Sage of the Fairies Chapter 3: Naruto Returns and Confessions?
Naruto had just taken the three mages to the hospital where they could recover with Naruto watching over them. He had sent a shadow clone to his parents to get them to the hospital, so he could explain what had happened and find out what had been going on.
During the past year, Naruto had grown a lot not just in power, but he has significantly healed emotionally as well after having numerous talks with Kurama about Yugito. He still missed her greatly, but he knew that she would've kicked his ass for how he was acting for the first few months. He can remember one night where something happened that changed everything involving Yugito and his behavior. It was about four months out since he left Fairy Tail for his trip.
Flashback
Naruto had been training his RInne-Sharingan along with Kurama's power and bloodline's that he had managed to unlock, but it was a slow process even with shadow clones since his mind had been elsewhere most of the time. He couldn't get the feeling out of his mind that he failed Yugito and with him starting to develop feelings for Mira and Levy made him feel like he was betraying her. He felt horrible about it and wanted the feeling to stop. Not only that, but he was blaming himself for the loss of his village and friends for not being powerful enough to stop Obito and Madara.
One night he was sleeping when he suddenly appeared in a white void not knowing where he was. Nothing looked familiar, when he heard a voice call out his name.
"Naruto-kun." The voice said.
Naruto tried to pinpoint the direction of the voice, but couldn't tell where it was coming from when he heard it again.
"Naruto-kun." Again called out to him. This time he could tell where it was coming from. He followed the voice as it kept calling his name, not sure what to expect, but to be ready for it. When he finally found where the voice was coming from, he was shocked to see who was standing in front of him. She was wearing the exact same thing as the very last time he saw her. Yugito had long, straight, blonde, hair bound with taut bandages, dark eyes and she wore red lipstick. She wore a short-sleeved black and purple blouse and black pants, both of which had a design similar to clouds on them, purple fingerless gloves and a chain of blue beads wound around her left hand. She also wore the standard Kumogakure forehead protector, sandals and a kunai holster, which was strapped to her right thigh. Yugito was wearing bandages around her arms and legs as well as a red belt around her waist.
Not knowing what to say since he didn't know what to say, so he just looked away from her ashamed of his past now that he was seeing his deceased lover again. He was ashamed at not being able to protect her like he should've.
Yugito saw this and frowned at her lover knowing full well how he was feeling regarding what had happened. She walked up to him until they were mere inches apart face to face.
"Naruto-kun. Please look at me." She said softly.
He didn't respond and continued to look at the floor, so she called out again, but this time firmer. This time he looked at her with eyes that were not their vibrant blue eyes that she loved so much, but were dull as if he had lost everything making her feel sad at how he must be feeling.
"I'm sorry." He said quietly, but she still heard him.
"You don't need to be sorry Naruto-kkun." She said, but he shook his head.
"I'm so sorry Yugito-chan. I failed you in protecting you and everyone else. I should've been there with you when you fought the Akatsuki. I was supposed to protect you from them." His tears running down his cheek as he fell to his knees. "I'm so sorry for not being strong enough to save you from them. I wasn't good enough to save you and Matatabi from those monsters. I can't ever forgive myself for what happened to you." He sobbed as she pulled him into a hug as he sobbed into her chest saying sorry over and over again.
"No Naruto-kun. It wasn't your fault. It was all those bastards that took me away from you. You did what you could and that is nothing to be ashamed of. I'm sad that I wasn't able to make it back to you, but I am happy that you made it out alive." She said as he continued to cry.
"BUT IT'S MY FAULT THAT THEY GOT TO YOU! IF I HAD BEEN THERE THAN THINGS WOULD'VE BEEN DIFFERENT AND YOU WOULDN'T HAVE DIED! I FAILED YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE! I WASN'T STRONG ENOUGH TO STOP THEM AND NOW THEY'VE TAKEN EVERYONE I CARED ABOUT AWAY FROM ME! I EVEN RAN AWAY AND NOW THEY HAVE TAKEN EVERYTHING AWAY FROM ME! MATATABI-CHAN IS TRAPPED IN THAT STATUE AND THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT AS I'M FAR TOO WEAK TO STOP THEM!" He cried out in anger and sadness.
She did something that Naruto didn't expect was for her to pull Naruto into a loving kiss one that he easily returned which lasted a few minutes turning into them making out. They pulled away for some much needed time with Yugito smiling lovingly at him making him confused since he still believed he failed her.
"Why? Why aren't you angry at me?" He asked his deceased lover.
"Because it wasn't your fault. You had done everything you possibly could and for that I can't blame you. So please, stop blaming and hurting yourself like this. It's not good for you." She said worried.
"I know. It's just I can't help, but feel responsible for losing like how I did. It's hard to move on and I'm scared too." He told her, making her smile at him as she reached up and cupped his cheek making him relax into the touch.
