Tristan (P.O.V)
It's been a long week with Bella constantly hovering over me, trying to get information on when Edward is going to come back. I've been hiding my frustration with her from dad because I can see how happy he is to have her back.
Passing by her room the other day I overheard a conversation with our mother, never once did she asked about me, but Bella did mention about my relationship with Emmett when Renee asked her, if any boys got her attention.
I sighed once I finished my makeup. I was ready to get the day over with. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm not a morning person and can barely function without a cup of coffee.
Fortunately I have an amazing mate who without fail goes every morning to get me a cup of coffee and a pastry from my favorite café. I grabbed my phone, bag and one of Emmett hoodies.
I walked out of the bedroom, closing the door behind me with my key. I didn't trust Bella within proximity of our bedroom. I walked down the stairs to see her putting on her jacket.
We barely said anything to each other, unless it was necessary or just to mess with her. Bella open the door with me following behind her I locked up the house.
As I turned to walk down the stairs, I had to bite my lip as Bella once again lost her balance."Ice doesn't help the uncoordinated". Bella said as Dad helped her up.
"Yeah that's why I've had new tires put on the truck". Dad said as he lightly kicked her tire."I'm probably going to be late for dinner I have to head down to Mason County. Security at the local mill got killed by some kind of animal". Dad said which make me stiff in a little bit.
"An animal?". Bella and I asked confused.
"Your not in Phoenix anymore bells,
I thought I'll just lend a hand Tris". Dad said walking over towards his cruiser.
"Be careful dad". I said worriedly with the sudden animal attacks and with what I know it could be vampires doing it.
"Always am princess". Dad said opening his car door.
"Thanks for the tires". Bella said awkwardly.
"Yea". Dad said equally awkwardly. I rolled my eyes as Bella got into her truck and Emmett honked his horn as he pulled up on the curve.
I didn't know why I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was going to happen today. All I wanted to do was get the day over with and have some quality time with my bear size mate.
Throughout the school day, I observe Bella and Edward. I could see his body stiffen with her around as he looked like he was trying to hold his breath. The way Jasper does around people.
Which from what I understand, living in a house full of vampires isn't easy for him. With his ability his emotions are heightened sevenfold. I was startled as the bell rang for the end of the day, which caused me to immediately pack my stuff away.
I was the first out of the door, hurrying down the hallway, not bothering to stop at my locker as I did it before my last class.
Suddenly without warning, a squeal left my throat as I was lifted off the floor completely. "What the hell Em!!!". I said as I already know who it was as my body always vibrated at his touch.
"Where were you off to in such a hurry, sweetheart,". Emmett asked chuckling.
"Home, now put me down". I said, huffing lightly patting his hand. Emmett set me down, I turned around towards him. My gray eyes looking into his golden ones. "Scare me like that one more time you won't get anywhere near your favorite place until next week". I said sweetly before turning around and walking away, smirking as I heard him Emmett growl.
"I'm sorry sweetheart". I heard Emmett call out from behind me. I hear his footsteps as he followed me. I now knew what Rose and Alice meant about the power of withholding sex would do.
I didn't bother hiding my smile as I opened the school door only to stop in my tracks. Tired screeching as the van suddenly lost control, my sight following it as it headed towards Bella. I blink a few times as everyone rushed towards the accident, only from my eyes to see Edward hopping over the van and Bella looking around.
"Well fuck". I curse as my attention went towards the others to see them getting in their cars. Emmett was still at my side.
"Your a real moron Edward". I said crossing my arms as Emmett followed behind me. Edward stood with Carlisle and Rosalie.
"Once again I couldn't just let her die". Edward said stiffly as I rolled my eyes at him.
"Fine whatever, Edward I am warning you from now on watch yourself around her. One thing I know about my sister is that she gets to curious for her own good". I said before catching a glimpse of Bella, which I immediately turned around walking away with Emmett.
"Do you think she will suspect anything?". Emmett asked worriedly.
I sighed as I glanced over to my mate. "Unfortunately Em your brother is a moron, Bella will know sometime within the week and from what I see Edward is becoming more infatuated with her even though I don't understand why she is so plain unlike me". I said as I flipped my hair over my shorts to giving him a week.
"Your one of kind and mine sweetheart". Emmett said grabbing my hand spinning me into an embrace.
"All yours". I said as I ran my hand across his abdomen. Looking into his eyes, I could see them darkening which made me flutter my eyelashes at him, my hand lightly dropping towards his member.
Before I knew it I was picked up, slung over Em shoulder him jogging out of the building.
