming off it, possibly the Grimms remains.

His brain was finally kicking into overdrive. He thinks back to Moments before his current situation. He was on his way to Vale but decided to take a shortcut through forever fall, where he came across his first Grimm, a Beowolf, in its early stages, one that was purely black with no showing of bones coming off it.

It was common knowledge that Beowolfs were the most common of the Grimm, and for the average huntsman, Beowolfs would be considered cannon fodder, the easiest of the Grimm to eliminate. Even the weakest of huntsman can remove them.

It's when they're in a pack that there consider deadly, but to a civilian; they are considered death incarnate; even if it's only one Beowolf, it will take at most ten men to take care of one Beowolf, even if it's in its infancy when there are no bones on its body. At the same time, it would only take one huntsman to take care of three mature Beowolfs by themselves.

Jaune being only a civilian, was in over his head, hoping to be a huntsman with only a sword and shield combo with little to no combat training and no knowledge of aura. So when he came across his first Grimm, he panicked and reached for Crocea Mors, his ancestral sword whose scabbard mecha-shifted into a shield.

Placing his only source of defense in front of him, he managed to block the first strike that sent him back a couple of inches from where he last stood; feeling his bones rattling and the pressure of just one swipe, Jaune realized how screwed he was, but not backing down. He swings his sword toward the Grimm and lands a hit, or that was the intention. Instead, He hit only air as the Grimm came from below, lunging towards his neck.

He knew he was dead when he felt the Grimms open jaw on his neck. He felt fear and despair at realizing that he would die before his journey started, but even then, while feeling the excruciating pain of having his throat ripped out, he made one final swing toward the Grimm's neck. By sheer luck, he manages to decapitate it.

Grinning to himself, Jaune started to think back to his home, his family, and their reaction at seeing their missing son again, only as a corpse, which took his smile away only, leaving sadness and regret for going first.

'Mom, Dad, I'm sorry, and I love you. I wish I could've told you this myself before going first. I hope my sisters won't hate themselves for thinking that if they had stopped me sooner, I would have lived.' soon after, he started to lose consciousness; he would have died bleeding out if not for a burst of gold and blue light that emerged from his body the cloaked him in its soothing warmth that was all he felt as everything went dark.

Finally remembering the event before, Jaune tries to stand up, but for some odd reason, he feels different, like he gained a burst of newfound strength, like he could run a marathon without being tired. It was exhilarating. Smiling, he picks up Crocea Mors, turning his shield into its scabbard form and preparing to put it back in its sheath, but he notices something in the sword's reflection.

"what the?" confused at what he saw, Jaune reaches for his scroll and turns on the camera app; after turning it on himself, he sees what has changed about himself. His once-blonde hair now has streaks of white in it, not the white of an older adult but of pure snow, and his once dark blue eyes became a more piercing blue. How odd, although that wasn't the end of it, what once resembled a young boy with some baby fat now shows a young man with a more mature look.

(imagen volume 8 Jaune but with a more stern look like Vergil and with white streaks in his hair)

"How did this happen?" although confused with his changes, it didn't affect him much; in fact, he liked it; it made him seem more mature. Sighing, Jaune gave one more look at himself before getting up with his belongings and getting ready for the trail ahead.

Two days have passed since that day, and Jaune has been thinking about how he gained these memories. Was It mercy from the brother gods that sent Jaunes future self-memory back to Him, but then how did he get his reincarnated self-memory as well? Jaune still doesn't understand how he got it, but he will gladly use their knowledge for the future.

"Mr. Arc, breakfast is ready."

The voice of a young lady comes from outside his room. He had arrived at this village last night and quickly found an inn to rest in, which brought him here to 'Falls Inn and Tavern.' getting up from his bed, Jaune glances over to the door and replies, telling her that he'll be down in a minute and thanks her for breakfast.

After a quick shower, Jaune goes downstairs and sits at one of the open tables; once seated, one of the inn's servers comes by to give him his breakfast. He thanked her as she laid his meal before him, after which she smiled, telling him if there was anything he needed to call out to her; then, she went her way to serve other patrons.

Taking a look at the beautiful meal prepared, he digs in. The inn he was staying at was a quaint place that was being cared for by a small family a father who worked as the cook, a mother who was the barmaid, and their two children, one boy who helped take care of the stables and the other a girl who was the one who served him his breakfast.

When Jaune arrived at this inn, covered in blood, sweat, and mud, he mostly expected to be turned away but instead ushered in. They gave him a clean set of clothes while they cleaned his. Confused, he asked why they helped him, and all they told him was that this wasn't the first time a wandering huntsman came injured into their inn, so they helped whenever one went in. After all, most that stay in their inn are huntsman, and they wouldn't want to turn away a person in need.

Happily smiling, Jaune quickly finished his meal and left, not wanting to stay in one place for too long, although he did leave a large tip. After he had paid for his stay, he left with his old clean clothes and armor on. Jaune then went outside, strapping Crocea Mors to himself. He then turned, heading towards one of the open shops. Once inside, he quickly gathers everything he'll need for the track ahead. After paying for everything, Jaune leads straight to the village exit waving goodbye to the locals he walks past.

Reaching the exit, Jaune leaves for his journey begins now. "Now then, to Beacon."