"I know Naruto-kun, but you need to let go. I want you to move on. I've been watching over you and I'm happy you were able to reunite with your parents and made some friends. Especially those two Levy and Mira. They've done a lot for you and I couldn't be any happier. I know you have started developing feelings for them, but you're holding back because of your fear of betraying me right?" She asked, getting a nod from him showing she was correct. "Well don't. I want you to find love again and to be happy and those two care about you greatly. Please for me, move on and live your life happily okay? No matter what happens Naruto-kun, I'll always love you and will always be proud to have met you, my unpredictable man." She lovingly said kissing his cheek.
"I-I'll try my love. Thank you so much my fiery blonde princess. I love you too and I will rescue Matatabi and the others. They don't deserve to be trapped in that statue. That I can promise you." He said as he held her hand on his cheek.
"I know you will save her. It's about time for me to go back Naruto-kun and remember that I will always love you and know that I approve of Levy and Mira if you return their feelings. Goodbye Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze." She said disappearing from his view causing him to wake up.
"Thank you Yugi-chan. I will try to move on and I will rescue the other Biju." He told himself. 'Ready Kurama?' He asked his partner.
'Ready kit. I'm glad to have you back now for good. We got a lot of work to do and with how you're feeling now, things will go much smoother in your training.' The Biju told him.
'Alright then. Let's do this! We're going to save your siblings from them! That's a promise of a lifetime.' He promised with a new found determination lit in him and he has Yugito to thank for everything.
'Glad to have you back to normal kit. Can't believe I'm saying this about another human, but thanks Yugito Nii. You brought him back.' He thought to himself with a chuckle.
End of Flashback
He was brought out of his thoughts when he heard the door open to reveal his parents show up with Kushina halting when she saw her son next to Levy holding her hand in his making her smile, but decided to save that for later as she was worried about her and her teammates.
"Hey son. It's good to see you again. I want to know who did this, your clone mentioned that they were attacked, but didn't say by who. Can you tell us what happened?" Minato asked in his "Hokage" mode.
"I was on my way to the Magnolia when I felt a pull from one of the kanai's I gave Levy and Mira before I left and when I appeared she and her teammates were both unconscious and found the attacker to be Gajeel Redjox the Iron Dragon Slayer of Phantom Lord. I fought him and managed to send him running and then I brought them here, so they could recover afterwards I had a shadow clone contact you and then here you are." Naruto explained getting angry about what had happened to Levy and was worried for her.
Minato and Kushina looked at each other angry at their guildmates being attacked, but also worried at the same time.
"So they decided when they didn't get a rise out of us from attacking the guildhall they decided to go after one of our own huh? I say we go after Minato. They're declaring war on us, by doing this and are even pushing becoming a dark guild." Kushina suggested getting angry at one of her favorite people getting hurt.
"I couldn't agree more. We'll worry about it in the morning, so we can plan on how we're going to do this. We can't just rush in as I think that's what Jose wants for us to do. I think something else is in play here." Minato said, trying to figure out what they're plans are.
"May I make a suggestion?" Naruto asked getting their attention, making them wonder what he had in mind.
"What do you think we should do?" Minato asked.
"Report this to the magic council, Jose wouldn't expect this to happen as it would not only put him in a difficult spot. I can also let them know that we'd plan to take them on since they were basically declaring war against us as it would give us the right to retaliate." Naruto suggested.
"How would you get the council's approval so quickly son?" Kushina asked intrigued as she wanted nothing more than to kick Jose's ass for what he did.
"I have a lacrima on me I can use to contact them and they'd be okay with as they owe me a favor after helping them out a couple months ago." He said getting a shit eating grin from his mother who was proud of her son for being able to hold one over the Magic Council.
"Ha, that's my boy!" Kushina grinned proud of her son having one over those greedy, controlling bastards.
We can make our move in the morning. Why don't you stay here for the night and let us worry about the guild, so you can watch over Levy. After this whole ordeal though, I'd like to hear all about your trip." Minato said.
"I'd like that. I wouldn't be able to leave her side anyway, since Gajeel failed to do any more harm to them and I'd rather not take the risk of them getting attacked again during the night, so I'll just pull up a chair and wait for them to wake up." He said getting nods from his parents as they left, but not before Kushina told him that Mira would like to see him too, making him groan as she chuckled.
Naruto walked over to where Levy was at with a chair next to her as he sat down next to her bed and held her hand in his softly.
"I won't let my past control me anymore. I've moved on finally and I hope we can still go on that date that me, you, and Mira talked about. I'm sorry for being so shut out as I was still holding onto my past with Yugito thinking that if I moved on from her that I would be betraying her. After having quite the talk she gave me, she helped me realize how foolish I've been acting. I may be slow in our relationship if we decide to take that step, but I will do whatever it takes to make you and Mira both happy." He said quietly, not wanting to wake her up.
What he didn't know was that she had heard everything he said and she couldn't have been any happier hearing that he's willing to give her a chance. She'll have to ask him about Yugito talking to him which confused her since she was dead. For now, she'll sleep like he'd tell her too if he found out she was awake.
Following morning
Naruto had woken up after spending the night in the hospital making sure that nothing else happened to Levy. He was now using the lacrima while in the room, to call the council with his favor and to tell them what had transpired and that he and his guild would be given permission to handle it without repercussions since they were attacked first.
