Chapter 2

Nate sighed as he made his way to Shepard's office with his lab coat still on along with a pair of bulky goggles resting around his neck.

"Calling me in the middle of the night for an emergency meeting, is he fucking serious?" Nate grumbled while looking over a Data Pad in his hands, still working while walking through the large building. "Damn, Shepard..."

After entering an elevator and taking it up to the highest floor.

"SAM, run another simulation with the reactor with its size increased by 24.5%," Nate said while typing on the Data Pad. "And be sure to set up my workshop, I need to work on the shields to make them take more damage before they drop."

"Right away sir," The AI said in Nate's ear as the elevator stopped and slipped open to Shepard's office.

"Alright Shepard, you better have a good reason... to call me... in the middle of the... night..."

Nate trailed off slowly as he noticed Shepard wasn't alone in his office, there were two others in the room with them.

The first was a tall man to look like he was in his mid-30s. His hair was a mix of blond and black along with a black goatee, and his eyes a reddish violet that staired Nate's own eyes. This was none other than Azazel, one of the leaders of the Fallen Angel Faction. The great Fallen Angel was giving Nate a wide grin, looking excited.

The second person Nate saw he didn't recognize at all. He was a young man, possibly 16 or 17, with dark silver hair and light blue eyes to go with his pale skin. The young man looked at Nate with disinterest before looking out the large window.

"Okay, you've got my attention," Nate said as he put the pad into his lab coat. "So mind telling me why the Fallen Angel's head honcho is here? If he wanted us to do a job he could have sent a go-between." Nate said while narrowing his eyes at the Fallen Angel while walking into the room. "This begs why such an important man is here in person."

Azazel gave a playful smile as he walked up to Nathan, and the young teen didn't flinch for a second in the presence of the powerful being before him.

"Well, I wanted to meet the brains behind The Alliance, after all, if it weren't for you this rag-tag group would have never got off the ground," Azazel said before his eyes lit up. "I also want to take a look at some of the toys you've made, I'm a bit of an inventor myself."

Nate felt a small grin grow on his face at that. "While that does sound very tempting, I'm afraid to tell you I work solo. I rarely work on my main projects with anyone."

"It's true," Shepard said with a small laugh. "Nate has a whole team of scientists on hand and he uses them for grunt work or other projects, never his main list."

"What can I say, I'm a stingy bitch." Nate said, getting a laugh from Azazel. "So, I think we should get down to why you are here, and why I was brought it."

"Why isn't it obvious Mr. Helwing?" Azazel said with his grin widening. "I have a job, and I plan for you and only you to complete it!"

Present

"Yeah, complete the job my ass..." Nate grumbled as he sat in front of his massive computer with more and more dates flashing across the screen.

Nathan Helwing had been in Japan for over a month, and his job was nowhere completed. Nate's drones have constantly watched over the city looking for his targets and found nothing.

"Come on, old Azazel said they are here, yet we have found nothing to say otherwise."

"The targets must be concealing their powers so as not to attract the attention of the Devils, after all this is their territory."

"Oh great, Fallen Angels playing smart." Nate groaned into his hands.

*Beep*Beep*Beep*

"And it's time for school, fantastic." Nate now felt like crying. He pulled an all-nighter working on his inventions and looking for his targets, and now he wanted to sleep.

"A Bento is waiting for you on the counter along with a thermos of coffee."

"You are a god-sent SAM." Nate sighed as he made his way up to take a quick show, a quick bite, and leave as fast as possible.

"You are the one who made me Sir, so if anyone sent me it was you."

"Smart ass," Nate snorted as he ran up to take a quick shower. A cold one to wake up his tired self.

After finishing his shower, getting dressed, eating a hot Pop-Tart, and burning the roof of his mouth, Nate snatched up his bag and Bento before making his way to his garage.

Once inside Nate saw a single machine inside the garage, a motorcycle.

It was a custom-made FA-13 Combat Bomber Nate had built from the ground up. The bike was mostly black with a dark blue seat and a silver engine.

