You guys were all so sweet so I decided I simply HAD to do another chapter! It felt good to write after so long! And I've been so obsessed with Gossip Girl lately, it's consuming my heart! Do you guys watch Gossip Girl?

Don't worry, I haven't completely ditched the Cammie's father storyline!

Disclaimer: I do not own anything. Unfortunately. It would be fab if I did.

I stood there silently, Zach next to me, flicking through the diary. Dad. My dad was alive. I honestly didn't know how to feel or what to feel. Happy? Or sad because we'd moved on and learned how to live without a father/husband figure in our lives.

"This is so weird, why would they PRETEND he was dead?" Zach asked.

I shrugged and we sat there silently for a while. Some footsteps broke the silence and Zach and I were immediately more alert. Of course, we were in some secret building which they were not meant to be in, and if they were caught there would be serious consequences.

"Let's go…now." Zach whispered, seeming to read my mind.

The way out was pretty simple, you didn't have many security procedures in order to leave the building except we somehow took a wrong turn but ended up finding an emergency exit door which we ran outside from. The sky was still dark and the atmosphere was somewhat calming.

"We need to get back and I" I sighed "need to call my mom up. This is serious, I need someone to talk to."

"Excuse me?" Zach grinned, motioning to himself.

"I love you, but I meant someone in my family." I laughed. My laugh didn't sound the same as usual though.

How was anything supposed to be the same as usual since I discovered that my father could be roaming the streets of Arizona, where I am right now?

"GUYS!" Bex screamed "YOU SPENT AGES, WE WERE GOING TO GO LOOK FOR YOU!"

"It's okay, I just need to call my mom and everything is ok. We're ok." I smiled.

Then realised how panicked I sounded, with the over use of "ok".

"Cammie you're obviously not ok!" Macey said, sitting on the other side of the room filing her nails.

It was just Macey, Liz, Bex and I in the room, the boys had supposedly gone to sleep.

I took a deep breath and gave them a detailed account, which I must admit, was pretty darn detailed.

"Wow." Liz said slowly.

"Right?" I agreed.

"So you gonna call your mom or what?" Macey asked.

"Yeah, I'll do it tomorrow morning though. I'm so tired, goodnight guys." I yawned.

"Goodnight, Cammie." Liz said and I snuggled deeper into my duvet.

Well, today had certainly been interesting, I could hardly believe what I had just discovered was true.

In the morning, we got up and ate breakfast downstairs. The guys were (still) sleeping, but us four girls, together like the old times felt good, without sounding too clichéd.

"Bunch of some hot guys at 3 o'clock, girls," Macey wolf-whistled.

We subtly spun around to see they were Zach, Grant, Matt and Jonas.

"What is on our agenda for today?" Jonas asked, sitting down and helping himself to Liz's waffle breakfast.

"Anything we want, literally anything." I smiled.

"Let's go to a theme park or a zoo or something," Matt suggested.

"Sure, I'll go on my laptop and book us something. Do whatever until like 12pm." Liz smiled.

My friends were the best. Seriously.

"Mom?" I asked, finally deciding to call her.

"Cammie. How's the holiday and everyone? The girls? Zach?" she said happily.

"Yeah, mom, everything is going fine, how are you?"

"Oh, I'm great! It's fabulous here, Joe's so lovely and it's just perfect for a break!" she laughed.

It was great hearing how happy she was. I listened to her going on about her holiday and asking me stuff about my holiday and then explained everything to her. From the photo to the diary, everything.

"Cameron…" my mom said gasping.

"RIGHT?!" I squealed.

"Cameron, I sent you and your friends to Arizona for a vacation, for a nice break from school life. Most certainly not to dig into your father's past, I want to you forget you ever saw anything and return to the Gallagher right away. And tell the others to go back to their homes, and continue their winter break like they would normally!"

I stood there shocked.

"YOU CAN'T DO THAT MOM!" I shouted.

"You bought it upon yourself, Cameron. I'm sorry; I'm only doing this because I love you."

"That makes no sense! What if dad is alive and you're the reason why he will never been found!" I fought back.

"No. I'm hanging up now. Goodbye. I love you."

"THIS IS RIDICULOUS!" Bex screamed, still pacing.

I had just broken the news to them and they were clinging onto their boyfriends/girlfriends really tightly. Zach didn't mind as much as he'd still be with me, but we were still pissed at my mom, I wish I hadn't called her up in the first place!

"We have no choice but to pack and leave…" Liz muttered.

As much as we didn't want to believe it, we knew we had to. Mom had sent some airplane tickets in the post and we had all groaned, this was turning into a pretty fabulous holiday (minus the dad thing).

