Disclaimer: I own neither Bleach nor RWBY.

Let's get this started.

The last few months of Weiss Schnee's life had been… sucky, to say the least. First, Beacon had been ravaged, then she had been called home to Atlas by her father, locked in her room, and then forced to sing at a "charity" event for Atlas. Then, she had exploded at a random guy, just because he had been there only for the snacks. Her father then proceeded to grab her by the wrist and when she pulled back, she fell, and accidently activated a summoning rune.

The thing that exited the rune did NOT make her life ANY better.

It was tall and gaunt, at least 7 feet tall, with a skull like head and protruding horns. It had long black hair down its back, and was pale, paler than her, white as bone. It had… tattoos? As well, and a long black half of a robe, worn ragged by time, only on its waist down, which did nothing to hide the hole going straight through its chest. Across its chest was also a long, ugly gash that was bleeding profusely. It looked down at her, and she saw, in its eyes, nothing. She saw a void staring back at her, before it turned back to the crowd.

A shot rang out, and the creature instantly reeled back…

…Before leaning back up, the bullet clutched in its teeth, and spitting it out. Then, it spoke.

"Is that REALLY how you greet new guests?"

The effect was instant. Everyone immediately took a step back as it stepped forward… only to fall flat on its face, likely due to the wound on its chest. A glyph appeared under it, and it disappeared into it. Weiss breathed a sigh of relief, before her father started questioning her, and General Ironwood left the party in a huff. The party continued, however, the event forgotten.

However, Weiss couldn't help but wonder:

"What WAS that?"

Sometime after the event, and Weiss is sitting in her room, still wondering what that thing she summoned was, and HOW she summoned it. So, she went through her though process, and attempted to summon it again. The glyph formed, spinning slowly, before rapidly accelerating, before it was just a bunch of interlocking circles. Then, that thing appeared, rising from the glyph. Its injuries seemed to be gone, and Weiss instantly felt a small weight settle on her shoulders, like a blanket, but not at all warm nor comforting. The creature turned towards her, and her breath caught. Instead of eyes, two black voids stared back at her. Then, its mouth opened and it spoke.

"Where…? I thought I was just at a ball thing? And who the hell are you?"

Weiss stared up at it in amazement, before finally finding her voice and speaking.

"Ahem. I-I'm Weiss Schnee. I summoned you. Which means you obey me, yes?"

The Creature simply stared at her, slowly making her more and more uncomfortable, before it spoke again.

"No HUMAN will command me, least of all a creature like YOU." It snarled, absolute venom dripping from the word "human". Weiss, for her part, was not cowed, as he believed any normal being would be, and instead set a determined look upon her face.

"You will serve me. Not a question. You WILL."

The Vasto Lorde stood there, before snarling again, and lunging at her. She leapt back, before shouting a command.

"Stop!"

Instantly, the Vasto Lorde's muscles seized, and he found he couldn't move. So, of course, he growled at the girl.

"What is the meaning of this? What is this Kido? Without any chant, either? No un-chanted Kido can hold ME! Who are you, girl?"

"As I stated before, I am Weiss Schnee. And you are my summon, however strange of a summon you may be."
"YOUR summon?! I was sent here when a Garganta got hit by a damn blast of stupidly concentrated Reiatsu! Not some damn SUMMONING CIRCLE NONSENSE!" He all but screeched at her. He continued his struggle to move as the girl looked at him with confusion in her eyes.

"Do you not know what Reiatsu is? Garganta? Nothing? How can you be so INSOLENT! What are you even using to bind me, you miserable girl?"

"Simple. You are my summon, and thus I can command you to do… whatever I want. And also, could you educate me on what this "Reiatsu" is?"

"Reiatsu is spiritual energy, girl. And before you ask, a Garganta is a gateway, used by Hollows to traverse plains of existence. And again, before you begin prattling on some more, a Hollow is a dead human's soul, who has been left alone for too long to wallow in pity, anger, or hatred. They turn into Hollows, of which here are numerous classes. I, of course, am the HIGHEST class of Hollow, a Vasto Lorde. I stand atop all of Heaven and Hell!"

"Hmm… Interesting… so this Reiatsu is essentially Aura?"

"Huh? The hell is 'Aura'?"

"This is Aura." Weiss said, before channeling her Aura, making a small, white and transparent barrier around herself. The Vasto Lorde, to his credit, merely cocked his head.

"Ah… a different way of channeling Reiatsu, but a way nonetheless. However, that means that you can never learn any outbound uses, such as Hado, Kido, or Kaido."

"Well… I haven't a clue what those are, however, I do know that sufficiently advanced Aura user can manifest a semblance, which is an ability unique to the individual, unless, like me, it's hereditary. My Semblance is Glyphs, and, in my opinion, one of the most versatile ones."

"Hmm… Interesting. Slightly like a Shinigami's Zanpaku-to, eh?" At the confused look the girl was giving him, he merely sighed and began explaining the Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, and the Living World, while she sat and listened in amazement, unbelieving so much could exist outside of Remnant. Then, he moved onto Kido.

