Black.
This was of the sky's color. Several blood-red stars were strewn all over. The center was occupied by a giant-sized grey star. Around it swirled black with white tips dyed flames, the air cold and humid, the odor of fresh blood lingering in the air.
The fresh breeze passed past a person standing in the center of a blood-soaked white-flowered meadow. Blood-drenched hair that hid the correct color of his straight hair, hiding his ears and reaching the eyes. He was wearing a closed tattered black haori coat printed with a wide line of white doing down from the neck to the knees with an emerald green outline.
Two white thick shoulder plates cross in the middle of the back, reaching the hips and shoulder to cross as the chest's center. Below the sash, was tied a loose hakama pant. By the hips were attacked, who Two dark-bluish thin boxes with a thin piece of metal sticking out of a slot with two holes punctured on it.
Wrapped around the neck was a black scarf with a similar pattern as the kimono. The eyes were covered by his hair. 2 katanas were located to his left hip. Both harbored different appearances. On his back was attached an enormous double-edged sword wrapped in bandages. The handle had a long school embedded serving as a guard and a rough black handle with a green gemstone on the end.
The amount of corps piled up together, each different in appearance from the other. Some had a humanoid figure, another beastly one. But that didn't matter. White spark-like particles started spewing out, their corps slowly decaying.
Fight. Kill. Survive. Improve. Adapt. Overcome.
Those words alone resumed the current mindset that plagued him.
Upon hearing suspicious noise around, he gripped one of the katanas. its scabbard had an emerald green diagonal stripe going all the way down. The guard showed a Rectangular appearance rounded around the edges with a bright orange outer line and a red inner line split by a black stripe. The handle was overly torn with the string ripped at parts.
Humanoid creatures surged out from the blooded ground, roaring out of instinct, dashing toward the masked individual as they readied their scythes. Griping onto the handle, his mouth partially open, air getting sucked in, veins bulging on the side of his cheeks.
He started with the upcoming threat coming from behind. The scythe was getting close. The demon produced a sound akin to a snarl, thinking about killing our mysterious swordsman.
Quickly spinning around, he whipped out the blade, using the initial draw to swing the blade towards its left leg, effectively slashing the upper part of the femur. The scythe hasn't stopped its way to him to behead him.
He flexed his legs crouching down on the ground, ducking under the swipe, bending backward as he executed a graceful backflip with his hair flipping over, revealing a black armor His backflipped purposely kept low the height of his jump too few inches, black lightning motive, ruby red cloud on the eye's emplacement. He remains in the same crouching position. Seeing the demons still not defeated, his chin slightly bent down.
The air became colder.
Much colder.
After the initial strike, he blitzed forwards, disappearing briefly before his blade contacted its throat. The head fell to the ground as the surrounding demon watched their cogener fall to the ground headless revealing the responsible.
Standing tall, his back facing them, his haori coat slightly flipping over, on the lower part was drawn in red the letters "I" "H" "M" and "K ", the H and K being crossed by black lines. Between his fingers, who spun the handle resulting from the blade spinning gently as the blood that coated the sharp to be shaken off before placing the sharp against the Koiguchi before slowly sheathing the blade back.
Before anyone could make a move, the ground broke under his feet with a whooshing sound echoing.
The chest bent forward as his feet and right hand got engulfed by orangy-yellow flames. Landing onto the first demon's liver, drawing out his blade engulfed in yellow with orange-reddish outlines of flames. His grip tightened, opening his mouth inhaling a large amount of air as veins popped out from his cheeks. He pivoted his feet to the right; he followed by a spin while slashing widely his blade the blade down the foe's neck.
He then jumped to the right, knocking the headless corpse down onto the floor. Upon landing he slid in direction of another before his sword blazed brighter, the glow reflected in his visor. He then sliced both of his legs, resulting in an ear-piercing scream for the creature. Gaining in concentration, he slashed upward with flames following the strike, beheading him. His figure blurred as it bolted towards one and bounced off two each creature as the same showed a zig-zag wavy pattern showing his path.
Several bodies fell limp to the ground, already decaying.