"Come on. Answer damn it. He said when someone was answering finally with a woman who looked to be in her early twenties. Sher is a pale-skinned woman with dark purple hair and red eyes. How she wears her hair varies from time to time. She has a rather voluptuous figure, and she wears a long revealing dress, sporting a striped pattern. This was Ultear Milkovich.
"Hello Naruto. It's nice to hear from you, but I take it this isn't a social call right?" She asked curiously.
"You're right it isn't. Last night guild members from Fairy Tail were attacked by someone from Phantom Lord who I assume was trying to cause a war. Is the council listening in on this? I'd like to cash that favor in." He said surprising her and the others there is indeed the council was listening in.
"Yes everyone is listening in, I'll have this call transferred so everyone can see you." She said as she did just that so everyone could see him and he could see them as well.
"Thank you for answering my call this morning as I know you have things to do, but like I said a minute ago, some members of Fairy Tail were attacked by Phantom Lord who I encountered who was trying to start a war with us. The favor I'd like to ask is that you let us handle them without consequences. I'd never ask something like this, but it's important that this matter be settled with us. With this favor, we'll be even and won't owe me anything." He told them getting murmurs from the councilors with Crawford being the chairman is leading the discussion.
10 minutes later of discussing they quiet down indicating they have made their decision. "After some discussion, we will allow your guild to handle the issue, but leave Jose alive for us to take into custody as he will be tried for his crimes as lately he's been making some questionable decisions, so this makes it easier for us to handle. You have our support in this. Thank you for bringing this matter to us. Is that all Mr. Namikaze?" The chairman Crawford asked.
"Yes it is. Thank you for doing this. I will make sure to let my father know about this immediately." Naruto said as the call ended as a sigh escaped him.
"Naruto?" He heard a voice call out.
He turned his head to see Levy waking him as she was looking at him from where she was laying down. Now that he got a good look at her, she had grown a little, but had become even more beautiful. She was now a low B-cup size with wider hips, long smooth legs, and her hair had a grown a little as well.
"Hey Levy. It's me. How are you feeling?" He asked quietly.
"Not too bad, what happened exactly? I remember walking with Jet and Droy when all of a sudden we were…." She gasped remembering everything, making her start to tear up from the encounter she went through.
He immediately went to comfort her as she started to cry quietly. "It's okay Levy, nothing else happened afterwards. I sent him away and he won't be bothering you again. I promise you that." He said to her as she hugged him crying into his shoulder as she caressed her back gently to comfort her.
"I understand you need to go, but can you leave a clone here as I would like the company?" She asked softly after hearing his conversation.
"I'm sorry that I have to go, but I can leave a clone here as he got up and went through some hand signs. "Wood Style: Wood Clone." He whispered as a clone made entirely of wood appeared beside him. "There, this one is much more durable than a Shadow Clone and will watch over you and the others while I pay a little visit to Phantom." He said as he went to leave, when all of a sudden he felt a tug on his shirt getting his attention. He turned towards her when she sat up further and kissed his cheek with a small blush on her cheeks.
"That's for good luck. Be safe out there." She said wishing him luck as he smiled back hiding his own blush as he disappeared in wind.
Fairy Tail
Minato and Kushina had been gathering everyone in the guild hall to explain what had happened last night with Team Shadow Gear as everyone was wondering what was going on since they looked very serious even Makarov wasn't sure about what was going on.
"Minato, Kushina, can you tell me what's going on? You both seem to be on edge about something. Did something happen last night that we should know about?" Makarov asked worriedly.
"Yes, but I'll explain in a minute. My son should be getting here soon, as he wants to be a part of what's to happen too." Minato said getting confused, but relented on the matter, deciding to wait until the boy showed up.
"I wonder what Master Minato called all of us here this morning? He normally doesn't and he and Mrs. Kushina is being serious about something." Erza said, confused.
"I know the feeling. I'm wondering if something big is about to happen. I just hope it's nothing serious. It seems they're waiting on someone to show up though, but who?" Mira asked her best friend, putting her finger to her chin in thought.
"We'll just have to wait to find out." Erza said when she heard shouting from two familiar people.
"What was that ice queen?!" A pink haired dragon slayer asked.
"I said shut it dragon breath! You're being too annoying." A familiar ice user said.
"I'll kick your ass stripper." Natsu challenged.
"I doubt it, but bring it on fire boy!" Gray countered.
"There they go at it again. It's too early for this right now, but I wonder where Levy is? I haven't seen her yet here." A blonde girl said, looking around for her friend.
She has brown eyes and shoulder-length blonde hair that is usually tied by ribbons in a variety of colors in a small ponytail to the right side of her head with the rest of the hair loose. She wore a white sleeveless shirt with a blue stripe going across her chest that looked to be DD-cup size along with it on the edges going up the middle with a collar that went up her neck. She wore a blue skirt that hugged her figure quite nicely with a brown belt that held a whip and an assortment of keys as well. She lastly wore long brown boots that went just under her knees.
It was at this time the doors opened to reveal Naruto making everyone look at him with happy expressions to see the blonde again after a year of him being gone save for one person who was elated to see him again and another who had one thought running through her mind.
'Wow, he's hot!' She screamed in her mind, blushing at seeing him.
