Sea: East Blue, Location, Dawn Island
Out of all the seas, the East Blue is considered to be the weakest of the seas, pirate activity is at an all-time low with minimal raids. Because of this, the east blue human population count is the highest compared to its relatives. Civilians worldwide will voyage out into the treacherous seas for months just to have the opportunity to live in the East Blue. With pirating at an all-time high it is only natural that they would seek safer grounds in order to live their daily life.
Yes, to civilians the east blue is the closest thing to heaven on earth. Most pirates who journey out wanting to make a name for themselves wouldn't want to touch the sea with a 100-foot pole as there is nothing to gain but meager treasures, and even more meager infamy. If one wants to be a true pirate then one would have to traverse any of the other seas, but they can't stop there, they will then have to sail to what is known as the pirate's graveyard where fame and fortune await those bold and strong enough.
And right here on this Dawn Island there's a boy whose dream is exactly that. To become the world's greatest pirate. To become the pirate king. And what is this boy doing exactly, well he's singing of course.
"1st verse
The islands in the south are warm...
And their heads get really hot...
They grow-a pineapples...
They grow-a coconuts...
And they're all idiots!"
The boy is known as Monkey D. Luffy. He's currently trying to find his way back home. As he fell off a bridge. Well, it is partially true. The whole truth is that he was pushed of by a mean kid named Ace, but he would never tell anybody that.
"2nd verse
The islands in the north are snowy...
And their heads get really cold...
They're very chilly-chilly...
They're very willy-nilly...
And they're all idiots!"
The song he made all by himself, he calls it the idiot song. The reason they're all idiots is because, well to him they're just stupid. If it's hot, then they should go somewhere cold instead of staying there and if it's cold then they should go somewhere warm. To others that explanation would seem completely ludicrous, but to him it made perfect sense. They don't like the way things are so they should change it by going on an adventure. Yup, perfect logic.
Currently he is at the edge of dawn island near the coast of the beach. He won't tell anyone, but he's kind of lost, but that's OK. He is going to be a pirate captain one day with the most amazing crew ever. And surely one of them will help him out with directions. His crew is going to be the best, as expected by a crew for the future King of the pirates.
As he was about to sing the third verse to his personal idiot song, Luffy stomach growled heavily. It hurts. He hates being hungry, but at the same time he loves it. He hates it because it drains his energy and makes him really weak, but he loves it because that means he can eat his favorite food in the whole wide world, meat.
Looking up at the sky carefully, he realizes that there probably only a few hours of daylight left. He has to hurry up and eat quickly and then go home, as the meaner, stronger creatures on the island will wake up and start hunting for their own meal. Quickly searching around it wasn't until what felt like an hour later that he finally saw something.
It was past the forest near the shore of the beach. He's never seen a creature like it before, but it's huge so it must be tasty. If he had to guess it was probably around the size of his grandpa, maybe smaller, and the best part about it is that it looks like it came from the ocean. Everyone knows that fish are dumb and never learn to walk, so it's easy pickings for him.
Walking toward it with reckless abandon he lunges at the supposedly black fish before he pauses mid sprint. Now that he looks at it carefully it doesn't look like a fish. It looks more like a bird. Maybe it's a bird fish or ooh no, a flying fish. That's smart if it can fly that means it can go right back into the ocean. Nodding his head at his deduction he opens his eyes and peers at the creature. Its wings are jet black, so black that it seems like it sucks in any light that comes in contact with it.
Unfortunately, that is all he can see. Its wings are huge, so it covers its entire body. Feeling curious, Luffy walked closer and lifted up one of its surprisingly heavy wings. He had to inhale deep breath to lift the thing up and what he saw nearly made him drop it. It wasn't a fish, nor was it a bird, it wasn't even a bird-fish. It was a person, more specifically a girl, and she looked really hurt.
If it were any other situation, he would be so excited to meet a new person. Especially one with dark skin, and giant wings, but even he knew that those injuries of hers are serious. He doesn't think he's even been that hurt, not even when Grandpa threw him in that forest full of raging monkeys.
Looking around he doesn't know what to do. He could run back to the bandits, but shook his head as they were mean, then he thought of Ace and shook his head even more furiously as he was even meaner. Now that he thinks about it, everyone he knew was mean. The only nice people he knew were Makino, who was too far away right now, and Shanks, who was even farther away.
Guess it's up to him. He's not sure what to do, but he at least knew he should take her away from this hot beach. He knows he shouldn't pull her by her wings, so he looks for one of her arms and grabs that instead, only to immediately recoil in shock falling on his butt.
