Archie looked at the letter that he just received from Gringotts. It had been a few hours since the death of his mother, and he had just become head of four Most Noble and Ancient Houses and one Ancient House

If it is convenient, I'd like to arrange a meeting to go over all of your inheritances, as you know, your mother, in addition to being the Head of the Ancient and Most Noble House of Black, was also, the Head of the Ancient House of Le Fey, and the Ancient and Most Noble Houses of Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.
Normally, your sister Bonnie would have inherited the Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Le Fey lines, since they are maternal lines, however, the Noble House Counsel, in 1773 passed a law saying that a male can inherit a normally maternal line if the head of the maternal house, puts in their will that her male child is to inherit the line or if the female child of the Head of House does not wish to inherit the line. Your mother put it in her will that she wants you to inherit the lines and when we contacted your sister, she insisted that you inherit the lines, since you are according to her, the only biological child of the late Lord and Lady Andrews. When we checked her birth certificate it said that her father is Lord Thomas Keller

"Tipsy!" Archie yelled. "Yes, Master Archie?" Tipsy, the Head Andrews Family House Elf asked. "Please go and tell Chief Ragnok that I will be able to attend a meeting with him at the bank. Ask him if now would be fine." Archie said. "Yes, master," Tipsy said and popped away. She returned two seconds later. "Chief Ragnok says that now is fine, Master Archie and he gives you permission to apparate into his outer office," Tipsy said. Archie nodded and got ready to head to the bank. He apparated to Ragnok's outer office and knocked on the door.
"Enter," Ragnok said. Archie walked in and bowed. "Chief Ragnok, thank you for agreeing to meet with me now, and I appreciate it." He said. "Of course, Lord Andrews, and please, if we're going to be working together, call me Ragnok," Ragnok said indicating for Archie to sit down.
When Archie sat down, he gave the goblin a smile that showed no teeth. "Then please, call me Archie. I'm still getting used to this lord business." He said. "Of course, Archie. Now, per your mother's will, you are to inherit the Le Fey, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Black Family fortunes, however, your father's will has revealed something interesting about the Andrews Family ancestors. No one knew that your father was the heir of Godric Gryffindor and Salazar Slytherin, however, it was well known that your father was the heir of Myrddin Ambrosius., Myrddin Emrys or as he is commonly known as Merlin. Allow me to give you the rundown of the Hufflepuff, Andrews, Le Fey, Black, and Ravenclaw accounts while we wait for the Emrys, Gryffindor, and Slytherin account managers to arrive.

All three vaults have been closed and contents have been moved to other vaults. Lord and Lady Andrews are deceased and the contents of their vaults have been moved to the main family vault, and Ms Andrews has since married her fiancé Heir Apparent Jason Millard Blossom of the Ancient and Most Noble House of Blossom, and has moved her funds to her own personal vault under her married name. Scrolls cannot be removed from the vault, but will show up in the family grimoire
Ragnok gave Archie a moment to look over the page in regards to the main family vault before looking at him to see if he had any questions. "Ragnok, this says that both my grandparents had portraits done, according to my dad, my grandfather never had one done, but my grandmother did." He said. "At the time, that was true, however, before your grandfather passed away, your grandmother convinced him to get a portrait done," Ragnok said.
Archie nodded and then brought up something that he remembered about the personal vaults of his family. "Ragnok, my mother said that the personal vaults funds were structured like this if I remember correctly there were one million galleons deposited in each vault by my father then a thousand sickles and knuts were also deposited for our personal use." He said.
Ragnok nodded. "That is correct, your sister has already moved her funds to her Blossom vault, since she has since married Jason Blossom, it is up to you to decide to keep your vault or, move the funds into the main family vault." He said. "You kept your expenses very low, when you used your vault so, your vault has nine hundred ninety-nine thousand galleons as well as the one thousand sickles and knuts that you have not spent," Ragnok said.
Archie nodded. "I will think about that, but it's looking like I may at least keep the galleons and sickles in the personal vault, but move the knuts into the main family vault to beef up those knuts, my father never liked the knuts going below five hundred, but he knew mom would always use them for potion ingredients. Especially since she brewed her health potions.
Ragnok nodded and turned to the page in the ledger marked Andrews Family Properties. "Now, the Andrews family owns a few properties, two in the UK, three in the USA, and one in Mainland Europe."

Archie nodded and looked at Ragnok. "I already know the exact location of The Willows, I've spent many of my summers there with my grandparents, but I will make sure to speak with Professor Dumbledore just to be sure we're on the same page." He said.
