Author Note: Ok, this fic is going to be a experiment for me. You see, me and a friend have been writing a fic of the same name for around 2 years. We are currently at chapter 52 out of god knows how much. I decided to give translating the first chapter a try and see how it's received. So, expect some random nonsense here and there (the original work is in spanish and this will be my first go at a translation). So, without further ado, I present to you: "Echúlame mi yugimazo!".

Btw, obviously we don't own "Yu-Gi-Oh!".

Night had already fallen on a simple dwelling in an unidentified place on planet earth. A young man was in front of his computer screen, looking for a way to pass his free time.

"Fanfics... no. Videos? Nah." he was thinking aloud as he passed the windows of his web browser, still without finding something that would catch his attention.

After his brief attempt at entertainment, the boy put all his weight against his seat and sighed. The night seemed like it was going to be boring like many of the previous ones.

Suddenly, he was brought back to reality by his phone's ringtone. After taking the device that was on the table next to him, he observed a name: Aaron.

They both talked for a while, commenting on how they were spending their vacations and other inconsequential things, like which was the best waifu of the Witchcrafter archetype.

"Hey, Chi, wanna watch how I thrash you at Yugi?" Offered the voice on the other side.

"As if! The only one getting destroyed is going to be you." He answered confidently to the challenge.

The call ended shortly after, both of them exchanging challenge lines and the like.

Taking a little time before creating his simulated deck, the young man looked around without getting up at a wooden piece of furniture that he had on the opposite side of his nightstand. Three transparent plastic containers were sitting on the aforementioned. In one of them, a deck that had as the first card an aquamarine tiger-like being, red eyes visible on its exposed belly. Next to him, another deck of cards that had a simple yellow card on the cover, with the image of a purple-haired girl holding a staff. Finally, the third container carried as its first card a metallic being with threads coming out of its back. They all meant something to the young man, but he couldn't decide which one to use.

People use their free time in various ways. Some feed their hobby, others take the opportunity to work overtime at their jobs; However, others simply waste it on things they consider entertaining, a clear example of the latter are the two protagonists of this peculiar story.

"Now I use Monster Reborn to revive your Amazoness Queen to my field. Without monsters left on your field, I will attack you with Frightfur Tiger and your Amazoness Queen to end the game. "A typical scene in the life of two young people. Both were in their rooms, sitting in front of their computer screens, playing a dueling simulator of the popular card game "Yu–Gi–Oh!".

Just at that moment, a strange voice began to call the two young men. The voice was strangely familiar and yet unknown to both. It was like a call from a friend you haven't seen in a long time.

"The last thing I saw after that was a strange light…" It's the last thing that went through the mind of one of them before his vision went black.

"Chi, Chi… CHI WAKE UP!"

A horrifying screech sound woke up the young man with disheveled black hair. As if it were any other morning, the victim instinctively hit what would be his alarm, however, what he found was not plastic, but the smooth face of his friend, Aaron.

Opening his eyes slowly, the young man questioned "Aaron? How did you get to my house?"

"Look around you, I don't have the slightest idea of where we are." Replied his friend, rubbing his pale square face. Like himself, Aaron was dressed in a simple shirt and blue jeans; the only difference was that he had a black one and Aaron had a white one.

Following what Aaron had said, the young man looked around, realizing that they were in an alley.

"What the hell Aaron, you kidnapped me!?" He yelled as he finished spinning his head to analyze his surroundings, ending with a surprised and betrayed expression.

"Believe me, if I could kidnap someone, it wouldn't be you." He answered before shrugging. "Anyway, did you also see some kind of white flash before waking up here?"

"Yes, how long was I asleep?" Jorge said as he got up and shook his clothes.

"I have no idea, I woke up about a minute ago and I tried to wake you up as soon as I saw you"

The friends began to see their surroundings in more detail and found two backpacks in very good condition sitting on the wall of the alley. Without wasting time, they took them and began to see their contents.

"Chi, look at this, in here there are some Yugioh cards and something like a very large cell phone." He mentioned while looking at a square device similar to a tablet.

"Wait… These are the decks we were playing with on the ygopro" He explained while reviewing the deck that was in a transparent box. They were exactly the same ones they used a few moments ago.

"It's true, but look at this: I just turned on this cell phone and it has a cross interface and it has my name." Aaron scratched the back of his neck thinking about what all this could mean.

"This one has mine and this symbol…" A D and an A…DA.