'That feeling…. It felt like…. The ocean. That's impossible. An ocean person can't exist right.' Looking closely, he tried to touch her again only to realize that there was no effect. Looking down he grabs her arm again only to immediately see something. It is gray, really gray, and really shiny. He poked at it and recoiled in shock once more. It hurt a bit and he felt really weak for a second. There is no doubt about it. She's not an ocean person, but she has an ocean stone around her arm, both of her arms.
Well now that he knows what to not touch, he's going to make sure to avoid it. Crawling underneath her he immediately heaves her up allowing her front end to rest on his back.
"Hrmmmm." A groan of discomfort came from the bird person.
'Good at least she's alive.' Luffy thought.
She was too big so most of her body was still dragging on the ground. The part he is carrying though is her top end, and it is heavy. It's a good thing he didn't say that aloud though. Ms. Makino said it is not polite to talk about a girl's weight. Suddenly he's really glad grandpa didn't allow him to leave the bamboo forest until he beat 100 monkeys in an arm-wrestling contest. She really does weigh a lot.
(-)
'Finally, finally.' Luffy thought. Looking around he noticed the familiar patches of…. Nothing. He's still lost. Groaning in frustration he decided to rest the bird-girl down. At least he's not at the beach anymore now he's in a lot of forest.
"Grrrrr." His stomach growled heavily. Uuhhhh, he is still hungry. Looking around he tries to find something to help him out of this pickle. Anything will do at this point, he'll even eat the blahhhh, leafy greens if he has to.
"Rrrrrww." Looking in the direction of the noise he sees, a pig, but wait it has horns, or was it called tusk which makes it a boar right? Doesn't matter. What matters is that it has meattttt. His eyes sparkled in delight, but the boar took that as a challenge. Rushing towards him with wild boar quickly charges and aims to ram into him, but Luffy is prepared.
Winding his arm back and steadying his stance he threw his signature move.
"Gum-Gum: Pistol!" He screamed as his fist stretched out farther than humanly possible. Even the boar was surprised as its eyes bugged out in shock. Luffy smiles triumphantly…, only to have his fist miss completely and punch a nearby tree leaving a firm indent. Now it was his turn to look in shock, as if that attack had ever succeeded in the first place, and he really thought it was going to work this time too.
Realizing that its prey was inexperienced the boar quickly gained its composure and rushed in for another charge. Now it was Luffy's turn to grit his teeth as his arm wasn't finished retracting yet, and so he took the boar's charge head on knocking his straw hat off and sending him crashing against the body of the bird-person. Causing her to groan in pain.
This freaked Luffy out as he realized his mistake and how he only added injury to the person he was trying to save. This pissed him off profusely. He turned back to the boar who was coming in to finish the job. This time Luffy was serious.
"Gum-Gum: Normal Punch! Immediately Luffy swung his fist normally as his tiny fist indented into the boar's skull knocking out some of its teeth out and forcing its eyes to roll in the back of its head as it was sent crashing into the ground uplifting the dirt beneath it.
The boar was immediately knocked out.
"Tch, stupid pig." Walking over to pick up his hat. Luffy dusted it off before planting it neatly on his head. 'Haha cool'. He thought now he had meat. Now all he has to do is cook it. Luffy may not know a lot of things, but he does know that meat makes everyone feel better, right?
His answer was another groan from the bird person.

"MY ESTEEMED AUDIENCE ARE YOU ENTERTAINED!"
"WRAAAAHHHHHHHH!"
"That's what I like to hear. This fight is especially brutal and not to mention one-sided. Our very own crowd favorite 'Disaster Daniel' is giving it his all just to keep himself in the fight. It's quite a shocker folks considering Daniel is a veteran fighter in our esteemed playground, but his opponent just doesn't care seeing as they're mopping the floor with him! '"
"HAHAHA!"
'Shut up, shut up, shut up, Shut up!' These damn idiots, don't they think he knows that his opponent is strong, stronger than any person he's faced in this torturous hell they call a playground. He was quite the accomplished pirate before being brought here, and he's defeated quite the number of opponents during that time. He knew he was never the strongest pirate. He wasn't even a captain, but he was aware that he was powerful, and his belief was further enhanced when he fought the opponents here.
They were strong of course, and he never escaped unscathed, but he always won and that was the only thing that mattered here, winning. For if you lose…..