'You're back Naruto-kun! I've missed you a lot!' She said to herself in her mind.
"Look, it's Naruto!" One mage shouted.
"I wonder how he's doing since he left along with if he's okay you know?" Another mage asked.
"Naruto fight me!" Natsu shouted charging at him with his lit fist, but before he could do anything Naruto stopped his fist with his bare hand, surprising everyone except for a few.
"Not now Natsu. I need to meet up with mom and dad, so they can begin explaining why you're all here right now because trust me, you'll want to hear this." Naruto told him as others heard it, getting their curiosity peaked.
"Fine, but later we'll fight!" He shouted pointing at him who nodded with a small smirk before using a fire shunshin leaving him in awe at it and appearing beside his parents.
"Master Makarov, it's good to see you again." He said to the retired guild master.
"You too, my boy. Do you know what's going on?" He asked the son of Minato.
"I actually do. Same goes for mom and dad, they'll be explaining it now." He said, turning towards them who nodded.
"I take it they gave us the okay to handle it?" Minato asked, getting a grinning nod from his son. "Good." He smirked.
"Listen up everyone! I appreciate everyone coming in this morning as we got some news to share with you as it involves a few members that aren't here at the moment. Last night Team Shadow Gear was attacked by a member of Phantom Lord!" He announced as all the mages blew up in anger.
"What?!"
"How dare they!"
"Let's go kick their asses for what they did!" Natsu shouted.
"ENOUGH!" Minato shouted, silencing everyone. "You'll get your chance." He surprised them not expecting that. "We recently got permission from the Magic Council to deal with this ourselves without getting punished by them. If we're going to do this, we're going to not just hit them, we're going to hit them hard. Here's how we'll do this." He went on to explain the plan to everyone with the help of Naruto who they would be getting split up into groups to take out their smaller bases where they'd have the strongest mages hit their main guild hall where Jose should be. "That is all, we'll get started tomorrow, so everyone be ready and make sure you get plenty of sleep tonight." Minato finished
Everyone agreed with the plan as they'd be crippling them with some of them wondering how they got permission to fight against Phantom.
"How'd you get the council to agree to this Master? They normally wouldn't allow this." Erza commented confusedly.
"Well they seemed to owe my son a favor and he cashed it in, so now we show Phantom what happens when you mess with Fairy Tail." Narruto said with no one expecting that with jaws hitting the ground making Naruto chuckle at this.
"For now, get ready and for those who won't be fighting now stay here at the guild and wait for your chance. That is all." Minato said concluding the meeting with Naruto jumping down seeing many look at him warily.
"You guys don't need to be afraid of me. I know my introduction and what I did last year was brutal and scared many of you and I can only apologize for what I did and hope you can learn to not be afraid of me." He bowed his head in shame for letting his emotions control him when he fought Laxus.
"You have nothing to be sorry for Naruto-kun. You were hurting and in pain after everything you had been through along with what he had said about your fiance." Mira smiled at him in understanding.
'Fiance?' She asked herself sadly. 'All of the good ones always seem to be taken.' She said.
"Yeah man. I'm glad to have you here. Besides, it was a year ago and with you here Phantom Lord will pay for what they did to our friends." Natsu grinned at him who nodded back at the Dragon Slayer.
"Firehead is right. It was a year ago and you seem to have become a lot more level headed, so it's no trouble." Gray said, agreeing with his rival.
"Actually now that I think about it, you seem very different. Your aura seems calmer and seems to be at peace." Erza noticed who smiled at her.
"You can say that Yugito gave me the ass kicking and wake up call I needed to move on." He said with that news surprising everyone including his parents who were listening.
"WHAT!?" Everyone shouted surprised except for Lucy who looked around confused.
"Um excuse me, but who's this Yugito you're talking about?" She asked.
"She was my fiance, but sadly lost her life back home. During my travels, she appeared in my dreams and had an intervention with me. Let's just say that she gave me the words I needed to hear and told me that I need to move on." He said with a smile who all looked at him with sad smiles.
"I'm glad you were able to move on to Naruto-kun. What were you doing on your travels?" Mira asked, glad to hear that her crush felt better.
"I learned a lot. I feel better than I have in a long time." He smirked as he showed his eyes that changed from their usual blue to purple with four rings and tomoes in them, shocking them all who hadn't seen them before.
"Woah! What are those?! Those eyes look freaky, what are they?!" Natsu shouted/asked others thinking the same thing.
"These are the combination of two different eyes that are called Dojutsu's back in the Elemental Nation called the Rinnegan and the Sharingan. They grant me several techniques and abilities that I've been working on since I left and have mastered a few of them, but far from perfection in all of them." Naruto said.
"How'd you get them though son? You never did tell us and the only way you could've gained those eyes was if they were." Kushina trailed off with Minato thinking the same with their eyes widening, but everyone else was confused by what she meant.
"Kushina-sensei, what do you mean?" Erza asked.
"What she means is, they were transplanted into mine from a friend since he trusted me with them." He said getting weird looks from a few of them.
"That's pretty weird. To have someone else's eyes in yours." Natsu said, thinking it was strange along with others.