Ragnok nodded. "Then shall we go onto the Black, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw accounts?" He asked. "Just the properties of all three, Ragnok, my mother, before her passing gave me the rundown of the financial aspects of all three houses." He said.

Since the list of properties owned by the Hufflepuff, Le Fey, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Emrys, and Slytherin lines were long, Ragnok suggested that Archie take certified copies of the ledger pages home with him to review. "Now, with all of your account managers present, Lord Andrews-Black Le Fey- Gryffindor- Ravenclaw-Hufflepuff-Slytherin-Emrys what would you like us to do?" Ragnok asked.
Archie cleared his throat. "First, I'd like to take up the Head of House rings for the Andrews, Black, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, Gryffindor, and Emrys lines, I understand that the Morgana Le Fey symbol of Headship of her line was her staff am I correct?" He asked. Ragnok nodded "Yes. you're correct your grace." He said as he slid over seven ring boxes. "Those, are the Head of House rings for the Houses of Andrews, Black, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, Gryffindor, and Emrys, Your Grace," Ragnok said.
Archie removed the Heir Apparent ring of the Ancient and Most Noble House of Andrews from his ring finger and slid the Head of House ring on followed by the Black, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and Emrys Head of House rings.
Archie smiled as they all merged into one ring, with the Andrews family coat of arms showing as the first and most prominent house of note "Now, I'd like to find out just how many votes I have in the Wizengamot and if I have a title other than a title of a lord," Archie said.
Blockrig, the Gryffindor account manager stood and said speaking for the first time. "Well, my lord you are a Duke in the muggle world since you've now become the 46th Earl of Hogsmeade, In the muggle world and the magical world, you're the 56th Duke of Gryffinsmore , you're also the Earl of Perthshire, Count of Aberdeen, Count of Glenmore, Baron of Black Isle, and you're the Earl of Avalon. In all reality, your grace, you're King of British wizards because of your status as the Duke of Gryffinsmore, I will have to inform her majesty the queen about this fact, however, I don't think she'll have a problem due to the fact your father, was very well-liked by her and the rest of the Royal Family.
Blockrig, is there any way you can arrange for me to meet with her majesty? I'd like to make her aware of some things that bother me in regards to the Ministry of Magic, especially the way they handle meetings with the Prime Minister." Archie said. Blockrig nodded. "I've already written the letter on your behalf, Your Grace, I just need you to look it over before I send it." He said.
"Oh, there is one thing I must tell you, your grace, as the Duke of Gryffinsmore, you're automatically appointed as the Queen's Wizard," Blockrig added handing Archie the letter
Archie took the offered letter and it read:

I am writing this letter on behalf of the Duke of Gryffinsmore, Archibald Andrews, who has recently come into his inheritance after the passing of his mother. At your convenience, His Grace would like to meet with you to discuss matters regarding your magical subjects and to allow you to officially meet your new Queen's Wizard.

Archie nodded. "Well, according to mom we keep our magic at her Majesty's pleasure, and I am but her obedient servant. Now, be honest with me, Ragnok, how many wives do I need to keep the lines from dying out?" He asked. "Well, you need at least three to keep the maternal lines from dying out, and we have the matter of two marriage contracts that need to be addressed," Ragnok said
When Archie gave Ragnok a quizzical but confused look he continued "Your great grandfather, Viktor Andrews saved your friend Veronica's great grandfather, Diego Lodge, from a dementor that was under Grindelwald's control during the Grindelwald War, so to fulfill the life debt, your great grandfather offered the firstborn son of his grandson to the firstborn daughter of Diego's grandson in the form of the marriage contract. So, you're the firstborn son of Viktor's grandson, who was your father, and Veronica is the firstborn daughter of Diego's grandson who is Hiram Lodge." Ragnok said. "Lord Lodge, came to me this morning, in hopes of reminding you of the contract should you come into the bank today however, I told him that I would tell you of the contract if you came into the bank which I'm glad you did. He knows how much you care for Veronica, and he wants to discuss a betrothal contract with you should you not wish to rush into marriage yet." He said.
"And I believe the second one, is the one my mom arranged with Betty's mom?" Archie asked. Ragnok nodded. "Yes, this one is a standard betrothal/marriage contract between the Ancient House of Cooper and the Ancient and Most Noble House of Black, so you'll have a wife to carry on the Black name." He said.