Grabbing a helmet hanging on the wall Nate hopped on his bike just as the garage opened before he zoomed off. It took 10 minutes for Nate to make it to school, just as everyone else was getting in as well.

As Nate drove up and parked his bike in the school parking lot, he got permission from Sona to do so, a majority of the students were pointing and whispering behind his back, making the inventor sigh.

For some reason or another, this school had a thing for giving people titles. After only a week into the school, the majority started calling Nate The Foreign Prince as his Amarien tendency seemed to attract the attention of the other students. He didn't do anything amazing but look into girls' eyes when they talk to him and help out a few people when they looked like they needed help and didn't ask for a date every single time he saw a girl. That kind of treatment was very rare in this school.

"H-Hello Helwing-San!" A group of girls called out before giggling and walking into the school.

"Well, it's not all bad," Nate said with an easy smile as he waved at the girls, who blushed red and giggled, before walking faster.

"Damn it, pretty boy!"

"They should all die!"

Nate couldn't help but snort at some of the angry retorts from the male students as he passed by, said students glaring at him and a certain blond boy. There was only one other male in the entire school who had a title of his own, and that was Yuuto Kiba, the so-called Knight Prince of Kouh Academy or Prince Charming. He was the typical pretty boy blond guy that was loved by all the girls and hated by all the guys. Nate had bumped into him once and he did give off the air of a chivalrous knight, though Nate felt something was off with the consent care-free smile on his face.

"Still popular as always, Mr. Foreign Prince."

Nate snorted as he turned to see Aika walk up right next to him without a care in the world.

"You know I hate that fucking name Aika," Nate said while shaking his head as the two walked to class.

Nate and Aika had become good friends in the past month since Nate started going to school at Kouh Academy. Aika was the kind of girl who said exactly what was on her mind and didn't care what anyone thinks, it also helped that the girl was crazy smart and could keep up with Nate when he was writing up a new gadget. Though to her Nate's gadgets seemed like something that would only be seen in a Manga.

"And that's why I keep bringing it up," Aika said with a cheeky smile. "Hey, want to hear the latest gossip I just picked up?" She said with a wicked smile.

"No." Nate deadpanned to the brunette, knowing she was going to tell him anyway.

"Well, I heard that one of the Perverted Trio managed to get himself a girlfriend," Aika said in a cheeky tone, and Nate couldn't help but feel his eyes widen. "I overheard Issei bragging about it to his friends, and from the other two's reaction, she's real and not a body pillow."

"Damn, so the pervert found his mate, and it's not his hand or a piece of rubber." Nate couldn't help but say with a small laugh. In the past month, Nate had seen the Perverted Trio get their ass handed to them over a hundred times by various girls in the school for peaking, checking them out, taking pictures, or anything else perverted. While Nate thought the whole thing was stupid he couldn't help but admire them for their determination, if only a bit. Now one of them has a girlfriend. "10 bucks says the girl Issei's with is a freak in bed."

"That's a suckers bet," Aika said with a laugh as they entered the class. "Girls are just as perverted as guys, we just hide it better."

"Except for a special snowflake like you."

"You know me so well."

With that, the two sat down at their desk and waited for class to start.

"Another day, but the same shit," Nate said while stretching his arms.

"What are you complaining about?" Aika asked while putting her books into her bag. "You just write constantly in that notebook of yours and ignore the teacher until they call you out, you barely do anything."

Foreign Prince wasn't the only nickname Nathan had gained in the school. A lot of people, mostly the guys, had taken to calling Nate the Lazy Prodigy.

In every class Nate sat in he was constantly writing in his notebook or sleeping, looking to ignore the class entirely. One teacher had seen this and had taken Nathan's notebook, much to the American's annoyance. The teacher then wrote an extremely hard math problem on the board and ordered Nate to solve the problem, or get back in his seat and pay attention.

The teacher had been trying to humiliate Nate into paying attention in class and didn't think the exchange student could come up with an answer if he wasn't paying attention in class.

