News: I finally saw the Super Mario Bros. Movie. Rating: Excellent!

It took me a while because it is a bad idea to watch a new movie the day it's released, and getting tickets was a little, I repeat, a little trickier than it sounded.

Now that that's been said, let's get to it!

When the lift reached the top, everyone got off while looking around in awe at Little Fungitown.

The Beanbean Kingdom visitors were easily reminded of the Mushroom Kingdom when they saw it.

Suddenly, Aaron remembered something.

He said to the group, "Hey, guys, do you mind if I leave for a second to to do something?"

"Not at all, Aaron. We can explore the town while you do what you need to do." Mario politely responded.

When the three of them walked past Aaron, Mario and Luigi continued on, while Peach stopped when she suddenly heard the sound of a block being hit, and the sound a warp pipe makes when someone goes through it.

He turned around and saw a light green warp pipe sticking out the side of a mushroom-shaped house.

That...was not there before.

Curiously, Peach walked towards the pipe and looked inside. Not sure why. You can never see what's on the other end of a warp pipe.

Eh, who knows? Anyway, again out of curiosity, she went into the pipe.

When she came out the other end, she saw that she was in a house of some kind. It wasn't round on the inside like a Toad's house.

The walls were painted black and had double white stripes going across them. There was some furniture like a bed with the same colors, a bedside table with a lamp and two books, across from it was a desk with a blueprint sketchbook, some tools, pencils and pens, and a camera, there was a trunk on the end of the bed, a shelf that had a Rubik's cube and a glass case with a Superstar power-up inside, and next to it was a closet. On the other side of the house was a set of stairs that led up to a couch across from a thin and wide T.V. screen, which was connected to a couple of consoles. Back on the bottom floor, next to the stairs, was a little kitchen area next to a dining table.

Right now, she saw Aaron looking around the place for something.

When he noticed Peach, he said, "Oh, hey princess. Welcome to my home, I guess."

"You live here?" she asked.

"Mhm. A regular home away from home."

"What do you mean?"

"Uh, how can I put this? I'm not from around here, and I don't mean the Beanbean Kingdom. It's a long story, but I'll shorten it the best I can."

Aaron kept rummaging around his home as he explained to Peach how he came into this world.

"I was around sixteen when it all happened. I was just a regular kid in a city called Baton Rouge. I was out for a walk, minding my business walking down the street, when all of a sudden I heard some kind of music. I followed it into an alleyway and right when it stopped, saw a block just floating there above the ground. I tapped it, but nothing happened. I grabbed it and ran home to show my family. When I told them about it, they didn't believe me. Then I thought it'd be best if I kept this a secret. I tried everything to get the block to do something when I brought it to my room. The last thing I did was hit the block from underneath. When that happened, the block turned into a warp pipe and attached itself against the wall. I was confused at first, but I looked inside and I then got sucked in. I popped out the other side of the pipe right into the water around Beanbean Castle."

"Oh my goodness." Peach said.

"Yeah, that wasn't one of the best thing to happen to me." Aaron said, now looking in the trunk,

Luckily, I knew how to swim. The second I got outta the water, I was met with the Beanish guards' spears. If it wasn't for Prince Peasley, I probably would've gotten executed on the spot. Peasley and I became friends, I met the queen and Lady Lima before Peasley helped me back up into the pipe and I went home for the day. After that day, I was debating if I should go again, and I told myself that one visit wouldn't hurt. I hit the block, went through the pipe, and stopped myself from falling in the water that time. I thought I'd pop by and say hi, but later I'd figure that that day would be the day I'd never forget."

"What happened?" Peach asked.

"Turns out, I chose the worst time to visit the Beanbean Kingdom. *goes to closet and opens it* On that day was my first encounter with Cackletta and Fawful. *rummages through closet* It was my first battle in this world too, and I won with perfectly timed jumps, and a single Ice Flower. They left for the day, and the kingdom congratulated me. I started visiting more frequently. That got on Cackletta and Fawful's nerves more than once."

Aaron looked away from the block before seeing what he was looking for sticking out from under his bed. He went to it and picked it up.

It was revealed to be a jacket like the one Aaron was wearing. He took the one he already had on off, and replaced it with the one he found.

"I finally decided to tell my family about the warp pipe block, and when they didn't believe me a second time, I activated the block and showed them the pipe to the kingdom. I am glad that we moved the pipe so it came out of other side of the castle. They believed me finally, and this became a family secret.

When it was time for me to move out the house, I decided to stay here in this world, and over time, it wasn't so bad. The queen gave me a place to stay, and I've been working on my own stuff since like this jacket. What it does is-"

Out of nowhere, a scream was heard from the pipe.

Knowing that it was possibly trouble of some kind, Aaron told Peach, "I think it's better if I just show you what it does."

They went through the pipe and when they came out into Little Fungitown, and the pipe had turned into a palm sized block which Aaron had put away in his pocket.

They then saw two Toads run right past them.

Then another Toad came running towards them in a panic almost knocking Peach over and circled around Aaron in a frenzy.

Aaron put his hand down at the right time, which held the Toad in place by the head.

"What's cooking?" Aaron asked.

"Monsters got into Little Fungitown and are coming this wa-AAHHH! *runs away*"

Aaron shook his head. Why were Toads so scared of almost everything?

Aaron looked to his left where the Toad had looked and saw what the problem was.

Coming this way were two Gritty Goombas, but they had wings made of bandages, making them Gritty Paragoombas. Don't know how that works, but I stopped asking that question a while ago.

Aaron took a stretch before getting into a fighting stance.