"Maybe, but if his friend trusted that kind of power with him, then it's a good thing. Imagine if someone else had gotten them who was evil." Gray mentioned as everyone slowly paled at the thought.
"He's right. For now though, we focus on Phantom." He said before looking at Mira. "Mira-chan, can I talk to you for a little bit?" He asked her who nodded with a smile as they walked off not seeing the large grin from Kushina who couldn't be more proud of her son.
"I'm so proud of him Minato-kun. He's grown up so much this last year and we have Yugito to thank for his change." She leaned on her husband's shoulder.
"I am too Kushi-chan." He kissed her wife's cheek.
With Naruto and Mira
As Naruto was walking with her he could now get a good look at her and she was even more beautiful than a year ago. She had grown to a E-cup size with wide hips like Levy. She wore the same maroon dress as before. Despite them both being shorter, it made them look extremely cute and hot.
They had gotten far enough away from everyone to where no one could hear their conversation. Mira could see Naruto was nervous about something, but she wasn't sure what since they met, he'd never been nervous about anything. This made her wonder what he wanted to talk to her about. She was brought out of her thoughts when he heard him call her name.
"Yes Naruto-kun?" Mira asked him.
"You alright? You seemed to have been lost in thought?" He asked her worriedly.
"Nothing. I was just thinking about something. What did you want to talk to me about?" She asked, tilting her head.
"Well now may not be the best time, but I was wondering when this whole ordeal is over with Phantom Lord if you'd be interested in going on a date with me?" He asked shyly.
Mira couldn't believe what she was hearing. She didn't expect him to ask her out if ever being too afraid to move on from Yugito, but after what she heard about his experience from Yugito made her happy and would always be grateful to her for her help and would now recognize her as the alpha in the relationship. She lunged at him with a big smile on her face as he caught her.
"Yes! Yes of course I will Naruto-kun. I've liked you since the few months you were gone and it hurt seeing you in pain, but when you told us about what Yugito said to her I was so happy." Mira thanked him, snuggling into his chest as he held her in his arms.
"Thank you Mira-chan. I won't waste this chance and I've had feelings for you for months now as well, but I'm here now and I will do what I can to make this a great experience for us." Naruto was happy that she accepted his request.
She stepped away from him putting her hands on her hips. "I do have a condition though before anything happens between us." She said looking at him who raised an eyebrow.
"What's this condition?" He asked, wondering what she's thinking.
"I'm not the only one who's developed feelings for you which I'm sure you've noticed and feel something towards her." She said getting a nod confirming her statement. "I want you to ask Levy out as well since we both have feelings for you. It wouldn't be fair to her if you only asked me out, but not her too." She said to him, who looked at her with surpris, who saw that look. "Oh don't be too surprised about the request. After some talking about it and we agreed in sharing you if things worked out between us that we would both be happy and we both get what we want. That wouldn't be too hard of a request now would it?" She asked shyly, biting her lower lip while looking at him which made things hard for him to say no and to resist since she looked absolutely adorable and quite sexy with that look.
"I was going too already. Believe it or not Yugito actually approved of the two of you after seeing how much you helped me and wanted to help me get back on my feet. She was happy that you both had come into my life." He said surprising her since it wasn't what she was expecting to hear.
"She.. She approved of us?" She asked nervously, seeing him nod she beamed in happiness. "I wish I could've met her." She said smiling.
"You and Levy-chan would've gotten along with her. She would've liked to have met you personally too." He said as he took her hand his interlocking their fingers as they walked back to where everyone else was.
Kushina was the first one to notice the duo walk back and she saw their hands and grinned at the two with a thumbs up embarrassing Naruto who blushed at her mother's antics.
"Congratulations to you two. It's about time Naru-chan that you moved on. Mira is a great girl, so don't waste this chance with her. Got it mister?" She asked sternly making him sweat a little, but nodded nonetheless. "Good. I do want grandbabies after all." She suddenly said making the two blush considerably with Minato shaking his head at his wife's antics.
"I'm happy for the two of you, I guess you'll be taking her out after we deal with Phantom Lord right?" He asked getting nods from the two when everyone noticed the two holding hands.
"When did those two get together?" One mage asked.
"I'm not sure, but he is one lucky bastard." Another said clearly jealous.
"Did Naruto ask Mira out?" Erza asked.
"I think he did Erza." Lucy said in slightly jealous.
"Wasn't he close to Levy too though? What about her?" Gray asked with Lucy being surprised.
"What do you mean?" She asked when Naruto and Mira walked to the group.
"Naruto will be taking Levy out on a date as well. He'll be dating both of us since I couldn't leave Levy alone like that and we both care for him a lot, so we agreed to share him if he ever expressed feelings for us which he did, when we were talking.: Mira told them when they all had their jaws on the ground not knowing what else to say or think except for one person.
'There might be hope for me yet. I want to know more about him though, before I try to do anything.' Lucy thought to herself looking at Naruto with a small smile, something that Kushina saw who smirked.
"Hehe. Our son sure is something." Kushina said cryptically with Minato looking at his wife confusedly.
