"Any word of when she will wake up?" asked Christian as he, his mother, and Ana's doctor stood in the hallway of the hospital. "We don't know for sure, Mr. Grey. Mrs. Grey has been through a lot over the last few days. It's a miracle that it's not more severe than it is."
"What exactly is the extent of her injuries?" asked Grace. "She has healing bruises over her body. She has minor cuts across most of her torso. She has a badly broken ankle. It took a few hours to fix in surgery. She will need very strict rules when she goes home. And she also suffered blood loss."
"She's a very lucky young lady considering." Anger fumed Christian. He wanted to figure out which hospital Hyde was in to finish the job. "It's hard to tell when she will wake. Her body has been through a lot of trauma and it needs time to recuperate. Give it a few days, Mr. Grey." Christian nodded and the doctor walked away.
Christian walked over to Ana's bed and he took her hand. "Baby, you have to come back to me. We still have a baby to raise. And we still have our whole lives together. You just have to hang in there for me, please." he begged.
Grace walked over and put her hand on his shoulder and rubbed it. "Come on, we need to get you something to eat. You've barely eaten in the last few days." Christian didn't move a muscle. "Christian, come. Either eat or we will need to hospitalize you." Christian looked at his mother. "I can't leave her mom."
"It's just a few minutes." Christian sighed and nodded. He got up and he went to follow his mom. He felt lightheaded. "Christian, are you alright?" she asked. Christian's world went black. He woke up a few hours later and he looked around.
He was in a hospital bed. "What happened?" he asked. "Dehydration and trauma to your body. You're still recovering yourself, Christian." Christian sat up and he went to rip his I.V. from him. Grace grabbed his hand.
"Don't think about it. You are going to lay here and you are going to stay here until this bag is empty. You were very dehydrated and you have low blood sugar from not eating in the last few days. You are going to lay down and you are going to like it." said Grace.
Christian sighed and nodded. He laid back down. "You don't have to worry about being away from Ana." She pulled the curtain back and there laid Ana next to him. Christian looked at his mom. "They understood under the circumstances." Christian nodded. "Thank you, mom." she smiled and nodded. "Now, go ahead and rest. You still have another hour." Christian nodded. He laid his head back and he closed his eyes. He was exhausted, the last few days catching up with him.
He opened his eyes and he looked around. The room was dark. He looked at the couch in the room and saw his mother fast asleep. He looked at his arm and the I.V. was gone. He must have slept through it. He looked over and Ana hadn't moved at all. He got up and he walked quietly over to her.
He pushed the hair from her face and he tucked it behind her ear. She didnt move at all. "Ana, I don't know if you can hear me, but I am begging you to wake up. Please fight and come back to me. I am here, please." he begged as he kissed her hand clasped in his. He kissed her head and he walked back over to his bed and he laid down, looking at her.
He was woken up by the sunbeams creeping through the curtain. He looked around. Grace wasn't in the room. He sat up and he looked at his wife. He got up and walked over to her and sat at her bed and took her hand.
Grace walked into the room. "I have your discharge papers here." Christian turned and looked at her. He nodded. He signed his papers and he looked back at his wife. "Mom, would you mind watching over her for a bit? I need to make a drive." Grace looked at her son.
"Where?" she asked. Christian looked at her. "I just need to take a drive and clear my head." Grace sighed and nodded. "Don't do anything stupid." Christian nodded and grabbed his jacket. He walked out of the hospital. He took his phone out. "Taylor, I need you to make a phone call and tell me where Hyde is, now." he hung up and he walked to his car.
He started his car and his phone rang. "Taylor, where the hell is this sick fuck?" he asked. He peeled out of the parking lot.