Play the Battle Theme 'Come on!' here.

"This might look difficult." Aaron said to Peach, who stood to the side, "Sure, I can't jump on them due to their pointed heads, or use my hammer or Frostpalm because their high up off the ground, but thanks to this jacket, I can do something new."

Aaron reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a some kind of orange POW block. Instead of the word 'POW' that should be on the side, it had the letter 'A'.

Aaron pulled back and threw it at the middle of the ground, and when it hit the ground, it went *BOOM!* and the blast radius reached and hit the Gritty Paragoombas, doing some damage to them.

The Gritty Paragoombas then one after the other dove towards Aaron, but he jumped over them just in time before they went back to floating in the air in front of him.

Aaron pulled out another one of his POW blocks and tossed it in the direction of the Gritty Paragoombas like last time.

They tried to swoop down at Aaron like last time, but Aaron counterattacked with his hammer. The hits both knocked them back, and did enough damage to knock their wings off, now making them just Gritty Goombas.

Now that they were down on earth, he could use his hammer and Frostpalm, but he decided to not use them and kept throwing his POW blocks.

After another round of countering, Aaron won the fight!

Cut the music!

After the Gritty Goombas poofed away after being K.O.'ed, the princess said Aaron, "Amazing. So that jacket your wearing makes POW blocks?"

"Well, for now. Hoohooniverity's block research students got me into doing my own block research. I made this jacket that could craft my own blocks, but right now, it can only make POW blocks. I can upgrade it sometime in the future.

So, yeah. Life's pretty fun in this world. I'm glad I decided to live here."

"I'm glad you're enjoying it here, Aaron." Peach said with a smile.

"Thanks, your highness." Aaron said. "Y'know, maybe I'll come visit the Mushroom Kingdom someday. I might like it."

Suddenly, a Toad came running this way and before he could panic, Aaron said, "Don't worry, the monsters are dealt with."

But what the Toad said next got their attention.

"What are you talking about?! There's an emergency! Mario's in the infirmary!"

"What?!/Oh no!" Aaron and Peach said.

Later, at Little Fungitown hospital...

Luigi brought Aaron and Peach up to speed when they arrived next to Mario's hospital bed.

Earlier, Mario and Luigi were in the Little Fungitown arcade. The Bros. beat the high score in the Star 'Stache Smash game and won an 'Invincishroom' as a prize. Mario then ate said mushroom, but when it caused him to get a green face and not look like himself, it revealed that it was not an Invincishroom, but a poison mushroom.

"Hmmm...Green hue...Yes...Discoloration in the face...The symptoms seem to indicate...Bean Fever! No mistaking it!" the Toad doctor diagnosed.

"What's-a Bean Fever?" Luigi said, confused.

Aaron explained, "It's a sickness that affects people who aren't used to the food around here."

"W-Well then, can it be cured?" Peach asked.

"Yeah, of course." "Not exactly."

Everyone turned to the doctor after he debunked what Aaron said.

"Had I the right remedy, I could cure him, but sadly, I'm all out."

"...Okay." Aaron started, "So, we have two options: either wait three days for Mario to turn into a bean-"

That made Luigi and Peach gasp. "H-He'll do what?!" Luigi asked.

"He'll turn into a bean." Aaron said again, "I've seen it before to those who had the Bean Fever."

Peach: "You've seen this before?!" "Eleven times to be exact.

So, either we wait for that to happen, or we head off to the west of Little Fungitown to Guffawha Ruins and go on a perilous journey to get the only cure for Mario: a special something called Crabbie Grass.

All in favor of option two? *raises hand*"

"I'll go with you." said Luigi.

"Oh, so you're going too, Luigi?" asked Peach.

"Anything to help my big bro!" he replied with determination while putting his fist to his chest.

Then the Toad doctor said, "On a side note, according to recent research..."

He made a poster drop down on the wall, and the image on it spooked Luigi.

"frightful monsters such as these have settled into Guffawha Ruins. Rumors say that those who have been attacked by these monsters have had their bones broken, their flesh stripped, and all their blood sucked out...Yuck."

"Well, has anyone actually seen this happen?" Aaron deadpanned. Again, he knows that Toads are easily scared, and can overexaggerate sometimes. They probably just saw something they thought was scary and ran off screaming or something. That had to have started some rumors.

"...Well, that's what they say!" the doctor said.

"Oh my! That's quite frightful!" Peach said.

"Don't worry, princess. We can do it. Right Lui- Uh, Luigi?"

The male in black looked at the man in green. He was scared stiff.

Aaron poked him twice and he didn't react.

"*clicks tongue* We'll be fine. We'll be back, princess." Aaron pulled Luigi by the arm out of the hospital and when they were outside he let go.

Aaron pulled out a block from his jacket and threw it in front of them and the *BOOM!* woke Luigi out of his trance.

"Luigi, you're one of the Mario Bros.. You cannot tell me you're scared."

"B-But there's a bone breaking, flesh stripping, blood sucking monster!"

"You don't know that! Toads would see a neon light sign say there was an energy monster running around!

*breathes* Look, L-Man, you've saved Mario from King Boo and from Bowser once. You're one of the highest jumpers I know, and you're a brave soul when the time comes. If you can't do it now for you and not for me, then do it for Mario, who's always been there for you."

Luigi then thought for a couple of seconds before straightening his hat and putting on a smirk. "For Mario."

"For Mario. *fist bumps Luigi* C'mon!"

The two than ran on their way to Guffawha Ruins and get the Crabbie Grass to save Mario from his bean-y fate.