"It was great, no matter how irritated we are, so let's forget this and hope to reunite with each other some other break, ok?" Macey asked.

The guys nodded.

"Do you promise? You have to genuinely mean it!" Liz said.

They nodded again and Jonas hugged Liz.

"Where exactly IS Blackthorne, though? We can maybe pop in and give you a visit!" Bex grinned.

"I'd tell you but then I'd have to kill you," Matt winked at her.

"I would kill to find out," I muttered, and the guys laughed.

It was nice to see they were not too disheartened about the loss of their girlfriends.

"So I guess we catch the plane now?" Grant asked.

We had already placed our luggage etc. in the taxi waiting for us so we just needed to get to the airport. Everyone got off the beds and we made our way to the rather large taxi. After a silent ride for about ten minutes, we reached our terminal.

Zach took my luggage and we walked to the arrivals area.

"This really sucks," I grumbled to Zach.

"I am aware, Gallagher Girl, maybe you should listen and agree with your mother sometimes though, she only wants what is best for you…" Zach smirked back "And at least now, we can spend the remains of our winter break…alone."

I couldn't help but giggle at that and I suppose he was true I was just a bit pissed off. The guys would get separate taxi's back home from the airport in Virginia, Liz was going to get a flight to Florida where her family lived, Macey was going to catch a short flight to Washington, and Bex's parents had been on the phone with her and told her to catch a flight to England. I guess it was just Zach and I.

I had slept for most of the time on the plane and I guess I was just not feeling too good, the waffles in my stomach were threatening to come back up to my mouth so I tried sleeping it off.

"We're here, Gallagher Girl," Zach whispered, as I was waking up. I had already said bye to everyone and we caught a taxi to the Gallagher, after waiting for our luggage which consumed so much time, of course.

"What are we going to do all break?" I asked sighing.

"Come on, I'll be with you, it's definitely gonna be fun!" Zach laughed.

The taxi driver shot a weird kind of smile at us and went back to driving muttering something about teen love.

"Zach," I rolled my eyes at his comment "Obviously it's gonna be fun with you!"

"I know I may not be as fun and exciting as Grant or Matt but I try, I try…" Zach smirked even harder.

I slapped him lightly as the taxi got off the freeway, into Roseville. I loved Roseville, the town, the shops, the suburbs when we drived through them in our driving lessons, sigh. I had always wondered what it would be like to be a regular teenager living in one of them Josh type houses in Roseville. Whenever I thought about Josh, my emotions were completely blank, I was more than glad to be over him. Plus, when I had someone as perfect as Zachary Goode it was hard to even think about any other guy.

"Just park here, we'll walk the rest," Zach told the driver, as he pulled up onto the side of the road and handed him some dollar bills.

"Thanks," I said and hopped out, helping Zach get my stuff outta the car trunk.

"I am capable of carrying my own luggage, Zachary," I snapped when Zach offered to take my bag.

"Geez, Cameron, I was only being a gentleman," he replied, planting a kiss on my cheek and swiftly taking my cases from my arms.

"I don't care, Zachary," I grumbled.

"Are you PMSing or something, Cameron?" Zach asked innocently so I slapped him again.

We reached the gates, and I hovered my hand over the ID think which detects your thumbprints and the gate swung open. I wondered what mom was gonna say, it's not my fault I was curious as to what happened to my dad, just the tiniest bit of information would make me more satisfied and I was almost absolutely positive my mom knew way more about my father's death than me and she was hiding something. Something BIG. Something to do with Arizona and his location. Now, I could only hope to find out what it was.

OH MY GOD, SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING SOON, I STARTED IT LIKE A MONTH AGO BUT MY FREAKING LAPTOP BROKE! It is still broken so I'm on my dad's. And this chapter was shit, but I hope you find it on your hearts to forgive me seeing as I was kinda laptop deprived. I spent my week reading every single Zammie fanfic and I have tons of my own ideas, this one will probably on for maybe 10 more chapters but I will hopefully start some other ones. Also, I'm sorry for the lack of Zach and Cammie in here, I can assure you, you'll get Zammie in the next chapter for sure, seeing as they are all alone in the Gallagher with the exception of a few teachers, hmm, I wonder what they'll get up to…;) REVIEW PLEASE! DON'T BE LAZY! I know you guys are reading this but not reviewing, even if it's a smiley face or something lol if you don't review how will I make my story better? PLEASE GIVE ME IDEAS IF YOU HAVE ANY TO SAVE THIS STORY! I am dangerously low on them! Haha thanks, and have a great day, y'all! Loveeeeeeeeeeeee you, -A. XOXO.
