After Seth has escaped, the mission to contain the Heartless has become even more important. Team Rocket and the Alpha Trio kept on running for their lives when the Tyranosaurus Wrath and the Alloslashes kept chasing after them.
"Someone help us!" Jessie yelled.
"Anyone will do!" James yelled.
"Even the twerps!" Meowth yelled.
Just then, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel jumped and slashed the dinosaur-like Heartless, destroying them.
"Those kids saved us!" Zander said.
"Yeah, because no one deserves to have their hearts taken by the Heartless," Sora said.
"And we know about Seth being behind all of this," Kairi said.
"And that gives us a reason to stop him," Ash said.
"Yeah, that's going to be easier said than done. We have no idea where he went," Rex said.
"Before the Heartless eventually turn on him. Because if he gets in touch in the darkness for too long, he'll turn into a Heartless," Tracey said.
"Tracey's right. We should deal with Seth. He's the source of the Heartless attack," Leaf said.
"What are we standing around for? Let's go and find the guy," Jimbo suggested.
"Wait, you'll have to sit this one out," Sora said.
"Wait, what?" Jimbo asked.
"Why should we?" Eva asked.
"Nothing personal, but it's just we don't put you three in anymore danger. You're not used to fighting the Heartless like we are. And there could be more people somewhere who needs help," Sora said.
"You know something? He's right, you guys. I don't know who that Seth guy is, but if he thinks he's going to get away with this, then he has another thing coming," Diego said.
"We'll try to find Seth. You focus on finding and rescuing the people still stuck here," Sora said.
"Okay. Kick his butt for me," Eva said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey, the D-Team, Rod, Laura, Team Rocket, the Alpha Trio, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, the Pichu, and the dinosaurs went off to find Seth.
"Hey, who asked the old ladies to tag along?" Zoe asked.
"WE'RE NOT OLD LADIES!" Jessie and Ursula yelled.
"Oh, brother," Sora said, rolling his eyes.
"NEED I REMIND YOU THAT I'M 16! AND I HAVE BEEN FOR YEARS!" Ursula yelled.
"Is that even possible to be 16 forever?" Leaf asked, raising a brow.
"That would be considered impossible," Tracey said.
"And I'll have you know, pint-size, I'm still as young I have ever been!" Jessie said.
"Define young," Zoe scoffed.
"Is she always like this, Max?" Sora asked.
"She is," Max answered.
Jessie and Ursula continued to argue with Zoe. The argument went on and on right until Ash spoke up.
"Could you three give it a rest already? How are we going to fight the Heartless if we fight each other?" Sora asked.
"Who cares about the Heartless?" Ursula asked.
"I care," Sora said.
"And you should care, too. If we don't put a stop to this, then the Heartless will spread all over the entire Johto region, and eventually, the Kanto region, and then the world. No one will be safe as long as Seth is on the loose," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"It'll be like the realm of darkness all over again. I'm still having nightmares about Ansem and all those Heartless," Meowth said. Wobbufet popped out.
"Wobbufet!" Wobbufet said, popping out.
"Hey, what do you mean, you too? You weren't even there at that time!" Meowth said.
"Wobbu," Wobbufet said, hanging his head in defeat, knowing how true that was. James, Zander, Ed, and Mime Jr comforted the Patient Pokemon.
"There, there, Wobby," Ed said.
"Everyone has to start from somewhere, right?" Zander asked.
"Be strong, Wobbufet," James said.
"Mime, Mime," Mime Jr said.
"Is it me, or does that guy with the blue hair looks like he could be a better fit for those two than Ursula?" Laura asked.
"I think you're actually right, Laura," Rod agreed.
"Me too. Just as Jessie and Ursula are a perfect match for one-another," Tracey said.
Sora then made a stop when he heard something above them.
"Everyone, stop!" Sora said. And everyone does stop.
"What's wrong, Sora?" Rex asked.
"And why did you stop?" Rod asked.
"I hear something right above us!" Sora said.
"Is it a Heartless?" Zoe asked.
"I don't know," Sora said. Sora, Kairi, Ash, and Leaf all summoned their Keyblades just in case it is a Heartless or some Nobodies coming to attack them. It turns out to be a Dr. Z flying in his aircraft. "What is that?"
"Grandpa?" Rod asked.
"Dr. Z! He's come to rescue us after all!" Ed said.
"You mean rescue me!" Ursula said. A Terrordactyl appeared and attacked the aircraft. Dr. Z yelped.
"Get away from me! Go away! Shoo!" Dr. Z demanded.
"That Heartless is in the way!" Ursula said.
"Not for long!" Sora said, throwing his Keyblade at the Terrordactyl, striking it. Dr. Z saw it dissolve as a heart floats up in the air.
"A heart?" Dr. Z asked. He spotted the group. Mostly, he spotted Rod and Laura. He makes a landing and came out. "There you are, you two little runaways! You're in for an earful of a lifetime!" Not before, Sora casts a zero gravity spell on him. "What the?! What's going on?! Put me down, right now!"
