Hello~ sooo I re read my story Corruption and I was so upset at myself for HOW I left it hanging! So please enjoy this rewritten story of it!

It was quiet and peaceful, the night cool and refreshing as the male members of team seven gathered around their fire.

Kakashi and Yamato sat next to each other talking quietly while Naruto and Sai sat across the fire looking at a map discussing possible routes and ideas to take. Glancing up Naruo looked around for the tenth time while Kakashi sighed waiting for the inevitable.
"Shes been gone for 43 minutes now! We need to find her!" Naruto shouted while staring at the map frustrated not knowing where to look or what he was looking at as Sai pointed towards something. Sakura had left them long ago saying she wanted to bathe before getting to their destination promising to take twenty minutes tops unless she came across a hotsprings. With a smile she had left them but after some time the male members, mainly Naruto, grew restless when she didn't return.
"If ugly did go to the river she should be in this area Dickless." He said a smile on his face.
"Sakura has probably been gone longer than that. We left her here an hour ago while we checked the permitter and took our own river wash in the opposite direction of where she said she was going, that itself is a 5-8 minute walk unless she ran." Yamato replied, thinking of worse case scenario.
"Sakura can take care of herself. If she's not back in the next three minutes we will spread out and look for her." Kakashi replied as he worriedly look towards the direction he hoped she would come from.
They heard a rustling each one tense as Sakura emerged screaming and grabbing her head as tears fell down her face.

Run Sakura, faster! We have to beat them to the camp site.

Sakura pushed herself further, they were about two days from Suna. Their mission was simple, go to Suna track down some terrorist go home. In reality Gaara would've been able to handle it but decided that with Suna's new treaty with the leaf that would be good to have them there. Show face make friends show his community that despite everything in the past the treaty would be good for both villages and their villagers.
Sakura focus. We go towards Ame, once we pass the borders they cant cross. You know this breath forget numb yourself.

Sakura inhaled deeply before exhaling shakily and shook her head trying to clear it. Slowly the memories flashed, red eyes, a pale hand, a creepy smile. Sakura stumbled forward screaming grabbing her head till she heard the soft whisper.
"Sakura-chan…?" Naruto said slowly, Kakashi stood slowly Yamato following his movements, Sai sat next to Naruto slowly crouched.
"Sakura…breath…" Kakashi said as he noticed her hyperventilating looking crazily between the four males. They each crouched low to the ground moving slowly towards her as she continued to shake not breathing correctly her hands now clutching onto her shredded clothing.
they each advance a few meters from her now before Naruto stepped on a branch.
Sakura move your ass! At the sound of her inners voice and Naruto's mistake her head darted up before she applied chakra to her feet flinging herself forward slipping past Kakashi who had attempted to grab her. She bolted towards her side of their camping grabbing her Storage scroll and luckily her extra pouch. Her main one had been left behind where she was attacked.
She applied more chakra to her feet as she pushed herself forward inches away from Narutos extended hand gravel and dirt kicking up behind her.

It was raining heavily now, Sakura had been running for what felt like years in reality it was only hours. Her emotions were haywire, slowly so slowly the fear, anxiety, shock, shame left. In its place was the anger, the frustration, the disgust. Her vision cleared, she knew inner was taking the blunt of her emotions the ones that will do more harm than good.
Almost there. She thought to herself only twenty minutes from Ame and low on chakra but she manage to put a good amount of distance between her and her boys. No they're not my boys anymore theyre-

"Sakura-chan! Please!" She heard Naruto shout she faltered sightly slowing down.

Maybe it was a mistake…maybe it wasn't them?

Wasn't them?! You know it was their chakra signatures they were the same as they always have been! Only Naruto can have eyes like that and only Kakashi has the sharingan! Now move your ass! Youre low on chakra and that little slip of yours caused them to get closer.

Sakura closed her eyes for a second before inhaling kicking off the tree with extra chakra causing the big branch to break. She continued her fast pace every other branch breaking forcing the men behind her to slow down.

Naruto looked down for a second tears coming to his eyes. They saw her slow down at the sound of Narutos voice only to speed back up the little hope that was there was quickly smashed. He wasn't stupid, no, he may act like a goof to try to get his friends to smile or bring up the mood. But he was not stupid.
"Kakashi-sensei…Sakura had bruises on her…around her neck…h-her c-clothes…they were torn…Kakashi…please tell me…not her...not Sakura-chan…" Naruto said quietly at Kakashi, Sai and Yamato looked back Yamato's mouth turned grim before speeding up slightly. No Naruto wasn't stupid.

