A/N: This is what I wrote when I was on Emi's Route... Nothing fantastic, just running...

"I am going to die."
That's all I could think as I ran, my legs wailing, begging for me to stop this nonsense. But for some weird reason,
I still run, panting heavily as I did. No murmurs sound through my pulse as I ran, probably signaling that I am probably just exaggerating, but my heart almost feels like that time in December, the time where I almost did die.
A blur passes me, a girl with twin tails speeding around the track. What is this? Her eight? Ninth? I almost finished my third when she is half way done with this lap. As I run, I stare at her. It's a bit creepy, sure, but it calms me down a little. Just looking at her does that sometimes, like I've been put on painkillers or fell into a trance of some sort or maybe a mix of the two.
Her gold tails bounced as she flies and overtakes me again. In the split second of her next to me, I could see her face. Her large green eyes, wide and cheerful, her mouth put in some joyful (and somehow devious) grin. Her arms were almost flapping like a birds, any faster and she would fly. Soon my eyes wander lower, past her waist, past her thighs. I looked at the metal prosthetics on her stumps, the curve "legs" that made her spring with every step.
I finally finish my fourth and final lap and start with my cooldown walk as she sprints pass. She notices that I finished, so she turns around and begins to jog backwards, her face in breaking into a wide grin showing no amount of discomfort or tiredness. "You finished slowpoke?"
"Yes, any further and I might keel over again."
She briefly frowns remembering our first run where I made the mistake of racing her, before giving her usual smile.
"Can't have that happen, the nurse might scold me." I put my hands behind my head to help my breathing when she speaks up again. "I'm gonna go for a few more laps, then I'll cool down alright? Then we can go visit the nurse."
"Of course", I smile, her happy demeanor infecting me and overriding the muscle to my face.
She turns back around and breaks away, zooming down the track. I look at her again. She isn't just a girl without legs, she isn't just a runner without legs. The way she told me, the way I see it... She's the fastest thing on no legs... and that's the best way to see it...
A/N: I haven't played any KS for a while... Gonna try Rin's next...
