Hello everyone; I'm back once again to bring you another chapter of my story. Just throwing this out there I put up a poll for my next story after I finish Sasuke's Disciple and Ashigaru Kitsune. Now then with nothing else to say let's begin.
Set in Stone: Chapter 22
Hokage tower
Hiruzen, Tsunade and Ibiki were sitting in the hokage office watching the crystal ball; Naruto, Tsubaki and Zabuza were all facing off against Kisame Hoshigaki.
"Are you sure this is wise sensei" Tsunade asked "Naruto is certainly B-rank while Tsubaki and Zabuza are A rank; but Kisame is a S Rank missing nin and one of the 7 swordman of the village hidden in the mist" Tsunade said slightly worried. She knew that Naruto and Tsubaki were both strong but she was not sure about letting them fight against Kisame.
"Don't worry Tsunade" Hiruzen said "it's a good way to measure their progress; besides, I'm not a fool. I thought of a back up plan incase something happens" he said.
"I'm just waiting for him to be captured" Ibiki said "the more we know about the Akatsuki the better; Sarada and her friends had general knowledge about them but we need more concrete info" he said.
Hiruzen nodded "you'll get your chance to interrogate him Ibiki; don't you worry" Hiruzen said.
With Jiraya, Anko, Yugao and Hayate
"Good luck sweetie" Jiraya said "daddy's right here incase of trouble; Jiraya was using a camouflage jutsu to hide himself from Kisame. While he is all for the plan, he did not like putting his daughter in danger.
"Do not worry lord Jiraya" Yugao said behind her Anbu mask "if things get too bad we will jump in and help" she said. Jiraya took in a deep breath.
"I hope it doesn't come to that" he said.
With Ichigo, Haku, Karin, Hinata and Yakumo
"Be careful lord Zabuza" Haku said while hiding in a tree.
"He'll be fine Haku" Ichigo said "remember we are here to help incase they get into too much trouble" he said trying to calm the boy down.
"Be careful Naruto" Hinata said as she looked on with her Byakugan in worry.
"Naruto is strong Hinata" Yakumo said "he won't lose" she said.
"And if it gets too bad I'll just use my chains to restrain fish face right there" Karin said; Hinata calmed down a little.
With Naruto, Tsubaki and Zabuza
Naruto with his one tail cloak activated looked over to Tsubaki; Tsubaki with her 100 healings activated looked at Naruto with a smile and nodded. Naruto then looked over to Zabuza who was looking at Kisame with total focus; Naruto cracked his knuckles and took in a deep breath.
Naruto rushed Kisame his red chakra claws extending; Kisame swung Samehada at Naruto who ducked underneath at the last second. Naruto then tried to hit Kisame with his tail but it was blocked by Kisame's hand; Kisame swung his sword once more hitting Naruto on his cloak sending him flying into a tree.
Before Kisame could follow up with another attack he was attacked by Zabuza; the 2 men locked blades and began a fast-paced sword fight. While Samehada can rip, tear and null chakra Zabuza's sword hit harder and had a foot more of reach.
Zabuza swung his sword at Kisame's legs but Kisame jumped over; Kisame then raised up his sword and brought it down using the fall to increase the power. Zabuza used his sword to block the strike; Zabuza sunk into the ground a few inches from the force of the strike.
Kisame was about to strike again but was interrupted; Kisame was smacked off Zabuza by a tree being wielded by Tsubaki. "I'm still here fish face" Tsubaki yelled.
With Jiraya
'Is she using a tree as a weapon' he thought his eyes nearly popping out of his head.
With Tsunade
"She's using a tree as a weapon" Tsunade said happily making Hiruzen and Ibiki look at her slack jawed "I taught her that" she said with a smug look across her face.
Back to the fight
Kisame landed a few yards away with a angry look on his face; he charged at Tsubaki bringing his sword back. Tsubaki and Kisame both swung their respective 'weapons' at each other; Kisame's sword broke off a quarter of Tsubaki's tree.
"Fuck" Tsubaki cursed as she threw the tree at Kisame who jumped out of the way; Kisame was then met by a rasengan to his side by Naruto. Kisame taking the hit jumped away to gain some distance; he then went through a series of hand signs.
'Water Style: Water Shark Bomb Jutsu' 5 water sharks came out of the nearby pond and were now going to Naruto and Tsubaki.
'Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu' Zabuza created a water dragon in time and destroyed the water sharks.
"Thanks, no brows" Tsubaki said; Zabuza got a tick mark.