He noticed that the next batch was coming, but he still had time to prepare himself. He slowly looked down slightly gripping onto his scarf, harboring what could be recognized as a solemn expression judging by his mouth. His gaze shifted to his katana. Pulling it upwards, out of his sash with the right hand, the handle, the other, the sheath.
A portion of the shining black blade shun as it mirrored his face.
"Not yet." He told himself,
Hordes of creatures surged out of the floor as they roar out, racing toward our swordman.
"I promise I will move forward until they are taken down. Don't worry, brother," he mouthed before lunging towards his foes.
The sun shone all around the city, no clouds could be seen, the sound of nearby cars could be heard with no other abnormal event showing the calm of the city. Inside a child's daycare stood a green-haired boy with emerald-colored eyes wearing a sky blue shirt and grey pants, on his foot were red snickers with white soles. His hairs were messy as if a tornado passed by and left only chaos behind itself, 4 freckles on each cheek forming a diamond-like pattern, those same cheeks harbored a notable amount of baby fat. Beside him was a little girl of the same height as him, shoulder-length silky blond hair with several forest green coupled with turquoise-colored-eyes. she wore the same shirt as the green-haired boy and pink pants with blue shoes. Both's gaze was directed towards the same location, a girl with ash-blond hair with ruby red eyes wearing the same top as all other kids present in the daycare with orange pants and grey shoes. All kids had a 5 branch with a white point at the center. Along them crowded the entire class, looking at the ash-blond-haired girl who has a minor explosion sparkling off her hand. Everyone was in awe of the girl's new ability.
"A flashy quirk for a future pro-hero!" chanted one of the teachers which was a long-brown-haired woman with a slightly sharp face and a mature enough physique. She wore a black sweater with a black apron, she was lowering herself by inspecting the girl's hand.
"Kacchan, your quirk is awesome!" The green-haired boy named Izuku Yagi spoke to his friend at the sight of her explosion quirk that she just showed his face, sparkling in admiration.
The blond girl pipped up, jumping in front of Izuku with some pens floating just above her hands, slightly hovering by a few inches.
'My quirk is amazing because I'm amazing,', the ash-blond named Katsumi Bakugo told herself as she remembered all those praises she got from everyone.
The girl looked at him with a taunting smile.
"Yeah, but no matter what you're gonna get will be, they will never be as strong as mine. Your sister has a half-decent quirk," Katsumi taunted, full of pride. Her words formed a pout on her friend's face.
"My sister as an amazing quirk too, you know? When I will get my quirk, you will see that it's gonna be just as good as yours! "he
Izuku was on a small chair wearing black pants and a blue shirt. He held an All Might Figurine in his hand with an excited expression on his face. His face showed a mixture of excitement, stress, and happiness. Beside him was seated his mother Inko Yagi, A woman that appeared to be in her late 30th having a sharp face with emerald green eyes, khaki green hair tied into a bun at the back of her head wearing a black dress that had a flowered grey pattern running from her shoulder to her hip along with some black shoes.
Both of them were waiting in front of a dull sheen door, waiting for their turn to test Izuku and see what his quirk was.
"Mrs Yagi, please come in." A voice came from the opening door, calling them.
The older woman took Izuku's hand and passed the door with her child. The chair in front of a computer was occupied by an old man that had a large whitish-grey mustache that spiked outwards, a pair of glasses over the eyes with circular green lenses, and no hair present on his bald head. He was wearing a lab coat slightly tattered on the ends, Black jeans, and business grey shoes.
"Good afternoon Sir." Inko greeted the old man slightly bowing doing so with her son doing the same saying" Hello Doctor", his face sparkling.
Moving a mouse connected to his computer browsing the timetable of the day." Greetings, I'm Doctor Tsubasa. Nice to meet you." After a few clicks, he push his seat backward and gazed at Izuku." You took an appointment to see what's this young boy quirk is, right?"' His question was answered by Izuku, cutting off his mother's response.
Still holding the hand of his mother, he jumped around in pure impatience. "I haven't shown signs of my quirk, so Mom took this appointment so see what's my quirk since Icchan had a telekinesis quirk."
Tsubasa quirked an eyebrow at the unknown nickname. "Icchan?" the older Yagi pipped up "His twin sister Izumi, she recently got her quirk."
