The story follows the journey of the Grandson of the Magic King and Mad Sword King named Everett. His parents are the rulers of the biggest kingdom named Asura. Of course though, that all depends on how Everett will balance out his duty as the heir to the throne or as a Magic-Swordsman.

This story runs parallel to the familiar events of Rudeus, but changes many significant events from volumes nine through 21, and takes a behind-the-scenes look at the Asura kingdom and its scheming citizens, share slices of life, tells tales from adventures to wars and how to accidentally third-party Gods in a battle of wits.