He doesn't want to think about it. All he knows is that he needs to win, but HOW? This damned freak, they think they're hot shit just because he can't see them. He doesn't know what type of fruit can make someone shoot fire and become fucking invisible, but that's beside the point. The invisibility isn't really the issue. It's a pain to deal with for sure, but his Observation Haki alerts him to the fucker's attack. No, what is pissing him off is that he knows he landed several solid hits on this asshole and yet they keep on getting up. It felt like he was hitting solid steel, rather than the familiar feeling of human flesh.
Shit, here they come again. Three fireballs twice the size of an adult's head descended upon him. Swinging his trusty halberd. He blocked all three of them with minimal movement, and just in time as his observation was tingling, notifying him that a right punch to the left side of his face was approaching. Quickly throwing his head forward the freak punch missed completely and at that moment he smiled viscously as he rotated his body and swung his halberd in on a smooth arc aiming straight at where he sensed the bastard.
"Clang! Tch, there it is again." Tightening his grip, he swung with even more gusto and sent the invisible bastard flying to the wall. Again, it felt like hitting steel.
"CRASH!" A human size hole nearly twice his size emerged from where he sent them. Twirling with his weapon he waited for them to come out, as going to them seemed like a bad idea.
"OHHH, AND IT LOOKS LIKE DANIEL HAS MADE A COMEBACK AND ADAPTED TO OUR BELOVED PHANTOMS, INVISIBILITY FOLKS, THAT'S GOTTA HURT!"
Ignoring the commentary, Daniel keeps his eyes focused on the hole in the wall, waiting for them to continue. No matter how he looks at it, he can't figure it out. He's heard about them. An invisible fighter, who tears apart their enemies with petty surprise attacks and trickery. It's not uncommon, and it is not such a big deal for anybody with a modicum of battle experience. You don't even need Haki for this opponent, yes, everything about this person reeks of inexperience. They probably were born with a gifted body and got lucky and ate a good devil fruit on top of that, but they never fought anyone even slightly on their level before being put in this arena.
On top of that he can sense it. Anyone who's capable of wielding Haki can sense the Haki of others. It is one of the few skill sets that can tell you whether you're biting more than you can chew, and as he's fighting this person, he can sense… nothing. They have no Haki on them whatsoever. This only further his belief that he can win, but it doesn't explain how they are able to withstand his Haki infused attacks.
"Crumble." Tightening his grip on his weapon he braced himself for the next round but was shocked at what he saw. The fact that he could actually see them.
They were big, about 6ft and had two midnight black wings with fire sizzling almost soothingly on their back with snow white hair that was cut short. They wore nothing more than a black drape which didn't even hide the fact that they were barefoot. Finally, and oddly the most notable characteristic about them was the starch white mask they adorned with a fucking smiley face of all things.
It's weird. Although they're the size of a grown man, their arms and legs are so dainty, scrawny. Nothing like the well-muscled men and women he normally sees. Their physique is almost like a child's.
"Swoosh!" Seems like they're ready again. Raising his halberd, he thrust it in their direction only to have them perform a front flip mid-air and a miniature flame erupted at the back of their foot propelling their leg at a surprising speed which effectively got them in range to kick his halberd directly out of his hand. Once he was disarmed, they kneed him in the gut with their other leg and consumed him in a mighty bear hug.
Shit, he didn't think they were this fast. Their sudden speed was surprising, and it caught him off guard, but he knows he won't be caught a second time if he can just escape this hold.
As he struggled, he heard a voice. It was a small fragile thing that didn't belong in this arena.
"I'm sorry." His haki warned him before his body could react. He had no time to cast full armament. He.. was he going to die?
"BOOOOM!"
"WOW, WHAT A SHOCKER FOLK. I KNOW WE ALL FELT THAT IN OUR EARDRUMS. Our phantom has deployed one of the crowd favorites. Affectionate Detonation."
"The name speaks for itself folks, nobody has ever survived this attack, and it seems Daniel isn't special as he's dead just like the ones who came before him. It's gruesome, but let's be honest we would have it any other way!."
"WRAAAAHHHHHHHH!"
"Give it up for our beloved phantom. May they give us even more gruesome deaths in the future!"

Fire was her only comfort in this world. It was her blessing, it was her sanctuary, and yet at the same time it was her curse.
It was why she always had mixed feelings about the subject and why she both embraced, and rebuked it, and right now she's embracing it. She doesn't know why, but there is a flame right next to her, its warm heat soothes her, and it makes the nearly unbearable ache lessen slightly. This pain is nothing new. Pain is all she's ever known since coming into this world, and just like all those other times, she persevered, because she wanted to live. Even after everything they've done to her. She refuses to ever let them break her spirit.