"Oh? In this case, we will start by testing Izuku. Sit on this exam couch kid.!" he urged the little kid.
After a few seconds, Izuku was sitting while Tsubasa was opening some drawings picking up some syringes while Izuku was looking at his mom with his legs swinging forwards and backward.
The moment Izuku's gaze fell upon the syringe.
His world froze.
Hands started progressively to shake uncontrollably, his lungs absorbed the surrounding oxygen in an unstable manner and his leg started to grind on the couch, putting distance between them.
Inko saw Izuku's behavior as her emerald green pupil shrunk and her body bounced out of her seat towards Izuku. She embraced him in her arm, attempting to calm him. Tsubasa turned around to see the scene that happened. His expression briefly lost his composure before rushing to help the little boy after placing the syringe on the table.
Getting closer to Izuku's position and following his gaze, that remained on the item that he was about to use.
"Are you alright ?!"
The green-haired boy felt the warmth of his mother's embrace slowly stabilizing his breathing and his shaking. Tears trickled down his face from the corner of his eyes. Tsubasa's brain found the most plausible conclusion. "It seems that you have a phobia of syringes." He commented with an analytical gaze while brainstorming the workable solution to test Izuku without having the risk of a potential panic attack.
"S-sorry s-sir, I c-can't-" The trembling voice of Izuku was heard as the doctor just smiled at him and said, "Don't worry about it, I wasn't aware that you would panic at the sight of it. But now we will have to do it the other way. Just lay on your stomach, look at the wall and relax." Inko let go of her son while he placed himself in the stomach and did as instructed.
Izuku felt the needles pierce his skin as the liquid was injected.
At this moment, he didn't know why he was worried. But not for himself.
Tsubasa pulled out the needle before applying a patch." Now the liquid should stimulate Izuku's quirk factor and now we can see if something happens."
The hairless man opened a metal door in the room's corner, revealing a bed below some machinery that looked like an x-ray machine
Izuku was lying on the bed at the mechanical arms of the Tsubasa pressed down buttons on the keyboard, turning on the machine that made an audible *bip* before readying itself. The perispherical captors at each arm's end. They moved above Izuku, scanning his entire body. The green line on his body, moving from his foot to his head, not leaving any part unscanned.
The arms removed the scanners as Izuku sprung out of the bed. And ran to her mom, who was sitting next to her.
"Please wait in the other room while I gather the results "
While the printer in Tsubasa's computer screeched as the paper came out of a slit, piling onto themself over the table while the doctor gathered different paper while inserting them inside a folder.
While Izuku and Inko were sitting on the seat waiting for the result. Looking at his mom in wonder.
"What quirk do you think I have?" Izuku questioned the older Yagi on the nature of his quirk. The mother affectionately ruffled her son's hair while whispering, "I don't know, sweetie, we need Tsubasa-san to see what its quirks, but if I had a preference. I'd say a strength quirk, your sister has a telekinesis quirk. She might be strong attacking from far away but in close range, she has a disadvantage if any villain gets close, so that way you can punch the villain away from her." She then cupped both of his cheeks, a smile plastered on her face as he spoke again.
"Izuku, it's a big brother's job to protect the younger sibling and, more importantly, your little sister. Can you promise that to me ? "
The boy looked back at the older woman, harboring a smile on his own.
"I promise mom."
The door opened up, revealing Tsubasa walking up to his seat as he held a yellow folder.
He next sat down in his seat while looking at Inko.
"Tsubasa-san, what are the results?" Inko asks feeling the slight tension in the air.
"What is my quirk, Sir?" Asked Izuku, clearly shaking from excitement as he held his All Might figurine.
"I'm sorry but that won't happen." The man declared that the situation was hopeless.
Izuku was on his small chair as he dropped his All Might Figurine with a rigid expression on his face. His face showed the same expression of shock with no movement.
The green-haired mother had no words coming out of her mouth. She eyed her son now, knowing what to say.
