Another Exam Job

After partying last night, Gon and Killua found a hotel to stay in from there on out.

Next Day:
Gon and Killua meet up with Wendy at the guild hall, while everyone else is doing their own thing.
"Good morning guys." Wendy greets.

"Good morning." They reply back.

"Now that we're guild members now, how about we start going on our first job?" Gon suggested.

"That sounds great." Wendy nods.

"Same here." Killua agrees.

They then look on the job request board.

"There's sure is a lot to choose from." Gon looks, "They all look from and worth a lot of money."

"Yeah, well I want it to be interesting." Killua says with hands in pocket, "Being bored isn't my style."

"I figured you'd say that." Wendy giggles.

"Oh?" Gon sees one that sats exams on it, "How about this one?" He takes it off the board and shows them.

"The Chunin exam?" Killua reads.

"That's an odd exam name." Wendy reads as well, "What's it about?"

"I'll read it." Killua takes it from Gon, "It's an exam for ninja beginners, anyone else outside of a ninja can take it as well."

"So it's a Ninja exam!" Gon gets it, with amazement.

"Where does that take place?" Wendy asks.

"It takes place at the hidden leaf village. " Killua keeps reading, "Reward: 9,000 jewels. Client: 3rd Ho...Kage?" He tries reading that, "Whatever his name is."

"It sounds like it's gonna be similar to the hunter exam." Wendy compares.

"But this time, It's a ninja type of exam rather than a hunter one." Gon gets it, "It looks like it'll a lot of fun."

"Nice comparison. But, I gotta say... this one looks to be more interesting." Killua says.

"Looks like we're all on the same page, wanna go for it?" Gon asks happily.

"Sure." Wendy nods.

"Yeah, fine by me." Killua does as well.

"I'm going as well." Carla walks up to them with her arms crossed.

"Carla?" Wendy is surprised.

"What do you need to come for?" Killua questions.

"Even though I trust you around her." Carla looks at Gon before back at Killua, "I definitely don't trust you."

"Why not?!" Killua exclaims.

"I find something odd with you when around her." Carla crosses her arms and suspects.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about, nor do I care if you trust me." Killua blushes a little and crosses his arms, looking away, "

"Sigh, these two have some getting along to do." Gon sweat-drops.

"I agree." Wendy sweat-drops as well.

With that said, they take the job and check with makarov first before heading to the Magnolia train.

Train station:

"Hmm... " Gon thinks.

"What is it, Gon?" Wendy questions.

"I just wonder where the leaf village could be located." Gon replies.

"It is a place we never heard of." Carla says.

"No need to worry." Killua takes out a map, "I managed to get a map before we came here." He shows them, "It's located in this continent, the land of fire." He points where is it on map, "So it'll take us till tomorrow morning to get there."

"Aww that sucks, didn't know it was that far away." Gon is a bit down.

"It's a ninja village so of course it's far away." Killua says.

"I wonder what it's gonna be like when we get there." Wendy wonders.

"One things for sure, we're staying together and not getting separated." Carla crosses her arms.

"Yeah, yeah." Killua shrugs and isn't paying her attention, "Even female cats are so sassy."

With that said, they get on the train, having their bags with them, and begin riding on ahead.

1 hour later:
While looking out the window and enjoying themselves, they decide to tell each about their adventures in greed island and grand magic games.

Gon and Killua go first and explain what they went through in greed island:
After that:
"That really was a lot to go by, and who knew hisoka actually helped you." Wendy was surprised, and amazed.

"Yeah, well, that guy is so unpredictable, it's hard to tell what he's thinking." Killua thinks back.

"He mentioned he was there for chrollo." Gon pointed out.

"You mean the phantom troupe leader? What for?" Wendy asked.

"To undo the judgement chain that kurapika placed around his heart." Killua explains, "He still wanted to fight him one-on-one."

"Oh, I forgot kurapika told us he placed that on him." Wendy recalled.

"You guys even faced a bomber to win the last phase?" Carla questions.

"Yep, He was tough, but we managed to pull it off." Gon grins with two fingers up.

"Oh yeah, what about the grand magic games?" Killua asks.

Wendy and Carla then explained next and what went on in the grand magic games:
After that:
"Oh, so the guild's number one rival was sabertooth, huh." Gon gets it.

"And those raven tail guys or whatever broke the rules and got disqualified? Serves them right." Killua shrugs.

"We didn't not know natsu, gajeel, and Laxus were dragon slayers like you." Gon grins and finds it awesome.

"Didn't happy tell us there were others?" Killua mutters and recalls.

"Now you know." Carla speaks up, "Natsu is a fire dragon slayer, Gajeel is an Iron dragon slayer, and Laxus is a lightning dragon slayer. And of course, you already know Wendy is a sky dragon slayer."

"Are dragon slayers amazing or what?" Gon beams.

"There's even two of them from the Sabertooth guild. Sting, the white dragon slayer, and Rogue, the shadow dragon slayer." Wendy added.

"Wow! You also mentioned that Natsu and Gajeel took them on and beat them." Gon is amazed.

"A battle of dragon slayers, huh." Killua found it amazing as well, a little, "It's also funny how those guys bragged about being the strongest but lost anyway." He grins mischievously.

"For once, I agree." Carla says.

"And that part where you mentioned that dragons started appearing out of some gate and went all over fiore." Gon recalled.

"Yeah, who knew that there were several dragons that actually appeared." Killua finds that surprising, "And the guilds had to fight them too? Did it go well and lead to all the dragon's being defeated?"

"Actually... we didn't really defeat them, they just disappeared." Wendy replies.

"Disappeared? That's strange." Gon wonders.

"They were probably fake dragons if that's the case." Killua guess.

"Uh, no, they were actually real. It was just that this future rogue guy brought them back and controlled them into rampaging." Wendy explains.

"Oh, that explains it." Gon gets it.

"So he must of been defeated by someone and that cause the dragons he controlled to start disappearing." Killua guesses.

"Yep, and natsu defeated him." Wendy nods and smiles.

"That guy again? And here I thought he was a goofball." Killua was surprised.

"At least it all went well in the end, with all of us winning and completing our respective games." Gon grins.

"You're right." Wendy smiles and agrees, while killua shrugs and agrees as well.

"This child is full of energy." Carla thought, looking at Gon.

"It there anything else a dragon slayer could do?!" Gon beams in amazement.

"Well, each dragon slayer can eat their own element." Wendy explains.

"Eat their own element?!" Killua is amazed.

"Yep." Wendy nods, "Natsu eats fire, Gajeel eats iron, laxus eats lightning, sting eats light, rogue eats shadows, and I eat wind."

"Wow...!" Gon and Killua beam.

"And the part where you said that laxus guy eats lightning..." Killua points out.

"What about it?" Carla asks.

"It's just like how I'm immune to lightning myself." Killua reveals.

"Huh?!" Wendy and Carla are both surprised.

"No joke. I've gone through lightning torture since I was little so now, lightning isn't a problem to me." Killua explains and grins.

"A little child going through all of that...?" Carla is still surprised.

"That's actually great on your part lightning endurance, killua." Wendy smiles, "Even though, that was still so cruel."

"Heh... heh." Killua shakes his head and blushes at the complement.

The train then stops and the intercom announces the other train heading for another land.

"That's our que." Killua says as before they get up and head to the other train.

Once on it:

"Alright, now it's on to the hidden leaf village!" Gon raises his fist after they sat down, with killua and wendy nodding, while carla just smiles a little.

There we go, now that they told each other about how there game adventures went. One to the next job adventure.

And this time, Carla goes with them instead of happy, good way to change it up.