'Maybe I should've let you get hit' Zabuza thought; Zabuza then went through another series of handsigns 'Water Style: Water Vortex jutsu'. A vortex of water formed and was now heading to Kisame.
Kisame cursed and swung his sword striking the vortex and destroying it; Zabuza then appeared out of the vortex and slashed at Kisame. Zabuza cut Kisame across his chest ripping open his Akatsuki cloak.
Kisame felt the pain of the injury but did not slow down; Kisame swung his sword at Zabuza. Zabuza was hit on his arm; Samehada ripped the muscle from his arm.
Zabuza screamed as he jumped away; once he stopped, he looked at his arm where there was once muscle there was now bone and torn ligament. Zabuza dropped his sword and tied his head band around his arm to act like a tourniquet.
"Zabuza get out of here" Naruto shouted "get some help; we can take him" he yelled.
"Sure brat" Zabuza said picking up his sword with his one good arm "good luck" he said as he ran off trying to get help before he bleeds out.
"Ok Naruto" Tsubaki said cracking her knuckles "you ready to try again" she said.
"Let's kick his ass" Naruto said; Naruto and Tsubaki then charged Kisame at the same time. Naruto created a rasengan and sent it towards Kisame; Kisame used Samehada to block the attack.
Kisame was the blind sided by Tsubaki who sent a chakra infused punch into his ribs; Kisame coughed up blood and was sent flying into the nearby lake. Naruto and Tsubaki approached the lake and was greeted by a pod of water sharks; Naruto and Tsubaki both dodged the water sharks.
Kisame appeared out of the water transformed into his shark form "I had enough of this" Kisame said with anger in his voice "time to end this charade" he said.
He first targeted Tsubaki who was distracted by dodging another water shark; Kisame hit Tsubaki with his sword tearing the skin off her ribs. Tsubaki screamed in pain but retaliated by punching Samehada out of Kisame's hands; Kisame not deterred punched Tsubaki in the face. He then grabbed her and kneed her in her exposed ribs.
Tsubaki even with her 100 healings active was not able to take the pain; with one final kick to the face Kisame knocked her out.
"Tsubaki" Naruto shouted; Naruto ran over and kicked Kisame away from Tsubaki. Naruto then rushed Kisame and tackled him to the ground; Naruto punched Kisame with his right hand, then his left. When he tried to punch him again Kisame caught the hand and proceeded to break it; Naruto screamed out in pain as his bone popped out of his skin.
"Well brat are you- "Kisame began to say until Naruto headbutted him; Naruto using his head band head butted Kisame in the nose breaking it.
"You'll pay for what you did to Tsubaki" Naruto shouted; Naruto headbutted Kisame again, and again, and again and again.
The others still hiding in the trees were mortified at the display; Naruto was now fighting with only raw animal instinct.
As Naruto continued a second tail of red chakra appeared.
Jiraya seeing this as a bad sign rushed out of cover; his fingers on his right hand began to glow 'five-pronged seal' Jiraya slammed his hand into Naruto's gut. Naruto's cloak began to fade; Naruto's head was bruised and battered and his arm was bleeding heavily.
Jiraya grabbed Naruto "Hinata, Yakumo gets over here n- "Jiraya then ducked under a punch from Kisame who was still conscious somehow. "Anko, Karin" Jiraya yelled.
A long snake appeared out of Anko's sleave and wrapped itself around Kisame's neck and went into his mouth like a gag; Karin's chakra chains appeared and wrapped themselves around Kisame's body restraining him. Kisame was still struggling to break free.
Yakumo then appeared in front of Kisame and placed a genjutsu on him; after 5 minutes of fighting Kisame was now unconscious.
"Fucking monster" Anko said; Hayate, Yugao and Haku all came out and began to transport Kisame. Ichigo sealed up Samehada into a scroll, Hinata ran over to Naruto to provide first aid while Yakumo did the same to Tsubaki.
The last thing Naruto saw was Hinata standing over him shouting for him to stay with her; he then blacked out.
With Sarada and Itachi
"Ok so it's agreed" Sarada said.
"Yes" Itachi said "I will remain with the Akatsuki for the time being; and if there are any updates, I will inform you accordingly" he said. "Along with that" he said; a crow summons then appeared and spat up a vile with Shisui Uchiha's left eye "here is the eye; use it wisely" Itachi said. He then got up and began to walk out "until we meet again" he said "and please give Kisame my condolences" he said.
"Wait hold up" Sarada said stopping Itachi "there is one more thing I need you to do" Sarada said.