Dr. Tsubasa looked at the boy with pity. "When quirks emerged, humanity reached a new stage in their evolution, their body discarded useless genes." He picked the folder that was over the desk opening, pinching the corner of a sheet and carefully removing it, revealing an x-ray." When studies on quirks advanced, scientists found a correlation between the presence of a quirk factor of an individual visible part of the human bodies. We eventually found out that in that new evolutional state, we discarded the second pinkie toe present in our foot. "He further explained as he showed the results of Izuku's x-ray.
It showed multiple photographs of his left feet and he pointed his finger at a pinkie toe that had 2 joints."Sorry but I can affirm that Izuku has no chance of developing a quirk."
Inko's voice piped up, slightly panicking. As for Izuku, he was still frozen. Listening but not acting.
"If that's true, how do you explain that his twin sister has a quirk? Twins are both from the same egg cell !"
Tsubasa moved his middle finger on his googles adjusting them as the lens flashed white." Well, it's common that when twins are born, most of the time there is one of the two that inherits the quirk, and the other is born quirkless. We are in presence of such a case."
Everything has been said. Tears have already formed in the young boy's eyes as his hope of having what he waited for the most has been broken. And surely never to return.
His mother simply wrapped her arms around him in a vain attempt to comfort her son.
"Thanks you Tsubasa-san." Inko bowed slightly before grabbing Izuku's strengthless arm and leaving the room.
The way back was silent. Izuku walked with no sound coming out of him. Inko was distraught with the news but she knew Izuku was taking this way worse than her. The sky was nearly pitch black, with the stars and the moon shining brightly, offering a source of natural light.
Izuku looked across the street. A small lamppost's light flickering in front of a hero agency. Reminding him further of his fresh diagnosis.
Both arrived in front of their house. Standing before them was a 3 story height white building with black tiles arranged in a wavelike manner. In front of the outer door was placed a medium-sized courtyard with a perfectly cubic bush. The entire area was surrounded by metal fences.
Inko wiped out her keys from the pocket, twisting them in the lock. The door clicked. Both entered their grounds, closing the door behind them. Arriving by a trail made of stone slabs. The birch wooden door with a golden knob.
Upon entering their household. Toshinori immediately bolted from the living room, catching sight of his son and wife. Running up to them, he said. "Welcome back. How was the appointment?" Toshinori asked in utter ignorance of the previous events.
Toshinori's wife stiffened as Izuku flinched and went behind his mother's legs to cover himself.
"Izuku, can you go to your room? I and your dad have to talk. It won't be long, I promise." Izuku merely ran upstairs worrying the blond-haired mad over the boy's unusual behavior.
"What happened?." asked again Toshinori walking up to the living room taking a seat with Inko.
Both fixed each other as Inko's grip tightened on her couch "Izuku was diagnosed... Quirkless, he even has the second joint on the pinkie toe." Inko confessed. The revelation froze Toshinori.
"He is what?!" He muttered
"The doctor said that it was common for twin to have a quirkless in the two." Inko added." Toshi, we both know how much Izuku wants to be a hero. But now I'm lost, I don't know what to do."
Toshinori leaned forwards, placing his hands over Inko's left hand. "Honey, I don't know what to do either, but for now, we have to support him. Show him he isn't alone." Toshinori's eyes sported a tempered fire burning with passion. Inko, being partially reassured, was about to ask that they check upon him.
"Mom, daddy, why is Oni-chan crying? He refuses to tell me what's wrong." The voice of Izumi snapped them out of their Izumi was wearing a yellow all-might t-shirt with a thin blue stripe going from the collar to the sleeve, a pink pants.
Both of their expression changed from worried to distressed as they both bolted followed by Izumi upstairs in direction of Izuku's room. Reaching the brown door at the left end of the halls. They looked at the door, who sported a hanging All Might-themed wooden plate with the name *Izuku* in bold white letters.
Inko's hand hasted as she gripped the handle, twisting it and opening the door.
The room was in the dark except for the computer that was turned on playing the All Might's debuts. Next to it was seated on a black chair, a teary-eyed Izuku watching the video.
All eyes were locked on the same green-haired boy that snapped out of his trance as he noticed the opened door.
"M-mom-m D-dad" Izuku croaked as the tears swelled up, his eyes red from trailing down his face in front of his family.
