To escape our dying world, Humanity installed ourselves into a virtual reality... By removing our brains.

The brain was then placed in a jar, made out of a clear titanium, and filled with circuit boards. Wires, chips, and implants were used to connect to the Mother board, in the jar.

Next, the Jar was filled with a preservation gel, that continues to stimulate the brain. With a byproduct, of the electrical impulses, is the gel generates a tremendous amount of power. A Minimum output of 100,000 watts a day.

Finally, the jar is inserted into a Server Tower. With the Towers being the most advanced thing ever constructed by AIs. Capable of storing dozens of compact, super computers. Each similar in appearance to a 2000's model harddrive, no bigger, no smaller... but they are so much more.

Each "Drive" contains over a Yottabyte of RAM, a thousand Yottabytes of memory space, the most advanced graphics card ever imagined, and everything a computer could need to play games.

A few nights after installation.

POV:

- Player ID: ColtKit Productions #0042.

- Avatar Name: S'Mouth.

"A Clan Tower?" Typo blinked. Her green fins, on the yellow dragon, pinned in worry.

My clan was sitting around a camp fire, enjoying a nice rest, after a long weekend of adventuring. We were in "Equestria Online", which was based on the "Friendship is Optimal" fan fictions. This MMO was more about socializing, but it still had places to go adventuring.

S'Mouth, short for "Smart Mouth", eagerly nodded his pony head. He had a fluffy fox tail, and paws for front legs, with his back legs being hooved. His fur was colored like a red fox... though more orange then red. With blue trim, and blue mane. He had wings, with small blue feathers at the top, then longer white feathers, with black tips.

He was dressed in Hogwarts Hufflepuff robes, with the 4th Doctor's scarf, and big round glasses.

I might want to point out, that this odd fox pony... was me. "If I buy us one, we can fill it with joint MMOs we all share. We'll also have a private chat room, for our clan. And any Townsfolk, we get, can share the same shard. We can even get the Spike Optimizer as our Clan's Hub Computer. How cool would that be?

"The Server Tower even lets us be in two places at once! It's not anywhere near as good, at improving our multi-tasking skills, as a Programmer's Tower. But we'd still be able to play together, while doing our own things. That alone would make it worth it!!!

"We could always be together, while not neglecting our families or other friends. My hive has been complaining, I haven't been helping them build our Hub World."

"That's still asking a lot of you, S'Mouth." Rad tried. "Even if you want this... it'd feel like we're taking advantage of you."

"Radical Dishonesty" was a reformed changeling... wearing a little pinocchio straw hat, as well as the characters bowtie and white collar... and a little name tag sticker which read "Not a changeling". He was colored a variety of blues and greens, with beautiful sparkly transparent wings.

A shark man, named "Slash", snorted out, "When has THAT ever stopped S'Mouth?" He mostly looked human, but had a thicc blue shark tail... to the point his Avatar didn't have a butt. And sharp teeth, with a few other shark features.

I gave a playful huff. "I've asked for as much as I give. I'm as materialistic, as I am generous."

"Okay Rarity," Slash snickered.

Raider came to my defense. "S'mouth really is pretty generous... kinda too a detrimental degree." but turned traitor half way through.

Raider was a Kotomon. Wearing the typical clothes for his kind of Digimon: A Japanese fencing outfit, but his uniform was a mix of black and yelllow, with purple trim, and purple dots all over the attire.

His personal crest, which he often used as an Icon, was printed all over the outfit.

His face was hidden by the shadows of the fencing mask... but there was a pair of yellow glowing eyes. With his only skin exposed, being his reptilian tail, and clawed lizard feet.

The Digimon casually held his sword against his Shoulder... A keyblade version of the Master Sword... His inner gamer reflected through that mix of franchises.

He was only 2 feet, in height, with the Keyblade being as tall as himself.

"I'm a trust fund baby, there is nothing detrimental about it." I reminded. "What's the point, of being Filthy rich, if I can't share the wealth." I didn't really ask.

"I realize we don't all have your level of money S'Mouth." Stead patiently gave his own reminder. "But we can't just let you buy a million credit server."

He was a muscular Earth Pony, with green fur, and a brown mane/tail. They had scars and stubble on their muzzle, with three mask for his "cutie mark". Showing a range of emotions.

I pouted, "But it sounds sooooooooooo coooooool."

"I'd like to pitch in, to buy it," Tech offered. He was a grey Kobold, a 2 foot tall bipedal lizard. With blue highlights in his scales, and dressed in heavily enchanted, furred light armor.

"You guys need your coin," I insisted. "With the way the new coin count works, you know things are going to be more expensive. And since the Clan Tower, would be a real world hardware purchase, it be a permanent decrease to my coin count. Just let me do this for us, and you can make it up to me later."

Unfortunately... that didn't work, and each of the Clan put tens of thousands, towards the Clan Server. I still ended up paying the most, as a compromise, but they all wanted to contribute as well.

CODEX :

Coin Count .

Instead of a limited number of currency, players have a "Coin Count".

This enables them to buy anything, Without actually lowering their total currency. Coins only lower from death, theft, or real world purchases. Nothing bought, in-game, actually depletes the total number of coins in the player's account.

To prevent this from completely becoming pay to win, each item, as well as upgrade, has their own "Weekly Purchase Limit".

Example: Players can only buy 10 Health Potions, once a week, and are obligated to make that last you the whole week. Not including any additional Health Potions they find, craft, or are given as a reward from a quest.