"The issue, I see is with the houses of the Four Founders of Hogwarts, you have the money to support more than one wife, but there are no outstanding marriage or betrothal contracts between any of the known Most Noble and Ancient Houses and the houses of the Four Founders," Ragnok said.
"There is." A voice said from the doorway. It was Narcissa Malfoy, "Forgive me for interrupting, Chief Ragnok, Lord Black please allow me to offer my deepest condolences at the loss of your mother, she was my favorite cousin. There is a contract between the House of Malfoy and the House of Slytherin." Narcissa said handing the contract over to Ragnok. "It's a betrothal contract, done for Archie and my daughter Lucinda. Fred did it before he passed, he wanted to ensure that the Slytherin line continued." She said.
"Thank you for bringing this to my attention, Lady Malfoy I had honestly forgotten about this contract," Archie admitted. "Chief Ragnok, may I speak with Lord Black for a moment regarding House Black business?" Narcissa asked. Ragnok nodded and put up a goblin privacy shield so they could talk in private. "I want you to dissolve my marriage to Lucius I can't take it anymore, Archie, I know I never-" Narcissa started, but Archie held up a hand to stop her. "Is this what you want Narcissa? If I dissolve your marriage, I will have to put you, Lucinda, and Draco under the full protection of the House of Black, my question to you, is do you have an issue with me bringing your sister Andromeda back into the family and kicking your sister Bellatrix out? Archie asked. "Please, do. but before you do anything to Bella I need to tell you something about her that will disturb you. That contract was laced with compulsion charms, Bella was forced into it by our father, I have no problem with Andromeda's marriage and Ted is, a pureblood wizard with ties to the Hufflepuff line, he is a member of the House of Hufflepuff through his mother, so the Hufflepuff line isn't completely dead since my sister had a daughter who was a Hufflepuff." Narcissa said.
Archie nodded to Ragnok to take down the shield. "Ragnok, can we get Andromeda Tonks, her husband Lord Edward Tonks and their daughter Nymphadora Tonks here? I think I found out some information and I have to bless their marriage and bring Andi back into the family at Narcissa's request. Oh, and before I forget, Blockrig, I want you to go through the Gryffindor family tree and see if I have any female relatives that aren't closely related to me. I need to see if I can marry one of them to keep the line going unless I can use Veronica to fulfill the need to have a wife for both the Gryffindor and Andrews lines going. Also, send the letter to the queen " Ragnok nodded and went to the floo to make a call.
Blockrig looked at Archie and nodded. "Your grace your marriage to Ms. Lodge would fulfill the need for a wife for both the Gryffindor and Andrews lines, however, you do have a cousin who is not closely related to you by the name of Sydney Potter, she is one of the last remaining Gryffindors other than Harry Potter, who is also one of your cousins, and the last of the British Potter line and yourself, she is the last of the Australian branch of the Potter family. Then we better get Ms. Potter and Mr. Potter here for that matter I'd like to meet them seeing as they are my family." Archie said.
When the Tonks family arrived Archie pulled Ted to the side and showed him the Hufflepuff Head of House ring. "I'm glad to see the Hufflepuff line didn't end with my mother's passing, Ted and I'd like to ask a favor, regarding the future of the Hufflepuff line," Archie said. "What can I do to help, my lord? I'd like to set up a betrothal contract between House Hufflepuff and House Tonks, I assume my mother brought it up to you before her passing?" He asked. Ted nodded. "Yes, my lord she wanted to set up a betrothal contract between you and Nymphadora, but she passed before we could meet to discuss it." He said. Archie nodded. "Well, as Head of the House of Hufflepuff, I'd like to discuss the betrothal contract with you," Archie said.
"As you know, other than the Black family, where I have my Uncle Sirius and Uncle Regulus left of the immediate family, and of course Narcissa, Bellatrix and Andromeda as my cousins, the Andrews family where I have my older half-sister Bonnie, and a handful of cousins, the Hufflepuff line where I have a cousin in Ted, and the Gryffindor line where I have the last remaining members of the Potter family, as far as I know, and of course the account manager of each of my accounts will let me know if that changes I am the last of the lines of Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Emrys, and Le Fey, but I still need a wife for each line, my friend Veronica will be Lady Andrews per the marriage contract set up by my great grandfather Viktor to settle a life debt he owed to her great grandfather, my friend Betty, will be Lady Black as set up by the betrothal contract set up by my mom, hopefully, Ms. Tonks will consent to become Lady Hufflepuff, and Ms. Potter, will hopefully consent to become Lady Gryffindor, however, there's still the Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Emrys, and Le Fey lines to consider, however, before we get to that, I must right a great wrong done to a member of the House of Black, as I promised," Archie said
Archie placed his wand hand onto Andromeda's forehead and his other hand on Ted's forehead before stating in his official mode. "I, Archibald Emmanuel Andrews, as the Head of the Ancient and Most Noble House of Black, hereby reinstate Andromeda Cassiopeia Tonks into the Black Family, I bless and recognize her marriage to Edward Theodore Tonks and release the dowry the Black family owes for the union of this couple and wish them well." He said.