He then pointed his finger towards the screen, shivering. "Can I become a smiling hero? Just like him"
Toshinori couldn't take it. He dove forwards, outstretching his arms out, wrapping them around his son. Inko got along with his action.
"I'm sorry Izuku, I'm so sorry" sobbed Toshinori, both adults crying in the hug.
The little boy didn't know that this moment was the first stone of his story. Inko pipped up "Izuku, let's go eat some Katsudon. You'll see it will make you feel better. Both adults removed themself from Izuku's form as Izumi ran up to Izuku holding his right hands.
Izumi looked at her brother as she beamed a smile. "Let's eat and then we'll play."
The Yagi family was sitting at the table. Izuku eyed Inko, who had his bowl in her hand. Use a spoon to press the rice down. Izuku had a droplet of drool trickling down the corner of the mouth. Inko then sliced in thin stripe the pork chop before placing them into the young boy's plate.
Handing over the plate over Izuku's direction, only to be replied by the slightly teary boy. Inko didn't hear thanks, knowing in what situation was Izuku she didn't press on that. Once everyone was served and began to eat.
The overall ambiance was tense. Toshinori looked at Izuku eating. For a brief second, His sight blurred, showing him a glimpse of a little boy with short blond slicked sidewards hair and cyan-colored-eye. Blinking, his sight showed him Izuku once more. Izuku was diagnosed quirkless. Nothing could say otherwise. A part of Toshinori's mind has wandered to his past self. Sure, Quirkless wasn't as rare as it was nowadays. Things were different.
Inko trying to ease the tension and, more importantly, take Izuku's mind off of the situation.
She held her hand out saying grabbing the remote pressing the red button to watch a cartoon that could cheer up Izuku.
"Let's watch a cartoon, it should do us some good." Inko muttered. the screen flashed bright showcasing a channel.
"Quirk is a blessing bestowed-" a man voiced came from the speaker. Inko, registering the words, immediately changed the channel looking at her son looking blankly at the screen. Shutting off momentarily, the screen came back to life once again.
The screen showed a view of a boxing ring with a bulky grey-haired man with wolf-like features with greying pointy ears., at the opposite cover stood a black-skinned man with blue hair with 8 arms.
"Today is an extremely important event because Today. We will witness the final kick-boxing match between the grand champion versus the challenger." another man declared with the camera switching view from the two brawlers.
Toshinori perked up at the match, staring up at the screen examining the two fighters. In his opinion, both of them didn't have overly large muscles, but he could attest that both of them would not joke in any fight.
Izuku and his sister leaned forward in direction of the television, curious of whatever was happening.
"Ah?! I've been told that for this match both of them will be allowed to use their quirk."
The screen turned black.
Inko was sweating. The awkwardness of the situation was felt by both adults
Toshinori's eyes went to Izuku, then Inko without stopping, his throat tightening. May God save them from this situation.
the little girl looked at their parents, then at Izuku.
Izuku looked at his mom.
"What the fuck, mom ?"
Izumi looked like she witness the birth of the devil.
Inko's eyes partially lost their colors.
Toshinori's neck turned too fast, producing a snapping sound at the neck location.
"I-Izuku, where did you learn this language?!" the green-haired woman turned to him screeching.
The young boy suddenly shrunk in his seat, lowering his head gazing at the dining table. "It's K-Kacchan. She taught me to say it when I was at school, she said that I should use this word when I wanted to ask a question" Izuku explained while Toshinori and Inko eyed the young boy.
"Izuku, it's a terrible word that you shouldn't use." Inko lectured as Izuku let out a small whine.
"Okay mom, I won't," Izuku responded, along with his words Izuku could have sworn his mother muttered something along the line as hitting puberty and teenager.
The small family resumed their meal peacefully, enjoying as much as they could. Once every plate was empty, the kids bolted to Izumi's room as both adults shot a knowing look at each other while retrieving the plate.
The door opened as both children bolted into the room. A Medium-sized room with a classical white pillow yellow blanked a greyish wardrobe with a round handle, a small desk with a pink school bag on it. The floor was covered by a layer of white birch wood.
Izuku's and his sister's eyes drifted off towards the corner of the room. A small chest was lying on the floor.
