"You what?!" Pyrrha very calmly asked
"I got a date!" Jaune answered excited "I couldn't believe it either! But it's real, I really got a date!
Nora and Ren shared a look "Well, who's the lucky lady?" Nora asked, lacking a bit of her normal excitement
Jaune however, didn't seem to notice "Oh! Her name is Cinder, she's a student from Vacuo"
"And how exactly do you know her?" Ren asked
That seemed to stopped him "O-oh! Well...I kinda don't..? I thought we could talk about each other over dinner or something"
"Hmm, I guess there's nothing wrong wi-"
"Are you sure this is a good idea Jaune?" Pyrrha suddenly blurted out
"Huh?"
"I-I mean...should you really go on a date with someone you don't know anything about?"
"Well, that's what this for, know each other, see where it takes us"
"It's just...wouldn't it be better to go out with someone you already know?"
"Well, I already tried asking Weiss out and that didn't work, besides, it's not like there's anyone interested and if it doesn't work, well, hey! I didn't lose anything trying"
Pyrrha looked like she wanted to say something, but in the end, she refused
"You know, I thought you guys would be a little more happy" Jaune said, taking a little offense at the lack of cheering
"It's not that we are not happy for you Jaune..." Nora started
"We just worry for you" Ren finished
"Well don't, if anything goes wrong I can handle it"
"..You are right" Pyrrha got close to Jsune took both of his hands "We are happy for Jaune, I hope it goes great" I just wish I could be happy with you was left unsaid
"Pyrrha, are you-"
"I'll go on a walk now, don't worry, it won't be long" and with her piece said, she left the room
"...What was that about?" Jaune asked
Ren sighed "Don't worry about it, we'll talk with her, you focus on your date"
"I...okay, thanks"
There was a moment of awkward silence, before Nora broke it "Is she hot?"
Jaune smiled '"Very"
"Nice"
"You are going on a date?" Mercury asked
Cinder was in sitting in front of her mirror, wearing her iconic red dress, judging herself up and once satisfied she looked at Mercury
"No" Cinder lied "I'm going on a reckon mission, to gather intel about our enemy"
"right...that's why are putting so much effort in you looks"
"I gotta play the part" she defended
"She knows what she's doing" Emerald chimed in "This not only works to get closer to Nikos, Arc is close to team RWBY too, specially their leader"
Cinder frowned "Yes, they are very close aren't they?"
"Yep" Mercury said, popping the P for whatever reason
"I-Is that a problem Maa'm?" Emerald asked
"No, it is not" she said getting up "As you very well put it, it will work to gather info on team RWBY, they've proven to be quite the persistent pest, the more we know about them, the easier to get rid of them, speaking off, have you learn anything about them Emerald?"
"Nothing important" she responded "Just that it is Blake who seems to get them involved with our plans more than anyone else, specially those that involve the White Fang"
"Hmm, I guess it's something..."
KNOCK KNOCK
"Ah, he's here" she checked her hair one last time and smiled "I'm off then"
Emerald internally cried while Mercury laughed at her dismay, she understood that this was part of the plan (she wanted to believe it was, anyway), but still, it hurt, not to be the one to get Cinder's attention
As Emerald lost herself in her thoughts, Cinder opened the door with an strange feeling of excitement
To say that Jaune was nervous would be an understatement, this was his first date ever, so he had pretty much no idea what he was doing, sure, he had some plans, but all of them were based around movies, between that and his team reaction everything seemed to be set up for failure...
...at least until he saw her, every thought in his mind dissapeared the moment that door opened, the beatiful form of Cinder making itself known, from the movement of her hips to the way she blinked, everything in her was just stunning
"Wow, Cinder, You look..." he was at a loss for words
"Amazing?" she giggled
"...Yeah" once again he just stood there, admiring her figure, but once he realized what he was doing he blushed and she, again, giggled "W-we should get going, the movie I picked for us wil probably start soon"
"Well then, let's get going" and so the date had officially started "By the way, wich movie did you pick?
"Oh, just some Spruce Willis film" Jaune answered

First of all, sorry if this is coming kinda late, but today was kind of a lazy day, so I procrastinated a lot
The next chapter is the date and with that one I'll try to take my time, it's the ending if this fic do so I kinda have to do it right, I have two ideas, for the ending, I'll see wich one I'll go with
