Hey there! For ages I've been writing Mass effect, and Mass effect related stuff... and I wanna try something else. If you know my work, you'll know that this will turn very smutty very soon ;-)
My intention is to keep the chapters short. I'm starting to dislike proofreading 3000plus, therefore my goal is to keep these around 1500/2000. Hopefully that will also increase the pace of posting. (Yeah right!)
This chapter has a few references to Green day, and one to Pearl Jam. Cookie when you name 'm all. Warning: some are quite silly.
Chapter 1, September
"Faster! C'mon faster!"
"But... she might..."
"She won't break! Hold her tightly. Hold her waist... yeah, just like that. Now speed up, c'mon faster!"
Jade smiled. Coach Mclaren was working the cheerleaders hard, as usual.
It was a beautiful afternoon on the football field. The crisp, fresh autumn air smelled terrific and a few leaves were lazily gliding to earth. The september sun was incredibly bright and she adjusted her sunglasses. Took of her sweater.
Nice day! Nice and hot.
She liked watching the cheerleaders practice. Her new boyfriend Travis was one of the few male cheerleaders. It was easy to find him since he was the tallest of the group. His strong, muscular shoulders were making the blue-and-white outfit stretch and she could always appreciate a good showing of muscles. His dirty-blonde short hair and strong facial features were giving him that 'northern european' look that she liked so much.
He usually paired up with Jeremy and today was no exception. Together they tossed and flipped the girls of the squad, easily lifting them as if they were feathers. She watched with eager eyes. From her position on the wooden bleachers she could see him from head to toe.
Fuck he's hot!
They'd only been together for a few days and she was hoping for a fun date tonight.
Friday night. What else you're gonna do on a friday night?
He winked at her and she waved enthusiastically. Travis was a steal, no doubt. Within the cheer team there seemed to be an 'air' of 'better than thou'. Not Travis. He was refreshingly kind and down-to-earth. Which was just one of the reasons she liked him.
September. Summer had come and passed... it had been a marvelous summer. She'd spend three weeks in Japan, her grandmother's country and absolutely loved it. With her birthday in August she'd turned 18 in Japan and had thoroughly enjoyed the japanese version of her birthday.
Coming back to Miami she only had a few more days before school started. Her life, and so many of her hobbies were linked to Pinecrest high that she just enjoyed coming here. She almost regretted the fact that it was her senior year.
She knew she was a bit of an enigma to most people - she never seemed to fit in one 'group'. Various things had her interest, so she pursued various things. Track and field. Music - for a few years now she'd been the singer/guitar player of the school band. A long time ago her father had taught her how to play chess and it had resonated within her. So she joined the chess club. And being in the chess club had gotten her hostile looks from the 'popular' crowd.
She didn't care at all. Living your life your way is the only way to go, right?
Honestly, Travis was not the only person she was watching. She hadn't told him but attending practice gave her an excellent chance to check out the girls. The blue-and-white tank tops and matching pleated short skirts were sexy as hell! Some of their suggestive dance moves could definitely be considered... provocative. Travis was her boyfriend but it doesn't hurt to look, right?
The boys were standing aside as the girls were practicing a slick, scintilating routine. Jade felt her mouth go dry as she intently watched the spectacular gyrating hips, the sensual, bare thighs.
Wow!
Loud, energetic electronic music was blasting over the squad. The dazzling short skirts were moving faster than the eye could follow. The girls dropped dangerously low only to rise like lightning and pose seductively, one hand in the air and one hand on their hip. A heartbeat later they were moving again.
Fuck!
With a wicked smile Jade stared at Vicky's exposed midriff, her bellybutton. Then she studied the girl's long, bare legs.
Nice...!
Slender yet muscular, her legs were the stuff dreams were made of. Incredibly smooth skin with a lovely tan. She licked her lips.
Too bad she's such a bitch.
Victoria Miller was the team's leader. Her classmate. And the school's 'queen'. Arrogant, smug, vain. And an absolute killer of a body. Gorgeous blonde hair in tight curls. Probably the best-looking girl in school and she knew it.
She was putting massive amouts of energy in her dance and that was something Jade could appreciate - putting your heart and soul in a performance. The girl was moving like liquid fire, a high powered show of her ability. It was obvious why she was the captain.
Wow!
Jade let her eyes wander to the other girls. Madison, with long brownish hair and Vicky's best friend. Triss, a cute redhead. Yennefer, black hair. Autumn, a pale girl with nearly white hair. Sofia and Manuela, two delightful latina girls who were extremely popular in school. There were more than twenty girls alltogether but she didn't know all their names.
Victoria raised an eyebrow as she noticed Jade in the stands. It was totally normal for her to be here, her boyfriend was a cheerleader after all. What annoyed her was that she couldn't understand Jade. The girl had never even tried out for the cheerleaders, even though she was athletic and pretty. Worse, she barely made an attempt to be liked by the popular crowd.
And that was something Vicky simply couldn't understand. Who doesn't want to hang with the cool kids? And then the chess club! Who does that? That means you're a qualified dork. But dorks are not supposed to be that good-looking.
Ten minutes later the practice was done. The music stopped and animated chatter erupted on the field. Still intrigued, Vicky wiped the sweat of her forehead and approached Jade. Figured she'd give her classmate a chance.
"You know Jade... you could try out for the cheerleading team."
"I'm sorry, I don't think so. I've got my hands full with my other hobbies. Thank you."
Vicky didn't take rejection very well. "You mean the chess club? That's for losers! Oh well, I guess you'll always be a dork." She finished her sentence with a smug smile.
Jade sighed. These were the kind of insults she expected from a 12 year old, not from someone her own age. Vicky might be the most popular girl in school but she was so immature!
"Listen Victoria, it's crystal clear we'll never be friends. But let's try to be civil to each other, okay?"
Vicky harrumphed loudly. She walked over to her friends, whispered something and they all looked at Jade while laughing out loud.
Jade rolled her eyes. Idiots!
Travis finally found her and greeted her with a hug and a kiss. "Hey babe! Good to see you! I was hoping we could do something fun tonight?"
"Absolutely. I was thinking the same thing!"
He was beaming. "Great! Pick you up at seven?"
"You got it. See you then." Once again she noticed his adorable, boyish smile, making him appear even younger than his eighteen years. Cute!
Travis ran into the boys locker and Jade cleared her mind. Date night... now that was something to look forward to!