"Chi-chi-chi! The D-Pads are the things that were used in Yugioh Gx that functioned as cell phones, IDs, and had your dueling log or something." Aaron said in quick succession, almost spitting in his friend's face from the combined emotion and fright.

"Aaron, we are in big trouble. You know what all this means, right?"

"That we both had some kind of seizure and now we're having a coma-induced dream together?"

"That or we can go outside to check it out."

At that moment the D-Pad of both began to ring, there was a message on both of them that said: "The dueling academy entrance exam will end in an hour. Do you want to cancel your entry request?"

"Chi… Does this mean that we are somehow on the first chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh! Gx?"

"That's right, which means we have to…Run!"

The two began to run out of the alley. But, as soon as Aaron took a step, he crashed into something, or rather someone.

"Jaden!" They both exclaimed in surprise when they found the boy with hair similar to a Kuriboh.

"Oh, wow, I have to stop bumping into people if I want to make it to the exam…Wait, who are you? How do you know my name?"

At the last question both boys turned pale for a moment. If they wanted to cause as little damage to the timeline as possible, they probably needed to come up with an excuse quickly, which came in the form of Jaden's ID lying on the floor. Aaron approached him with the intention of returning it to the confused boy.

"We saw it on this ID. You can still get there if you run now." Aaron replied.

Jaden accepted the ID and with a quick bow said goodbye to both of them, running the longest possible way to get to the exam building.

"With that sense of direction it's incredible that he arrives there eventually." Jorge commented before they both continued running along the shortest path to the building.

The time difference was instantly noticeable, the friends arrived before Jaden.

"You know Chi, at first I was worried about not knowing how to get to this place… but when it's the size of a football stadium with DA written in giant letters, well it looked like the star of Bethlehem or something."

"Subtlety is not something that abounds around here, besides, did you see the signs that were all over the city pointing to this place? I don't understand how Jaden got lost on his way here"

After that little exchange they both headed to the reception desk where a woman in a suit was sitting filling out some lists.

"Good morning, we are applicants to enter the academy. " Jorge told the woman.

"Please hand over your D-Pad to verify your information."

Both followed the instructions. The receptionist took them and, with her own device, began to record the data of the friends. After a short span of nervous glances between the three of them, the woman returned their D-Pads while smiling.

"So… George Lionhearth and Aaron God, you arrived with 30 minutes to spare, prepare your decks and get in!"

"Why the hell does your name sound super cool when mine is exactly the same, but with a word in English? " Aaron complained, depressed, angry and resigned.

"I don't know, dude, apparently your parents didn't even love you when you were born." Jorge answered with a mocking smile as they entered the building.

"Ùnú" Somehow exclaimed Aaron after looking in his backpack for his dueling disk.

Upon entering, the boys opened their mouths like hungry seagulls upon seeing the amazing architecture of the dueling arena.

"You know, this looked less threatening in the anime." Jorge admitted nervously.

"Why do you say that, are you afraid, pussyboy?"

"Well, I really don't like having the stares of 100-something teenagers while I'm having a duel of a children's card game on which it depends if we continue existing comfortably in this dimension." He answered as he opened his arms in the form of a Y, showing the expectant audience to their duels to Aaron.

"Think of it as having a college entrance exam, only instead of filling in circles it's playing Yugioh as if you were a galactic military strategist king of the universe.

"Yes, you are right, I hope my Fluffal trolldeck doesn't decide to brick." Jorge complained as he began to breathe more slowly to calm down.

"I don't understand what you're complaining about, I have an Amazonessdeck whose only win condition is praying to draw one of my two Polymerizations to summon the fusions... which aren't even that broken compared to other monsters."

"Ok, ok, i'm calm now..."

"Chi, we still have 10 minutes before our duels. Do you think it's a good idea to go find the main characters already?"

Doubt made the young man look around the audience. The only thing he observed were the same 4 students repeated in the dozens as if they were clones. Thanks to the above, finding the main characters would be something that even a Bujin player could do with no problem.

"If I remember correctly, Alexis and Zane are at the top of the stands watching the duels as if they were Batman and Robin of Gx; Bastion and Syrus must be having their duels because Jaden meets them in the stands after they finish and Chazz is with his two boyfriends who are not relevant to the story." Aaron mentioned with a characteristic pensive look, God is as serious and sexy as a well-done Sasuke and not insufferable. (character description pending)

"Seems kind of stupid to me, ósea, what, do you want to go and socialize? You know we are two introverts with no social skills."