Izumi grabbed onto her brother's hand. Izuku already started running to pick up the toy they would play with but was stopped by his twin
.
"Oni-chan." Izumi started, releasing her hold off Izuku." Before we play, I wanted to ask. What happened?." The world seemed to have slowed down as Izuku looked at her.
"I won't have a Quirk," Izuku admitted. Izuku felt a weight on his shoulders become heavier, his breathing slowed. In his immense passion for quirks and heroism. He had hoped for his quirk to come, only to find out he would never have one. Almost everyone in his class manifested their quirks. The quirks he spent time and time to observe to learn and when his quirk would come to train it. But that day would never come.
He was quirkless.
Izumi registered his words, her face showing confusion. "W-what?" Izuku turned away from her." Doctor Tsubasa told me and mom that if someone has two joint in their pinkie toe... it means I'm quirkless, I won't ever develop a quirk." he blurted out, feeling a knot tying itself in his stomach. Izumi registered his words.
Izumi was born on the 16th of July, around 30 minutes after her brother, yet she was the first to manifest her quirk. She remembers that day perfectly. They were playing together in Izuku's room. Both were dressed as their favorite Heroes, Izuku wore an All Might costume with two strands of his messy hair slightly upwards mirroring his Idol's hair. Izumi had a green costume mirroring her idol Pulse. She was labeled the number 8 Hero. Her quirk gave her the ability to Pull and Repulse objects in every direction in a comfortably large radius.
Izuku was on his chair, his hand reaching up an All Might figurine in hand, trying to picture his Idol flying in the air. Izumi was trying to scold her older brother for standing on the chair in such a dangerous way.
Before his mind was registering her words, he tried to reposition his feet only to find that his foot wasn't supported on the wood surface but rather on the air; it cause his other feet to slip up and fall.
Panic took over her body as he swing her arm toward the falling boy. Izuku was about to brace for the impact, but it never came. He opened his eyes to see himself hovering above the ground with his limbs slightly glowing pink and cyan. He turned to see his sister, her arm forwards, who seemed to hold the same glow his limbs had.
Izuku was happy for his sister. He could already see himself manifest his quirk training with Izumi and their childhood friend. Attending their dream School, U. A Highschool the best Hero establishment in the country. Becoming a hero and saving people.
But now, Izuku didn't know what would happen next.
Izuku looked up, his face lit up with hope ' I'm sure Kacchan will help me. She always finds a solution.'
"It's okay Oni-chan, We can still be heroes together I promise!" Izumi hastily embraced from behind her brother in a comforting hug.
"Did you hear? Deku won't have a quirk!" a child whispered to another. Izuku was sitting with a tired look on his face, slightly dark circles around his eyes. His fist clenched the fabric of his blue shirt. He heard the whisper of his classmate's reaction to his current status.
Giggling gleefully, a young girl with brown hair tied into two pigtails "Yea Yea I remember, My dad told me it's called being quirkless. He also told me to ignore them, they might make our quirk disappear." She eyed Izuku.
Over time her words spread throughout the entire room as the gap between Izuku and Izumi, who stayed at her brother's side and the rest of the class, widened as if an invisible barrier split the class in two.
Katsumi looks around, her eyes wandering from the endless whisper of the class, switching between Izuku and the other ' Deku you're the least amazing', she thought to herself.
The teacher looked at the situation at hand. She saw Izuku's state. The signs were here: bloodshot eyes that showed that he cried the previous night, the appearance of dark circles, a lack of sleep. All of this is caused by being quirkless. She walked up to the young boy. Pulling Izuku out of his chair with her in direction of the larger group of kids. Izumi just walked with them not leaving her brother alone.
She crouched down, lowering herself to vaguely Izuku's height. "Play with the other." She went back to the side of the room.
The bell rang as all children took their see looking at open doors leading to the halls. A small boy with a similar height to Izuku, cinnamon-colored hair, and yellow eyes. He was wearing the same clothes as the children present that hid his scrawny body.
He entered the class while the teacher walked up to him. "Everyone, we will have a new student in our class. Introduce yourself !"
