The episode begins with flashbacks. Later, at the ruins, Ferrel's men are having dinner with the old man named Benjamin.
"There's no need to apologize." said Ferrel.
"I know the way to resurrect the real Jack." said Rick.
"How?" asked Ferrel.
"We defeat Crusadermon and her henchmen and convince her to fight to stop the resurrected Pennywise." said Rick.
The briefing continues during the meal. Rick is then having an aura. At the corridor, Dr. Laura and Hammond are entering the infirmary with Rick.
"Here's the brain pattern papers." said Dr. Laura.
Hammond is presented with Rick's brain patterns. Later at the briefing room, Ferrel's men are gathered to discuss the mission to resurrect Jack. Rick is then having visions.
"What's wrong, Rick?" asked Hammond.
"I keep having visions after the mission." said Rick.
"I'll contact the Pentagon and then we will take you to the infirmary." said Hammond.
Later at the room, Miss May and Rick converse. At the office, Dr. Laura talks to Hammond.
"I spoke to Alex, and he said that the mission caused Rick to pass out." said Dr. Laura
"Let me speak to him." said Hammond.
At the room, Hammond shows up only for the alarm to go off. They are sent to the briefing room to greet Ilona, a new member.
"Welcome, strangers." said Ilona.
"I need to speak to Herissmon and Meicoomon." said Hammond. "And thank you for rescuing him a long time ago."
Ferrel summons Herissmon and Meicoomon and takes them to his office. At the room, Miss May speaks to Rick.
"You have headaches?" asked Miss May.
"Yes, ma'am." said Rick. "Hammond said refrain from going on missions until the problem is taken care of."
Still at the briefing room, the briefing continues with Herissmon and Meicoomon.
"Meicoomon said that Rick must not be taken outside of the headquarters until further notice." said Herissmon.
"Good." said Hammond. "Ferrel, take the rest of the crew and SG2 to the same place. Dismissed."
At the infirmary, Dr. Laura checks up on Rick. He then sees visions again, this time when Miss May suffers from a cardiac arrest. The vision ends when the gate is activated.
"Ferrel, what is going on down here?" asked Hammond.
"Rick is going to the mission anyway!" creid Ferrel.
"Shut it down." ordered Hammond.
At the briefing room, Hammond does the mission briefing.
"Listen, Hammond, we must not second-guess the outcome." said Miss May.
"Sam, Pete, accompany Rick while we explore the ruins." said Ferrel.
At the ruins, Alex, Shoutmon and Ferrel are observing the activity.
"Yesterday, there was a big epidemic involving seizures." said the man.
"Is it Meicoomon?" asked Ferrel.
"Yes. Meicoomon had a seizure from digivolving Guilmon, Terriermon and Renamon at the same time." said the man.
Later, Rick returns to the headquarters and studies until he hears alarm. At the corridor, Rick sees Miss May suffering from a cardiac arrest from a mission, similar to the one he sees in his visions earlier. At the infirmary, Miss May sees Rick.
"This is why you should not go on a mission where a big massacre is involved." said Rick.
"Sorry, Rick." said Miss May.
"No need to apologize." said Rick. "Where's Meicoomon?"
"Still in the ruins." replied Miss May.
At the ruins, Ferrel, Sam, Pete and Alex does a briefing only to be cornered by Crusadermon.
"You!" cried Ferrel.
"I want Meicoomon for our experiments." said Crusadermon.
At the room, Dr. Laura finds Rick unconscious. Later, Ferrel's men are imprisoned by Crusadermon.
"Where's Meicoomon?! I want to speak with her!" cried Ferrel.
"He is in the torturing stage." replied Crusadermon. "Make sure they don't escape!"
"Yes, my lady." said the man.
At the infirmary, Dr. Laura wakes Rick up. He then sees a vision depicting assassins infiltrating the headquarters, killing several people. Crusadermon, along with Jellymon, Gammamon and Angoramon show up. The vision ends when Crusadermon shoots the man in the head at point blank range with her DigiVice. Back at the prison, Alex, Sam, Pete and Shoutmon see Rika, who survived a massacre several years ago, who helps them escape. Back at the infirmary, Rick sees visions again.
"Come on, breathe!" cried Rick to himself.
The vision continues. This time, it was Ferrel's men who were able to get to the gate. Crusadermon shows up with Gammamon, Jellymon and Angoramon.
"I want Meicoomon!" cried Jellymon. "Get him!"
Ferrel summons Herissmon and Terriermon.
"Make sure Terriermon does not digivolve." said Ferrel.
"Yes, sir." said Herissmon.
The vision ends. At the forest, Rika is told not to get out of sight. Hammond activates the gate. Rick undergoes surgery, despite the fact that the mission is going on. The man receives a call from Hammond. At the exit, several minutes earlier, Ferrel summons Herissmon and Terriermon. He was told not to let Terriermon digivolve.
"If you let Terriermon digivolve, Meicoomon will have a seizure." said Herissmon.
"Yes, sir." said Ferrel. "What about Guilmon and Renamon?"
"Same." said Herissmon. "Impmon and I can digivolve just fine."
Meanwhile, Rick is under anesthesia. The surgeons perform a tumor removal. At the embarkation room, the gate is surrounded by several men armed with weapons.
"It's SG15, come in. This is Hammond." said Hammond. "Come in. Open the iris, sir."
The iris is open.
"Now!" cried Hammond.
Ferrel and his men are able to escape the ruins with Meicoomon, Herissmon and Terriermon.
"Hold your fire, doc!" cried Hammond.
Later at the infirmary, Ferrel greets Rick who are recovering from a pre-battle surgery.
"I spoke to Mei-mei, Herissmon, and he said that the mission to stop the purger is happening as soon as Rick is recovered." said Renamon.
"All right, conversation's over." said Dr. Laura. "Rick, you need to rest."
Rick is resting from the surgery. Several days later, Ferrel and his men prepare for the final battle to stop not only Crusadermon and her henchmen, but also the purge.