"No way," Sora said.
"Listen, I know you know about my parents, the Ancients. I want to know where they are!" Rex demanded.
"And why should I tell you?" Dr. Z said.
"Because if you don't, then I might use some of more of my magic to make you talk," Sora said.
"There's no such thing as magic!" Dr. Z protested.
"Thunder!" Sora shouted as a bolt of lightning struck him. He screamed in pain. He was slightly singed. "Still think there's no such thing as magic?" Sora was ready to use some more magic spells on him.
"Alright, alright! They're on the island! I can get you there!" Dr. Z said.
"You better be telling the truth, Z!" Rex said.
"It's true. I can get you there just by teleporting!" Dr. Z said. He activates the teleportation and he teleports, himself, Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey the D-Team, the Alpha Trio, Rod, Laura, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, the Pichu, and the dinosaurs over to their island base as Team Rocket are left behind.
"Hey, what about us?" Jessie asked.
"What are we, chopped liver?" Meowth asked.
"With our luck, we are," James said.
Just then, a roar is heard and they saw the Dinosaur-like Heartless coming right at them.
"Heartless!" Meowth exclaimed.
"Run for it!" Jessie yelled. And they do run for their lives.
Sora, Kairi, Ash, Leaf, Tracey the D-Team, Dr. Z, the Alpha Trio, Rod, Laura, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, the Pichu, and the dinosaurs all arrived to their island base. Dr. Z leads them to through the lab and right up to the stasis pods.
"Here they are," Dr. Z said. Rex walked over to the pods and he saw his parents. His father has brown hair and wore futuristic clothing. His mother has blonde hair and wore glasses. She also wore futuristic clothing as well.
"Mom, dad," Rex said.
"Okay, Z. Let them out," Max said.
"Don't tell me what to do!" Dr. Z said. Sora cleared his throat. Dr. Z saw Sora holding his Keyblade in his hand. "By that, I mean, whatever you say." He deactivates the stasis pods and allowed Rex's parents to awaken. They slowly opened their eyes. Rex's father has blue eyes while his mother has green eyes. They saw Rex looking at them.
"Rex, is that you?" Rex's mother asked.
"Mom, dad," Rex tearfully said.
"Rex, it really is us," Rex's father said. Rex hugged his parents and they hugged him back.
"You've grown so much, Rex," Rex's mother said. Tears formed in the eyes of Kairi and Zoe, seeing them reunited. Sora and Max took them by the hands. Sora and the rest of the group ends up being happy for Rex.
"If I had a heart, it could bring a tear to my eye," a familiar voice spoke. The tender moment was ruined.
"Who's there?" Dr. Z asked. Xigbar appeared from a corridor of darkness.
"This wasn't something I was expecting. I was expecting to finish you off in Johto, and this happens," Xigbar said.
"What do you want, Xigbar?" Sora asked.
"You think I want anything? As if," Xigbar scoffed.
"Who's this guy?" Max asked.
"Xigbar. He's a member of Organization XIII. We first saw him back on the Whirl Islands, and again in Ecruteak City," Tracey said.
"The guy Seth mentioned before," Zoe said.
"And they're the ones who are trying to get rid of Sora," Ash said.
"Why are you doing this?" Leaf asked.
"Now that would be telling. You can't just expect me to start blabbering about our big plan," Xigbar said.
"And what is that suppose to mean, cyclops?" Ursula asked.
"We all got our secrets. Just like you got yours. I know that you're from the future. Hearing the hearts of the dinosaurs before they went bye-bye. And soon, human beings and Pokémon took the world for themselves," Xigbar said.
"We're willing to share the world with the dinosaurs!" Rex said.
"If that's what you think? As if. I started something, so I'm going to finish it no matter where you are. So play with these," Xigbar said as a bunch of Snipers appeared all around.
"Nobodies!" Sora, Kairi, Ash, and Leaf exclaimed.
Xigbar made his escape as a corridor of darkness appeared.
Back with Team Rocket, they're running from the dinosaur-like Heartless as fast as their feet can carry them. They thought they were done for when the hooded young man, along with Espeon and Umbreon appeared and attacked them. He held the Colosseums of Light and Darkness as Espeon and Umbreon fired Psybeam and Dark Pulse and struck down the Heartless.
"That coat! You're with Organization XIII!" James said.
"Who asked you to come here? Take your Heartless and get lost!" Jessie said.
"I would if I could, and they're not mine," the hooded young man said. He took his leave to deal with the Heartless.
Over to Diego, Eva, and Jimbo, they have their Pokémon fighting the Heartless as the hooded young woman summoned the Star Seeker and used it to strike down some of the Heartless. She casts a fire spell and burns some of them into a crisp. They looked right at her.
"Who are you?" Jimbo asked. She didn't answer and took off. "Hey, wait!"