Removing his hand from Ted's forehead he gently placed it on Tonks' head and stated. "I, Archibald Emmanuel Andrews, as Head of the Ancient and Most Noble House of Black, recognize Nymphadora Lucinda Tonks as a daughter of the House of Black and welcome her into the Black Family with all of the protections, rights, and privileges afforded to a member of the House of Black."
"I have summoned Draco and Lucinda as you requested, my lord they are waiting outside for your summons," Narcissa said. "Bring them in, Cissy." Narcissa smiled at the nickname and brought in her son Draco and daughter Lucinda. Draco and Lucinda knowing the pureblood ways bowed and curtsied to Archie and said. "Lord Black." In a respectful manner. "Sit down next to your mother, Draco, Lucinda, and watch," Archie said before gently placing his hand on Narcissa's forehead. "I, Archibald Emmanuel Andrews as Head of the Ancient and Most Noble House of Black, hereby dissolve the marriage of Narcissa Estella Malfoy and Lucius Abraxas Malfoy and demand the dowry paid to the House of Malfoy by the House of Black be paid back with interest. Ragnok has Bellatrix been found?" Archie asked not looking away from Narcissa. "Yes, Lord Black she's being looked at by goblin healers, so we may have to dissolve her marriage from the Gringotts hospital wing," Ragnok said.
"Let me do one more thing then we will head to the hospital wing," Archie said gently placing his hands on Lucinda and Draco's foreheads. "I, Archibald Emmanuel Andrews, as Head of the Ancient and Most Noble House of Black, hereby place Draco Lucius Malfoy and his sister Lucinda Rose Malfoy under the protection of the House of Black, I furthermore, rename them Draco Lucius Black and Lucinda Rose Black, to protect them from their father Lucius Abraxas Malfoy until the Death Eater can be brought to justice." He said, giving the oath. "I make these oaths as is my right and duty to as Head of House Black so mote it be!" Archie shouted.
A strong pulse of magic swirled around Narcissa, Lucinda, Draco, Tonks, Ted, and Andromeda, as magic herself accepted Archie's words and sealed the oaths forever. "Now, let's go and deal with Bellatrix, shall we?" Archie asked standing up.
A goblin, Archie would come to know later as Griphook, took them to the hospital wing where Bellatrix was being cared for by goblin healers. "Hello, Cousin Bellatrix you're looking better already, I can tell just being away from Rudolphus is doing you a world of good," Archie said.
Bellatrix bowed her head in respect to her new Head of House. "Thank you, my lord. Have you come to dissolve my marriage then kick me out of the family?" She asked looking down in shame. "Yes and no. Yes, to dissolving your marriage, no to kicking you out of the family. Your sister brought it to my attention that your marriage contract was laced with compulsion charms. Well, you were not in the right mindset, when you accepted the Dark Mark, nor were you in the right mindset to decline the contract. And I am going to fix that if your healers will allow me to touch your forehead." Archie said.
The goblin and wizard healer nodded, and Archie moved closer and gently placed his hand on Bella's forehead and said the oath. "I, Archibald Emmanuel Andrews as Head of the Ancient and Most Noble House of Black hereby dissolve the marriage of Bellatrix Lyra Lestrange and Rudolphus Ernie Lestrange and demand that the dowry paid to the House of Lestrange by the House of Black be paid back with interest. So, say I, so mote it be." Archie said. Another swirl of the strong magical pulse engulfed Bellatrix as the oath was sealed forever officially breaking all compulsion and loyalty charms that were placed upon her.
When they all returned to Ragnok's office Archie stood and spoke. "Once those I have summoned are here, I would like to speak with the ladies, especially Lucinda and Dora, there are important matters I must discuss, however, I would like to discuss it when all of my possible wives are present," Archie said.