How can I want to become Hokage but I cant protect her…she was hurt in the worse way possible…and I cant even do anything to fix it! Naruto shouted to himself his hand clenching.
"I-" Kakashi said but stopped clearing his throat before breathing in. "I'm sorry Naruto…I can't lie to you this time…not about this…not about this." Kakashi replied.

"Sai, cant you draw something to stop her or Kakashi have your dogs run ahead and I don't know talk to her or stop her?!" Naruto shouted. Theres no way im letting her get away not like this. Not at a time like this! She needs me and I cant let her go… he sadly thought to himself his hands unclenching as he grabbed his chest. The pain, the ache present as he thought about Sakura abandoning him especially in her time of need.
"I am unprepared. We were suppose to be in Suna not near Ame. My ink will wash away immediately with the rain." Sai said no smiled plastered on his face. He couldn't understand the hag. He read about things like this in preparation for a female teammate, a normal female teammate. Not a ROOT one and he couldn't understand how she had left, it said in times like this it was best to give distance but be close by to listen or "lend a shoulder". But with her running away what is he suppose to do.
"Even if I did summon them, they would no have no way to stop her they don't have hands Naruto. They have teeth she doesn't need to get bitten to be stopped and I doubt that she would want to talk to them. Or anyone." Kakashi replied.
"Branch." Yamato said quietly as they each maneuvered differently to get over the branch. This was the first of many, Yamato shook his head knowing this would cause them to fall further back or use what little chakra they had left to completely jump over it.

Sakura began to slowly make her way to the ground, she can feel the emotions returning not all at once, but she knew with her low supply of chakra that inner wouldn't be able to hand it all. She reached the ground as the memories flashed once again before her eyes, golden blonde hair, a fake smile, emotionless eyes as wood sprouted around her and a mask.
She sobbed out as the fear and anxiety crashed into her chest, once again grabbing her clothes. Pulling them closer to hide what little modesty she had left. She looked back running normal as she entered a clearing. The rain felt different here but it was still harsh and cold. She turned back to look ahead as she slammed into a body falling back her hands not bracing her for the fall as they continued to clutch her clothing. She looked up slowly. Red clouds filled her vision as her eyes met two sharingans staring back at her.
"Akatsuki…" whispered fearfully her body shivering.

Kakuzu hummed happily to himself counting the money in his hands, Itachi strolled in front of him leading them to Ame. I'll take Uchiha over that loud mouth Jashin loving bastard any day. We go in and out, the body isn't horribly disfigured, still easily identifiable meaning no hassle at bounty collectors shop. Kakuzu thought almost happily as he finished counting putting the money in his pouch definitely thinking about requesting the Uchiha over the priest any day.
We will do our report and ill request him again then ill- Kakuzu stopped waking as he noticed the Uchiha stopped in front of him looking towards the trees. He walked past him looking in the same direction feeling the faint terrified chakra. It was so small almost nonexistent. Suddenly a woman appeared looking back behind as she ran what Kakuzu thought was pretty pathetic.
He immediately noticed the pink hair and green eyes but most importantly a diamond on her forehead as she slammed into Itachi. He had stepped in front of her to block her path when he had noticed the torn clothing the bruising. His sharingan capturing every detail.

He watched as she fell after running into him still clutching onto her clothing. Their eyes met and she whispered that one word that would always pierce his heart. Akatsuki. She began to shiver he didn't know if it was from the cold or the terror she felt. He watched as she went into a fetal position hugging her knees and began to rock back and forth sobbing.
Kakuzu nodded to the side motioning Itachi to step away from her. As they moved he whisphered softly. "Mission or something else?" Kakuzu wondered out loud looking at none other Sakura Haruno. Itachi glanced over at him tearing his eyes off the girl.
One thing he can appreciate about one of "zombie" duos at least was Kakuzu was raised somewhat similar to him despite the age difference. He can remember his mothers voice lecturing him about how to treat a woman in Sakura's state. Especially when he started working with other woman and was explained the risk of their missions how it was higher than men sometimes. It made him respect them a lot more. "I am not sure." Itachi replied as he looked back at her as she muttered to herself quietly.
"Where is her stupid team?" Kakuzu asked as he crossed his arms mad at the state the woman was in despite their differences. Even though he was much older than anyone he has met he was still a gentleman unless it was on the battle field.