"Not so much, but after all, all events happen around them, it's better to start making us their friends, besides, in this place anything related to Yugioh is a topic of conversation."

With another deep breath, Jorge nodded.

"Okay, but any stupid thing you do can cost us dearly in the long run, remember that." He answered as he began to walk, followed by Aaron.

"I think it would be better to split up to meet them individually, so each one has a clean start in case the other messes it up." Aaron suggested.

"We'd better not get separated, Chazz isn't the friendliest right now so the only thing we could do is go with Alexis and Zane." Jorge commented, stopping for a moment.

"You're right Chi, luckily for you I'm the best with characters that don't develop properly in their stories." Aaron said confidently as a worm that thinks it's a butterfly… a manly one, of course.

"Sounds like a plan, I like the way you think, Aaron."

Without more to say as an excuse to avoid their embarrassment, they both went up the stairs, heading to the space where conveniently only the two blue obelisks were sitting.

"MY SWORD HAND TWitchES. " Aaron exclaimed when he arrived with Jorge. The former, seeing his friend's fuck up, quietly withdrew to a distance where he could not be associated with him.

Alexis and Zane turned with startled and confused faces to see what that strange scream had been.

"Chi, I already told you not to say those strange things to people..." Aaron stopped when he saw that his friend was no longer with him.

"Excuse me, but… you are?" Asked Alexis confused with her usual expressionless face. Zane composed his face and leered at Aaron before continuing to watch the current duels.

"Ahem… My name is Aaron Goooo… Aaron, I am an applicant to enter the academy."

Just then, Jorge walked with as much SWAG as possible next to Aaron (imagine the dance scene from Spiderman 3), causing both Aaron and Alexis to stare at him.

"Sorry for the inconvenience, this monstrosity you see next to me is my friend, Aaron. I've tried to control him, but he has an almost impossible to stop desire to talk to any attractive woman he sees. Ah, where are my manners? My name is Jorge, Jorge Lionhearth, it's a pleasure to meet... " Jorge finished, after introducing himself with an educated tone and high-class gestures, leaving an empty space for the two students to introduce themselves.

"Forgive my friend Chi, he has some problems, don't blame him for the conditions of his birth, judge him for the actions he achieved with that miracle of life, as Mewtwo said in the Pokémon movie."

At the end of the ridiculous exchange between the two friends, Alexis smiled as she held back a giggle, which threatened to become a cascade of laughter, while covering her mouth with one hand.

"But what a... interesting pair... my name is Alexis Rhodes and this grumpy guy here is-"

"Zane." The latter interrupted while he continued watching the duels, as if the presence of the pair mattered less to him than the waste of a camel.

"I guess you are new applicants to the academy, I wonder what kind of decks you'll use to face this challenge?" The girl asked with a neutral expression.

"Oh, an excellent question, you see I use an elegant and smooth strategy to defeat my opponents, the unequaled ones! Pelucheanimales! "Jorge exclaimed confidently as he raised his fist in the air, immediately regretting choosing the Spanish name of his main strategy.

Zane turned his gaze for a moment to observe Jorge's silly pose, responding with pure disdain in his voice. "That's the most ridiculous monster name I've ever heard. I hope their power is stronger than their name, otherwise I would like you to withdraw from the exam immediately, I won't let you tarnish the name of the academy."

At this response, Jorge lowered his raised fist while taking a step back. "Bueno, pero no te enojes… I'll show you what I can do!"

Zane nodded without changing his expression and moved his gaze back to the duels.

"Well said! We need more people with your attitude at the academy." Alexis told him while looking at Aaron. "And yours?"

"Well, I use a warrior deck with the ability to fill the field easily." Aaron mentioned with a confident smile, crossing his arms.

"He uses an Amazoness deck". Chi clarified.

Alexis nodded without adding more. Just then, the building's speakers came on giving a message: "George Lionhearth and Aaron God, George Lionhearth and Aaron God, proceed to the respective dueling arena for each."

"It seems that your time has come, good luck!"

"Thank you very much, it was a pleasure meeting you, we will see you again at the academy!" Jorge assured before the friends said goodbye and walked towards their destination.

Jorge had gone to the aforementioned arena, after entering the field, he observed the giant number four written on the center of it. In front of him, a figure was waiting for him.

"This is your first and last warning to go home without being humiliated." A man dressed in a purple uniform, sunglasses and a beard told him as he prepared his deck.

"A tempting offer but I'm afraid I'll have to say no." Jorge answered confidently.

"Well then… prepare your game."

