There it was again - Sakura with her arms wrapped around some man's neck.

Sasuke knew that sight all too well. And he had seen it too many times.

He had been trying to fix that mistake for several years. That one, small, stupid mistake he made.

Why did he say those words back then ("You don't mean anything to me anymore, Sakura")? Why was he once again driven by emotion?

Sasuke retreated into the shadows so she wouldn't notice him, but it was Sakura, so of course she noticed him with her watchful eye.

"How are you feeling, Sasuke-kun?" that squeaky, exaggerated voice of hers. He would feel like listening to it for hours.

"Fine."

"You still haven't let me know if you'll show up for the wedding."

"I'll tell you tomorrow."

"Okay." she smiled one last time and rushed to her fiancé.

Sasuke was lying. Tomorrow never happened. He always went back six months before that day.

Should he do it? No. Will he do anything to correct his mistake? Yes.

He just didn't know how. Every time he went back in time, Sakura left him. For various reasons, even trivial ones.

Sasuke felt like the universe was laughing at him.

It was karma. The argument - the first and last - had turned into endless suffering.

He opened the portal and stepped inside. Day one, rehearsal one hundred and two - time to start again.
