Danny knew that he was adopted, even before his parents told him. he could tell in the way that the longer he looked at himself in the mirror, the more he realized that he doesn't look like either of the people that adopted him. It's like his features shifted whenever he looked to long. His eyes were more of a duller blue almost gray, and his hair while still mostly black had some spots of brown colouring.
He's not sure if he ever wants to meet his birth parents. They left him, either willingly or unwillingly and to his knowledge never looked for him, and they aren't apart of his life.
Besides, he's happy with the parents he has, even if they spend most of their time in their lab, out ghost hunting, or out at ghost conventions that apparently happen outside of Amity, than spending time with their children.
Speaking of ghost conventions, there just so happens to be one in London, a place that Danny has always wanted to visit, and FentonWorks was invited. Which is why Jazz and Danny Fenton were walking the streets of Down Town London while their parents set up their booth at the convention center that's connected to their hotel.
During their walk, Danny, for lack of better words, felt odd, especially when walking past some places. At first, he calked it up to feeling homesick. Until he felt the feeling more often the closer they got to the "center" of downtown and the Feeing turned into less of a mild stomach ache and into more of a "it feels like a bunch of ants crawling under my skin".
At that point, Jazz decided that it was best to abandon their walk and return to their hotel, in which they are staying for the next week.
That leads us to now. It's nearly midnight and his parents, who got back not long after they did, and his sister are peacefully asleep, while Danny lays there wide awake. He hasn't been able to get even a wink of sleep after their walk, the feeling under his skin never really went away and only dulled to more of the feeling you get after your foot or hand falls asleep, when they finally got back to their room.
After getting out of the bed that he and Jazz had made from the pull out couch, he changed into the clothes he was planning on wearing the next day. While they are comfortable, he didn't want to go out in his space pyjamas, his space hoodie looks much better.
He got dressed in the bathroom before shifting and flying through the ceiling, invisibly, and out into the night air.

Flying over London is a much different experience than flying over Amity. London, in some places, looks and feels grimy yet oddly comforting in a way that Amity Park hasn't felt like for the past year, almost as long as he's had his powers (and almost the same time as when his parents started hunting him and the other ghosts).
As he was flying over more buildings that look the same as the ones beside and across the street from them, he felt the feeling again, but this time it felt like it was in the center of his chest, pulling, almost like it was trying to lead him somewhere. Going against his instincts to fly away and never come back, he follows the feeling.
Flying for about five minutes led Danny to a street full of houses. Lowering to the empty street, his form started shifting. His otherworldly white hair was chased away by the black from his roots. His pure ectoplasmic green eyes faded to his natural grey-blue.
He turned in the direction the Feeling was telling him to, just behind him was a house. A house much like the other ones on the street but it was, old? dirty? Danny didn't know how to describe just how out of place this house was. It looked like it wasn't supposed to be there like he was not meant to see it.
He must have been standing there for a long time, studying the house and its feeling because he was shocked out of his state by a hand gripping his shoulder and a sneering voice made itself known just behind him.
"What do you think you're doing boy?"