So it shocked everyone in the room when Nate not only went up to the board but proceeded to solve the problem, showing his work and explaining in great length every step he took, his voice clear and loud for everyone in the class to hear. Nate's explanation of the hard problem was so detailed and clear most of the class started to take notes as if he was the teacher. By the time Nate finished solving the problem class had ended, with everyone looking at Nate with shock and awe as the foreign student took back his notebook and made his way to the next class, leaving the teacher with his jaw hanging.

Since then most teachers have ignored Nate. As long as he aced the test and got good grades the teachers wouldn't care if he wasn't paying attention. Though most still looked annoyed by this.

"True," Nate said to Aika as he grinned. "But I rather work on my computer than in a notebook, at least with a computer I can run simulations," Nate said, making Aika roll her eyes.

"You seriously need a hobby," Aika said while shaking her head.

"Working on inventions is my hobby," Nate said as he pulled out his notebook and showed a page with a mechanical arm and legs. "Look at this, with these I can give people the ability to walk again. How can you tell me this isn't cool?"

"It's cool if you can make that stuff a reality," Aika said as she pushed the notebook down. "I think you have a few years off until you can make even a page of that book become a reality."

"Maybe," Nate said as he put his book away with a shrug. "But the more I work on it the sooner it can happen." He said before the two started to walk.

"Excuse me, Helwing-San."

Nate and Aika turned to see Tsubaki standing not too far away.

"Sona-Sama wishes to see you."

"Oh~ You're in trouble~" Aika sang making Nate wince.

"Am I in trouble?" Nate asked while rubbing the back of his head. He made sure to be on his best behavior, so this was a bit of a surprise. "Unless this is..." Nate thought while narrowing his eyes.

"To my knowledge, you are not in trouble," Tsubaki said in a flat tone. "Now please follow me." She said as she turned around and started to walk away.

Nate quickly followed while waving back to Aika, who waved back with a grin.

"See you tomorrow, try to come back in one piece," Aika said in a cheeky tone, making Nate roll his eyes.

Nate followed Tsubaki through the school until she came to a stop at a door and opened it for the teen. Stepping into the room Nate saw Sona sitting at a large desk in an office, her office.

The young inventor entered the room while looking around. "Okay, even I know this isn't normal," Nate said while looking around before looking to Sona, who was sipping a cup of tea with a chessboard in front of her. "How can a Student President get her own office?"

Sona continued to sip her tea before gently placing it down, Tsubaki moving to her side. "The Student Council has a lot of responsibilities, and with those responsibilities comes certain benefits." She said in a calm tone before gesturing to the chair in front of her. "Please, have a seat."

Nate shrugged and did as Sona said, sitting across from her while putting his bag on the floor.

"So, mind telling me why I was called in?" Nate asked with a raised brow while looking at the chessboard.

Sona gently placed her tea off to the side before giving Nathan her full attention. "Are you familiar with the game of chess?"

Nate looked up with a blink from the board and looked at Sona. "I mean I'm no slouch, but it's been a while," Nate said while rubbing the back of his head.

"Then would you care for a game," Sona said as she put her elbows on her desk and looked at Nate with a cool smile. "I promise to go easy on you."

"Why does it feel like her 'easy' will still result in me getting my ass kicked." Nate thought with a sweatdrop before he sighed. "I got some time to kill, I guess."

"Then please go first," Sora said as she spun the board around to give Nate the white pieces while Sona took the black.

Nate looked at the board for a moment before grabbing a pawn and moving it two spaces forward.

"A bit aggressive, but he has a plan in mind." Sona that as she moved her pawn forward.

The game continued for the next half an hour, with Nate finding himself on the losing end, much to his shock.

"Okay, I know it's been a while since I played chess, but I didn't think I would lose this badly." Nate thought as he stared down at the bored. "She already has three of my pawns, a rook, and my bishop. I just have two of her pawns and a knight."

"So I heard you've been ignoring your classes for the most part," Sona said as she moved her rook to take a pawn, making Nate wince. "Care to explain."

"I already know most of the stuff that is taught in school," Nate said with a shrug as he moved his pawn. "Why play as a good student when I ace tests easily, there's just no point in paying attention in class if I'm not going to learn anything."