"Duel!" They both yelled before their duel discs spreaded and they drew their starting cards, with Jorge trying to hide his excitement and giggling for finally doing these actions.

Jorge Lionheart vs Examiner

"Since you are the challenger I will start, I draw! I'll summon a monster in defense position face down in addition to placing two cards face down, with that I will end my turn." Exclaimed the examiner, followed by the appearance of the mentioned cards in the field.

The challenger wasted no time in proceeding, smiling with even more excitement. "My turn, draw, I will activate Pot of Greed. This allows me to draw two cards from the top of my deck." He exclaimed, holding back his laughter for obvious reasons. "Blessed forbidden cards," thought the young man.

"I activate my trap card Cyber Summon Blaster." Replied the examiner. A large metal cannon appeared from the examiner's side.

Meanwhile, the duel was being spectated by Alexis.

"Interesting, I don't see any of those Pelucheanimales, I wonder what his strategy will be..."

"He's probably just stalling for time." Zane replied while still watching another duel.

Jorge was preparing for his move. Although, it seemed that he was going to brick.

"Ok...I summon Beckoned by the World Chalice."

Right in the center of his field, a young dark-skinned spear user appeared. Beckoned by the World Chalice (1800/0)

"I'll place a card face down and use my monster to attack yours." Jorge ordered.

The brown-skinned warrior raised his spear before starting to sprint, intending to plunge his weapon into the face-down card.

"I activate my spell card Shrink, which halves your monster's attack points making it weaker than my Acrobat Monkey."

Beckoned by the World Chalice (900 ATK) }-{ Acrobat Monkey (1800 DEF)

Just then, the warrior shrank to half its size before attacking. The monkey responded by leaping nimbly over the small attacker before brushing it away with its tail, returning to Jorge's side.

Jorge (4000 - 3100)

"Who even uses that card? I'll finish my turn. Vas". He said complaining before finishing.

"My turn, I sacrifice my Acrobat Monkey to summon Machine King and attack your monster." The steel king appeared next to his owner before following the order. Machine King (2300/2000).

Machine King (2300 ATK) }-{ Beckoned by the World Chalice (1800 ATK)

The giant robotic monarch proceeded to prepare a punch to attack the warrior. The former tried to block his attack, but it wasn't strong enough and he ended up being crushed. Small fragments of the destroyed card traveled towards its owner, simulating damage.

Jorge (3100 - 2600)

"With this I end my turn."

"Voy." Jorge examined his hand. There were no possible plays at the moment. With a concerned expression, he proceeded. "I place a monster in Defense Position and end my turn."

The examiner wasted no time and drew his turn card, without even looking at it. "My turn, I place a monster in defense position and now, Machine King attacks will attack your monster, with that I end my turn."

The defending card could not withstand the attack either, being annihilated.

"Fair enough." While drawing, he found Polymerization, now he just needed one more monster to end the duel "I summon Fluffal Leo. " A small stuffed yellow lion made its presence on the field. Fluffal Leo (1600/1200). "I'll now attack your face-down monster, which will activate the effect of Fluffal leo. When this card attacks I can increase its attack power by 500 points." The little stuffed lion grew its fangs cartoonishly before running and crushing the face down card with them.

Alexis smiled at the play. "It seems that those cuddly toys are strong."

"The real threat hasn't been removed yet. It was a nice trick, but it's not enough." Zane clarified, now watching the duel.

Alexis changed her expression to a neutral one as she realized the obvious observation.

"That will end my turn." Jorge concluded, now with more confidence, arms folded.

"Well now I draw, I'll place a monster in defense position and my Machine King will attack your stuffed lion."

Machine King (2300 ATK) }-{ Fluffal Leo (1600 ATK)

The poor lion suffered the same fate as the Beckoned.

Jorge (2600 - 1900)

"That will be enough punishment for now." The examiner stopped, satisfied with his moves.

"It seems that Jorge is in trouble. Do you think he can win, Zane?" Asked the blonde from the stands, looking at the veteran duelist.

"From what I see, his cards are weak and they don't have consistency or synergy with each other… but I notice that he has confidence in his cards so I think he can still win." Zane answered, now slightly interested in the duel.

"My turn. Draw! I'm sorry, but the duel just ended. "Jorge assured, smiling when he saw that he stole a The Dark - Hex-Sealed Fusion. If he hadn't been distracted, he would have noticed a purplish glow coming off the drawn card.

"I see that fear has made you delirious." The examiner replied with a calm expression.