"Kido is simple, yet complicated. Its spells, put simply, categorized into three forms, Bakudo, Hado, and Kaido, each numbered 1 through 99, each subsequent number being more powerful than the one before it. Bakudo are binding spells, Hado are offensive spells, and Kaido are healing or protecting spells. Most beings with Reiatsu can be taught them, however, it is clear to me that you cannot learn them."

"What?! Why not?!"

"Simple. Your "Aura", as you put it, is bound to you, and your Semblance is as well. Your Semblance is the only outbound form of Reiatsu your form of Reiatsu can muster. The rest is bound unto you, in a way that cannot be undone. Continuing onwards, Every Kido has a name, number, and chant. The higher the number, the more powerful. The chant adds power to the spell, put simply. Every Kido has a different chant, and using the wrong chant with a Kido can lead to it either literally or figuratively blowing up in your face. A downside, however, is the fact that the higher the number, the longer the chant, and the more Reiatsu it draws on. If you use too powerful a Kido, you can end up draining all your Reiatsu and killing yourself."

"Just like Aura and Semblances?"

"From what I've heard and seen from you, yes. Anyways, conti-" He was interrupted by a knock at the door.

"Quick, hide!"

"What, wh-" Despite his question as to why, his body moved of its own accord, into her closet, before shutting the door. Outside, he heard a muffled conversation, and when the door finally slammed shut, he stepped out from his hiding place.

"Something wrong?"

"Yes… my… father disinherited me. I'm no longer the heiress to the SDC."

"Meh. You're fine. Hey, what do you say, how bout we blow this popsicle stand, so to speak?"

"P-pardon?"

"Let's LEAVE. Clearly you don't feel like being here, and, to be frank, neither do I. Too much… pomp. I can easily get us out with a simple Sonido. Then, we can get on one of them Bullhead thingamajigs you told me 'bout and go to wherever ya want. Sound alright?"

"I… Yes. That sounds good. But… I can't have you just trailing me looking like you crawled out of a trash bin shirtless."

"Hey!"

"So, I'll grab you something from my father's closet to wear. Wait here."

"Oh bloody godamned it all to hell. Don't. There's no need. I have clothes I stored in a Garganta a while ago."

He then proceeds to open up a Garganta, however, it's much… smaller, than average. It's only about 5 inches in diameter, just enough for him to grab a Shihakushō that he had stolen from a Soul Reaper's corpse a while back. It swiftly puts it on over his glorified loincloth, before, to Weiss's shock, pulling off his skull. Well… not really. All he did was pull off his hollow mask, revealing the face of a young man with black sclera and white irises, as well as bleached white skin and long black hair that was spiky up top and straight down his back. He dissipates his helmet, before looking back at a still shocked Weiss.

"What?"

"You just… took off… your… Hollow mask…"

"Yeah? Vasto Lorde can do that. Arrancar just get a chunk grafted to their skull, while Vasto Lorde can straight up remove the mask. No normal Vasto Lorde does it, though, as without the mask, we can't perform Cero's or release our blades. But for our purposes, I guess this would work pretty well. Yeah?"

"Yes… I suppose this works."

They left the room, creeping down the hallway, keeping out of sight of any staff. Then, they met with Klein, who Weiss had previously arranged this with, before she had summoned the Vasto Lorde. He gave the Lorde a few strange looks, before wishing them luck and ushering them out of the house. They swiftly began walking down to the Bullhead docks, when the Vasto Lorde felt a stone collide with the back of his skull. Luckily, his Hierro prevented it from doing any meaningful damage. Still, it pissed him off, so he turned to see someone with another stone in their hand, with an angry look on their face.

"Damn dirty Faunus! Bet you're kidnappin' the Schnee for your own ends, eh? I'm onto ya!" With that, he threw the other stone, which was deftly caught and the crushed into dust.

"Oh? Is that so? I have a proposition for you, then. Throw another rock, and I'll throw one too. Sound good?"

"Shut it, ya dirty animal! Go back to yer' hovel! Where you belong!" and then he threw another rock, which was also caught. The Vasto Lorde smiled, a sick, twisted grin of amusement. Weiss looked between him and the angry man, before coming to a dark conclusion.

"Wai-!"

Before she finished, the rock was in motion, speeding towards the man's stomach at an obscene speed, which was slightly curbed when Weiss used her glyphs to slow it. However, it still impacted the man hard enough to send him sprawling on the ground with the breath knocked out of him. The Vasto Lorde then turned to her, looking annoyed.

"Why'd you do that? I was just going to send a rock through his spine, no big deal."

"No big deal!? You could've KILLED him!"

"So?"

"SO that's a CRIME here, you can't DO THAT. Y'know what? New rule for you. No Killing, under ANY circumstances. Got it?"

"Don't have much of a choice, considering you phrased that as an order, but fine. No more killing. Now let's get going. It's cold out here."

"Good."

With that settled, they resumed their walk to the bullheads, hoping that they could get to Mistral without any more incident.

Hoo boy, they were in for a big surprise.

Well, that's finally done. Longest chapter I've EVER written, and it doesn't even crack 2k words. Funny. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed, and more will be coming soon, to all my stories.

Also, big thanks to Limbo999 for being my pre-reader.
