Chat Noir's P.O.V

"Paris I am your new leader truth seeker! I will be spilling civilians secrets you have been wanting to know!" Lila cackled.

Truth seeker really? How ironic.

I had more important stuff to worry about than dealing with an akuma. I was planning on taking Marinette out.

Oh no Marinette! I forgot about her! I left her alone at home. Father will kill me if anything happens to her.

I quickly run to my house leaving truth seeker confused. I jump through my window and run to Marinette's room. The room is empty to my surprise. Where is she? "Marinette!" I call out. No reply from her. I hear a loud scream from outside and notice her window is open.

I quickly jump out of her room and go looking for her. By the time I got to her it was to late. Truth seeker had pinned her down.

"Marinette! Why don't you really tell everyone the truth!" My eyes went wide as Lila zapped Marinette with her powers causing her to float in the air.

No words came out of her. Lila was becoming enraged at this point. Her plan to humiliate Marinette backfired. How though? Lila appears to now be fighting with her inner voice known as Hawkmoth.

Next thing I know she drops Marinette and flees from the fight. I quickly ran and caught her before she hit the ground. She was unconscious but was breathing normally so I used my trusty pole and vaulted us home. Truth seeker being the last thing on my mind.

Marinette's P.O.V

I woke up in my bed but how did I get here? I looked around and noticed Tikki resting peacefully beside me. Wait, now I remember! Lila was akumatized! I was on my balcony when Lila, also known as truth seeker spotted me and captured me. After that my memory is foggy.

I got up and stretched and made my way to Adrien's room. I knocked on his door and he opened it quickly appearing not surprised by my presence.

"We need to talk." Was all he said once I entered and I knew deep down we did in fact need to. No matter how difficult it would be.