"I see..." Sona trailed off as she moved her bishop. "He's overconfident, yet from the teachers' reports, it seems he can back up his words. He might not come from a strong family or have a Sacred Gear, but he is fiercely intelligent, to the point he has me on guard." Sona thought as she took Nate's knight, making Nate click his teeth as he took her rook. "If he could translate that intelligence into magic, he could be an excellent addition to my Peerage."

"What is your goal in life, Helwing-San?" Sona asked with a small smile.

"Please, call me Nate," Nathan said on reflex as he moved his bishop next to a pawn. "My current goal is to graduate from here in the next few years, then continue my career in inventing. I got several ideas I want to make a reality and what I need is time, not schooling."

Sona hummed softly at that, yet Tsubaki could see a glint in her eyes.

"And... what would you say if I could give you that? Check." Sona said as she put Nate's King in check. "What if I could give you all the time and power you could want? All you would have to do is give me something in return."

Nate was reaching for his next move before he froze at Sona's words, his hair shadowing his eyes.

"I... I knew this would happen eventually..." Nate sighed, making Sona and Tsubaki's eyes widen.

"Does he know I'm a Devil?" Sona thought before a serious look crossed her face. "Have you now?"

"You're not the first to make such an offer to me, others have made the same back home." Nate sighed while rubbing his face.

"So other Devils have approached Nathan in the past. Yet he refused but they didn't wipe his memory?" Sona thought with some confusion, it was standard for Devils to wipe humans' minds if they found out about the supernatural. "Also, most Devils wouldn't take no for an answer and would have attacked, so how could he have gotten out unharmed?" Sona glanced at her Queen who kept a calm look on her face, yet Sona could tell she was also interested.

"So I'm going to tell you what I told them..." Nathan said while taking a deep breath, looking Sona in the eyes. The young Devil King couldn't help but stiffen up ever so slightly, Nathan had a strong conviction in his eyes, something she had never seen in another human, much less someone who was the same age as her.

"I am very flattered by your proposal, but I am not interested in an arranged marriage!"

"..."

"..."

"...What?"

"You're not the first to come to me looking for an arranged marriage," Nate sighed while rubbing his face, an annoyed look on it. "Dozens of families came to Shepard, my guardian, and offered arranged marriages to their daughters. Luckily, Shepard is a decent guy and gave me the right to choose who I can marry, so families started to approach me... which I hate since every month I get about 20 different marriage requests." Nate groaned while shaking his head, he then looked to Sona whose eyes were still wide. "So, while I do think you are a smart and beautiful girl I would not mind taking you on a date, marriage, or even arranged marriage is not in the cards for me any time soon. I am sorry." Nathan finished while giving Sona a small bow.

"..."

"..."

"...I wasn't suggesting an arranged marriage." Sona deadpanned while her cheeks turned a very faint pink after being caught off guard by the sudden question, something Tsubaki noticed but didn't say for obvious reasons.

"...Eh...?" Nathan looked to Sona with a shocked look as his cheeks turned a little red. "B-But you said you would give me all the time and power I could want? Wasn't that an offer for more free time in school and political power?" Nate stammered out while looking at Sona with wide eyes.

"...I was just asking a question to see what kind of player you were," Sona said while pointing to the chessboard. "As insight."

"I... I see..." Nate said slowly before he sank low in his seat. He then reached over and knocked his King over. "If it's okay with you, I'm going to die right now, let the vultures eat my corpse." The inventor said while covering his eyes while his face turned pink.

Both Sona and Tsubaki couldn't help but gain amused smiles on their faces. While the conversation didn't go the way Sona wanted she still find it slightly amusing.

"You may go if you wish, and I will not hold this against you based on your past experiences," Sona said in an even tone, but amusement was in her eyes.

"Th-Thanks..." Nate said while standing up and grabbing his bag. He started to make his way out before looking at Sona with a sheepish expression. "So~ If I were to ask you on a date now-"

"I am sorry, but I am focusing on school at the moment, not a relationship," Sona said in a cold tone, but amusement was still in her eyes.

