"Higurashi Kagome!"
He immediately fell in love with her bright childish smile.
"Are you alone?" Jack asked with concern, seeing that she was far too young to be on her own, especially in such a crowded place with the cold weather to top it off, "Where are your parents?"
"I was with Mama and Papa," Kagome answered, not looking too frightened like a small child should, "But now Mama and Papa aren't here."
That much was obvious.
Jack glanced around, worried that Kagome might be picked up by a predator if he just left her here or she would succumb to the cold temperatures, "Tell you what," He playfully poked her nose, causing her to giggle, "I'll help you find your Mommy and Daddy."
"Okay~!" Kagome smiled wider, grabbing his hand with her mitts and he stiffened in shock. He only watched her with wide eyes as she unravelled the scarf from around her neck and offered it to him, "Here, Yuki-san, you can use this for your cold feet 'cause you got no shoes!"
Jack stared before he burst out into laughter, "Don't worry about me," He ruffled her long hair, his eyes growing soft, "I don't get cold like you do."
"Oh," Kagome blinked and Jack helped her wrap the scarf back into place, "You don't get cold like me?" She asked curiously and Jack saw no reason to lie.
"Because I'm Jack Frost!"
