The next morning Blaine woke up and looked around the room At first he didn't know where he was then he remembered what happened last night he was still in chances room he never Left the night before afraid she might wake up and feel Abandoned. Blaine got up and walked downstairs he was on mission and he was worried. He grabbed his cell phone and Dialed the number that he been staring at for 10 minutes.
"Hello " came a voice from the other end of the phone
"Hey coop its blaine I know we haven't talked in a while but there's something to tell you"
"Hey baby Bro what's up"
"Before I tell you anything you have to promise you won't tell mom or dad and you won't freak out"
"Dude what's wrong?" Cooper asked sounding Worried by the way his brother was acting.
"Nothings wrong I just need you to promise me coop." blaine said trying to Get his brother to understand.
"Okay I promise now tell me what you need to tell me" cooper still sounded worried
" i uhh i uhh i uhh." blaine stammered over the phone.
"blaine spit it out" his Brother yelled from the other end of the telephone
"i adopted a kid" blaine told him
The other end of the line was silent cooper didn't know what to say
"Cooper please say something please" blaine was starting to panic he didn't know what his brother was thinking
"I don't know what to little bro are you sure you're up for this. It's a big responsibility and you're all alone it's not going to be easy."
" I know and I'm up for it Ive had her for about couple weeks now she's great. And I'm not alone"
"What do you mean you're not alone you're single" cooper Was confused his brother didn't tell him about a boyfriend or husband he had I mean he could be holding a lot of things back He didn't even tell him he adopted a kid.
"I talked to Kurt yesterday I told him how I felt he felt the same way he wants to help me he wants to be in this little girl's life were going to do this together together"
Silence on the other end of the line again he had no idea what to say putting a kid on Kurt when they just told each other how they felt this isn't going to end well and he knew it but he didn't know how to Tell his brother.
"Cooper You have to stop doing that you can't not talk I'm freaking out over here say something!" Blaine yelled through the receiver.
"This isn't a good idea blaine I hate to tell you this but you and Kurt just told each other you're feeling Putting a little kid in this isn't the right thing to do it's not going to end well one of you is going to get hurt and it's that little girl who knows what will happen." Cooper said regretting it as he said it but his brother need to know he needed to know what was ahead.
" It's not like that coop it's not going to end bad nothings going to happen" blaine said Trying to convince himself Just like he was trying to convince his brother.
" I hope so little bro I really do you deserve some happiness in your life." Cooper said sounding distant as he remembered the past.
"Cooper?" Blaine asked hesitantly
" Yeah Blaine?"
"You're not going to tell mom and dad are you?" blaine asked fearing the answer that was to come.
" Not if you don't want me to."Cooper said still unsure of how he felt about this whole situation
"Thanks man would you like to Meet her?" Blaine asked working on his relationship with his brother would be hard but he wanted his brother in hi life and in his daughters.
"Really?" Cooper asked sounding shocked
"Really" blaine said
"Sure when?"
" Three days this Saturday noon at my place"
" I'll be there."
"You said that before Cooper took a hope you mean it this time."
Blaine hung up the phone and set it on the table he stared at it for a while than he heard footsteps padding down the steps he turned around and saw chance walking downstairs. Stuffed monkey in hand.
" Hi sweetie want some breakfast." He asked smiling at her
Chance Nodded
Blaine made them breakfast and they spent the morning together.
