Sorry it's been taking me so long to upload this chapter! I got a virus on my computer that kept me from going on the internet more than once. It was so slow! Grr! I'm going to do this chapter in narrator's POV. Tell me if you like it better than character's POV! Sorry if I've confused you by calling all the female ponies fillies. XD Just so you know, when I say filly, I mean female pony because I don't know what else to call them. Also, just so you aren't confused, I'm going to say that the princess' castle isn't just mounted on the side of the cliff. Instead, I'm going to say it has a big area in front with a lot of open space. Enjoy the show!

Book 2: Ponies and Futures

Chapter 5: Realization

"Let the Alicorn, red Unicorn and pink Pegasus go," Someone barked from the rafters. The green shields suspending the three on the ceiling vanished and they gently floated down. Future Vlad descended from the rafters leading older Carly and the three other unconscious ponies outside.

By then Danny and Twilight Sparkle were awake and future Carly came back into the castle to guard the other ponies still suspended.

"I don't get it Carly! How could this have happened?" Danny said to the Alicorn in front of him. Carly held her hoof up to her head and started to groan again.

She stopped and looked up, her eyes green, a look of terror on her face for a split second before she closed her eyes and gave a sinister smile, her visible eye red again.

"Did you see that?" Twilight asked.

"See what? All I saw her do was groan, look up, look down and smile. Big whoop." Danny replied. Right then, something clicked in Twilight's mind.

"Danny, you new Carly as a kid, correct?" Twilight asked. Danny nodded.

"Remind her of things that she might remember. That might bring her out of her trans."

Danny started thinking of things that she had told them and some of the pranks that the original trio had played on her.

"Hey Carly! Remember when you ate that jalapeno that Tucker and I told you wasn't spicy? Or when you ate those Oreos that had expired a year before? What about when you spit milk all over that kid you liked in third grade?" Danny started rambling off embarrassing and funny stories that Carly would remember.

"Stop it," Future Carly groaned, obviously in pain. Danny didn't stop.

"What about when you-" Danny was cut off when a red Unicorn fell from the rafters and fainted. It was future Sarah.

Immediately, Carly stopped groaning, her visible eye green again. She looked around in terror.

"No," she whispered to herself. She set all the ponies free and tried to gallop outside when Dan stopped her.

"Where do you think you're going?" he said and gave her a swift blow to the face. Princess Celestia and Luna galloped up to Dan and tried to use spells on him. He dodged most of them, but it gave future Carly and the trio a chance to gallop outside.

~~~~~~~Meanwhile~~~~~~~

Younger Sarah had woken up and Future Vlad was standing in front of where she was lying, about 100 yards away from the castle. She stood up and staggered back a little.

"Sarah, you can control people's minds. With that power, you can help me control Carly and soon rule both of these worlds," Vlad told Sarah. Being his daughter, Sarah took the challenge. Carly woke up and looked at Sarah one last time before Sarah took over her mind. Carly's eyes turned red and she bolted up.

Older Carly and the trio could already be seen galloping/ flying toward Sarah. Younger Carly was facing the wall of the castle, her horn lit green and a little ball forming there, growing fast. When the ball was as big as herself, she flung it as hard as she could toward the castle.

"No!" future Carly yelled and flew in the direction of the ball, creating a shield before it could hit her. The ball hit Carly and she was pushed back a little ways.

Dan came rushing toward older Carly with Celestia and Luna hot on his tail.

"I'll put up with Hothead while you go deal with Sarah and younger me. Go!" Carly said.

Sarah looked up and saw Danny flying toward her and dodged just before he could kick her. Little Carly looked at Danny with a creepy frown and disappeared. She reappeared behind Danny and sent him across the gigantic courtyard.

Sam came galloping toward Sarah. Oblivious of Sam, Sarah fell and lost her concentration. Little Carly came shooting toward Sarah. There was a green explosion right then and there and Sarah and Carly shot across the courtyard, fainted.

"Carly!" Sam screamed, shocked by the explosion.

Fluttershy volunteered to bring Carly to her house. Everypony gasped when Carly opened her eyes, everypony but future Carly backing up.

"What's wrong?" Carly asked, dazed. One eye was red, like when she was controlled by Sarah, while the other one was blue (she fainted, so she was Carly Loon).

"Oh no…" future Carly trailed off, handing her younger self a mirror. Little Carly gasped and covered her mouth with her hoof to keep herself from screaming.

"What am I gonna do?! I can't let Mom see my eye, and she hates it when I put my bangs over one eye!" Carly yelped.

"You could always stay here." Fluttershy whispered.

"Thanks Fluttershy, but I don't think that portal will stay open forever," Carly said.

"What are you talking about?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Oh, oh, oh! I know! Are you talking about that hole in the sky that you and your friends fell out of?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"Portal? That's impossible. Other dimensions don't exist." Twilight said in deep thought.

"Tell that to my stomach," Tucker said, trying to clutch his belly.

"But where would you stay if you were to go back into this portal?" AJ asked. Carly looked at Sam and she shrugged.

"She could stay with me," Sam suggested. Everypony was convinced it was a good idea.

"So where do you live? Do you ponies live in Canterlot?" Rarity asked, excitement in her voice.

"No," They all answered.

Screaming was heard outside followed by a mad "Where are they?!" that sounded like Dan.

"Dan…" younger Carly mumbled angrily, looking at the door.

"No, you're staying here with the other ponies," older Carly said as her and Danny "went ghost" and flew outside. The main six dragged young Carly to a hiding spot and kept her quiet.

Danny and future Carly came back, exhausted with an angry Dan, two Vlads, and two Sarahs stuffed in a thermos.

Princess Celestia and Luna came over to see Carly and they went to the palace to see if they could figure out a way to fix the Elements of Harmony.

"Maybe we could… no. Maybe… no, that won't work," Twilight said in concentration. All of them were just staring at the gems in their gold frames now, brainstorming.

"I know!" exclaimed Carly. "Maybe if you wore the necklaces, did what you'd normally do, and me and Danny will carefully use some of our powers to seal the cracks," It was worth a try.

The main six put their necklaces on, Twilight, her tiara, and concentrated. The gems started to glow a little bit. When Danny and Carly came around and sealed the crack, they glowed brighter than when the main six had restored them the first time.

Suddenly, Carly and Danny's necks started to glow. When the glow ceased, they both had necklaces like the Elements of Harmony. Danny's, a mixture of red and green that looked like his logo, and Carly's, pink and green shaped like her logo.

"Wow! Now you have one too!" Pinkie Pie blurted out.

"What elements could they control?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Danny has the element of unselfishness, and Carly, the element of bravery," Princess Celestia said.

"How do you know?" Carly asked.

"There were two elements that I lost after I banished my sister to the moon-"

"What?!" the trio said

"It's a long story," Carly told them.

"How do you know more about Equestria than your friends?" Celestia asked Carly.

"Long story short, I'm from a different dimension than my friends, and in my dimension, you all are in a show I like to watch called My Little Pony," Carly explained.

"I still don't get it! There is logically nothing in the universe that could point to another universe! It's impossible!" Twilight said.

"To be honest with you, I still don't get how it works," Carly told Twilight.

With Dan in a thermos and Evil Carly's evil gone, the gang could head home. Before they left, Pinkie threw a party and told them to visit soon. Everypony said farewell to the gang and they went home, that is, everyone but Carly, who still had a red eye. Little did they know, they'd go on another adventure very soon.