"What are you planning dear?" He asked, but saw where she was looking which was at Lucy and saw where she was looking and smiling at making him sigh, having figured out what she's thinking.
"My wife is quite the handful, but am grateful for her desire to want the best for our son. After everything he's been through, he deserves all the happiness in the world. Lucy would be a good match for him.' He thought.
Next Day
Everyone had gathered rather excited for the plans to take down Phantom and were looking forward to taking them down. Team Shadow Gear had been released, but weren't allowed to participate since they were still recovering, but had gone to the guild to see them off and with Levy wanting to see Naruto again after she heard he was back.
"Is everyone here?" Minato asked, seeing them nod. "Good, now we can get started, everyone that knows their jobs, I want you all to get to your targets. We won't have much time once Jose hears about it, he'll be coming straight for here, so it'll be up to Natsu, Erza, Gray, Elfman, and Naruto to handle him and his Elemental Four. I'll need you five to stay here since I have a feeling he'll be coming angry and hitting us hard. Does everyone understand their roles?" He asked to see them nod again. "Good luck and I hope to see you all come back safely." He said as they all left to do their tasks leaving Minato, Kushina, Makarov, Lucy, Natsu, Erza, Elfman, Gray, Jet, Droy, Levy, Mira, and Naruto left in the guild.
Levy walks up to Naruto who smiled at her seeing her looking better made him happy. "It's good to see you're up already Levy, but are you sure you should be up and about? You were hurt pretty badly." Naruto said, worried about her making her smile warmly at him for him worrying about her.
"I'm alright Naruto-kun. I should be healed soon after all, but I'm glad to see you again. I heard you were the one who saved us from Gajeel and I wanted to thank you." She said kissing his cheek as he smiled at her, pulling her into a hug surprising her with her cheeks gaining a pink hue to them.
"It was no problem. I'm glad I got there before things could get any worse. This is actually a good thing you came over here, I wanted to ask you something." He told her as she nodded, raising her eyebrow.
"What is it Naruto-kun?" She asked.
"I was wondering after this whole ordeal with Phantom Lord if you wanted to go out on a date with me? After talking to Mira and hearing what she told me, it made me happy as I grew to care about you greatly and it would've been impossible to choose you or Mira-chan, but when she told me that you were okay with sharing me and had grown feelings for me. I felt happy about it." He told her.
She looked at him for a moment before she glomped on the blonde with a wide smile on her face. "I'd love to Naruto-kun. That's right, me and Mira did talk about it and after we confessed that we had feelings for you, we agreed that if you were to show any feelings for us, that we would share you." Levy told him who nodded at the answer.
"I'll do everything I can to make you and Mira-chan. I look forward to being here with you two as I'm going to be here more permanently now." He said smiling at him kissing his cheek again.
"I can't wait." Levy chirped happily as she hugged him one more time before she skipped to where Mira was to probably tell her the good news.
Naruto decided to go see Erza who was with Natsu, Lucy, and Gray who seemed to be talking about something and he wanted to meet the new girl too.
"Will you guys be ready for Phantom?" Naruto asked them with Erza looking serious, Natsu and Gray were grinning excited to fight them, and Lucy was nervous.
"It won't be easy since they're just as strong as we are." Erza said getting a raised eyebrow from him.
"Really? Even with my parents, you, Natsu, Gray, Mystogan, Elfman, me, and others aren't pushovers?" He asked.
"What about Master Makarov?" Lucy asked.
"Normally he would be included, but he's retired and none of us want to bring him into this." Erza said.
"That makes sense, things would have to be really bad for him to join. What about you Natsu and Gray?" He asked them still grinning.
"I'm going to kick their ass for hurting our friends!" Natsu roared fire coming out of his mouth.
"Unless of course it involves transportation then you're useless." Gray commented as Natsu got in his face.
"What did you say ice freak?!" Natsu shouted at his rival.
"I'm not repeating myself ash brain!" Gray shouted as they began a shouting match.
"They're going at it again." Lucy sighed
"That's enough you two!" Erza shouted, scaring them as they hugged each other paling in fear.
"Sorry Erza/Aye sir!" They said in unison.
Naruto held his hand out to Lucy. "It's nice to meet you. I never got your name?" Naruto asked.
"I'm Lucy. I'd like to know your name as well. I take it you aren't new since you seem to know most of the guild?" Lucy asked, shaking his hand with a smile.
"I've known them for a year. It's quite the story that I'll tell you another time. And I'm Naruto. Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze." He said whose jaw was on the ground. 'I wonder if she's Lucy Heartfilia. I've heard that she ran away from home and was a celestial wizard. I'll need to speak with her about it later.' He told himself.
"The same name as Master Minato and Lady Kushina?! Are you related to them?!" She asked, shocked with wide eyes..
"They're my parents. I've been traveling for the last year which is why you've never heard of me until I got back two nights ago when I came across Levy and the others in their state. It's a pleasure to meet you." He said when Mira screamed in excitement getting their attention.
"Yes! I knew he would agree to it! This is wonderful news!" Mira shrieked, clapping her hands together with a big smile.
"What happened over here? Is everything alright Mira, Levy?" Erza asked, wondering what was going on.
