Authors Note: This is my first ever fanfic! I'm going to carry this on as a series for as long as I can. I would be planning to update at least once or twice every two weeks or so. Hope you enjoy!

The party had just barely begun and it already looked like a mad house. Andi was planning it since Cece had left for her "vacation". The night had finally arrived and was going as planned. The Good Hair Crew, along with Jonah, Marty and TJ, who surprisingly turned up with Kira. TJ and Kira were talking and looked like they were enjoying each others company. Cyrus was still staring and didn't even notice Buffy who he was standing right next to.
"You know that TJ doesn't like her right?" She had to yell because of the music. Cyrus jumped a bit and replied that he didn't know what she was talking about. Buffy rolled her eyes and retorted that his crush on TJ was obvious.
"I still don't know what you're talking about, TJ is just a good friend." At this point Cyrus was starting to redden, which didn't go unnoticed by Buffy.
"What ever you say Cy. Hey, wanna dance?" Trying to change the subject was easier than she thought. Cyrus looked between TJ and Buffy before looking back at her and smiling. Cyrus made his way to the dance floor, Buffy following close behind. Cyrus was a bit shy at first, but in the end was a dancing machine; in his imagination that is. All he was really doing was waving his arms around and moving his hips in random directions.
"Pffffft, hahahahaha" Kira started laughing at seemingly nothing.
"What is it? Why're you laughing?" TJ asked, perplexed at her sudden outburst.
"Look at the way Cyrus is dancing." She responded still laughing. TJ looked over to where Cyrus was and couldn't help but smile. He realized that she was laughing at Cyrus, and for some reason it made his blood boil.
"You can't do that!" He said more angrily than expected. She turned to him with a confused look. "What? You thought it was funny too, you smiled." She still looked confused.
"I think it looks fun not 'funny'." He shot back with a glare. Kira was taken aback, she was shocked at how protective he was of Cyrus.
"Fine. If you had to choose, would you pick me or Cyrus." She asked with a raised eyebrow. TJ face turned into one of disgust and then annoyance before finally saying, "Cyrus would never make me choose."
"I guess I have my answer then." She said as she sauntered off, leaving the party.
TJ went outside as the party slowly died down and people started to leave. Sitting on a cold bench in front of a campfire. He hadn't gotten to talk to Cyrus at all, and it bummed him out. Then out of the blue, as lady luck smiles down on him; he hears "Can I sit here?"
He looks up and sees his now confirmed crush smiling at him. Managing to stammer out a sure, Cyrus sits next to him. They sat there in silence for what seemed like an eternity, which was only a matter of two minutes Cyrus finally asks where Kira was.
"She left." He responds dryly; leaving Cyrus a bit confused by his tone.
"What happened? I thought you were having a great time." He continues his questions, knowing that if he stopped now he'd probably never get the answers later. TJ looked at him and sighed exasperated.
"She wasn't who I thought she was." This time with a little more anger in his voice, still thinking about what happened inside. He continues to say that he would've rather the night with someone else. Cyrus hums to show his understanding of the situation. Something bubbles up in Cyrus and he feels himself getting a bit braver and a bit shyer at the same time. Out of nowhere he asks, "I never thought you played piano." He was referring to the spectacle the had made of themselves earlier.
TJ chuckled, Cyrus was on a roll and didn't stop there. "There are a lot of things I don't know about you."
"I could say the same about you" TJ responds lamely.