"Prehaps we should stay close by incase something else were to happen or until someone from the leaf finds her?" Itachi asked Kakuzu knowing this was his mission therefore his decision. Kakuzu surpised at more than four words coming from the Uchiha nodded in agreement.
they slowly approached her as four males emerged from the trees into the clearing. Her team Kakuzu and Itachi thought as they stood closer to her.

If you don't move your ass I will take over and were both on the brink of chakra exhaustion! Inner yelled at Sakura who immediately went into a fetal position rock back and forth.
"Im exhausted I cant..i cant go further than this." She whispered back. Stop talking out loud Uchiha is looking over here…Sakura-chan..please you need to get up. Her inner pleaded the exhaustion setting in on her as well but her inner knew they couldn't stay not with two Akatuski members and their former team not far behind. Were almost at the border we're right there. Inner pleaded one more time as their former team appeared, Sakura stilled frozen with fear.
"Get away from her you bastards!" Shouted an enraged Naruto. Sakura grabbed her shoulder as she took a sharp inhale. All the males turned and looked at her, two in realizations while four in confusion as she focused on Naruto's red eyes and sharp teeth that he got from his fox. She scooted back as Naruto crouched down.
"Sakura-chan…please…talk to me." He pleaded quietly his eyes turning back to the bright ocean blue that she had love. She shook her head no and scooted back further. Her back hitting what she thought was a tree until it moved. She looked up slowly her eyes meet green ones the shade of money. Kakuzu frowned at her before angrily looking up at her team.
"It seems she does not wish to speak to you." He spat out crossing his arms. Naruto growled in anger before standing up.
"Shut up! You don't know her or what she just went through!" He responded back as he took a step forward his eyes once again red. Sakura silently cried more trying to move further back but once again stopped by Kakuzu's leg. Who moved and stood in front of her with Itachi.
"Please refrain from shouting." Itachi said his body relaxed as the rain came down heavier than before.
"We are aware of what has happened. It doesn't take a fucking genius to figure it out. But tell me. Do you know who has done it? We have just figured it out." Kakuzu said as he crossed his arms his threads leaking slowly out showing his anger and frustration.
Yamato looked at him relaxing his stance. "Please, if you have any information tell us. We just want help." He pleaded to them.
"Fucking idiots." Kakuzu said, the Jashin loving priest rubbing off on him more than he would like to admit.
"It was you four." Itachi said evenly. His eyes a darker red color. Annoyed they were trying to lie to him in the first place mad at the situation.
"How dare you say something like that!" Yamato yelled back, insulted and hurt to be accused of such a thing.
"We would never do such a thing! Give us back Sakura-chan!" Naruto yelled, Kakashi stood frozen at the accusation, thinking how her attitude and reaction would make sense if they had done it.

"How dare you…" Sakura said quietly, everyone looking towards her as she stood slowly letting her clothes go as they exposed more of her skin and wounds. Her body soaked her hair sticking to her face.
"HOW DARE YOU!" She shouted angrily, "After all those awful missions those sleezy men who tried those who tried to woo me! I kept it! It was safe with me and you-you bastards! You took it! YOU FUCKING TOOK IT!" She screamed in pain as she slammed her heel into the ground causing it to crack. She took a step forward before crumbling down Kakuzu quick to catch her with his threads as he looked back at the time.
"I believe it is time you take your leave." Itachi said as he looked everyone in his eyes, fools he thought as he began to layer a genjustu on them
"We will be taking her with us." Itachi said as he turned to leave. The Konoha shinobi frozen in their places as Itachi and Kakuzu began walking away. Kakuzu threads bring Sakura towards him as he carried her bridal style.
Itachi looked over at the shivering female in Kakuzu arms before stopping and taking his cloak off. Placing it on the pink haired woman attempting to keep her warm despite the rain.
"Getting soft Uchiha?" Kakuzu asked as he adjusted her more comfortably in her arms tucking the cloak in here and there to secure it better than her as her head laid on shoulder.
"Hn. Look who's talking." Itachi said watching Kakuzu as he finished adjusting her before walking towards Ame. The leaf shinobi successfully in genjutsu that would keep them busy thinking they were wining a battle that never happen taking the woman with them to the leaf.
The questioned remained.
Why did her own team rape her?

Well as you can see my first attempt to rewriting is complete! I tried to keep the same story line as my original but worded much better and I plan to see this one soon!