"Oh I was just congratulating Levy on getting a date with Naruto-kun. Isn't that wonderful?" Mira asked happy not seeing the looks Naruto was getting from Erza making him sweat knowing that they were getting the wrong idea.
"Oh Naruto~ I think we need to have a "chat" with you about playing with girls' hearts." Erza hissed as she grabbed his collar and dragged him away, trying to tell her that it's not what she thinks, but doesn't listen as they leave when everyone started hearing screaming in pain along with hearing not in the face and that not there please scaring the guys and making Lucy uneasy, but was curious about what Mira and Levy were talking about.
"Levy-chan, can you explain to me what's going on with you two and Naruto? It seems that something is going on, but I'd like to hear from you." Lucy said with the two nodding when they began explaining their situation with Naruto and the time that they knew him, then going to all the times they spent getting to know each other and kept in contact when he left even, than to them, and when them to getting together after telling each other how they felt. By the time they finished explaining Lucy was in awe of the story and was jealous of them getting such a guy like Naruto. He seemed like a nice guy and cared a lot about those important to him.
'Wish I could get someone like Naruto-kun. He is hot as hell and gorgeous.' She smiled, not noticing that Mira and Levy were smirking at her.
"He's a great guy and we plan to make him happy since he hasn't had the best life and want to make things better for him." Levy smiled at Naruto who had come back from getting beaten by Erza and was talking to the guys again.
"He really is a great guy and he deserves all the happiness he can get." Mira smiled sadly remembering what his life was like in the Elemental Nations.
"He seems like it and I hope I can get to know him better myself and seems like the perfect package." Lucy said dreamily with the other two giggling in amusement.
With Jose
Jose was in his office wondering where that bastard Minato is and why he hasn't retaliated yet with his guild members being attacked since attacking the guild didn't help as he found out that Gajeel was pushed back by someone who stopped Gajeel from finishing his job. He continued his grumbling when a mage rushed into this office panting.
"Master Jose! I received news! It looks like your outposts have been attacked by Fairy Tail and are getting destroyed." The mage said.
"WHAT?!" Jose shouted angrily.
"It seems they don't plan to confront you, but to take out your smaller outposts and bases. It's what we were able to discover." He said.
Jose looked ready to blow up his guild hall with how red in anger he was getting. "Gather the Elemental Four! We're heading straight for Fairy Tail and we're going to destroy them! They're dead!" Jose growled out orders as they followed his commands.
"Curse you Minato! I'll kill you for this transgression! Maybe I can get the Magic Council to disband with these attacks against us?" He asked himself. What he doesn't know is that it wouldn't work since they were given permission to go after him.
Later that Night
Everyone had gathered at Fairy Tail and they were celebrating their success in crippling Phantom Lord's guild after hitting their outposts and smaller bases with their plans. They weren't going too crazy knowing that they would be retaliation from what they did, so they were waiting for them to show up.
"Come on, I want them to show up, so I can kick their asses!" Natsu said frustrated and slightly bored.
"Oh no need to be so impatient Natsu, you'll get your chance I can promise you that." Naruto grinned evilly at him who took a step back.
That was when they heard something and the ground started shaking slightly..
"It's from outside, come on!" Naruto yelled, getting everyone's attention as they followed him with
They raced up the stairs and came face to face with Phantom Lord's Headquarters. Naruto's eyes widened as he whistled in admiration. "Wow, now that's something you don't see every day!" As the mobile building stopped, a crackle was heard before Jose's amplified voice thundered out of several speakers on the golem before them.
"You... this is your fault isn't it? Naruto grinned as he slid his finger over a seal located on his neck, causing any words he spoke to be greatly amplified.
"Oh hey, it's Jose Porla! Glad you could join the party! We were beginning to think you wouldn't show up!" Naruto grinned as his amplified voice repeated the same message, a low growl coming from the Phantom Headquarters speakers.
"You bastard... you're the reason my guilds are being destroyed and yet you have the gall to mock me! I should have killed you when I first met you! Hand over Lucy Heartfilia and I'll only kill you, the rest of your pathetic guild can live!" Naruto laughed loudly, the shinobi walking towards the edge of the cliff separating the guild from the lake that Phantom's Golem was standing in.
"Yeah, I'm gonna have to pass on that. So, are you going to just stand there all day threatening me, or are you going to do something about it?" A furious growl was Jose's answer as a piece of the mobile building fell away, revealing a large barrel that began extending from the building.
"What?! Hell no! We're not giving our comrade to you bastard!" Natsu shouted in determination.
"I was wondering why you decided to attack us now and had a feeling as to what it was, you were after the request her father gave you isn't that right Jose?!" He questioned/snarled at the excuse of a man.
"That's not all! I plan to use her to bleed the Heartfilia family dry of its wealth and will all belong to Phantom Lord!" He ginned madly not that anyone could see it.
"Yeah, well go to hell! We don't leave our friends behind!" Naruto shouted.
"You'll have to kill us if you want to get to her!" Erza shouted.
Soon after many other shouts could be heard coming from the other members making Lucy emotional and looking at everyone with a smile on her face. "Everyone." She said to herself.