"You'll see, I'll active Polymerization to merge my Fluffal Owl with my The Dark - Hex-Sealed Fusion from my hand to summon Frightfur Tiger! Thanks to its effect, it gains 300 attack for each Frightfur or Fluffal card on my field and that's not all, when it is summoned, I can destroy a number of cards equal to the materials I used to summon it, so say goodbye to your Machine King and your face down card. – Frightfur Tiger (2200/1200). The frightening tiger proceeded to throw two scissors that were inside it towards the mentioned targets, slicing them.

"I'm not done yet! I active Frightfur Fusion, with this I can perform a fusion summon by banishing the materials from my graveyard. With this, I summon Frightfur Sheep, now the effect of my tiger will make them stronger. Finally, I'll summon Megalosmasher X. Frightfur Sheep (2600/2000).Frightfur Tiger (2500/1200). Megalosmasher X (2000/0). The mismatched trio of beings appeared side by side, a tiger, sheep, and aquatic dinosaur.

In the stands, the audience was going crazy, they couldn't believe what the fluffy guys were doing. Alexis and, strangely, Zane were surprised in the same way.

"That was an unexpected twist. The stuffed animals are sewn together with scissors to make a truly scary being."

Zane nodded upon hearing Alexis, changing his expression to hide his astonishment, slight as it had been. "I see that he will not be a total waste in the academy. Perfect. " He responded apathetically.

"Now, Frightfur Sheep will attack your face down monster, Frightfur tiger will follow up with a direct attack!" Both beings executed the orders, finishing off the monster and the sheep cutting the instructor. Sure, they were holograms, but their power was felt.

Examiner (4000 - 1500)

"Megalosmasher X finish this with a direct attack!" The dinosaur ended up jumping with its jaws open, swallowing the examiner in one bite. After this, the holograms disappeared, revealing the examiner sitting on the ground, defeated. The dueling disks closed.

Examiner (1500 - 0)

Winner: George Lionhearth.

Jorge, elated, jumped up before doing his best Jaden impression as he smiled and winked at the instructor.

"Good duel, but it seems that I should be the examiner" Jorge exclaimed, without a hint of modesty.

"Hey, cool down, kid. Learn to respect or you're out. " The examiner answered with annoyance as he stood up.

Jorge nodded with false modesty. "Yes, yes, sorry. Thank you for the opportunity."

Both duelists left the arena. Zane and Alexis looked at each other.

"Hmm, it seems that this 'Jorge' lacks a bit of modesty, I hope he has learned his lesson. If not, I think I'll give him a friendly lesson at the academy." Zane mentioned before starting to watch another duel. Alexis nodded, thinking something similar, then imitating the blue-haired man.

Aaron had easily found the arena to which he was called. It was almost impossible not to see the giant number 7 that decorated the wall. To his surprise, the examiner was not what he expected...

"So you will be my last opponent of the day, well it seems that you will be someone else who won't pass." Said a woman dressed in a purple uniform with sunglasses and long black hair.

"Chales! Not again..." Aaron exclaimed in a way that made it impossible to know if it was sarcasm or serious.

"Whatever, get ready."

"Duel!"

Aaron God vs Examiner

"I'll start by placing a monster in defense position and place three cards face down before I end my turn." The examiner finished, adjusting her glasses.

"My turn, draw! I active Pot of Greed to draw two cards from my deck, I now summon my Amazoness Fighter in attack position." A woman with wild clothing materialized on Aaron's field. Amazoness Fighter (1500/1300)

"Now my monster will attack your face-down monster."

The face down monster turned out to beThe Gross Ghost of Fled Dreams, a grotesque ghost.

Amazoness Fighter (1500 ATK) }-{ The Gross Ghost of Fled Dreams (1800 DEF)

"A pity, but thanks to the effect of my Amazoness Fighter I don't take damage from battles involving it, now I'll place a card face down and activate my spell card Amazoness Fighting Spirit." Aaron concluded.

"My turn, I will place a card face down and activate my trap Dust Tornado to destroy one of your Spell or Trap Cards, I finally place a monster in face-down Defense Position and end my turn."

"My turn, I'll summon my Amazoness Paladin." A girl with a robe and a sword appeared on the field. Amazoness Paladin. (1700/300)

"Now thanks to its effect its attack points increase by 100 for each Amazoness monster on my field." – Amazoness Paladin (1900/300).

