"Ok," a certain lavender-haired witch said to herself. "Before I do this I need to talk to her first" she continued to say to herself as she walked through the bright light.

It had been 4 years since Belos was defeated and an era of peace and harmony had come to the Boiling Isles. Amity has been working with her father at Blight Industries and things have been going great. Something important had been on the forefront of Amity's mind however, and it had been eating away at her and she had to talk to someone about it. Which was hard because everyone had other things going on. Willow had her flyer derby team, Hunter working on his palisman carving, and Eda and Gus both working at the University of Wild Magic where Eda was the headmaster. Amity however knew who she could go to no matter what.

When Amity arrived in the human world she walked a little bit until she arrived at the Noceda household. Amity went into her pocket and pulled out the key that Camila had given her. She slowly walked through the front door until her presence caught the eye of a certain shapeshifter

'Oh! Amity!" Amity turns her head and she is enveloped by a hug from Vee

"Hi Vee!" she replied and returned the hug

"I'm sorry but Luz isn't here" Vee informed her releasing the hug

"Oh good!" Amity replied to Vee confusing the shapeshifter. "I came to see Camila, I need to talk to her"

Vee looked at Amity in concern. "She's in the kitchen"

Amity thanked Vee and went on to the kitchen. She looked into the kitchen and saw Camila cleaning up, she took a deep breath and walked in

"uh, Camila?" Amity called out nervously

Camila turned around and formed a smile when she saw her. "Oh, Amity!"

She stopped what she was doing to give her daughter's girlfriend a hug and a light kiss on the top of her head just like she does for Luz and Vee. Amity returned the hug with a warm smile on her face.

"I'm sorry to bother you but I wanted to talk to you about something," Amity said apologetically

"Mija, you could never bother me! Sit down we can talk" Camila said as she and Amity both sat down

"How has been working at your family's company?" Camila asked trying to start a conversation

Amity was looking at her lap twirling her fingers. "huh? Oh! It's going well" Amity replied

Camila looked at Amity with concern, she could tell Amity was not herself. "You said you need to talk about something?"

Amity kept looking at her lap "Yeah, but it's kinda hard to say" she replied nervously

"Take your time Mija," Camila said trying to help Amity feel a bit more comfortable

Amity took a deep breath and began "Well I've been thinking, me and Luz have been together for a while we're both very happy with each other" She paused for a second "I know we're still young, only 18 but I wanna….." Amity paused mid-sentence

Camila looked at Amity wide-eyed, having an idea where she was going with this. "Amity are you saying?" Camila started to ask before she was interrupted

"I want to ask Luz to marry me!" Amity shouted with her face as red as a tomato

They were both silent for a moment taking in what Amity had just said until

"Amity! That's great!" Camila said tearfully before she got a bit more serious "But this is a big decision, I want you to be sure this is what you want to do"

Amity looked up at Camila for the first time since they sat down "I have, I can't picture my future without Luz. I love her more than anything"

Camila got up and walked to Amity and lifted her into a big hug "Mija I'm so proud of you!" she exclaimed.

That statement made Amity teary-eyed. Every time she talked to Camila Amity kept thinking that she was the mother she wish she had

Camila let go of Amity "Have you told anyone else?" she asked

"No" Amity Replied "I want it to be a surprise, I just wanted to tell you about it first because heard it was a human tradition to get the parent's approval first"

"Of course, you have my approval! Camila reassured her.

"Thank you, Camila," she said with tears in her eyes

Camila smiled at Amity "You don't I have to thank me you know I love you like you were my own. That's why it bothered me so much when you told me how your mother treated you"

Amity laughed "I remember when you met her, I have never seen a handprint that red on a person's face"

Camila normally didn't like to resort to violence but she would make an exception for anyone who hurt her kids. Just like with Jacob, she didn't regret smacking Odalia. The idea that Odalia treated a child as wonderful as Amity like that still ticked her off to this day

"When are you gonna ask Luz?" Camila asked trying to get back on topic

"Next week, after the Quinceañera" She answered "I want it to be the last gift she receives"

"That sounds lovely" Camila replies

"I just hope she says yes"

Camila giggled at Amity "I know she will!

After Amity and Camila talked more about what her proposal plan was, Amity made her way back to the portal. "Ok!" Amity said to herself "That's step one done, now step two"