"Right," Nate sighed as he gave a nervous laugh and quickly exited the room.

Once Nathan had left the office Sona couldn't help but let out a small sigh.

"Well, that didn't go as planned," Sona said with a small sigh. "He completely blindsided me with that."

"It was rather unexpected," Tsubaki said with a small tilt of her head. "Do you still plan for him to join your peerage?"

"Yes," Sora said simply while looking at the chessboard. While Sora knew she would have won in three moves, Nathan had made Sora take the game seriously, something she hadn't done in a while. "His intelligence is no joke, should he translate that into magic power he could become formidable. Also, that book of his," Sora said as she crossed her hands and leaned forward. "A few teachers have reported looking into the book to see what Helwing-San was writing, and they could barely understand the first few pages. As you know, all the teachers here have collage level intelligence and some were even top professors at top universities, yet a second-year student's work had them baffled." Sora said as a smile crossed her face. "I find that interesting." The Devil King said while getting a small nod from her Queen. "He doesn't seem to have any particularly strong magic, so making him a bishop is out of the question. His potential most likely will be that of a pawn, but a strong one at that. Be sure to keep an eye on him Tsubaki."

"It will be done, Ms. President," Tsubaki said with a small bow.

"Damn... dodged a serious bullet there." Nate sighed as he drove his motorcycle down a dead street. "I did not expect them to approach me so soon."

"Sona Sitri is a Devil who favors intelligence and skill over raw power and talent overall. Naturally, she would be interested in turning you into a servant."

Nate was currently ridding around Kuoh on his motorcycle, after leaving Sona Sitri Nathan needed some fresh air so he hopped on his bike and drove around for a few hours, keeping an eye out for his targets. The sun was already setting turning the sky a light orange.

"While I don't mind girls being interested in me, I want more of a relationship than be in servitude," Nate said with a small laugh.

"If you are planning to stay in this city I recommend preparing your Mind-Protection band to stop any unwanted memory changes-Sir, one of the drones has picked up a high amount of magic not far from your location."

Nate slammed his foot on the brakes and stopped his bike in its tracks.

"What's the situation?" Nate said as his helmet showed a live feed of a park, a faint shimmer over it. Getting to the location of the park Nate put his bike into high gear and started to drive.

"It seemed a park not far from your location is being encased in a magic dome. Blocking anyone from entering or seeing what was inside

"Get all drones in the area to the park ASAP, if this is a group I'm going to need some backup."

"Sir, should I get your suit ready?"

"No time," Nate said as he made a sharp right and at the end of the street he could see the park about a mile away, making the young man drive faster. "The start-up will take too long even if rushed! I know I should have prepped before leaving my house!" Nate cursed as he saw a few drones flying overhead as they got closer to the park. Nathan's Drones were in the shape of balls the size of basketballs, made of dark steel with one red camera lens in the center. "Don't worry, I still got a few goodies on hand!" The inventor said as he reached into his back, and a loud click was heard.

A moment later Nate and his drones entered the park, and instantly Nate felt a strong compulsion to leave right away. Thankfully, the young inventor's mind was strong enough to shake the compulsion off.

As soon as Nate entered the dome he saw two figures by themselves, and Nate recognized one instantly as the biggest pervert in school, Issei Hyoudous. The second person was a young-looking girl Nate didn't recognize, who had long black hair and white clothes on.

What drew Nate's attention was the shocked look on Issei's face and the innocent smile on the girl's face, a smile that was far too innocent.

Nate then saw the girl's hand glow purple and saw a white light spear appear in her hands.

*VRROOOOM*

"Issei! Get Back!"

Issei and the mysterious girl whipped their heads to Nate as he rode his motorcycle at top speeds right at the pair, who both had shocked looks on their faces, but they were different. The mysterious girl's face turned murderous as she turned to the clueless Issei while pulling her light spear back, ready to stab the clueless boy.

*Zoooom*

Just as the mysterious girl thrust the light spear one of Nate's drones flew between the two and took the attack for Issei, resulting in the drone exploding with enough force to throw Issei back several feet.