"Not so fast, I activate my trap Spellbinding Circle. This card will prevent one of your monsters from attacking or being able to activate its effects and I select your Amazoness Paladin." A magic circle with ancient writings appeared around the warrior, preventing its movement.

"Battle, Amazoness Fighter will attack your face down monster." With an intimidating walk, the woman prepared to attack.

The face-down monster revealed itself to show a strange kind of worm with 1500 defense points, when the Fighter tried to hit it, it simply avoided the attack. In the stands, the blue obelisk pair watched the duel.

"It seems that both cannot damage the other." Alexis commented, a little bored by the events.

"No, both are making time to use their strategies. Aaron seems to have something up his sleeve. It's a matter of time." Zane concluded with his arms folded.

"With that I end my turn." Aaron finished.

"My turn, I summon Armored Lizard in attack position." A giant blue lizard appeared on the examiner's field. Armored Lizard (1500/1200)

"Is that your strategy, to stall and that's it?" Aaron asked.

"I see that someone did not read the rules, each applicant only has 8 minutes to finish their duels. If they don't, they will automatically lose." Replied the examiner, making a gesture imitating the hands of a clock.

"Then you won't even try to win, isn't that a little bit boring?" Aaron said complaining, now a little desperate.

"True duelists must be able to respond to all situations and from what I see you are not one of them." She was getting more and more bored.

"We'll see, my turn, I place a monster in defense position and end my turn."

"Even after all that, you'll play defensively? It doesn't matter, you only have 5 minutes left, draw! I'll just finish my turn, you don't deserve more." The woman mocked.

"My turn. I'll summon Amazoness Archer. Now I'll use my Archer to attack your Armored Lizard." The archer woman prepared to shoot her bow. Amazoness Archer (1400/1000)

"I see that you are not smart. My Armored Lizard has more attack points than your Archer."

"Are you completely sure? Because now the effect of Amazoness Fighting Spirit activates so my Archer gains 1000 attack points, destroying your Lizard."

Amazoness Archer (2400 ATK) }-{ Armored Lizard (1500 ATK)

The bow began to shine, filling itself with energy. After shooting, the arrow penetrated the Lizard, destroying it. The arrow did not stop and ended up hitting the woman.

Examiner (4000 - 3100)

"With this I will end my turn."

"That small amount of damage will not help you, I draw. I'll place a card face down and I will end my turn."

"Well, now I summon my Amazoness Swords Woman and use it to attack your Gross Ghost. – Amazoness Swords Woman (1500/1600).

Amazoness Swords Woman (1500 ATK) }-{ The Gross Ghost of Fled Dreams (1800)

The swordswoman attacked the ghost only to have her sword pass through it without any damage, but her timing led her directly to the examiner, dealing damage to her.

Examiner (3100 – 2800)

"Any damage that I would receive in battles that involve my swordswoman will be received by you instead of me, with that I end my turn."

"Hmph, nice trick, but you only have 2 minutes left, I'll summon a monster in defense position and I will end my turn."

"Well, this is over, I will activate the effect of my Amazoness Archer, I can sacrifice two monsters on my field to deal 1200 effect damage to you, I'll sacrifice my swordswoman and my defense positioned monster." Both sacrifices turned into luminous spheres, empowering the archer's arrow before it shot at the examiner.

Examiner (2800 - 1600)

"Now I summon my Amazoness Chain Master and sacrifice her along with my fighter to deal another 1200 damage."

Examiner (1600 - 400)

"Finally I'll sacrifice my Archer and my Paladin for the final arrow."

Examiner (400 - 0)

Winner: Aaron God

The spectators nodded, having learned another way to win duels without attacking. The instructor nodded as well before her dueling disk turned off.

"Congratulations, it's been a long time since an aspirant managed to penetrate my defenses. You deserve a place in the academy. " Congratulated the woman with a sincere smile.

"Ahm thanks, but… you should try to improve the way you say things." Aaron said somewhat nervously leaving the arena.

In the corridors of the stands, both friends met shortly after.

"Chi-chi-chi! Are you thinking the same as me?"

"Of course, my friend."

The two shook hands while smiling.

"Pot of Greed it's broken." They both exclaimed while laughing.

Just at that moment, the audio equipment of the venue sounded once more: "Could Mr. Jaden Yuki and Professor Crawler please present themselves to dueling arena 1?" The friends looked at each other for a moment before Jorge said the following:

"Que hueva, let's go."

And with that, they both left the building with renewed hope and expectation of their uncertain future. Both without realizing that certain spirits followed their step.