But the question remained, where did this fire come from? She didn't make it. She's far too weak to make any flames right now, so if she didn't do it. WHO DID!
Immediately jumping up from her faced downed sprawled position she looked up or more specifically down to see… a boy? Tilting her head at her, he looks familiar.
"Wow, you're awake." He marveled. " I knew it. Meat is the food of the Gods. Its recovery powers are so powerful that just smelling it can make you feel better."
She tilted her head at him. Recover, meat, what is he talking about? However, she noticed something even more concerning. The cool breeze hitting her face, was hitting it a bit two freely. Putting a hand to her face she realized… it was bare. Where is her mask?
Feeling all over her body, she searches only to find…. Nothing!
Immediately she rushed at the boy and grabbed him by the throat, pushing him into the ground. The fact that she is choking out a literal child is the very least of her concerns.
"Where is it kid, what did you do with it?" she questioned as she strangled the boy with one hand. He struggled to fight back, but her grip only tightened. She expected to see fear in his eyes, and the fact that his life is slowly slipping, but instead. All she saw was determination, to overcome her grip, and irritation, that he couldn't. She doesn't know why, but she immediately let go after seeing such resolve from one so young.
Immediately he took deep breaths as she stared at him in a daze. Finally, he turned towards her in anger.
"What the hell! That is not how you treat someone who is going to share his meat with you." He said while grinding his teeth in frustration. " I don't know what you're talking about, or what you're looking for, but whatever it is I didn't take it!"
'Is this brat serious, he was just helpless a second ago and was literally going to be killed by her, yet he just looks at her like…like… she doesn't know. This feeling is, what is it?' Clutching her chest, she noticed the familiar weakness enclosed on her wrist. Tch, the sea prism stone. It's still there mocking her as usual.
"Hey, jerk, I'm talking to you. Who are you?" he seems to be annoyed. Who is she? She's nothing, right, nothing but a number. At that thought it was her turn to grit her teeth in frustration.
"Why should I tell you?" She questioned. At her remark the boy looked up smugly as he casually rubbed his nose. "Because I'm the one that saved you."
Saved? Now that she was actually conscious, she started looking around, she noticed. She's no longer seeing stone cold walls, or bloody sandpits, or loud greasy, obnoxious, cruel, royalty. Just a forest. A forest. Nothing more. She did. She's no longer there. She finally escaped…
"Hey are you ok." Looking at the boy she wondered what he meant, until she felt her cheeks. They were moist. Moist? Oh, she was crying. She tried to rub them out, but new tears quickly took the place of old ones only leaving a steady stream. She told herself she would never cry again. She told herself she would never show weakness again. She told herself tears only made them happy. So why, why can't she stop? So, what if they're not here? She, she, she.. can't.
Suddenly she felt a tight embrace on her right leg. The boy, he's hugging her leg. Why? Those charcoal eyes looked up at her with steely resolve "I'm told I always cry a lot. That I'm a crybaby and how I shouldn't cry, but I also know that it's really, really hard to stop them when they start to, and when they happened to me, I always thought how nice it would be if someone were to give me a hug. So as doctor Luffy I'm certain this will make you feel better." He said as his arms tightened.
He seems to have forgotten that she's injured. That his hug is actually doing more harm than good, but at that moment she didn't care. She had no control of her following actions. All she wanted was warmth, and this child offered it to her with open arms, and she lapped it up greedily as she gave him her own tight embrace and let loose the water works. He didn't say anything else; he didn't have to. His presence was enough.
This total stranger has given her more warmth than anybody else in this wretched world for the past 11 years of her life. So of course, she took it. Even if every fiber of her being said it's too good to be true. She still took it like a fool not caring for the possible consequences.
She did it. She finally escaped.

'Girls are weird.' Luffy thought. The first thing she does when she Wakes up is attack him, and then immediately starts crying after. Ms. Makino was right when she said girls are complex creatures.
Currently, he is munching on a huge piece of meat as he's looking at her nibbling a small piece. She seems to like covering her face with her hand a lot as she eats, which is weird, and she also likes to mumble to herself. Doubly weird.
At least she doesn't seem as sad as before. Her mood would have made the meat taste bad.
"Thank you." Luffy heard a whisper. Looking in the direction it came from he saw the bird girl with her face still covered with her left hand speak in his direction. "Thank you, for everything you've done."