"Eat this bitch!" Nate yelled as he put his bike into high gear before jumping off and rolling into the ground.

The bike flew across the ground before slamming into the mysterious girl with enough force to take her off her feet, getting a cry of shock and pain as the bike rammed her into a tree.

Nate panted softly as he ripped his helmet off before sliding on a pair of black sunglasses.

"SAM, how's Issei?" Nate asked as his five remaining drones hovered around him.

"Scans show minor injury to his body, bleeding from his head, and a minor concussion. However, none of these injuries are life-threatening."

"Keep a drone on him as added protection," Nate said as one of his drones flew to Issei and hovered around the injured boy. At the same time, Nate's bike exploded, making the inventor wince as his favorite bike was blown to pieces. "This fight is far from over," Nate said as he reached into his bag.

As the motorcycle exploded and set the tree and grass on fire, a lone figure stepped out of the fire, the mysterious girl. Only now she looked different.

Gone was the innocent Japanese girl and stood a tall woman with a furious expression. She wore black straps around her body that resembled something worn for BDSM, with black gloves, spikes on her shoulders, and high heel boots. The most noticeable thing Nate saw other than her choice in clothing was the jet-black wings coming out of her back.

This was a Fallen Angel.

"Who dares..." The Fallen Angel said with a nasty snarl on her face as her eyes landed on Nate, who was still kneeling on the ground with drones flying around him. "A human?" The Fallen Angel said with a bewildered look on her face.

"One hundred presents," Nate said as he pulled his hand out of his bag and throw it to the side. "And this human is about to kick your ass."

The Fallen Angel looked surprised before a shape grin crossed her face as she cackled, throwing her head back. "Hahahaha! Do you truly believe a human such as yourself has any chance against me? You have no magic, and no sacred gear I can sense, you are just an insignificant worm-AH!"

Nate cut the Fallen Angel off as he raised his hand to reveal a gauntlet encasing his arm up to his shoulder. The gauntlet was a sleek dark blue that fit snuggly on his arm, a bright light glowing in the palm of the gauntlet. The gauntlet then fired a beam of blue energy that nailed the Fallen Angel right in her chest, sending her flying back.

"It's best not to underestimate humans," Nate said with a grin as he lowered his arm.

"AAAAAHHHHHHH!" The Fallen Angel screamed in pure fury as she flew high into the air and created two light spears in each hand. "Die you worthless human-AH!"

The Fallen Angel was attacked again in her mid-dialog, only this time by Nate's drone it shot a cable that wrapped around her waist before sending a powerful electric current through her body, making her scream out in pain. This broke her concentration on her light spears as the drone dragged her out of the air and headed right toward Nate.

The young inventor grinned as he ran forward while cocking his armored fist back as the gauntlet glowed with power. Once the screaming Fallen Angel was close enough Nate nailed the winged woman right in her face, hearing a satisfying crunch as she was blown several feet back, the drone releasing the cable from itself.

The Fallen Angel managed to pull herself together from the blow and glared at Nate with hatred as she flew back. Her hands glowed with magic as she created another light spear before throwing it at Nathan.

The young inventor's eyes widen as he brought his gauntlet up just as the light spear hit, creating a small explosion that filled the area with dust and smoke.

"Hahahaha!" The Fallen Angel cackled like an evil villain as she flew high into the air. "As expected, a weak human stood no chance against a high-class Fallen Angel such as myself-"

"You talk way too much."

The Fallen Angel's jaw dropped as the smoke cleared to reveal Nathan, completely unharmed.

Around Nathan's body was a blue dome-like shield that emitted from the gauntlet, completely protecting him from the attack.

"Sir, that attack took your gauntlet's power down to 89%. Please be careful."

"I will SAM," Nate said as he brought his gauntlet down, bringing the shield down as well. "That all you got? I have to say I'm a little disappointed."

The Fallen Angel woman looked a little frantic as she looked down at Nate in shock. "How... how can a human be putting up such a fight..." The winged woman said as she glared with hatred at Nate. "You have no magic, no sacred gear, how can you be putting up a fight!" The woman screamed as more light spears appeared in her hands.