It was then that eight ladies, two of which Archie knew to be his future Lady Andrews and Lady Black walked into the office. "Welcome ladies, please sit or at least try to. Ragnok, won't this be better dealt with in a conference room?" Archie asked. Ragnok nodded and showed them to a conference room, reserved for the Earl of Avalon.
"Well, ladies, thank you for coming I know this is a bit of a shocker to some of you, but I am in a bit of a dilemma, I need eight wives to continue my eight lines, the Andrews, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, Black, and Gryffindor lines are taken care of in terms of wives, but I still need wives for the Le Fey, Emrys, and Ravenclaw lines, I would not ask this of you unless I was sure it wasn't going to put you in a tough spot but, I need this so, each of my account managers is going to discuss with you and your guardian even though you are of age, the bride price and dowry I set up. If you agree once you've looked over the betrothal contract, you just need to sign it with a blood quill and don't forget you can counteroffer the bride price and the dowery so if you think you have something better, don't hesitate to offer it, so, the only ones I'd like to personally take care of, are the contracts for the Andrews, Black, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and Gryffindor houses with my account managers for each account being represented present as well as the parents of my future wives. Oi, eight sets of in-laws. If I wasn't scared of the lines dying out, I never would have agreed to take on eight wives." Archie mumbled.
"Now, Ms. Potter, I know you're in a tougher situation since you are an orphan, and I couldn't get in contact with the matron of the orphanage-" Archie started. "Lord Gryffindor I am her adoptive mother Katherine Jones this is my husband Steve, we run the magical orphanage where Sydney was placed when she was born, we adopted her right after she was left there, and Sydney accepts the contract, and my husband agrees with the dowry and bride price." The tall black woman said.
"Very well, I just need- I'm sorry do you have any peerages I should know about?" Archie asked. "I have a Wizengamot seat, but I moved out of Europe after Voldemort's first downfall," Steve said. "Very well Lord Jones please sign on the line reserved for the parent or guardian, and Ms. Potter, you sign your name where it says bride to be with the blood quill," Blockrig said. Steve signed then Sydney did, and the contract magically disappeared and was filed with Gringotts, and a certified copy was magically filed with the Ministry of Magic's Department of Records
"Now, Lord Lodge with Veronica it's different since we have the marriage contract to consider, however, I know you agreed to a betrothal contract since Veronica and I do not want to just rush into marriage, I'd like to court her first. So, I've structured the contract so there's no way out due to the marriage contract that we already have in place. Veronica and I talked about it via the floo earlier and she agreed it was for the best. All I need from you is an acceptance or counteroffer to the bride price and dowry then a signature from both you and Veronica." Archie said.
"Both are acceptable to me as long as it's okay with Ronnie, and Lord Andrews, please let me assure you, that my grandfather didn't tell me about what happened between him and Viktor until he was sick, then he didn't tell me about the marriage contract until he was basically on his bloody death bed," Hiram added.
"I understand, according to my father, his grandfather didn't tell him about the contract until he mentioned it in his will," Archie said as he watched Hiram and Veronica sign the contract with the blood quill. "But I am glad we're finally settling that life debt, even if it isn't right away with marriage." He told Hiaram . "And I hope the alliance will continue even after the life debt is settled," Archie added. "Of course, Lord Andrews. I'll be in touch with you once everything is settled, if there is another dark lord, I'll be reactivating the Lodge Alliance and I'll be sure to save you a seat at the end of the table." Hiram said.
"And I will do the same for you when I reactivate the Andrews Alliance," Archie said before turning to Salvador Cooper. "Well, Lord Cooper all I need from you in terms of my betrothal contract with Betty, is either an acceptance or counteroffer to the bride price and dowry then just a quick signature from Lady Cooper since she's the one who made the contract with my mom. "I swear if I didn't know any better, I'd think you were at least part goblin you've given me a bride price and dowry I can't counteroffer, so I accept what is being offered." Salvador said.
"Archie was about to speak with Ted about the Hufflepuff contract but saw that it was already approved and signed. "Well, Ted, it seems you like the bride price and dowry offer then?" He asked. Ted nodded. "Very well, then Narcissa, what do you think of the bride price and dowry for Lucinda?" Archie asked. "We've already signed my lord, we just await your comments," Narcissa said.
With the completion of the signing of the Andrews, Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Black marriage/betrothal contracts Archie now had only to wait for the Le Fey, Emrys and Ravenclaw contracts to be signed then, he could start courting the eight ladies that were to become his wives.
