im sorry this update took so long i was on vacation and didnt have a computer ik this is kinda short but thats how the chapters are going to be so sorry
but i will stop rambling and allow you to read

''i'm blaine, what is your name?'' blaine asked her
chance looked over at clark as if asking if she could trust the man crouching infront of her.
clark nodded slightly.
''i'm chance.'' chance said still not quite sure about blaine.
"that is a very pretty name, how old are you?''blaine asked even tho he already knew the answer to his question.
"five" chance said while fidgiting with her hands.
blaine just watched her as she stared at the floor.
;;this poor girl she doesnt know what it feels like to be loved and cared for;;blaine thought
''chance." clark says looking at how uncomfortable chance looks.
"yes?'' she asks looking up at clark.
''blaine is here to take you to his house to live with him.. is that ok with you?'' clark asks not quite sure how she will react
chance looked up at clark with a little bit of fear in her eyes but she nodded indicating that she was ok with going home with blaine.
blaine looked at chance then clark
clark just nodded and said he would be right back.
blaine and chance sat in silence while clark went to get paper work to allow chance to go with blaine as a foster child until the adoption went through
blaine finally broke the silence ''i'm not going to hurt you.'' he said knowing thats why she was so quiet and scared
''ok.'' chance said not quite sure he was telling the truth
it went silent again until clark came back with the paper work that blaine had to sign once blaine was finished with the paper work clark took chance back to get her stuff once in the room chance told him how she really felt
''im scared clark''
'' i know you are sweety but i think this man will be good to you.''he answered
''you said that before and it wasnt true.'' chance said with a little bit of anger to her tone
clark kneeled down so he was eye to eye with her ''i know i have let you down a couple of times before but this time i think im right.'' clark said trying to convince her that she wont be hurt again ;;shes only five years old and she already can't trust people to love her;; he thought too himself after saying this too her
chance looked at him through the hair that fell into her face,''you promise he wont hurt me ?'' she asked on the verge of tears
''i cant promise that but i have a feeling that he is going to love you with all his heart and would never try to hurt you .'' he said trying to comfort her because he wasnt sure if blaine would hurt her in the long run or not even tho he seemed nice doesnt mean anything alot of people seem nice and then end up being assholes who only adopt the kids for the money and dont take care of them.
chance nodded and started packing her bag she was willing to give blaine a chance.