At that he smiled. "ShiShiShi! No problem" he said simply. Looking at her she still looks really hurt, but if she won't talk about it, he won't either, besides meat will heal it up real nice.
"Hey, hey. Tell me where you came from?" He said with a tilt of his head.
….
Silence. Was she not going to answer him? Oh, maybe it was one of those secrets. Secrets are cool too.
"Some… some place, I never want to go back to." She said as she nibbled on her meat again. That only gave him more questions.
Looking up at the sky. He stood up in shock. It's night-time.
"Oh noooo!" He screamed, clutching his hat in dread and pondered how he was going to get out of this dilemma. This isn't good. At night-time the really strong animals come out. Really, really strong. He tried fighting them once, only to almost end up as someone else's meat.
What should he do? If he goes out right now to look for the bandit's hut then he's pretty sure he'll be killed, but if he stays here in one place for the night then he's definitely going to be killed. Also, looking up at the girl she's just watching him, as he had his little outburst. Her hand is still covering her face, but there's no doubt about it, she's watching him.
He doesn't want to leave her. She's the only person who actually talked to him for more than a few minutes in months. Even though they barely said anything. Maybe he can finally make a friend. Wait, maybe he can make her join his crew. To have a bird person join would be sooooo cool.
"So do you live here by yourself?" Interrupted from his thoughts he thought about her question. Shaking his head. He answered.
"No, I live with bandits." He said simply. At that her hand dropped. Why he didn't know, but what he saw was really amazing. She had messy bunny white hair, which reached down to her neck, dark skin similar to chocolate bars, that seemed to glisten in the light of the fire, and finally there were her eyes. Luffy never saw red eyes before, to see that his new friend has got such cool looking eyes is really awesome.
"You live with bandits huh. Someone as young as you. Does that mean you're a bandit now or are going to be a bandit in the future." Shaking his head. Luffy stuck out his tongue in disgust.
"Heck no! When I'm older I'm going to become a pirate and set sail out on the seas for the greatest adventure."
"…."
"You want to become a pirate." Nodding his head in affirmation. Luffy raised his chest high.
"Yup, but not just any pirate. I'm Monkey D. Luffy, and I'm going to be the king of the pirates!" He exclaimed loudly.
"..." even more silence followed.
"Humorous, utterly humorous." Tilting his head at the unfamiliar word Luffy decided to voice his confusion.
"What does that mean?"
"It means that I find you funny."
"Hey! Are you laughing at my dream, bastard!" She tilted her head with that same look of what was it called again, in, in, indiff, indifferent. Yeah, he'll go with that. Her face was indifferent from the moment she woke up, even when she was choking him.
"No, it's just, I finally got a better understanding of a question I've been asking myself for years."
"Oh, did you solve it?"
"Not…. Not really."
(-)
One piece. She... she. Sigh, after all this time. After her death, after her so-called life. She's finally figured out where the hell she is. In the one-piece world. This should answer most of her questions that she's built up, but that would imply that she's actually watched the show.
That's right she was an anime watcher who never watched One Piece because of the unoriginal excuse that it was too long. Oh she saw a few fights here, a few episodes there, and read few concepts wayyyy over there, but that's about it. The only thing she was confident in was that she knew the main character was named Luffy, he lived in a world where pirates are the norm, and he wanted to be the king of all those pirates. How does that even work she had no idea.
That's it. Everything else, non-existent. Which was why she was so shocked, shocked about that place, shocked about this world. Ever since she got into this world, her only goals were to survive. She learned to fight in order to persevere in that hell.
Suddenly she's really regretting not watching the show.
"Hey, hey, are you listening?" Her thought Interrupted, she looked u0 to see the boy pouting at her. No not boy, Luffy was his name.
"Apologies, I was lost in thought, please can you repeat yourself." She answered seriously.
"I said it's time for us to go. It's night-time and if we stay here, the mean animals are going to make us their meat."
"Apologies, but if that's the case then why dont you just leave. There is no need to concern yourself with me. You've already done more than you needed by bringing me here." At that he tilted his head at her in confusion.
"What do you mean? You're coming with me, after all we're friends right." Shaking her head, she looked at him sternly. She was really grateful for what he did, but she had to nip this in the bud while she could.
"We are not friends. We're strangers who don't even know the first thing about each other, nor should we even bother to try. I'm really grateful for what you did, but don't confuse me for an ally."