Nate couldn't help but roll his eyes as his drones flew in and shot blue beams at the Fallen Angel, forcing her to dodge. "Yup, she's a Fallen Angel grunt, a good amount of power, but zero imagination and very little skill."

The Fallen Angel woman flew through the air while throwing light spears at Nate's drones, which dodged the attacks perfectly before shooting more beams at the winged woman.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!" The Fallen Angel thought as she continued to throw light spears at the devices only for them to dodge with little effort before they shot at her. The Fallen Angel's body was battered and bruised all over, blood dripping down her battered body. "What the fuck are these stupid machines! They keep dodging and hitting me with whatever stings like hell, I can't keep taking this for very-AAAAHHHHH!"

While the Fallen Angel was flying around she made the big mistake of taking her eyes off Nathan.

Using the drones to direct the Fallen Angel in the sky Nate put the winged woman in the perfect position to take a blast right in the back from Nathan's gauntlet, leaving behind a giant scorch mark.

"You... you fucking human..." The Fallen Angel woman croaked out as she still managed to stay in the air, though it looked shaky. "How is... a fucking monkey like you... causing me pain..." She coaked out while glancing at the drones flying around her, not attacking but with their guns trained on her.

"You're not dealing with the average monkey, you winged bitch." Nate said with a cocky grin as his gauntlet powered up. "Now then, it's time I take you in. You have a lot of explaining to do... Raynare."

The now-named Raynare eyes widen in shock as the human below her uttered her name, and for the first time ever, she felt fear of this human.

"He-He knows my name, which means someone sent him. Was it the church, the Devils, does someone know of our plans?" Raynare thought as she started to sweat, her eyes darting around for an escape, but found none. "I need to escape and re-group, this human is too dangerous to take on with his machines."

Nate grinned as he saw Raynare start to sweat. He had her cornered and hurt, meaning taking her would be easy.

"Then I can find out where the others are and find out what exactly their plan is." Nathan thought as his drones slowly started to move in, making Raynare look around frantically.

*Beep*Beep*Beep*

Nate's glasses went off as a large detection of magic was picked up, and it was happening right next to the unconscious Issei.

Whipping around Nate and his drone were ready to move in to protect the unconscious boy as a red magic circle, but the inventor stopped at the sight of a very familiar redhead appearing.

Rias Gremory.

The busty redhead appeared from the magic circle and looked down at Issei with concern, before whipping her head back to Nathan with a surprised look.

"Helwing-San?" Rias said with a shocked look on her face.

Nate then glanced at Issei and noticed a white paper with blood dripping from it in the pervert's hand, making Nathan click his teeth. "Things just got more complicated-"

"HA!"

Nate's eyes widen as he brought up his gauntlet just in time to take a powerful light spear, resulting in a large explosion.

"Thanks for the save, you Devil Bitch!" Raynare called out as she flew away as fast as she could.

"Fuck!" Nate yelled out in anger as his body shook from the attack. While he took no damage he still felt a good amount of force, shaking his body to the bones. "SAM, get any drones in the area on that bitch ASAP!"

"Right away sir, though I believe she may have already gone underground."

"God damn it..." Nate groaned as he grabbed his face with his left hand. "We were so fucking close..." Nate then turned to see a shocked Rias standing over an unconscious Issei before the redhead's face morphed into a serious look. "And now things are more complicated."

21N: That's a wrap!

So we got to see some of Nathan Helwing's fighting style! Now let's go over a few things!

1: I actually didn't like the fight between Nathan and Raynare all that much, but I felt that kind of fighting was necessary. Don't worry, the fights to come are going to be much more interesting!

2: As for how smart Nathen is? I'd say right between Tony Stark and Moon Girl, with the ability to create extraordinary inventions with little means.

3: I know everyone is already going to ask, so I'm just going to say it. Yes, Nate will make and use power suits/armor throughout the story, however, they will be different compared to Iron Man's armor.

Thanks for reading folks, and I hope you continue.
