OK now that all the family members have been found now is the time to begin the next arc of this story, based on an image of the book, the typical Taskara clothes are similar to the traditional clothes of the Romani.
The next morning after morning prayers, Chanchalla took a moment to look at her parents now dressed in Taskara clothes, her Mother who had probably worn these clothes before and seemed perfectly content, her Father who was used to wearing the colorful robes of the Sunborn Caste, was now in the much more drab hues, black pants, white shirt, gray vest, since he was a black and white Janah himself, the clothes complimented his natural pelt very well, but as he stopped to look at his reflection at the water's edge, adjusting his vest a bit, the expression on his face left no doubt how strange he felt in these clothes.
"Don't worry about it..." Piang purred "...You look as handsome as you ever."
Ayrram gave a small smile, remembering the reason he fell in love with her, when he thought she was only a bathhouse proprietor and masseuse, she seemed to be the only Janah who truly cared about him, as she massaged him while he told her about the horrible harridans that was his first two wives, and she seemed to express genuine sympathy. Now he saw at that time she was just buttering him up to learn his secrets so she could get into his house and steal his stuff, and looking back he guessed she herself was actually surprised when he proposed marriage as normally the difference in Caste, even the small difference between Sunborn and Trade Caste is never crossed, and looking back he remembered how embaressed she seemed after the wedding with how much he showered her with affection and attention, it seemed it was then she truly realized how miserable and lonely he was, the reason he would dare to marry a member of the merchant caste as long as he felt genuine connection.
And that brought him to their daughter...Last night while he had been thinking, he began to realize that because he was an unorthodox thinker himself, being willing to marry outside his caste for love, than really it was clear why Chanchalla was such an oddball herself she was just more of what he was! And it had become clear to both of Challa's parents since they both understand body language cues, that Chanchalla was in love with the Turtle with the blue mask called Leonardo...At this point Ayrram had all but forgotten the old family grudge against Sarpah, he had seen the Turtles were honorable despite their strangeness and he could see the tender glances Chanchalla and Leonardo exchanged were those he knew well were expressions of the purest love.
As they approached their daughter who they noticed had been watching them, Challa already had something to say.
"Father," She said softly "Just curious since I didn't ask last night, since I was told you both came willingly when you saw the letter, was it that alone that let you be so calm around the Turtles despite the fact they are Sarpah?"
Ayrram sighed "I've had a lot of time to think during my enslavement..." He said "...I kept thinking back to that dreadful night because I was trying to figure out how it happened...Thinking back to when I plunged the knife into Samtra's heart...Going over it over and over again to try to figure out why I did it...I remember...I saw the Snake in my garden...and then...All I could feel was the familiar old anger but this time I could not control it, the intense burning anger only went away after the deed was done, even before thinking a Sir'hibasi had put a curse on me, I was beginning to realize if I didn't already feel hatred towards Sarpah then it never would have happened and really the only reason I carried the ancestral grudge was because I was told by my father how we had been displaced from our rightful royal status...So already I was beginning to think about giving up the grudge, and reading your letter about how these turtles and sheltered and protected you, well that was the final sign I needed to see that the family grudge was wrong..."
Just then the sound of a rooster's grow got everyone's attention, Punivatum had done some divination with what were essentually 'Dardunah Tarot Cards' and had some important news for everyone.
"As you all know..." The Black Rooster said "...Soon in Sadaham the Isvar's Nephew is to be married!"
This was news to the Turtles, but they realized if they were Natives they probably would known long ago, and they probably would have known if the could understand more the Janah.
"But those who have made a pact with the Devourer have let him see into Dardunah..." Puni said grimly "...He has cast his vile eye on the Jewel of Tishnia and specifically with Isvar Kelentos himself! It wishes to gain control of the Isvar to begin control over Dardunah!"
Every Janah gasped with fright.
"The Night of the Wedding Celebration is the night of Greatest Danger..." Puni said "...We must find some way to protect the Isvar!"
So the set up for the next chapter also some explanation for why Ayrram was so cooperative