"WHAT! What do you mean we're not friends. That's not how this works, everyone knows that you're immediately friends with someone when you share meat. It's common sense. There are no take backs, whether you like it or not we're friends and that's final. " She couldn't help it, she really couldn't. Despite her stoic nature her eyes widened in shock at the sheer magnitude of stupidity, selfishness, and naivety all rolled up into one.
"Where did you learn something like that?"
"Like I said, it's common sense, so everybody knows that. Well, everybody but you I guess, so maybe it's not so common for you."
Did he just call her stupid! Never in either life has she met such an outrageous brat. Shaking her head, she decides to ignore it.
"Yeah, that's right I don't know it, so I'm going to run by what I do know, and what I know is that you shouldn't get involved with me anymore, understood. Believe me I'm nothing but trouble, go try to be a pirate away from me."
"So, you're saying you refuse to come with me."
"That's exactly what I'm saying. I refuse to go with you, so please leave me al-"
"Well, I refuse your refusal." Luffy said as he interrupted her with a stubborn frown.
What? What the hell did he say? He refuses my refusal to go with him. The hell does that mean? Who even says stuff like that. You know what that's fine. She knows how to deal with outrageousness.
"That's OK. You can refuse all you want, but let me ask you something? Who's going to make me?" She said with a deadly stare.
"..." silence. That's what she thought. there no way he can-
"Obviously yourself." he said unflinchingly as he peered at her with those wide obsidian eyes. His answer…was not what she was expecting.
"But I said I wasn't going to go."
"I know."
"But you said. I'm going to go by myself."
"Yup."
"Then who's going to make me?" she questioned again.
"Yourself of course."
At this time there was a stare down, between two youths. Scarlet eyed frustration vs cool unwavering obsidian.
"Why won't you leave me alone?"
"Why do you keep making me repeat myself? We shared the meat, so we became friends. As a friend I can't leave you here knowing your covered in injuries."
"So, if I to wherever you take me, will you leave me alone then."
At that she saw the most unbelievable expression. His head was turned to the left while his eyes and mouth followed suit, and he started whistling of all things.
"O-o-of course I w- will."
"You're a terrible liar." She said in a dead monotone as she pointed at him in frustration. Throwing her arms down, she winced in pain. In her careless frustration, she accidentally grazed the sea prism cuffs on one of her more serious wounds. Sigh, if only she could get these damned things off. Her pain didn't go unnoticed.
"See your hurt, if we go back to the bandits, we'll get medicine and bandages, and maybe even get those collars off of you."
"Collars?"
"The collars on your wrist. I don't like them, they hurt really bad." He stuck his tongue out in apparent disgust.
Shaking her head, she decided to clear his misunderstanding." First of all, these aren't collars. These are handcuffs, sea prism handcuffs to be more precise. They're not for ordinary people as they're meant to restrain people who've eaten devil fruits. The fact that you're hurt by them means you've eaten a devil fruit as well."
"Yup." he answered in apparent joy. She was beginning to understand that that was probably his default mode.
"I ate the Rubber-Rubber fruit. Which turned me into a Rubber person." As proof he grabbed his cheek and stretched it way farther than humanly possible. Had she just arrive in this world, she would have been insanely freaked out, but now she just looks at it with indifference."
Letting his cheeks retract his eyes sparkle with curiosity. "So, you ate a devil fruit too. That's awesome, I've never met someone else who's eaten a devil fruit. Hey show me, show me. What does your fruit do?" He said as he got really close in her personal space.
'He is so energetic.' She thought. Shaking her head, she pushed his face back. "Like I said. These are meant to constrain people with devil fruits. Sea prism is a material that trapped the power of the sea into a stone. Anyone who's wearing them will have their abilities nullified and be severely weakened." She explained.
" So, it's basically a bad stone." He said as if it summed up everything. Her eye twitched in response, but she decided to just roll with it.
"Sigh, yes it's a bad stone."
"Welp come on, we got to go and do something about it." He said with utter confidence.
"Do, do you have a plan to get it off?"She said with a twinge of hope.
At that he looked at her and smiled. "Shishishi, nope." and with that he continued walking expecting her to follow him.
Sigh, picking herself up, she grudgingly decided to follow. She didn't realize it at that moment, but Luffy was right.
It really was herself that chose to go with him.

And… scene. This has been swimming in my head for a bit, and just wouldn't not leave. Lunarians are cool and badass, and If I had to choose there easily my favorite race. It used to be Fishmen though.
Anyways chapter 1 for this story. Hope you guys liked it.
Also, what's your favorite race?