The unknown young boy's lips curved into a smile "Hi everyone, my name is Kawamoto Kichiro, nice to meet you. My quirk is Body Modify, I can change how my body looks to get stronger !" He beamed a strange black and grey substance spewed out from his skin, covering his arms. Once covered, his arms formerly ordinary changed into something similar to metal and alien-like arms.
Various reactions followed his introduction. Most of the class was amazed at his quirk. Izuku's eyes started to glow with hope, seeing his new classmate arrive and show his quirk to everyone. While his favorites were still Katsumi's and Izumi's, he couldn't help but admit that he fanboyed for all quirks that he could look at.
Over the class, Most of the children started a small conversation with Kichiro, Katsumi was smugly looking at the yellow-eyed boy her mind running on the thoughts of her quirk compared to his. Izumi barely interacted with him preferring to stay with her brother.
Izuku's expression slightly brightened up as he saw an opportunity to make a new friend. The bell rang telling everyone was allowed to play outside.
Kichiro was having fun with the class, a group of children came to him with a ball inviting him to play with them.
"H-hi" Kichiro weakly heard a voice from behind, he turned to a familiar green-haired child accompanied by his sister. His grin widened as he held his hand out for a handshake.
"Hey, what's your name? Mine Kichiro Kawamoto !" He introduced himself once again, Kichiro already introduced himself earlier in class but choose to do it again as his family name was hard to pronounce for young children out of his family.
"I'm Yagi Izuku nice to meet you " Izuku weakly told, before pointing a the blond and green-haired girl " And she is my sister Izumi."
Kichiro looked at Izumi questioningly he examined her features with attention, he found himself staring at the girl with red flushing his cheeks as his pupils dilated. "H-hey..." he stuttered as Izuku took notice of his reaction but did nothing probably because he doesn't know what his behavior meant.
"Hey Kichiro, can we play with you and the others ?" He asked while pointing to the group who started to split into teams before passing the small ball to each other.
"Sure" He spoke as he ran followed by Izuku and Izumi.
Once the children arrived, they came to see Bakugo juggling with a ball with impressive ease for a 4-year-old kid.
"Hey, Kacchan! We came to play with you and Kichiro" Izuku announced to the group earning a grin from his friend.
"Hey, new kid! Get yourself on my team. I want to see what you are made of" she declared when she turned her eyes to Kichiro after she turned back to the Yagi kids,=."Deku, Izumi get over here, Izuku don't make yourself look bad!"
"My name is Izuku not Deku Kacchan, it's mean!" he adorably pouted as comical steam came off his nose
"Alright guys, Let's play !"
For minutes that felt longer than hours, the kids ran and chased after the ball in an endless game of who will be able to keep the ball, Izuku, being the clumsy child he always has slipped, losing his balance and falling a few times while Katsumi has been dominating the whole match as she was always feinting her way with most of the kids never learning of what happened. Sweat glistened their body as their clothes were lightly drenched.
The final bell rang once again signaling every child present raced toward the exit.
A few minutes later, the group arrived at the portal where the parents would pick their kids up.
Izumi was walking with her brother as their gazes wandered across the crowd of adults standing over there.
"Izuku Izumi !" A woman beamed from Behind. The duo turned around to see an ash-blond-haired woman with ruby red eyes. She was wearing blue jeans with a nice pick jacket with a black shirt. Her name was Mitsuki Bakugo, the mother of Katsumi. The duo ran towards the blond woman as they wrapped their arms around her legs in a hug.
"Inko-chan and Toshinori had something coming up on their jobs, so they asked me to pick you up." She explained as she grabbed Izumi's hand.
"Katsumi won't mind if you stay for the night. Especially you Izuku" She cooed teasingly earning a glare from her daughter who had her face flushed red. "Stop that !" she scowled , Izuku cheeks had some tints of red over them while refused to look over anyone.
The orange sky was slowly getting darker as they departed from the school in direction of the Bakugo Household
Katsumi stood one foot on a rock as she wore a black shirt and red pants with orange shoes. With her stood Izuku, wearing a white shirt and a black shirt and red shoes. Along them stood Izumi, the blonde-haired girl who wore a similar outfit to Izuku. They were prepared to play but Izuku did not now that his life was about to be forever changed
