Chapter 6: The Badge Of Burden.

The next day on Team ZDAC dorm

Zen wakes up as his alarm on his scroll shows 6:00am.

"Alright,gotta begin new fresh day of school" zen thought as he went to shower.

After zen done with showering, He prepared himself go to classes begin as students of beacon. Then rest of his teammates also rose up to start new day as students. Then zen's teammates finished their morning shcedule.

A while later

Zen and his teammates on the cafeteria digging on their breakfast.

"So,leader...i wanna ask something that is...why did you like to rolled school uniform arm sleeve to below elbow level?" alne asked with curiosity.

"Girl,remember? his arm?" diane replied to the curious wolf faunus.

"Says the one who never open eyes?" zen said.

"I take that as an insult..." diane replied.

"Im also impressed on doctor pietro inventions" charles said as he adjust his glasses.

"Who?" zen asked.

"Oh,someone i knew from home" charles replied.

"So,charlie...you really are an heir of weapons techs company,right?" diane asked.

"Um...about that,can you guys keep this a secret between us,please?" charles said.

"Then what is it?" alne asked.

"Actually...i dont want to be a heir of the company..." charles replied.

Zen,alne diane shared look then gave an sympathy look to charles.

"Why?" zen asked.

"I had bad relationship with my dad...He is worst to me...always wanted perfect..." charles said then his expression changed into sorrowness.

"He is your papa...why dislike him?" alne asked.

"I-its...hard and complicated things to talk about..." charles said as he took off his glasses then wiped the lens of his glasses.

Then zen placed his prosthesis arm on charles shoulder.

"You are not alone,buddy...you have us...as friends,no...family...Now its better if we supports each other from now on..." zen said.

Zen's teammates were amazed by zen speech of encouragement.

"Thanks,cap'n...guess the rumors was right after all,you really look alike to Mr.Exia and Ms.Exia" charles said then put on his glasses back.

"Yeah,i know...c'mon guys...we better off to class,which is professor port class" zen replied.

"Yeah,we should go" diane added.

Team zdac make their way to the professor port class.

Later on professor port class

Professor port class still early as few of the students were chatting and some of them were doing their own things.

"Woah...doctor pietro polendina really made that?" alne asked.

"Girl,are you really that curious?" diane said.

Charles just let out chuckle. "Ah,its alright...i cant blame her"

"Point taken" zen said as his left arm patting the wolf faunus head.

All of sudden alne expression changed as her wolf ears flatten cuz of humans and faunuses civil war since she was a kid.

"Girl,you okay?" diane asked as her hand alne's shoulder.

"...I-i dont understand why humans hates us faunuses that much...did we something wrong to you guys...?" alne expressions drops as tears begin to form on her eyes.

"Girl,of course not" diane gave hug to alne. "We maybe from human race as you can see,everyone had different heart...who likes treat faunuses terribly and even judge them...but,not for us...we wont judge them"

"Yeah,diane is right...faunus is also same living being just like us..." charles added as he adjust his glasses.

"My parents also treated faunuses as their friends,allies and even family...they always stood up for them,and its also my dream to make bond between our races" zen said.

"Simply astonishingly speech there,cap'n" charles replied.

"Yeah,if anyone tried to lay their hands on you girl,we wont hesitate to kicking butts" diane cheered.

"Thanks guys..." alne said as cheered up a little.

Meanwhile at team rwby's dorm

On the bright morning on team rwby dorm. Weiss who appears to be had woken up then got suprised by ruby blowing the whistle as ruby already in her uniform.

"Gah!"

"Good morning team rwby!" ruby beamed.

"What in the world is wrong with you?!" weiss shouted while she still on her sleepwear.

"Now that you awake...we can do our morning business" ruby beamed.

"Excuse me?" weiss asked.

"Decorating our dorm!" yang cheered as her arms is full with their stuff.

Yang and Blake are also in their uniform.

"What?" weiss asked again.

"We still have to unpack our things..." blake said as she holding a luggage as her stuff burst out from the luggage. "And...clean up"

With that weiss who only stood there with unimpressed expression then got suprised by ruby blowing the whistle again makes weiss stumble backwards.

"Alright! Blake,Yang,Weiss and their fearless leader Ruby will be starting our morning mission to decorate and clean the Room! 'Banzai' " ruby said as she held fist on the air.

"Banzai" yang and blake does the same.

With that the teams begin to decorate and cleaning their dorm. As yang placed poster on the wall. Then weiss placed frame landscape painting on wall then walked away. Went to blake as she placed books on the bookshelf just by blake hands had book with title 'Ninjas Of Love' as her eyes widen a bit then kept the book away to herself. And while with ruby who on dorm curtain window as she slashed down the curtain by accident with her 'Crescent Rose' while she turns around.

"Ruby! we needed that!" weiss yelled.

"S-sorry...my bad,eheheh" ruby replied sheepishly.

"For Oum sake..." weiss mumbled on her breath.

After they done decorating their dorm,everything is good looking except their beds.

"I dont really think thats how this work..." weiss started.

"This seems a bit off..." blake comment.

"Should we ditch our stuff?" yang said.

"Or maybe we should ditched the beds?" ruby added. "Ooh! how about we replaced it with bunk beds?"

"Isnt that gonna be a bit dangerous?" weiss commented.

"And it is super awesome" yang beamed.

"It would gave more efficient space" blake commented.

"I would say if we pick a vote!" weiss added.

"But,arent you already did?" ruby asked.

Blake just gave a thumbs up for her vote,as yang let fist in the air as weiss gave displeased expression then the team begin their work with sawing,jackhammering and hammering the nails noises goes then the team went into their position.

"Alright!" ruby beamed.

A display where team rwby's dorm bunk beds were shown.

"Mission acomplished! now onto next mission is..." ruby suddenly sat on her bed with open book. "Classes...all around schedule of a day...as for our class on 9:00"

"Wait,did you said...9:00 o'clock?!" weiss asked.

"Uhm..."

"Its 8:55 you dunce!" weiss sprints away towards class.

As weiss panicked mixed with shocked expression as she already sprints away leaving R.B.Y peek out from dorm door so does team JNPR.

"Whats with her?" jaune asked.

"U-uhm...To the class!" ruby yelled as she begin sprints forwards followed by yang and blake.

"Eh?"

Team JNPR collapsed then jaune stood up quickly then begin sprints off.

"Ah crap! we're gonna be late!" jaune yelled.

Both teams running across the courtyard as professor ozpin and glynda just watched their students in rush went to class as them both just happen pass by while glynda took a glance on her watch and ozpin took a sip of his mug.

Evantually on professor peter port class

Zen who was writing down notes so does professor port do the talk. Alne who seems to be happen reading books about new species of grimm. Charles just happen to spinning his pen with his fingers. As for diane who seems to be asleep on professor port class.

"Is there any questions?" professor port asked.

Then alne rise up her hand.

"Yes,Ms.Wolvis?"

"Uhm...sir? is there a new species of grimm?" alne asked.

"Hmm,very understanding...from what ive heard from the remnant legendary hero...yes,i believe there is a new grimm species...they were known as 'Grim-Shifters'...these kind of grimm had appearance like a humans or faunus with an ability to turn into Hybrid Gri-"

Then a sudden burst out from team rwby and team jnpr.

"We managed to make it..." ruby said.

"Ah,team rwby and jnpr the class is on right now...mind to explain why late?" professor port asked.

"We truly apologize about that,sir..." pyrrha said.

"Hm,forgiven...i let this slide once,but...try to be early as team zdac here went early" professor port said.

"Yes sir" both team said then went to their seats.
