Set after Season 8, the Shaman Witch, with the help of the Creatures of the Darkness Dimension has taken over Alfea! On the run and on the hunt, the Winx must now achieve Elementix in order to fight off this threat. With most of their allies taken out, and with the darkness drawing closer to them every step of the way, can they even survive the looming darkness before they can even achieve Elementix?
Icy is trying to find a way to break the curse put on her planet. But just because she and her friends are witches, does not mean that the darkness will leave them alone. The Shaman Witch, in a fit of rage because she cannot access the Elementix Staff of Dyamond, hunts down Icy in order to gain access to it. Meanwhile, Darcy and Stormy are trying to track down their origins, and find some sense of belonging.
A story of homecoming, bravery, family, heartbreak, sacrifice and love as our fairies and witches try to find their way in the darkness.