"And that is" Itachi asked curious; he then felt a chill as he saw Sarada smile evilly and chuckle darkly.
Sasuke Uchiha's house.
Sasuke was preparing to leave to go find Kakashi to train; he was still pissed that he missed his match and was disqualified. 'Fucking Kakashi' Sasuke thought 'if he wasn't so useful, I wouldn't waste my time with him' he thought. As Sasuke approached the door, he opened it.
Sasuke was hit in the face by the door as it suddenly flew open; Sasuke grabbed his broken nose ad looked up. Itachi Uchiha was standing there plain as day; the man he was training to kill was right there.
"Itachi" Sasuke spat out "I've been- "he didn't get to finish as Itachi then ran forward and kicked him in the chest. Sasuke felt the air leave his body; he was then grabbed by the neck and choke slammed through a coffee table. As Sasuke looked up he saw Itachi's sharingan.
'Tsukiyomi' the next second Sasuke was screaming in agony. While one second passed in the real world; 72 hours in Itachi's genjutsu.
Sasuke was barely conscious as he looked up at Itachi; Itachi then created 3 shadow clones and they all began to kick, beat and stomp on Sasuke. When the beating was over Sasuke was a broken bloody mess.
"You are weak Sasuke; you're not even worth my time for a proper fight" Itachi said; he then walked to the door 'come out of nowhere, beat his ass, tell him he's garbage, leave' Itachi thought 'just like how Sarada instructed' he thought.
'If it wasn't for Sarada trying to lure out Orochimaru for the rest of their plan; I'd kill you right here' Itachi thought as he walked out the door.
At Konoha hospital: the next day
Naruto opened his eyes with a groan "ugghh" Naruto groaned out "where am I" he said.
"Naruto" Tsubaki's voice came; Naruto looked to the side and saw Tsubaki with her head and ribs bandaged "Naruto you're awake" Tsubaki said as she got out of bed. Tsubaki stumbled but corrected herself "oh my god when I saw you when I woke up I was worried" she said.
"Did I win" Naruto asked; Tsubaki chuckled.
"No, you didn't" Tsubaki said making Naruto a little depressed "but you did like 30 percent of the work; I did 30 and Zabuza did 30. Jiraya and the others finished the job and captured him" she said.
"As long as nobody died right" Naruto said and Tsubaki nodded "but it's suck you know; I'm supposed to beat the Akatsuki but I got my ass kicked by only one. And you got hurt" he said a little sad. Tsubaki then sat on his bed and gave him a kiss on his swollen lips.
"Hey you're not in this alone" Tsubaki said "me and Zabuza got hurt too; and Zabuza won't be able to use his sword anymore. Haku is now the new wielder; we'll heal up, we'll get stronger and when the time comes, you'll have everybody by your side" she said.
Naruto then chuckled "I thought it was my job to talk people up" Naruto said making Tsubaki giggle.
"Well, you're hurt so I'm substituting" she said. Tsubaki then looked around and then straddled Naruto "now then" Tsubaki said with a smirk "how about some kisses to make you feel better" she said.
"I'm not going to say no to that" Naruto said; Naruto then began to kiss Tsubaki. His lips and face may have been hurting but he did not care; Tsubaki then started using tongue and Naruto began doing the same. Tsubaki then grabbed Naruto's hand and put it on her breast making him go wide eyed.
"C'mon Naruto" Tsubaki said "no need to be shy; we're all- "she began until the door opened.
"Tsubaki how's your" Tsunade said as she walked in; she then saw Naruto with Tsubaki on top of him, his hand on her breast and a bump under Naruto's cover. "What the hell are you 2 doing" Tsunade said as she became angry.
Tsubaki got off Naruto and began waiving her hands "m-m-mom, hey ummm… I was ummm" she began until Tsunade grabbed her ear and began pulling her out of the room.
"You are not allowed to be in that room alone young lady" Tsunade scolded "I'm to young to be a grandma" she said.
"But you're like 1000 years old" Naruto said; Tsubaki lost all color in her face and Tsunade turned around with an evil look.
"I'm 51 you little shit" Tsunade screamed as Tsubaki held back her mom from trying to kill Naruto.
Ok another chapter done; and not really a spoiler but next chapter is going to be the beginning of the Sasuke retrieval arc. By the way I based Itachi and Sasuke's interaction off of Baki the grappler; Yujiro comes out of nowhere, beats his son's ass, tell him he sucks and leaves.