"Enough! If you won't hand her over then I'll just destroy you all and have a taste of JUPITER CANON!" Jose said with his voice still being amplified.
"Kill them!" Jose commanded. "Yes sir!" His followers answered.
Erza turned around, looking at her guild with frightened eyes. "EVERYONE GET DOWN!" Erza shouted.
But instead of listening to Erza, Naruto ran over to the water. "Naruto-kun what do you think you're doing!? Get away from there!" Erza shouted.
The Jupiter cannon began to form a large cannon ball, one big enough to wipe the whole area.
Erza ran up to Naruto, running up to Naruto and stopped just beside him before starting again and making her way in front of him, intending on stopping the cannon herself. But Naruto held out an arm, stopping her. "Erza!" Mira and Lisanna shouted.
Naruto looked at the Scarlet haired woman. "Leave this to me...Erza-chan." Naruto said, looking at her with his activated eyes.
"WHAT!?" Erza shouted.
"Naruto what are you thinking!" Macao shouted.
"Yeah, I'm sorry but not even you can stop that!" Mira said in agreement as she approached the group, standing next to Naruto.
"You can't do this! You don't have to! Please, just think about yourself this time!" Erza shouted desperately, nearly tearing up. Naruto noticed, torn apart by those words.
Naruto turned around and put his hands on her shoulders, Erza's widened as Naruto gently lay his forehead on top of Erza's, looking at her with the most warm expression. He gave her a gentle smile..
Mira was shocked, ready about to tear up, but Naruto released Erza and turned his back towards her. "Please, don't do this!" Mira begged.
"We have no time left, now back up." Naruto said, ignoring her cries.
Erza reluctantly stepped back.
"Naruto!" Natsu shouted, attempting to rush up to his whiskered friend, but he was held back by his rival Gray. "Stop Natsu!" Erza said sternly.
"But! Naruto might die!" Natsu snapped.
"Stop, we just gotta have faith in him!" Gray said.
Lucy just stared in shock. "Naruto-kun!"
The Jupiter cannon finally blasted its attack, heading straight for the guild.
Naruto only just stood there, unfazed. Confident that his powers won't fail him.
Erza and the rest stared in fear, anxiety, and horror. 'Why!? Why are you risking your life!? After how you were treated by the guild, you're doing everything you can to protect us!?' Erza thought with many emotions running through her.
Before Naruto used the jutsu, he turned around to give Erza the most kind, most warm, friendly smile. This tore Erza's heart apart, 'How can you be smiling at a time like!' She thought not expecting that since they didn't know each other that well.
Finally Naruto yelled. "KAMUI!" As soon as the blast was about to hit its target, it began to get sucked into a vortex until it disappeared completely.
He panted lightly as his eye started bleeding from the use as Mira, Erza, Natsu, and Gray approached him with concern and awe at what he just did.
"How'd you do that?! That was awesome!" Natsu said.
"That was incredible Naruto-kun!" Mira chirped, but gasped when she saw his eye was bleeding. "Your eye, it's bleeding." Mira worried when the others saw what she was talking about.
"It's nothing Mira-chan. It happens when I use any techniques when it's the Sharingan. It causes the eyes to bleed, it's normal for me." He reassured them making them sigh in relief.
"And that technique, I didn't recognize it at all." Erza said.
"I'll explain later. Right now we got a cannon to destroy and a guild to beat." He said getting nods from them.
"How exactly are we going to destroy the cannon though?" Gray asked, having no ideas about how to deal with that.
"I may have an idea." Naruto smirked when he channeled Kurama's chakra with his body glowing yellow with black patterns appearing on his stomach with a haori appearing and with a giant golden fox beginning to form, shocking everyone including his parents having never seen anything like it before.
The fox was taller than their guild hall and was still forming. By the time it was finished they could see Naruto at the top where it's head was inside it somehow being bigger than the town itself. He held his hands out as black and red energy started forming with his parents recognizing it.
"EVERYONE GET BACK!" Minato shouted, alerting everyone, and followed his instruction.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!" Macao asked out loud.
"Holy…" Cana started her eyes widening in disbelief.
"Naruto-kun." Mira and Levy whispered to themselves in awe of the fox.
Naruto finished forming the energy into a ball before he did what surprised everyone again.
"Tailed Beast Bomb!" He fired it at the cannon creating an explosion once it made contact. When the lights died down everyone could see the cannon destroyed completely making their jaws drop to the ground with Kushina with a large grin on her face, proud of her son.
"THAT'S MY SOCHI!" Kushina hollered out screaming in pride.
"That showed them." Wakaba said.
"How the hell did he do that?!" Lucy screamed out in
"Way to go Naruto!" Natsu shouted with a grin!
"Was that Kurama?" Mira asked in awe with a blush seeing his power had her demons yelling at her to take him.
He turned around letting his cloak disappear and looked normal again as he smirked at his handy work.
"Let's go! Natsu, Gray, Erza, Elfman with me! I'm going after Jose." Naruto called out as he created a giant sand pad and had everyone except for Natsu who had Happy taking him there as he carried the others to Phantom's.
